I apologise immediatly to anyone who has opened up a "seeking suitor" thread, Im sure you were just plain bored, but I'm saying this anyways.
What the hell is happening to International incidents? Is Max Barry trying to trick us into a life of romance!? :p I mean II is slowly turning into that last April fool's joke of Nation Dates, and its just......sad. SHEESH.
Each time I see one of those threads I wanna cry. What happened to war!? Diplomacy!? Things blowing up!? Terrorists!? More stuff blowing up!?
Can we please end it? Im worried that II will be corrupted by this, just as Nation states has been corrupted by Sports threads (I will never understand that either).

Marriages are acts of diplomacy between two nations...Exactly! And they are allowed here just as much as the other threads. There are a lot, yes, but there are far more threads unrelated to marriage. There is just a sudden surge of marriage threads.
Only reason I created one was to help a friend out in a plot to kidnap the suitor and hold 'em for ransom. :p

Ok thats pretty awesome...... (who do I use these American terms!? Gah!)
But in terms of Diplomacy....seems a bit medieval to me, seeing as most of these nations are MT. And I dont think marrying the presidents daughter (seen a few of them) counts as diplomacy......

Hm.....I dont. I find the threads popping up every two minutes irriatating, when the energy and time poured into them could be poured into a decent war......

And I do agree. Let people RP how they want. Even if it is a little weird... I, personally, feel II should be reserved for 'agressive' diplomacy... Cue explosion sound.
People can RP more than one thread at once.
