The way the galaxy churns (ATTN seaquest)

New Union City Tarren prime the white house…
President Bastidas sat at his oak desk, the smooth wood martial gleaming in the light of the classical like chandler.
He sighed a bit, his smooth 150 pound body encompassed in a suit; he looked up his tie and white shirt rustling, a joint chief of staff walked in.
Rob looked up quirking a brow, he handed rob a large Electronic pad.
He looked at it and began scrolling down, he said while reading “Seems to me the seaquestrians have been doing some temporal weapons research, and arrogantly so…”
The general nodded slightly and responded “well sir, I don’t think its wise to let them developed this at all, they are the type of people to go crazy and start going back in time to give them selves advanced technology”
Rob nodded and asked “What’s our courses of action?
The other figure responded proudly “Intervention or we sit on our asses and do nothing, with all do respect”
Rob chuckled “Option A or option B eh, Ill take option A, get a session of congress together”
Rob thought for a moment how this would make the USFU Look, rather hypocritical, but also rather right since they are not irresponsible, he shook his head and waited for a call time passed the figure in front of him walked out.
Several moments later a call came in.
Rob picked it up on the holophone putting the holographic image on.
The secretary of state was on the line, he began to speak “Mr president congress and the house are ready for a meeting, Be here ASAP”
Rob nodded and stood up shutting of the holo phone with a swipe of his finger, he rushed of in to a teleportation room just inside a random door.
Several seconds later he appeared on the podium of a massive domed almost neo roman room with metallic walls and marble like floors and pillars of gold white metal, the federal flag was in back of him in all its glory.
He watched as thousands filtered in, it took several moments but in that time he prepared his speech.
He began to speak as people settled in.
“Good evening Fellow citizens and senators of the union, I am here today to preach to you an issue of survival and potential subduing of an arrogant nation who would not be able to control a certain power they have researched, this nation is sea quest, for many years now we have heard reports of temporal weapons research, and from unnamed sources we have gotten conformation of this, it is evident that this nation cannot tolerate a nation such arrogant as sea quest to develop weapons of this magnitude, you may pose the question to me, like why do we care? We have them, I care and we should care because this nation is a possible threat to our very existence! If they are allowed to run rampant with un checked or un quenched power, they will be a threat to us and our allies and possibly put the milky way under there thumb if they become so arrogant and so bloated that they believe they can do that with no one responding.
If we sit here we give them exactly what they want! We must not do that we must act now, I am her by officially calling for a formal declaration of war against the nation of seaquest, as a preemptive action, congress and the senate must act, and must balance the power in the galaxy and keep arrogant irresponsible nations run around with deathly powerful weapons! I shall leave you to vote..”
The speech was broadcast all over the galaxy and universe FNN had put broadcast feeds almost every place and sent signals out.
The results came in as the president was standing on the podium.
The resolution and deliration of war had narrowly past 850 for 845 against.. The United States was now at war…. In nearly four decades..
The president himself began calling out all generals and leaders of fleets, it was time to get things rolling.
Several areas of space in seaquest were chosen as a blitz and Forward deployment zone..
4 massive fleets of over 4000 ships and 4 transport ships total started to deploy inside the union… Over 1.4 Million troops OFWS and hundreds of thousands of pieces of equipment.
Each star base and Star facility saw thousands of huge small and medium sized masses of grey gleaming ships, there forms shivered in the darkness of the void of space.
The leader of the Endeavour, was Admiral Richard kenzington .
The older man with grey hair, slightly toned face white skin and a long slender body, he looked over his entire bridge tech, a huge window and view screen in front of it, he grinned a bit standing his form shivering a bit as he shifted, he stared over to his con officer and said “Con are all the ships formed up?”
The Con officer stared up and smiled responding “yes admiral all ships are formed up and ready to depart”
Richard nodded and said “let’s go set our speed low, so they don’t detect us coming”
Quickly but surly the grey mass of ominous looking ships floating in the vacuumed of space began to disappear in huge colorful flashes of energy . The ships whooshed along Time space quick waves of enormous colors and mosaics of oranges, greens, blues , and whites flew over the ships, streams and strings of blue and purple went passed each side as they careened and super high speeds, slow for these ships were hardly slow by normal standards, all shades of colors waved around the hull disporting it a bit the forms shivering ever so slightly, it would take only 15- 20 minutes for the ships to get there, but time feels a lot different on the ships.
It has begun.... the admiral commented his hands behind him his grey and blue uniform gleaming in the light of the bridge, his mind running through events and battle plans of all sorts. “The future of our power and our security depends on this moment..”

that is all

There is nothing to meet about, our decision is clear, we are officially at war with seaquest.
The fleet of ships floated to a stop suddenly waves of color stopping as they were spat out in normal space. The masses of grey sleek ships large and small floated ominously in the void, there forms shivering slightly as they moved forward a bit, there destination was an outer systems, the other fleets did the same jumping in at several points.
Admiral Richard peered around his bridge, watching at soldiers, officers, and enlisted star personnel went about there business preparing for combat.
His mind was running through the last steps of the plan, If FTLI was activated he would use the ships huge SAC’S to siege the system.
He was well rested and strong, he grinned a little and looked over to his helm officer, a feeling of surreal went over him, as he thought about what he was fighting for not giving any doubt to it, he thought existence is pointless and no one being or one nation is special, he was particularly angered at seaquest for there arrogance, and “stupidity” He would capture or burn there worlds if they did not surrender, beam on there ships.. it was about to begin, truly begin.
A near psychotic insanity was in the air around him, but he was sane as any one could be in such a situation expecting a huge battle.
He spoke to his helms officer who was taping on here holographic console, an AI bot near her. He said “Start moving the fleet forward slightly send a probe it to see if they have FTLi, and go slowly so we have time to stop for a siege”
The helm officer nodded her short red hair and her smooth body gleaming in the light of the bridge as she peered out in to the dark shimmering wilderness of space. Taping her console sending an object flying in towards the system.
The ships engines began ominously pushing the huge forms Forward the ships forms shimmered ever so slightly as they moved plowing through the darkness, FDF eagles lighted on there hulls with words and Stars and other Federal lingo.

OOC: @TFU:
1.) You don't know where I am relative to your location. Claiming you do is GMing and I will ignore this matter if you continue on that course.
2.) If you go after my MWG claims, you would only have one place to go. I'll wait to see you there.
3.) Don't wind up ignoring this thread if things go badly for you like in the other thread. You can't win all the time.
4.) Do try to post reasonable losses. Nothing is invincable, so I expect to do some damage.
IC: It wasn't hard to notice the massive build-up in Federal space. It was also not that hard to find out about TFU's jealousy of the SeaQuestian Empire. Thus, it was easy to deduce that SQ was TFU's intended target.
It also wasn't hard, due to the fact that TFU would only know the location of the Empire's Milky Way Galaxy holdings. So, the Belle Terre defenses were put on alert, certain messages were sent, and ships diverted.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The probe launch was detected. It was met with the hull of a ship as it dropped to sub-light. There was an explosion as the tiny probe struck against the many, many, many times larger Dark Star class super heavy warship.
A message was broadcast to the TFU vessels:
Federal Union craft, you have entered the Cluster space claimed by the SeaQuestian Empire in full war regalia. State the nature of your visit or leave now and forever hold your peace.

