this is the story of the journey of the government fleet and their journey from their old homeworld to a new home in Federal Union space.

any allies are of Kirisubo are welcome.

Pirates or other hostiles might make things interesting but I don't want this turning into a massed fleet battle.

The Tairo's fleet of well over 1000 ships and 140,000 souls took a southernly route towards the space controlled by the Federal union after the Nova torpedos had done their work and destroyed New Kirisubo.

Nothing remained and now they would have to move on.

they travelled at impulse while some ships fixed engine problems and an hour later they were ready to warp out on the journey ahead of them.

the leader of New Kirisubo, Aiko Fujiwaki listened on the bridge of Admiral Tanegashima's ship, the INKS Honshu.

Both women agreed that it would be a good idea to find out more about the offer.

The Admiral ordered a comms signal to be sent to the Bekhaera.

Repairs continued on the 3 newest additions to the fleet which hadn't even been offically completed yet but had to be used otherwise they would have been destroyed in the fireball that engulfed new Kirisubo.

The Paladin set off into a star burst and reached the outer limits of the space sector which the Kirisubo were in, "ok men get ready to bored and meet some new peopel" Fairfax ordered his staff, "Their refugees but are honourable so no talking down to them, got that peopel!" Fairfax roared as if he was about to lead a charge against the enemy, Fairfax made sure nothing went wrong

As the Paldin came closer they saw the fleet of ships and wondered what couldve caused so much damage, this is the paladin, requesting linkage between Paladin and flagship" Ensign Thomson

"only recently after the allied victory over the AKALLABETH remnant we obtained these star maps and alos discovered this planet which somehow remained hidden to us, this planet was named TERRA, it has 4 oceans, 4 continents, is rougly three times smaller our homeworld (OOC: TERRA SAME SIZE OF EARTH ROUGHLY) we have begun colonization efforts there and alreadya city is built, this city is called NOCTURNA VALE, this planet needs settlers and we are willing to give Kirisubo this planet as ayour new homeworld"

Looking over the scans of the planet Admiral Tanegashima could see it was a good colony world.

"we won't be in the Federal Union space forever even although they are our allies. it'll only be a tempory home until Unity is ready and our ships are repaired.

However Terra gives us another option. I suppose some of the population could live there as well.

Admiral Tanegashima smiled slightly and said "Admiral Fairfax, I view the 10,000 souls going to Terra as a test run. i'll pick out the ships and your vessels can escort them there while the rest continue on their journey.

she looks out a viewing port and points out a Kagemon class exploration ship hanging 200 metres away from the command ship.

At this point, the Incognitian aid arrived. The entire FTL fleet, of a dozen cruisers, two battleships like the one already here, and twenty destroyers. They carried humanitarian aid, but still packed quite a fighting punch.

"Would it help for our aid ships to follow to Terra?"

Admiral Tanegashima ponders, raises a slender eyebrow and suggests "it may be best to split the fleet in some manner so that both civilian fleets are covered adequately"

she smiles slightly and says "if half the fleet goes to Terra that should suffice since we still need to get the others to Federal Union space"

she works out how many ships will be making the shorter trip to Terra and adds "we should have about 70 civilian ships making the journey to Terra and the more protection they have the better"

"This is much more thna we first expected, we give the Incognitians passage to terra alongside the Kirisuboans" replied Fairfax

Admiral Tanegashima nods and says "it'll in our interests to have our allies with us in the journey to Terra. We also have an agreement with the Incognitians so we mutually help each other.

When will we get started?"

"as soon as you are able, we are currently engaged in several wras but the core of our flet is at Bekhaera and Terra so we are safe" replied Fairfax

the ships were ready in time and they set off at warp 6, the cruising speed of the civilian ships.

the Captain of the Hankoteki Na (Defiant) matched this taking point for this leg of the journey.

25 vessels of the Incognitian Navy followed, led by Redoubtable. They cruised easily, keeping plenty of power in reserve for any emergency.

Captain Fujiko Abe has been authorised by Admiral Tanegashima to approach the Admiral of the Terror fleet about a proposal.

Its city was partly on the sea and partly on land, a bridge between two powerful forcs of nature

"I've been authorised to send over my science officer, Commander Keiko Isikawa as the first officer in the program. She'd be under your command while on your ship and should be helpful to your ships operations" Captain Abe replies

"She will be most welcome. One of my officers will go now to arrange her accommodation on this vessel."

