OOC: I would like this to be for those in the Skibereen region only, although I am sure some would want to bandwagon. Please, no pile ups.
Davenport, Jewittist Skibereen
Jewittist Skibereen's government had been loyal to The Jewittist Republic for some time, but their people kept a great sense of nationality. Unlike all other nations that turned Jewittist, they stayed away from talks of being part of the Republic itself.
Reaping the goods of the Republic, its exemptions from having to be part of a collective economy, its support in having free grants given without question; it was the perfect player economically. It had gained massive technologies through the Republic, and had also brought in new industries, making itself independent of any foreign imports. Its factorial output was only five percent of the Republic's own, but then again, over thirty nations were within the Republic to contribute.
Today, it would change.
The President of Jewittist Skibereen, a politically installed figure put in by the FIA (Federal Information Agency), had been given a document. It read, simply without any profession or political correctness, "Hold an federal vote to be annexed by The Jewittist Republic, or all economic aid will be removed."
The speech he gave was more of a hostile one.
In front of millions around the country, nearly four hundred million in fact, he proclaimed "Those in Raptior will face our demands, they may not, in any way, remove their economic support. They ran across this land, and then pledged its stability and support until Jewittist Skibereen becomes stable enough to function on its own. We are in no way capable of this. If Chancellor Jewitt signs an act to remove economic aid, it is a direct declaration of war on Jewittist Skibereen, and its people."
He ended his reasoning with a quick note: "Promising aid and then removing it is just as bad as invading and pillaging a country. That is exactly what Jewitt is doing, and will do even further."
Raptior, the capital of the Republic, answered with this in an open-air telegram:
"The Jewittist Republic will ensure its assets' prosperity, even if it means an entire nation has to fall and be forced into membership."
War was about to begin, a clash of a France and Germany, but this time France would ask for it.
OOC: I have to be quick, so I could not put in a good post.