The commander grinned a little his wrinkled face curling up as he looked to his con officer , and nodded saying “open a frequency”
The con officer tapped on his holo panel opening it up, the commander started to speak:
We are hear to put an end to your temporal research and to demand that you secede this sector to us .
The comm. cut and the commander grinded a little putting his hands to his chin and side Suddenly hand swiped off and started defiantly pointing towards the enemy ships, his mind was a flame with confidence and cunning , his own body shivering as he began to speak, the split second before he spoke seemed like an eternity in his mind as he tried to find the words, his lips curled up and opened up, he uttered “let this begin all ships target seaquestin vessels, fire all SAC, temporal disruptors, and missile tubes, I also want all fighters launched!”
He smiled a bit standing aback staring out of the view port, his eyes aglow as the fleet began to fire, glorious rounds of singularities, temporal disruptors and thousands of missiles s streamed froth from the huge ominous ships.
Smaller ships firing off spinal temporal disruptors, rapid fire gattling missiles launching thousands of missiles per second, streams of blue, green, and white lit up the dark void of space, as thousands upon thousands upon hundreds of thousands of energy pulses , and beams, and missiles flew in rainbows of color.
The commander on the bridge watched this all, him and his crew some what clamed by the light show, his mind was in a sea of confidence amazement.
Advanced SF-22 fighters flew out wards, cloaking in to the fabric of time and space it self, there forms shimmered with a hint of glory and cunningness as they disappeared.
More public SF-16s floated in formation covering capital ships as they unleashed there torrents of fire, they flew passed firing cannons and floated slowly awaiting combat.
The capital ships were ordered to move in to a large semi curricular wedge formation, with smaller defender classes covering the rear.
The grey masses of ships shifted still shooting out torrents of fire.

OOC: TFU, I wouldn't call Abh's kicking your butt fair and square GMing.
IC: A fraction of the incoming fire struck against the Darkstar's trans-spatial shields causing flashes of color as the energy was nullified. The rest passed through empty space as the Darkstar, having delivered its message and getting TFU's aggressive response, had opened a Hyperspace Window and had already gone superluminal en route back to the defense line of ships and stations, all of which had the Federal ships in their sights and locked.
The thirty-one Mark VI Zeus class Orbital Weapons Platforms in particular were given room to fire so that when they did, there were no incidents of friendly fire damaging ships.

The commander growled a bit, his eyes glanced to the disappearing ship.
His hands raised up to his chin once more, then swiped back down he walked towards the large tactical map and smiled. Commenting “These fools think they can draw us in … well helm set a course and put us right out of the line of fire of those defensive cannons ...” He had a plan a very good plan, his mind was afloat with all sorts of emotion, but his face and body glimmered with confidence , his eyes panned the void of space, fighters shimmered back in to existence with haste, and started back for the ships, it took several minutes but he watched every one of them return like a mother hawk watching her children.
He turned quickly his some what skinny but muscular body shivering his uniform and shoes gleaming in the light he said “Engage!”
The helm officer quickly taped the console; the massive grey gleaming shimmering ships disappeared in a glorious array of colors... Moments later they reappeared outside the line, the gleaming grey mass of ships formed up in a semi curricular wedge form.
The commander stood on the bridge booking out over the vast distance, his hands behind him in a parade rest move he grinned a little looking out his eyes panning the enemy fleet.
With another swing of his body he barked orders in a coarse, rough voice saying “ I want 10 Roosevelt class ships to fire there main long range SAC cannons.. at defensive positions”
The comn officer quickly routed the orders his hands gliding over the large holographic display.
The commander looked forth at the enemy formations once again, suddenly massively huge almost comet shaped balls of blue and black flew from the fleet in successions of eight, then there was a pause a silent pause, in that pause the commander swiped his hand up again and in a confident motion said “All ships open fire!”
The entire fleet targeted there cannons, swiveling turrets and cannons targeted ships and stations fighters lunched…
The fleet opened up just as another round of long range fire flew from the ships.
Cannons reverberated and recoiled as they fired again and again, rapid pulses of white, blue, black and orange flew from the masses of grey shimmering ships.
The commander looked on and smiled he watched the huge waves of colors flying towards the enemy.. His mind was rampant with waves of aggressive platuids his hands behind him once again his wrinkly face squinted as he saw bight flashes of lights.
Thousands upon thousands of missiles flung from launchers, beams of slashing green and blue fire followed behind with pulses of energy in between.
The entire lifeless void was lighten up by chaotic fire and streams of targeted fire.
SF-22 raptors shimmered once again in to the bleakness’ of space, SF -16 once again took to there interception positions.
This was not new to the admiral, he had commanded many fleets before, he had seem much war and much death, he was used to the idea, and the lingering confidence was almost palpable, as there was a fleeing of caution and hint of anger, the commander him self was angry at the seaquestians for the arrogance they posed, he thought in his head with a bulging vain in his forehead, every time he thought of them and they’re ascended bull shit he got angry, but outside he kept his composure watching the fire works from the deck of his ship, almost in the thick of it all, this was only the first strike, there would surely be more, but it all rides on this success.

@NE: Any and all traders go to my MWG holdings. On Belle Terre (Botany previously) the goods are traded and then transferred through the nearest Archway (my customization of the Stargate (created due to the Botany incident)) to the trade area.
I also know that I can trust the few nations to have been to my home galaxy to not spill the beans. TFU is not one of those nations. Nor is he on friendly terms with any that are.
@TGB: Your Altera maybe. But I've built my own galaxy around mine, so its not the same one. While I may use a canon name, its certainly the only thing canon about it. Now, I'm going to put you pick on my ignore list with your puppet, Ankhmet.
@Chrono: Not permantly hidden. Just that I know those that do know its location aren't the kind to tell.
As for the Abh thing, he brought it up. I didn't.
IC: Due to the distances involved, the shots fired by the Federal craft were easily dodged and intercepted by the wall of SeaQuestian ships and stations.
That was when the first surprise was sprung. Thousands of five megaton Nuclear Captors Mines appeared behind the Federal forces and, with a some deft manipulations of their thrusters, they sprang foward to latch onto Federal ships's hulls. Sometimes it was one per ship, sometimes more. Each mine had enough Naquadah in externally mounted packs to increase each one-hundred fold. The mines were all equipped to go off if the craft they latched onto moved from its position, at any attempt to tamper with or detach it, or when the timer ran out.
Also, the next surprise was revealed. Thousands of Grav Mines mixed in with the Nuclear Captor Mines sprang towards the Federal ships. While not explosive, they used gravimetric technology to increase the mass of the ship it attached to, thus reducing its speed and agility.
It was as if the mines had appeared from nowhere. The Federal ships wouldn't know if they had been transported there, deployed from a cloaked ship, or had lain in wait hidden in subspace or cloaked having been deployed before they had gotten there.

Most of the smaller and tiny ships could bolt out of the way of the mines… they targeted most of them and fired point defenses, the seaquestrians did not realize that federal ships had shields that could not be penetrated so easily.
Most of the mines exploded on the temporal shielding..
The commander stood on his ship as it rocked, sounds of battle reverberating through the war ship, the mines exploded on the hull causing only minor damage to the shields, older medium sized slower ships were more adversely affected, he turned quickly watching as several older war ships were completely destroyed or baldy damaged, there weren’t many old ships in this fleet but they had some significant numbers.
Hull pieces and flames twisted through the wreckage, as it floated by dead husks of older ships moving slowly.
The newer ships deployed point dense drones and missile drones, these small wonders of tactical innovation targeted and fired with very precise beam fire, millions upon millions fired point defense.
The commander looked out seeing the mines flying towards the ship, he grinned a bit and looked towards his comn officer, a split second turned in to an eternity he knew what he had to do, his hands swiped form there position of parade rest once more in a fluid swift movement.