"thank you Admiral Nomara. my officer will be transporting shortly" Captain Abe replies.

30 minutes later a lone figure appears in a column of light and then reassembles by an airlock inside the Redoubtable as arranged and on time.

Commander Keiko Isikawa was about 27 years old, quite beautiful with long blue black hair, olive skin and green-blue eyes.

she was small at 5' 1" and very slightly built but anyone could see how confident she was. Dressed in the regulation Kirisuban uniform of the dark red jacket and black trousers she looked like she meant business as well.

She had a shoulder bag containing clothes, other essentials and a scientific scanner.

A grizzled old Chief saluted as she arrived.
"The Admiral sends his regards, Ma'am, and asks whether you'd prefer to settle in in your cabin, or dive straight into the thick of things on the bridge."

Keiko bowed and returned the salute.

"Chief, I'd like to leave my bag of first and then head to the bridge. I doubt the Admiral would want to see me with my luggage" she replied gently.

"Can you give me a quick tour so I can find my way around?" she adds

"Of course Ma'am. I'll take you by way of your cabin. We can't tour the whole ship, but we can get through most of officer country without going much out of our way.
Can I take your luggage? Your cabin is just this way."

"Domo" Keiko replies and gives the chief the small shoulder bag letting him lead the way through the corridors as she tries to remember reference points so she dosen't get lost.

knowing she can work out the rest later she leaves of her bag in the cabin she'll be calling home for a while and follows the chief to the bridge.

The bridge would probably look very familiar. Officers and rating at various stations with readouts and controls for parts of the ship. Endless bustle going here and there.
And of course, the commander in the centre of it all. Here it was an Admiral, the Captain a little off to the side.
The Admiral walked forwards to meet her.
"Welcome aboard Commander Keiko. I'm Admiral Nomara. This has all been so sudden that I'm afraid we're still sorting out a bridge station for you; but we'll get there."

"the bridge is certainly bigger than I'm used to" Keiko replies "But I will manage Admiral sama."

She asks quietly "will you require me to wear an Incognitian uniform so I blend in?"

"If you wish to, that is easily arranged, but it won't be necessary. You're seconded here, so fully entitled to wear your own uniform - it won't cause any problems."

Keiko nods and replies "once theres a science station organised i'm sure it won't take me long to learn how things work here. in the meantime i can tie this into ships power"

she shows the admiral the latest scientific scanner produced on her homeworld. the box is about a foot high and wide and a few inches in thickness.

"its the standard issue scientific scanner and its a practically a computer in its own right" she adds as she opens it up to reveal a little keypad, a small screen and sensor ports. theres also a connection for external power as well. the whole 'box' is suspended from a black leather strap for convienent transit.

"Of course." The Admiral motioned over one of the ratings on deck, who returned with a standard power cable.
"What can it do?"

"its primarily designed for surface surveys so you can record your samples in its memory as you go and work on them later" Keiko replies "it also has the normal functions of a Kirisuban ships science station so you can access data on space objects if the external sensors are working"

She plugs in the cable and flicks a switch. Kirisuban script comes up of the small screen and she hits a few buttons to change the script to english.

she moves the scanner round her briefly, hits two buttons and is able to show the admiral an analysis of an air sample she took.

"Interesting. I'm sure we don't have anything doing all that in so compact a package at the moment; so if we could borrow your one temporarily, that would be greatly appreciated."

"not a problem Admiral" Keiko replies "my Captain can always send me another one over and your people could build something similiar.

We're not likely to be making anymore of these for a while and we may well need to copy them"

"Well, the technology probably exists, but we haven't had the demand, not doing much exploration. That is appreciated.
Ah, we have a bridge station for you now."
He led her over to a terminal near the centre, that had been used for the Pilot Officer; the Pilot Officer had wanted to move closer to Engines for a while, but it had never been possible until now.
"You'll be reporting to the Captain directly, for now. But to start with, just familiarise yourself with the bridge station. Evans here" pointing to a young P.O. "can help you out."

"Hai Admiral Sama" she replies and sits down looking over the control panel and glancing over to Petty Officer Evans smiling.

they didn't look that much different from a Kirisuban station but had to ask him a few questions about the flight controls not being much of a pilot. she had a little experience as a temporary helm officer while she was in officer training but had forgotten most of it.