His lips twiddled with a little bit nervously, like he had eaten something so sour it would kill a man. He was discussed at the seaquesterians tactics, he was careful not to underestimate the tactics of desperate souls how ever, he spoke one more time his voice awash in a tone of total confidence, target there power plants, reactor cores engines and weapons...”
Even though his mind was amiss from turmoil in the times, he was remembering what he had done at pervious battles; he had done many assaults on systems almost like this, his entire outside form stood clam firm and erect like the grate pyramids of Egypt in torrents of sand storms and erosions.
The forward deployed ships formed up a semi circular wedge, they deployed large fields over the advancing fleet behind this would reduce mine damage by 55% but not eliminate it.
The huge torrent of fire became even more wide spread and more intense from the fleet, thousands of Singularity’s, temporal disruptors and energy beams lit up the shimmering darkness with defiance of its shadows, blue whites, greens, oranges, these massively powerful weapons flew towards seaqustrian defenses and war ships, hundreds of thousands of patriot missiles with tera ton range warheads raced towards ships, some were at FTL, these were not as accurate as non FTL missiles but they did there job… streaking across the night sky..
ECM and ECCM started from Federal ships to jam Seaqustrian communications and mine guidance.
With in all this the Commander stood looking out, he seemed lonely and loss in this torrent of hellish fire coming from his fleet, his mind embracing the seemingly endless isolation, and hollow dreams of going home quickly, witch would not be filled.
He knew there were other people on the bridge, hell the entire ship… but he felt alone in his burden, to make his men live through this and to pull through for the union, it fell on him and no one else, but he stood confident in the face of this seemingly daunting task that would make any lesser man cringe with fear and absolutism… he stood in shimmering, and confident as flashes of light shine upon his face and body from explosions across the fleet.

OOC: I did say reasonable losses, TFU. No PDS is 100% effective. With thousands of 500 megaton (original 5 megatons + Naquadah multiplier of 100 fold) NCMs are bound to take out more than just that. The shockwaves and EMPs alone would take out dozens if not hundreds of fighters (remember, a nuke is an area effect weapon).
IC: Due to the Naquadah each Nuclear Captor Mine had strapped on, its five megaton power was increased to five hundred megatons due to Naquadah's natural multiplier effect. It didn't matter if it detonated against hull or shields (OOC: Which I knew you would have as you started out as a ST based nation), the NCMs still went nuclear.
As for the Grav Mines, many may have been destroyed, but those that weren't still went active.
What the Federal commander didn't realize was that the mines were controlled by on-board, limited A.I.s.
Belle Terre - Defense Command Center
"Sir, the Federal forces commander seems to not realize that we can easily dodge everything they throw at us from this range."
"Yes, I've noticed. You would've thought they would have figured it out by now."
It was true. Up in orbit the SeaQuestian ships were easily dodging, destroying, and intercepting any incoming fire due to the fact that the Federal forces were attacking from such a long distance away.
"Items one and two have been activated."
"And we've got many more up our sleeves."
"How's our Fat Man and Little Boy doing?"
"Currently enough Naquadah has been added to increase both's destructive power five hundred fold. Still have ninety-five percent of the Naquada storage space to fill to up them to the planned thousand fold times more powerful each."
"Good. Very good. Those arrogant Federals won't know what hit them."
Random laughter filtered through the room, but quickly died out. Their was a battle to be won.
"Status of defense?"
"Mark VIs are fully powered up and charged. All other ODPs are standing by until the enemy comes into range. All ships report ready for battle."
"And our other assets in system?"
"Currently awaiting your order to proceed with their suprise package, sir."

Blue lights slowly passed by as the elevator brought the man down from the observatory. Looking at the stars from the pinnacle of the capital had a way of settling Imperial Admiral Gaf'ton's nerves. A quiet ping and the doors slid open to reveal a long metallic hallway that he had traversed far too many times since his appointment. He had lost count of how many military matters had to have been taken care of from the room that was before him.
A pale hand pressed the censor panel to the right and the door slid open. Typically there would have been six others in this room waiting for him, now there was only one. Admiral Wakapale looked like her head was about to fall from the fist it was resting on. Her chest rose and fell gently and her lips were slightly parted. The Abriel smiled. Asleep.
He took a seat across from her and sat there for a moment letting her sleep. He finally cleared his throat startling the woman who bolted out of her chair and snapped a salute. "Calm down Clowe. It's just the two of us here so you don't have to be so formal."
Her eyes scanned the room for a moment then she sighed and returned to her seat. "I am sorry. You just scared me that's all. So why have you called me so late at night?"
The smile that was once on the Abriel's face, slowly faded. "An ally has come under invasion from the Fedral Union and is in dire straights."
"I'm not surprised. Who is it?"
"Sea Quest."
"I see. Well my fleet is always ready to serve the Empire. When do we depart?"
Gaf'ton raised a hand slowly, begrudgingly. "It doesn't. At the moment we cannot risk lessening our forces here and send them so far from our border. You will have a small crew at your disposal to avoid a large number of casualities. We can easily replace ships, not people."
Wakapale's visage had sunken considerablly. "How do you expect me to fight them?"
"There is a datapad on board the ship that is awaiting you. It will detail what ships you have and there will be some suggestions. I know what I ask is practically suicide but we have never left an ally in their time of need and we will not start now. If I could send anyone else, I would but you are the only one I know that would make it back alive."
The woman shook her head to stop him. "It's alright. I accept the mission."
There was a moment of silence while they just sat there looking at each other. They both finally stood and headed towards the door. She looked up at him. "I guess I will see you when I see you."
"Don't do anything foolish and return as soon as possible."
About an hour later, Admiral Wakapale's "fleet" was in Hyperspace drifting towards SeaQuestian territory. What she had at her disposal actually surprised her. Her firepower was limited but if used properly, it could become very handy in the battle to come. Careful planning would be needed but she was now slightly more optomistic than during the short meeting.

The fleet continued to advance flowing closer and closer, like an animal in its natural environment stalking its prey.
The commander stood looking out watching as the enemy feebly attempted to get passed the ships shielding, his lips curled to a grin as his face stretched for a squint, he watched as his fleet floated closer and closer.
The officers of the ship were sitting at there stations, taping there panels quickly, a lot of tense fear running through there mind, as if they were in the bleak discussed trenches of a world war one battle, they were some what fatigued, but focusing ever so accurately.
The commander stood in watch his hands confidently behind him and looking out towards the enormous battle, sounds of cannon fire missiles fire and temporal disruptor fire caused his body to shimmer with excitement ever so slightly, his mind was racing with new plans coming in to existence.
His head turned to the tactical officer, his face with a huge grin upon it, hs eyes shining with a new idea. He began to speak his voice filled with some excitement mixed with clam and confidence he spoke in a tone… that was reserved for a leader.. he said in his clam but excited voice “I ant all tornado class corvettes to start hit and run attacks on seaquestrian defensive emplacements, I want the fleet to push forward quickly, its time to put this to an end, start our blitz”
His mind was alive with excitement and confidence, he turned his head back to the gloriously lighten dark shimming void of space, his lips dropped to a usual position of neutrality… His mind afloat with visions of the future and of final crushing arrogant nations who dare oppose the will of democracy, his form stood there not one bit of his thought or emotion filtered out.
The fleet by this time had started to push forward, increasing in speed, targeting seaquestrian ships and defensive stations, firing torrents of fire, a hellish storm of brimstone spewed out of the grey ominous masses of federal ships, cannons recoiled and fired again and again pulses of blue, green, black white and orange filled the dark void, as thousands upon thousands of guided missiles with extreme ranges flew in streaks of yellow, singularity torpedoes followed behind in masses of ominous black blue death…
The fire from federal ships was constant, they pressed forward and more forward rushing like no fleet before, masses of fire flowing from these grey behemoths..
Several Roosevelt class ships turned to there sides, they let the rest of the fleet pass…
The commander on the lead ship grinned again; he swiped his hand from his back in a fluid but stiff motion, his mind now gearing towards total war, with a burning passion to crush these fools... he said with a lunge of his hand forward in roaring thunderous voice “FIRE!”
The main guns of these ships swiveled slightly and moved in to accurate targeting positions, the massive cannons fired again and again recoiling with huge thunderous blasts, massive singularities flew from these huge siege guns… they repeat a volley of fire every so often.
The commanders emotions were inflamed, he was enjoying this, he thought to him self he may be insane for having such hatred, but if he didn’t show it who would know?...
His mind was harping on how this deathly volley of fire would probably tare most of these pitiful ships to shreds, how he would finally vanquish these demons of arrogance, and put and end to any opposition to the union in this sector….
OOC: My ships have very long ranges… And they have very accurate sensors you may not think they are as advanced, but they are.. And they can shoot at you form far away, my ships are meant for a knife fight and a long range fight, as for the mines I could shoot them down if I wanted to, they don’t seem to be that fast, mean while I could erect a field on my advancing ships to scatter 55% of the mines, sure some will go through but it would reduce my damage, any who I’m not getting in to a huge ooc argument over this lets just rp, if you don’t want to take losses then ill just nova your system.

OOC: Your lecturing him on adequate losses when you claim to have lost nothing? Please....Hypocrite
OOC: Look at the distances involved, Chrono. From the edge of the solar system (where he claimed to have arrived) to the third planet. That's a distance of several light minutes, minimum.
Now, if he actually closed in, I could intercept less and less of his fire, but only if he moves. Not even the GE's Death Star can hit something at that range with any accuracy (unless its the size of a planet).

OOC: Don't. How far you can shoot doesn't cover the fact that you weren't close enough to have as short a delay between firing and the target being hit as possible. Due to the distance, I was able to see everything coming and target it with intercept torps.
As for your mine thing, ehh, 55% is okay. However, you still have to post what happens due to the EMPs and shockwaves from those 500 megaton nuclear blasts going off (original 5 megatons plus Naquada multiplier of 100 fold).
And your threat of nova-ing my system, that's a wank I won't accept. You're going to have to do this fairly or not at all.
IC: Belle Terre - Defense Command Center
"So, they've decided to get off their butts and actually move."
"Yeah. Its about damn time."
"Agreed. I was beginning to wonder if they wanted to wait until some of our allies arrived, if at all, or if it was just a feint."
"Let me know when they are far enough from the edge of the system that they won't be able to have a chance of escape when the Network is brought on-line."
"Aye, sir."
Belle Terre - Orbit - Exterior
Now that the enemy was actually beginning to close into an effective range of combat instead of just lobbing shots hoping for a lucky chance hit, fewer incoming shots were able to be intercepted and more and more often it was getting common to see shield strikes.
While it was obvious that the Mark VIs were the primary focus of the current assault, they weren't the only thing defending the system. The two Obsidian class superfortresses purchased from Gronde and installed in this system orbited into range of the incoming Federal craft. There, they layed down supression fire with their weapons. Amoung which were four Apocolyptic Warp Cannons, advertised as the most powerful guns Gronde has ever made. Of course, the two massive stations each also let loose with its ten Heavy Laser Batteries, thirty Laser Turrets, one-hudred-twenty Seeker Missile Launchers, one-hundred Medium Torpedo Tubes, and two-hundred-fifty Light Laser Batteries.
Then, the swarm of sixty-one Thor's Hammer class orbital defense platforms, sixty-eight Janus Gate class automated weapons platforms, and twenty Aquarius class battlestations all opened fire as well with their energy weapons. Disrupters and phaser fire was sent lashing towards the Federal ships. The stations were saving their torps until the enemy forces were in effective range to be guarenteed(sp?) hitting them.
Several stations and a few ships did get hit with enough of the enemie's fire to drop their shields to the point where the regenerative aspect wasn't fast enough to respond, thus causing many shield failures that allowed the fire to strike the hulls directly. Many ships and stations detonated in giant fire balls after enough hits struck their hulls.
OOC: Here's the info on the Obsidian.
The Obsidian Class is armed with the most powerfull guns that Gronde has ever made: The Apocolyptic Warp Cannons. Each one of these weapons exeeds the power of the Desolator's cannon several fold. Just a few shots can sweep through a fleet and break the back of an entire battle group on its own. It is a bit smaller than the Ultamus Class, has less armour, less docking capability, and fewer defencive weapons. However, it is much more mobile, allowing it to support Gronde naval units in attacks. It is more vulnerable on its own than the Ultamus as well. When it is on its own, it is best to place support FTLi generators in a perimeter around it.
Width: 25 Km
height: 20 Km
Mobility Rating: 6:10
Manufacturer: AoN Secret Projects
Weapons:
x4 Apocolyptic Warp Cannons
x10 Heavy Laser Batteries
x30 Laser Turrets
x120 Seeker Missile Launchers
x100 Med. Torpedo Tubes
x250 Light Laser Batteries
Docking Capacity:
800,000 Fighters
And don't say I'm pulling things out of my arse. I've got a list that says these things are at Belle Terre. Abh can verify this and that the list exists.
Here is what the list says is currently at Belle Terre.
61 Thor's Hammer class orbital defense platforms
68 Janus Gate class Automated Weapons Platforms
20 Aquarius class battlestations
2 Obsidian Class Superfortresses
Then there's all the ship's I've place in system after detecting TFU's build-up and launch in the direction of my star system.

*In a galaxy only known to Seaquest and through a special gate made by the people of SeaQuest and Spartan Alliance to better close the cultural boundary and create an everlasting alliance between the Empires.*
OOC: A little history before I jump in, if you dont mind. I am an ally and a reagional buddy of SQ. Oh and Seaquest could you fire up the Galaxy Jump gate on your side so my ships dont jump into nothing. Thanks buddy.
IC: Because of the distance between the galaxies much has already happened but Sparta was always there for her ally Seauqest. It was 50 years ago when the two Empires meet. It was catastrophic, both powerful nations. Destroyed massive armadas from both Empires. In the end though both saw that it would come down to a planet killer weapon to defeat each other. That last Emperor, Emperor Alexander Driscoll I saw that it was not the right thing to do. After an alliance was formed between the two in which both declared everlasting peace between each other.
*On board the I.S.S. Kronos a Death Star Mark I class Refit*
The new Emperor Alexander Driscoll II was in his command chair doing the usual. Reviewing documents, dealing with politics, etc. His most trusted friend Grand Admiral Christopher Atriedes walked up next to him.
"Yes Chris? Something on your mind?"
"Emperor, we a have now just received a message from our allies."
"Let me guess, Seaquest in another war?"
"Yes Emperor."
"Oh that poor friend of mine over there he already has enough on his plate. What is the attacking nation bickering about?"
"Some temporal reasearch crap Emperor."
"Aye carumba, fire up the ion drives. Get this mass on the move. Set course for the Galaxy Jump Gate Gamma. Tell the I.S.S. Emperor Alexander I am returning and also tell her to prepare for Planetary Landing. Admiral the ship is yours, I take my leave and cant wait to see you on your return." *Emperor leaves with his family to the I.S.S. "Yes Emperor, Conn tell that goof ball over there on the I.S.S. Tyrant to get the Imperial 9th Fleet fired up. We are moving. I guess also hail the I.S.S. Atriedes (Another Executor Class SSD) get the Imperial 5th Fleet here to, we shall meet them at the Jump Gate."

IC: As the nation Spartan Alliance already had its own access codes to the Hyperspace Jump Gate network set up by SeaQuest, they would be able to open the Gate on their end without any help. And, as a matter of procedure, no code was needed to exit from the Gate in the Belle Terre star system, which was currently on the opposite side of the star than the direction the TFU forces had come from.