"Well ma'am, the flight controls will be off for you. And especially for FTL, as we use hyperspace not warp, it's safest if they stay that way. The helm there" pointing "routinely takes that duty. You'll mainly want this station for sensor readouts."
He showed her some of the sensor systems; EM, gravity wave, neutrino, hyper- and sub- space, gravimeters...not all carried by Redoubtable, but all usable at her station on a ship that had them.

Keiko nods and sees that the sensors aren't much different to what she's used to.

within minutes she's figured it out and smiles, happy with her progress.

"Looks like you're all set then. Call me over if you've any more questions."

The fleet sailed on. As an experienced officer, Keiko would soon slip into the smooth running of the bridge.

The Bekhaeran fleet emerged in Homeworld space, the Planet Bekhaera glistened from the stellar view and then the planet Terra came into view, smaller than Bekhaera but parts of it were pure green with ice blue seas and oceans and terracotta desrts

"Enter Orbit" ordered Fairfax, "We have a mission to carry out"

The Hankoteki Na led the Kirisuban ships into a standard orbit and scans confirmed that the land was good. Captain Abe knew this was a new beginning for her people.

The Incognitian vessels followed into orbit. They circled high above, admiring the planet from all angles through their scanners.

"One day....one day....we will have many planets like this. Not this one, but there are more...and some will be ours."

"Permission to land, welcoem home Admiral...see youve brough guests I take it" the voice over the comm system said

"Nope...colonists Eddin, Kirisboans and allies to be precise, the planet is to be a co ruling world" Fairfax said as his vessel docked in the city outskirts" Welcome to terra" he said as he messaged the other ships"please mett me outside where we shall discuss any further thinsg that need discussing before we go ahead with the plan"

Captain Fujiko Abe represented her people and beamed down to the surface once she got the co-ordinates.

"Co ordinates patched through to Kirisuboan vessels admiral, shall I begin officla state protocol?" asked Terra Commander Eddin

Eddin was in effect the ruler of Terra , voted as chief of the colony and now mayor of the city NOCTURNA VALE: the night city, and now that Farifax had arrive he could relax as his workload would be halved for a while

"Colonists from another world..they do knwo this is Bekaheran space..right" asked Eddin

"Yes they do but the empire has given them the right to rule their colonies here as theys e fit but it shall remian a mainly Bekhaeran owned planet no get the festivities underway...throw them a party" ordered Fairfax

Captain Fujiko Abe represented her people and beamed down to the surface once she got the co-ordinates.

Nomara came down also; he took a slower route of a shuttle, to get a good look at the world on the way down.

time passed and the Kirisuban colonists had landed their ships over the course of a week.

quite a few of those ships had made their last journey and were now parked in the far distance so they could be cannibalised for parts and building materials. most of the parts and ship panels would also be sent back to the homeworld so they could be reused in new ships.

Vast farms were also springing up. at the moment they were planting rice sapling in preparation for flooding the fields. little villages made out of the ship hulks were springing up round the fields since the farmers needed to be close to their crops.

the 'houses' may not have looked pretty but they had power and did the job.

In the main that was central to Terra, Fairfax looked over the Kirisuboans building process and saw firt hand a civilization creating from scratch, not expanding and adding to an existing worls... but creating a new one...

"This is a chance few get to see...something truly beautiful" Fairfax muttered to hmself as he gazed out onto the green fields of Terra

The Hankoteki Na had gone off on another mission by now but Captain Abe had left her 3rd officer on the surface.

Lt Commander Koyuri Watasa was based in a Sakura class warp shuttle which she would call home for a good while.

normally a vehicle for 6 people it had been outfitted so she would have a place to work as well as having a tent set up close by with all the camping equipment she needed.

her alarm had got her up and she had finished getting washed and dressed and had left the tent looking into the early morning sunrise and muttering in kirisuban.

she could see that the farmers were up already. they would be the key to a sucessful colony once they were able to get a harvest in. She had grown up in a farming community herself and knew all about working the paddy fields.

Knowing she could get breakfast later she started walking over to the nearest farm less than 1/2 a mile away..

"Contatc the Kirisubo Terran leader, I wish to speak to them as soon as they can fit me in, we must greet our fellow colonists" Firfax ordered as he looked out over the city, now people were there living eating breathing sleeping...just liek every other city... his dream was finished, Terra was becoming a jewel in his memory and in Bekhaera

the current leader was Lt Commander Watasa until the colonists got their own council organised.

the call was picked up by her shuttle and automatically transferred to her comm badge,

"Good Morning Admiral Fairfax, Lt Cmr Watasa here. how may i help you?" she replied as she kept walking.

With the Kirisubans safely on Terra, the Incognitians had gone home. There would be visitors to see their friends and allies here, but not just now.

"It had been 113 year since the Kirisuboans had coem to Terra to escape their conflict... I must inform them of the news to come" Fairfax sighed, this was not the saem fairfax, this was his grandson, Artemus Fairfax, less the gruff figure more the diplomat

He exited the Chamber of Trials and headed towards his parked land cruiser... he would venture to the Kirisuboan capital city on Terra to warn them about the conflict...civil war had come to Bekhaera and its colonies and seeing as Terra was the next planet in the Bekhaeran system i may be attacked by rebel forces one tiem or another

Relationships between the Kirisuboan and Bekhaeran people on Terra ahd becoem fraught as of late with skirmishes over land and whantnot, yet Fairfax alwasy seemd to make sure that they were minor struggles, and with Bekhaera having a 65% population control on Terra, it seemed only fair that he re adress the balance and make sure there was no war

But not even he could stop this conflict, his own empire and former academy friends now turned on each other in a battle to control the empire

"Well I don't think they will like what we have to say but It's our only chance of safeguarding Terra" Fairfax said to his bodyguard, Captain Bishop

As they arrived on the outskirts of the Kirisuboan capital there was bordercheck... It seeme dthat his neighbours were becoming increasingly more warry of their allies and neighbours

By now the council had been founded and a retired defence force general was in charge.

Fairfax and his guard were led to the council chamber where the Taiko was waiting for them.

the old woman sat at a table having been prewarned and dressed in a red kimono she rose and bowed to them needing a stick to get up.

"my name is Kaede Minamoto and I lead the Kirisubans on this planet. How may i help up today?"

"I am Artemus Fairfax, descendant of the Fairfax who offered you this planet... I bring word of a great conflict between my people which threatens to engulf your part of Terra as it does ours, for a century now our people have lived side by side and only recently have we encountered..strife between our two peoples...we need to ally ourselves once more and fight the rebels..." Fairfax proclaimed to his opposite

he needed the alliance to be restored if there was to be any chance of securing Terra's future

"Our comm systems have reported that a rebel ambassador is here on Terra now and is coming here to meet with you to proclaim an alliance... we wish for you to ignore hsi words... this planet will fall if not united again"

Kaede nodded and replied "this world is our home and we have expanded a lot since the first 10,000 souls came here. Now there are 1/2 million of us.

It is important to remember the past and we have always known it is important to honour the old alliances even if the current state of affairs isn't ideal.

We settled this world together so we should also defend it together.

Our forces are ready and theres 20 upgraded Tenpeku warships in the orbital shipyard ready to do just that. If war does come here we will be ready to fight"

the Tenpeku class warship is a tried and trusted ship design which now has a cloaking device as standard. with developments in weapons technology over a century the ships now have 10 stacked phaser banks which means they pack quite a punch on their own.

there is also 10 plasma torpedo tubes forward and 5 rear ones as well.

they still need to decloak to fire although.

As the two begun talks on preperations for defending Terra & Bekhaera several men clad in black and red robes wandered to the capital of Terran Kirisubo

"Kindly direct me to the chamber... I am the delegation from the empire of Dushkun, I am here to speak with Kaede Minamoto, It is important" the delegate asked oen fo the Kirisbuoan soldiers... the rebels had arrived

Meanwhile the fleet of Terra was amssing, a joint Kirisuboan and Bekhaeran alliance once more, this fleet would bloster the defences of both planets, if Bekhaera was attacked then it would lead to Terra being next

"We are receiving word of our allies in Divinus VI fighting the rebels..it seems the fleet is doing better than thought... they wont pose a threat to us" Fairfax said confidently, he could sleep easily tonight

that was until he received a message on his holo pad...

"Sir! Minerva station has just been fired on by the enemy forces... The war has finally coem to Bekhaera...we are retliating.. we require assistance we..need...he....ca...y.." and the message died...

the group of female guards were appalled by the visitors lack of respect to their leader. Even if they had called her Minamota san face would have been saved.

Never the less the visitors were escorted to the council chamber and they waited until the Taiko was ready to see them.

After making them wait 15 minutes she appeared flanked by 6 female guards still formidable despite her many years.

"Welcome to Neo-Kyoto" she replied "How may i help you honourable ambassador?"