*Hours after the order to assemble was initiated*
Grand Admiral Atriedes was standing next to one of the windows of the I.S.S. Kronos. He glared out looking at the assembly of the 9th and 5th Fleet. All the ships bared the emblem of Sparta, the massive black A put directly on the bow.
"Conn report. Are all ships ready?"
"Admiral all ships report ready."
"Fire up the main gun core. Make sure all turbo-laser batteries, conccusion missile batteries, and all pilots are to their ships at the ready."
"Aye Sir." *Few seconds later the signal alarmed and over the intercom and conn*
"GENERAL QUARTERS! GENERAL QUARTERS! ALL HANDS TO BATTLE STATIONS!"
*Pilots raced for their craft to ready them up, the massive hypermatter core of the I.S.S. Kronos started increasing output massively. All ships of the Combined Tactical Spartan Force started firing up the matter/anti-matter cores.*
"This is the Admiral, all hands prepare for jump to Seaquest Homeworld Sector. Helm calculate time through the gate to Seaquest. Tactical bring up the list of ships on the roster."

The commander of the fleet growled a bit his hand moved over the silky silver table, his face was riddled with angry yet clam twitches like he had just held his temper after a long contest with an arrogant ant.
The commander looked to his con and helm officer and said “I want all ships to set a course to there home world In the cluster , we need to hit that and take it, I want to use it as a staging ground, I also want a cloaked scout to check out there home system”
The commander grinned a little; his mind was awash with feelings of glory and anger…
The huge fleet started to jump out again, the masses of shimmering grey disappeared in to the dark fabric of space and time…
A lone scout how ever diverted from the main temporal jump and cloaked it self, it fleet towards the home system of seaquest, its body shimmering in to the fabric of space and time as it scanned the system from different points and waited.

The fleet dropped out of time, there massive grey hulls shimmering in to existence, the hull lights on these massive ships blinked, as they floated ominously in to the center of the system..
The 4000 ships were spread around in a semi circular enveloping motion…
The commander stood on the bridge once more, determined to win, the massive ships floating besides his own were a reminder that the union were a force to be reckoned with and that they would not be deterred; his arms were behind him once more in a stiff crossed motion, his body was like stone looking out in to the darkness of space waiting for a battle , an ominous wave of confidence hinted with a slight platuide of discuss went over his mind, his lips slightly twitched with anger as his toned face looked out upon the vast emptiness of space.
The large fleet continued to float towards the center planets, forming in there usual assault formation, smaller and medium ships started scattering in small tight knit formations hiding behind clusters of asteroids and what ever else was there that would makes them, then they cloaked in to the fabric of time in space it self, shimmering away in to the darkness. The fleet still had a considerable number of smaller ships to defned against flanking maneuvers with.
The commander knew how to use tactics; instead of a head on approach he would outwit the enemy.
(ooc I assume this is in the cluster? I’m going to use that core system as a staging ground to hit your cluster home world)

The Fedral forces actions had been difficult to miss. Now they would have some backup. A single massive tear in reality was the first hint that anything was wrong. The second was the moon sized planetoid that emerged into the system. If the fools working the Death Star were idiot enough to activate their superlaser, the entire system would be destroyed. It was well known that activating an Enchanach drive in a system did a number on FTLi. It was less well known that bringing it fully online and making an FTL translation inside a system had a VERY bad effect on suns, or similar objects. More specifically it tended to make them explode, quite violently.
Transmission to the forces within this system:

40 Victory Class SD
60 Tartan Class Cruisers
20 Acclamator Mark I Supply Ships

Now, lets get on with the IC posts.
IC: At this point in time, the ships that had been diverted from other locations arrived to supplement the surviving(sp?) ships that were left from those that were originally in-system.
While the SeaQuestian Empire had sent in the entire navy like the Federal Union had, it did send in a couple hundred powerful ships.
Everyone in the Belle Terre Defense Command Center sat and waited for the Federal Union ships to return from their jaunt to Gate Builder territory. In the meantime, the civilian population continued to be evacuated through the Archways, the replacements for the Stargates that use to grace SeaQuestian planets. Unlike with Stargates, more than one Archway could be active on a planet at a time.
The ships took up formation with the orbiting stations around Belle Terre. Everything was set-up so that multiple firing arcs on multiple ships and stations over lapped.

ooc Ok TFU this is important..and mini miehm...i am going to write the end of those two battles that you havent responded to in a month. I have to enough time has passed and the end of the attacks are really not in doubt.
Anyways TFU, by attacking sq in the cluster you have mobilised pretty much the cluster defense initiate against you. Regardless of how right or wrong it is for us to help or not help SQ, its a matter of our defense. 4000+ ships fighting in our backyards is not a good thing. TFU are you located on earth?
And mini, my tech just got upgraded too..and with long hours and postings of development, sorry to not respond to that in our original thread. And for the purposes of ooc stuff, since its a cluster war bring the ooc here