Up in the orbital dock the attack had put the kirisuban fleet on high alert.

Admiral Akira Tanegashima, the grandson of the Admiral Koiko Tanegashima who led the exodus from New Kirisubo sat in the command chair of his ship the 'Ki-rin'.

19 other Temepku class ships were now ready to leave their docking ports and certainly ready to fight..

"I am Tenjin Makhathi of the noble empire of dushkun.. on word of my master Konin Rifi I am here to obtain an alliance as my lord has given me instructions and has tabled an offer to you the leader of your people" Tenjin proclaimed, Fairfax wa in the room next door consulting the Terran High Guard of Bekhaera and those of the Kirisubo fleet ready to attack the rebels who now laid seige to the space fortress Minerva

the Kirisubans living on Terra had gotten used to the lack of manners from their neighbours and these Bakhaerans were no different.

The Taiko knew that they had chosen a side already but face still had to be saved on both sides and this game had to be played out.

"Tell me about your offer" she asked..

Admiral Tanegashima was having a video conference from his ready room with officers of the High Guard discussing the way forward.

He was content to listen to the plan for now and comment later..

"Our offer is simple and most gracious... after our conquest of Bekhaera we shall grant you Terra...you will no longer have to share it with Bekhaera or anyone, it will be the centre of a new empire for you... that is what we will give you" Matakhi said as is Kirisubo counterpart lsitened in

Meanwhile Fairfax and the High Guard of Terra' ships were ready to move out

"Ok...send all available reinforcements to Bekhaera and safeguard the Minerva station, we need that to stay in space, its the first line of defence" ordered Fairfax "what do you think Admiral ?"

"taking a look would be a good idea" Admiral Tanegashima replies "but we should have a plan in case we are outnumbered or outgunned. You'll have all my ships with you although"

The taiko listens and says "us Kirisubans respect history and your forebears led us here 113 years ago. We build a world and made it our home.

Therefore I must decline your offer. We do not desire a world of our own or an empire"

"you turn down the chance to forge an empire of your own even when my own people, those I stand against seek to claim complete rule of Terra... I offer you this planet and other thinsg to add to your people's prestige... while if you side with Bekhaera.... your people will return to the drudgery and the second class people of this planet you are" Matakhi explained, as a former soldier and high ranking officer of the Terra Division of the High Guard he knew all the secrest of Terra

"And believe me, my master, Vidian will grant you so much more, at this moment the usurper called Konin Rifi and his apprentic Vidian fight the Bekhaerans...and no doubt Vidian will surpass Rifi and when he does we shall enter a new age of enlightenment..it is your choice, be powerful with us or weak and slaves without us!"

Meanwhile Fairfax and Tanegashima deliberated about the fight

"yes your fleet is under my wing but you can recall them whenever if you see fit, but the enemy now approaches Bekhaer itself and the war will go the surface... something we cannot allow! Minerva's defence systems are firing back as well are the defence ships of 150 vessels we have, with only 20 star destroyres we have as the core of the fleet is in Divinus VI fighting..we must act quickly" Fairfax stated

the Taiko despite her advanced years wasn't going to be insulted.

"we are not second class citizens or weak" she replies with steel in her voice "and my people are warriors although we practice peace. If you face us in battle you'll see how wrong you are about us.

I think you have said enough and my decision is final. However we will never be slaves. We would rather die first than see that happen"

she nods to her guards adding "My guards will escort you back to our border check point and i hope that you will consider what I have said as well"

Matakhi smirked and stretched his arm and hand outwards lifting the Taiko off her feet before she beagn to clutch her neck as if she couldnt breathe

"Dont underestimate me or my empire...we will crush you liek a bug if you do not join us!" Matakhi barked as he held the Taiko's life in his grasp, he dropped her to the floor and walked away not before saying

"Heed my words...you ahve witnessed a small part of our power...join our forces!"

and with that Matakhi left the chamber

Meanwhile the Allince of Terra and Bekhaera was ready

"our ships are needed urgently, let us proceed to the war!" ordered Fairfax as he and his asscoaited exited the chamber with due haste

the guard commander was about to shoot at their guests when the Taiko shook her head.

Once she got her breath back she went to the room where the planning was taking place and told them what had happened.

"it looks like we're going to be in an unpleasant war but we're ready for it" she replies still feeling a little sore.

on the view screen Admiral Tanegashima looked angry at his leader being treated this way.

"they'll pay for this once battle is joined" he says.