Ok i have no trouble editing for travel time. I must have missed putting the formations reading at Esys3, had a really bad day yesterday..sorry.
IC
***Esys3***
For nearly a day now the invading forces from TFU had attacked cluster residents..primarily seaquestian and gate builder assets. Tannelornian high command had immediately mobilised every refitted einhander, shield, zweihander and morgenstern for action. Within 30 minutes the vessels had arrived from their positions patrolling new carpentaria system, the mini miehm occupatied quarter and the cluster at large.
Not only this 100 of the GAP vessels solely devoted to guarding new carpentaria were sent forth. The troops and daughter craft, as well as heavy missile support would be needed if they were to attempt to slow the onslaught of the TFU fleet and their allies.
They arranged themselves in standard REM jump formation, 20 lines of 10 ships each, several hundred thousand kilometers apart. Lord Altansel issued the command to engage REM jump and enter the seaquestian system. The vessels activated their grav impellers and fusion tubes, Urenbeck field set for full acceleration. The vessels shot forward, a strange mix of red and blue shift images in their wake. Suddenly they fired their DoD systems simultaneously opening tears in reality. The vessels slipped through as the tears crashed shut behind them...
***Seaquest colony***
Inside the seaquest colonial system, just outside of the range of the battle, almost 100 points of light tore open the fabric of reality as 100 ships followed through. Behind them another group of 100 distortions imploded the dimensional wall between the aether and real space.
The ships slipped out from their gates and moved towards the seaquest planetary body which housed their colony. Apparently there had been a moment of respite, except of course for the miehmish battle moon that was now in system. However it was rather obvious now that the fedral union had returned, and the tannelornian fleet presence could not have come at a better time.
As it stood at this moment they were easily outnumbered 100 to 1. Much like in the pananab conflict. However this time their enemies were a little more of a match..at least to pre refit techologies. Ubecht fields shimmered in and out lending an air of constant red/blue shift as the craft moved through space, they glowed fiercely with the DEM powered phased armour fully activated, and PBS shield systems danced around in random patterns, hoping to intercept any surprise attacks.
The carriers started to move much slower then the assault oriented einhander destroyers, and zweihander battle ships. The zweihanders of course led the flotillas to their targets, after all the first threat to be neutralised had to be the miehmish forces. They could not be allowed to exist in the same area of space as divine tannelornian forces.
Almost as soon as the tannelornian fleet started to move, spreading out in to a formation that was hundreds of thousands of kilometers wide, the new mark III omega pattern Morgenraetes started to launch. The high maneuver frames exited their launch bays rapidly accelerating thanks to the Ubecht space time compression catapult systems, and their own built in Ubecht fields. Gaining enough speed to range far ahead of the assault flotillas the first wave of Morgenraetes switched from interceptor/high speed mode, to high maneuver/battloid configuration.
The new 'raetes were protected by a ubecht field, allowing them to move a few centiseconds faster, or slow time to avoid heavy impacts all with a simple reflex.
The armada was being lead by the P and U variant einhanders. This formation headed directly towards the left flank of the TFU assault, lead by 6 of the massive and powerful zweihander dreadnoughts. Behind them came the supporting loengren based zweihanders, in detachments of 2 and 3 as well as the X variant, utilising a tri Xaser turret.
All of the vessels utilised the improved shark hunter killer missile, but none more so then the Grand army of the prefecture bad-hertzfeldt assault ships.
They started to launch waves of Faust superiority fighters, much lower technology then the morgenraete III, they were still fast, agile and carried an impressive payload of missiles, as well as two Xaser weapons in articulated booms located under the "nose". The rest of the fighters were held in reserve.
Still 7500 faust superiority fighters and almost 5 000 of the mark III omega morgenraetes were headed directly towards the TFU's left flank.
Behind the first assault group, and the 1st support group the carriers and Bad-hertfeldts waited for the signal to move forward. The bad-hertzfeldts were primarily armed with close range kinetic C frac weaponry. However as a nod to their defensive roles, they were allowed to be equipped with powerful missile batteries, utilising a much larger version of the bloodhound missile system utilised in the new 'raetes. Controlled by a semi intelligent and independent bio-com unit, these missile-drones could follow commands, and could be retrieved.
After all the primary armament of the new missile was a 2 gigaton bomb pumped graser, which fired first from the drone itself, then detonating sending a close ranged lance of cosmic destructive force in to the enemy vessel.
Of course this was the primary long ranged armament of a bad-hertzfeldt, and was undoubtedly the highest tech piece of equipment aside from an underpowered ubecht field and ubecht cannons mounted in turrets along the bulky 1 kilometer assault ships frame. The bad-hertzfeldt's started to launch not only the new bloodhounds, 400 of them in the first volley..but also start to launch verder verder assault dropships in their hundreds. Each of them carried many of the new replicant-warriors of the GAP to their destination..the seaquestian colony.
As the fighters and missiles let fly, the Naval vessels of Tannelorn let fly with their own missiles. Still million of kilometers away, the missiles launched with urenbecht catapult assist, raced towards the enemy fleet. Thousands of anti matter warhead missiles raced towards the enemy, ruthlessly tracking the "blood scent" of the TFU vessels.
The tannelornian fleet was going to hit the left flank of the TFU assault harder then any TFU fleet had likely been hit. The tannelornian vessels in the lead were moving incredibly fast, utilising some of the finest and most destructive energy weapons in the galaxy. However the Ubecht cannon itself was perhaps the most frightening weapon mounted on a tannelornian vessel.
The spinal ubecht weapon fired a 5 ton slug at over half the speed of light down a space time conduit which latched on to enemy vessels, following them wherever they move, only limited by the range of the field itself. It could also be dumb fired to an extent..the shell appearing only a few scant hundreds of kilometers away from the enemy, impacting in far less then a second..and requiring almost no lead time.
When the shell impacted with shielding or matter, it created in impact that was 22 gigatons in scope. Needless to say in the testing phase impacts against vessels, even shielded ones tended to net in the enemy vessel breaking apart and transforming in to base particles, flying through space at incredible velocities creating an ever expanding corona signifying the death of an enemy vessel.
Recently in an action against the divine dragon, a moon sized battle fortress partially completed over mars, the Ubecht weapon took down the might shield generators in one shot, and crippled the station itself. Combined with the fact that other nations started to attack the menace that threatened Tannelorns closest ally, Aumans capital city..and it was safe to assume that the ubecht, though slow firing..was perhaps the deadliest c-frac in known space. And the Tannelornian captains were eager to test the comparitively short ranged [600 000 km] weapon against the miehmish battle moon.
After all the first battle moon to attempt to face a Tannelornian flotilla armed with loengren and ubecht weapons, didnt end well for the near stationary monstrosity..and the reductor fields of the Tannelornian ships let them sit at long range, dodging enemy fire with ease while meting out incredible punishment in return.
A communication was sent immediately to the seaquestian naval command.
Seaquestian forces, submit to tannelornian command during the coming battle, and proceed to form your forces along our right flank, report to us for further orders and prepare for the arrival of Tannelornian ground forces to assist in the likely and impending invasion of your world. We shall show these invaders hell before they take one step on Pocket [translation: cluster] soil.
May the divine guide our weapons, and steady our charge. Fire at will. Leave the miehmish to us.

(ooc: Im ignoring that post for now and seaquest if you have an issue with that take it up in the OOC thread and Ill explain to you why I am ignoring it along with help of other players so you get the point)
The Commander of the fleet stood on the bridge, he looked out of the large window like port in front of the bridge, his hands stiffly behind him as a wave of anger and hate for these arrogant fools went over his body, his mind was a afloat with sourness and bitterness he could not conceive of any one he hated to much as these arrogant people.
He grinned with a fake expression on his face his mind wandering off slightly from the battle before hand in a split second of fantasia about the Union and home, his slightly demented mind suddenly snapped in to focus, his body was still shimmering in the light emanating from the sun as the ships moved in to medium to close range.
With an aggressive sour note of hate the commander spoke out against the sequatrians saying “all ships fire on these pitiful ants, all fighters launch and all hidden light ships star hit and run raids..”
He grinned his smile growing psychotically wider as he watched along, the large ships turrets swiveled along, swinging in to targeting positions.
The commander opened his eyes and focused avidly and blankly on what the federal ships were doing.
Suddenly a massive torrent of fire flew out from recoiling turrets beam cannons and emitters, singularity accelerators launched black holes in screaming trails of blue and black at enemy capital ships, thousands of them flew from the fleet, temporal disruptors missiles and several other beam weapons flew behind them… singularity torpedoes lunched one after another in a rapid motion as gattling tubes lit up with the passion of death.
The entire fleet had now opened up in what would be a hellish torrent of hot brim stone, colors of death raced forth in rapid motions, smaller ships came up and out flanked the enemy, there main guns and smaller weapons firing on the larger and smaller ships.
Singularity mines were lunched in front of oncoming large craft as smaller ships whooshed across the fields of massive fire coming from federal ships, screaming streams of color filled the dark shimmering void as the masses of ships fired there weapons..
They ominously floated firing mass torrents of fire targeting mainly engine cores shields and weapons. The smaller ships targeted sensors, and shot at the rear of the fire bat class ships firing amour/ shield piercing missiles.
The commander stood in watch smiling and grinning these fools had underestimated the power of the United states, already tens of teratons upon tens teratons were flying out in missile fire power, phase transit cannons targeted huge capital ships and planetary emplacements at a lower power setting so it would not take time to charge or it would not destroy the planet.
Some of the larger ships fired these spinal mount cannons, huge thick beams raced towards huge enemy capital ships and planetary emplacements.
SF-22’s flew out of Aircraft decks, and shimmered in to the fabric of space and time cloaking and hiding.. SF-16’S flanked and supported capital ships as they deployed point defense drones, and missile drones… SF-35s streamed towards enemy positions cloaking as the SF-22’s did, suddenly the entire squadron of SF-35’s unleashed a torrent of missile and anti matter rail fire, appearing for a split second as they shot all of there might colorful brim stone torrent of hell fire upon the enemy.
The lead pilot was emotionless and blank he only had a hate for the enemy at that point, he had thoughts of fighting for freedom and honor, and could not think of a better way to than to destroy enemy ships, anti capital ships singularity projectiles flew from the fighters as there bodies shimmered in a glow in to the fabric of space time, they flew at amazing speeds in to bombing runs..
The fleet began to flank enemy positions, from ahead, from behind, from the top, and from side to side, all unleashing a deathly torrent of hell upon them.
The commander and crew watched as the glorious colors lit up the dark once lifeless void of space, his mind was filled with the old platuides of glory and honor, a hint psychotic demented rage filled him, his body shimmered and shivered, his face lighten by the light of fire, its toned futures caressed by the shadows. Once more it had begun…. This time they would win…

ooc: I'm reposting this one so it now actually applies because you didn't shoot the sun so that post would make no sense. It's been edited to apply.
IC:
The massive amounts of energy discharges, transmission signals, and engine output signatures was all picked up by the attack force drifting in hyperspace. A moon had been destroyed and it looks like the sun was the next target. "Admiral, it looks grim. They appear to be vastly outnumbered. Reports have the Fedral fleet at about 4000 vessels."
Wakapale sighed as she sunk back into her chair. "Let's see if we can even the odds before our ships even enter. I don't want any of them to get out of this system alive. Prepare our first assault. Do you remember the strategy Cheif?"
"Yes ma'am."
"Alright. Prepare first volley."
Several flashes of light appeared above, behind, below, to the sides, infront, and among the Union's fleet. The signal that the fabric of space and existance was to ripped apart and show the swirling mist of Hyperspace. From it's depths, floods of mobile mines and torpedoes swarmed out. The projectiles numbered in the hundreds of thousands with many of them programmed to target the larger ships. More and more tears were opened on top of Union ships.

The con officer looked at his sensor station, the bar swept around and around a huge 3D grid detecting a mass of projectiles and ships..
The commander looked at it and glared, the abh were back he growled a bit his lips twitching with anger, his mind racing on the idea of total supremacy over the sector.
He looked over to the tactical officer and mumbled saying “put point defense drones in position I want small ships to launch singularity mines…. I want them put in front of the fleet, cloak them to…”
He grinned a bit , the fleets ships began launching point defense drones to intercept the oncoming missiles, as well as extending a shadow field, reducing the fleets signatures by 80%..
The fleet had also established an FTLi field around it self… the shadow system provided false information to any guidance sensors on missiles or torpedoes.
Small ships began placing cloaked singularity mines, as long range guided singularity missile fire spewed out from the ominously floating assaulting fleet.

"Admiral, as per your orders all torpedoes and mines were largely targeted for their capital ships while opening jump points among and within their ships. We are now preparing to make our first attack run."
Wakapale stood up and drew her command saber. "All flankers on me. Prepare to jump and attack their smaller ships."
The communications officer whirled around in her chair. "Ma'am. The Union ships have just put up an FTLi field to prohibit our entry."
She sighed and sat back down. "Fine. Stay here for a while and see what can be done."

The activities in the cluster were not lost apon the far-flung land of No Endorse. Signals reached out across the void, embrasing the massive sensor arrays of Haven and Sanctuary, transmitting the progress of the battle.
The significance of The Fedral Union's moves was quite apparent, and a small detatchment of vessels was scrambled. The small force, a mere fifty ships, was sent at maximum speed towards the conflict. They were prepared to do their duty. To protect the greater alliance, they would give their lives if necessary. The system would not fall to The Fedral Union, regardless of the cost. Even if the Inferno was removed from the Federation, they would march onwards to complete their grizzly work.
A signal was fired at the system, unencrypted to ensure reception. A copy was also tightbeamed to Altera to ensure reception. This system would be purged unto nothingness.
Seaquestian colonyworld, you have this warning. Evacuate now. When we arrive, we shall destroy what The Fedral Union seeks to control, the moon that contains wealth untold. We shall make this system completly unwanted by the Union. All vessels in the vicinity are advised to leave, we are told that the moon has quite an explosive personality.
If you choose to stay, or are unable to leave, may the very Gods have mercy apon your souls.

Alteran Battlestation, the Cluster Core
The powerful transmitters of the Alteran battlestation transmitted a signal on several frequencies, with a very simple message:
You have committed an act of trespass. We do not fear you. Your rediculous fleet concentration scares nobody. Leave the Alteran cluster holdings, or learn that massed formations are just as vulnerable as single ships. If you destroy this station, this colony, you will pay dearly, a thousand fold.
If you do not leave within one hour we will deactivate the containment on our Arcturus generators, which will annihilate the system and anything in it.
[Please note that I mean the area that TFU is trying to stage his invasion from, NOT the entire Cluster.]

We currently are covering the planet of Belle Terre while evacuation is completed. While our current position may not give us an as easy time hitting targets, we can still send hail storms of energy weapon fire, torps, and missles in their general direction.
So, sorry, but we can't leave our current positions.
Also, be aware, contingency plans are in place to deprive the Union forces of what they came here for in the first place if we should losse the fight for the Belle Terre star system.

Now, speaking only as Tannelorn's closest ally and observer of Vascilian technology...I can say in all certainty that with Tannelorn's fleet dispositions in the cluster and the nature of Vascilia FTL that his force projection capability in that part of space is nearly unlimited. The downside of Vascilian space fold drives is their instability...they can go boom, and big. Of course, it doesn't happen often and it's a rarity these days...well, anyway...
Vascilian FLT is point-to-point instantaneous transmission...like Battlestar Galactica or Robotech, for example. That doesn't give much time to detect incoming warships. We chose this method because we thought it was coolest, not because it gave any real advantage in combat.
Tannelorn has alot of ships 'round these parts. Probably placed in strategically valuable systems that allow them to jump into a trouble spot very quickly. We may totally underestimate you, TFU, but you still have no clue how Tannelorn's technology works either. The main strength of Vascilian and Tannelornian fleet doctrine is the ability to move a fleet to a hotspot quickly...apparently our FTL utilize a form of ass-space technology that you are not familiar with.

Lord Namtar

Even small empires seek opportunities to expand. Searching for the most valuable of the gems that covered the black canvas of the universe. It was on one of these missions for empirical expansion, that a simple Goa'uld probe noted a flurry of activity from normally unimportant region of space.
Explosions dancing about the infinite void as great warships darted about, hoping to avoid a similar fate.
The probe reported this information back to several Ha'taks nearby. They were exploring several systems that were reported promising for colonization.
"Lord Y'ar'ch, the probe has sent use back the requested information. Apparently a nation who is allied to our own through the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances is under attack by an entire fleet of powerful ships. It is a foregone conclusion as to who will come away the victor, My Lord." The Jaffa at the Pel'tak said, a sense of indifference perturbing his voice.
"Very well. Namtar has made it clear, we shall assist them in any way possible. Set course for the system." The gaunt Y'ar'ch responded as he left the command chair; his black silken robes with a trim of bright garnet flowed over the dais like a calm sea as he proceeded. His tan skin and jet-black shortcut hair shone off The Hell Hound of Namtar was etched with onyx into the silver mail underneath. The tight fitting Armour made Y'ar'ch appear taller and more slender than he truly was, like a young tree within a dense forest.
"Warn them we are coming, they may open fire upon us if we drop in with no warning; we're not the only Goa'uld in this galaxy." He said as the cerulean spheres incised into his finely sculpted face transfixed themselves onto the raging battle displayed on the view screen.
The Ha'taks powered up their mighty shields as they spilled into hyperspace. Their golden pyramids shimmered with the energies of the blue realm.
As soon as they left the confines of reality, they emerged again near the planet of their embattled ally. Death Gliders soared from their hanger bays, fighting to drive off the enemy’s own strike craft and acting as a point defense for their beleaguered allies.
The Ha'taks themselves unleashed of fury of scintillating gold towards the Fedral forces, the pyres of fire screaming silently through the void clawed to embrace them in their deceptively beautiful light.

***Loyal Warrior: Zweihander class dreadnought***
Lord Altansel looked over the battle as he paced across his bridge. His fine elven features in a snarl of anger as he looked at the massive fleet of vessels fighting his and the smaller fleets here to assist the seaquestians. However this was no longer simply a matter of seaquests war with the fedral union..by endangering the cluster TFU had found itself at war with Tannelorn.
However there was the matter of no endorse and his attempts to not only enter what was essentially a matter of cluster jurisdiction..but were threatening to destroy a world..this could not be allowed. Cluster residents could win this battle..the council would have to mobilise all available forces.
A rather short, if polite transmission was sent back.
"No endorse forces, you shall decline from entering the cluster, and most certainly shall not destroy the moon in question. Refrain from action until the battle is over when you can assist in S&R operations."
A large relief fleet was being prepared in Tannelorn. Likely half the fleet would come to assist the expeditionary forces. Space lord Abarrakh had requested more ships for the fleet, primarily carriers and destroyers, but their requests had been denied. They had to make due with what they had, they could manufacture, and they could maintain. Of course reinforcements and aid from Tannelorn could always be counted on..some days it wasnt soon enough.
And today was such a day. Even with all the experience gained in the 7 years of the secession war, even with all of the new and highly advanced, almost magical technologies granted to the loyal knights of the navy..there were simply too many for them to hold off. However with all of the allied ships in the system..there was a good chance of victory..if only they would listen to his experience.
This was unlikely. As he looked across the bridge of his ship at the battle being fought in the distance, and the stars under his feet as he stepped across the walkway, one would think in to open space, if not for the small squares of holopicts that formed under his feet as he stood on the massive viewscreen and HUD that made up the entirety of the bridge, giving him a 360 degree view of the battlefield.
The first wave of missiles was streaking in, about to impact the enemy forces, the relentless bio-com units streaking towards their prey, the largest capital ships they could hunt. The 'raetes and fausts still ranged ahead of the main fleet. He moved to the center of the bridge, the giant holo globe depicting the entire battlefield as the DEM sensors brought back every concievable piece of information, gravitic lenses scanning the center field to find anything attempting to cloak or hide.
***The battle continues***
In response to the mines the fleet suddenly turned even sharper left, bringing their vectors around to about 1 million kilometers away from the left flank of the fleet. A second wave of missiles was launched now as the ships started to maneuver faster then any ship their size had a right too, the ubecht fields at full power as the vessels chose their targets.
The first wave battle groups fired their weapons at extreme range. Massive loengrens..their 60 foot diameter focusing lenses made the grasers incredibly powerful, 10 second long beams capable of incinerating anything in their path started towards their targets, vectoring and angling the beam to eliminate any possibility of a full dodge, alongside them the pulsar turret armed Einhanders let loose with a full powered salvo of deadly energy beams, 1000's of beams of coruscating energy flew towards the enemy fleet, once again targeting the larger capital ships as well as the smaller frigates. The entire fleet let fly with more missiles, targetting anything within reach..letting loose in a glorious swarm of over 1000, intelligent high powered anti cap ship missiles.
The fleet itself was moving at over 35% the speed of light now, and as the secondary support formations opened fire, letting loose with their massive loengren cannons against the enemy, each detachment of three vessels targetting but one ship each, guaranteeing the enemy will take horrendous damage.
Exactly ten seconds later, as the loengrens were finished their beam cycle, Altansel ordered to fleet to activate Ubecht catapults on his mark. The ordnance had let fly, and the fighters were already veering off as the Tannelornian ships seemingly disappeared, slipping in to the space time conduit that was the Urenbecht catapult, capable of allowing ships to travel safely insystem at nearly the speed of light...of course the space time conduits could collapse, however the distance between vessels meant that no large explosions could take out more then one vessel.
As well the ubecht catapults allowed the Tannelornian ships to travel in relative safety past the main lines of the enemy fleet. Of course this could not be maintained forever, calculating any form of maneuver such as this at will was nigh impossible, and in the heat of battle it would be impossible.
No ship was capable of making multiple tactical jumps to avoid enemy fire, one perhaps, before battle was joined but not after. And the Tannelornians were using every opportunity they had to slow this aggressive fleet..all they needed was to buy time for the reinforcements to arrive.
ooc Ubecht is not FTL, its a form of vector trap. Tannelornian missiles have biological computers and are not standard electronics immune to EMW, as are Tannelornian sensors DEM based, dimensional tech.
Gravitic lenses can look past gravity wells to see whats behind it. It works on our own Space time compression stealth tech as well. Cap ship mounted only, relayed information through C3 systems.

(ooc I have an FTLI field around my fleet.)
Point defense drones and AMMD jumped in to action, the floated over like little machines of death, firing micro missiles and beams towards incoming missiles..
The commander was on the bridge of the ship, the con officer had heard the signal from an unknown source about the moon, he wanted to exploit it but not just yet a wave of irritation passed through his mind, he turned his toned grey haired head over to the tactical officer, his hands stiffly behind him. He gave an order “all available ships fire on those scum that dare to intervene on us..” his lips twitched as they slightly grinned with a psychotic hint of madness, his brain was already in deep though, deep thought of how this would end, would he have to destroy that moon? Or would he be able to take out these annoying fleets… who know, he certainly wanted to take the system, but he would not go down with out a fight, his hands fluidly went from behind him and crossed over, as he looked out of the port in to the dark shimmering void of space, watching as several smaller ships got struck by missiles and flaming pieces of hull and debris float in there wake.
Battle carriers swiveled there turrets on these new capital ships that appeared, the turrets charged up with ferocity, the commander on the chip watched, suddenly half of the fleet let lose a torrent of fire on these ships thousands upon thousands of singularity cannons temporal disruptors and singularity torpedoes and space cruise missiles flew out of the ominously floating federal fleet.
Screeching bolts of blue, white, black, orange, and red fire filled the dark shimmering void of lifeless space, as turrets recoiled again and again firing colorful streaks of energy.
SF-22 Fighters cloaked and de cloaked launching there temporal displacement missiles, firing there temporal disruptors, bolts of white/blue fire flew from there nose as they maneuvered around, there thrusters glowing light white as they quickly sped and bolted around, shooting off bolts and streams of fire as they cloaked back in to the fabric of space and time.
Capital ships began suppression fire on these new ships, firing rapid pulses and beams the void filling with light.

The Chronosians had been watching proceedings with a mixture of amusement and banal curiosity. The Federal fleet had proved to be a most useful instrument for the incitement of war and confusion; evne now; mistakes aside, they were pushing on in a method remaniscent of the art of death by a thousand cuts. As such, a general order had been given forth, by which at least 500 Chronosian vessels; headed by one Lord Radu Vykos; Primarch of the Rabid Seraphim onboard the Metamorphoses had been dispatched to watch the proceedings from the Chronosian Cluster holdings.
He had decided that soon; once all preparations were made; the Chronosians would ride to aid their old allies; and the stars themselves would hide. The Universe itself would burn in Chronosian fury. And all who beheld it would tremble.

The devestating anti-fleet fire from the Apocolyptic Warp Cannons of the Obsidians continued to bombard the Federal navy while the SeaQuestian ships tightened their formation with the O.W.P.s, O.D.P.s, and battlstations orbiting Belle Terre.
All the while, the O.D.P.s fired their phasers and disrupters (depending on which of the two types it was) and the occasional Mark VI O.W.P. fired a full power blast from the kilometer long Axial Super Laser at its core towards the Federal ships. With ten Z.P.M.s powering each shot, the Mark VIs carried the fire power of an Eclipse S.S.D., minimum.
As for the Union fighters, they were met with a hail storm of dozens of missiles and torpedoes launched from three of the Indepences. This was due to the limited number of launchers carried by the giant craft, but the fact that they had millions, if not billions, more stored inside their great hanger, instead of fighters or shuttles, easily counter-balanced this flaw. The other four sent in wave upon wave of fighters. The massive ships could easily carry many thousand of fighters each, minimum.

Deep within T-Space, the ships gathered. The Infiltrator class cruisers were busy with their Triple-S ships launched and positioned, extending their sensor array and peering down from the 7th Dimension into Real Space. They were carefully scanning everything from the fleet ships, planetary defenses, unusual readings from a “certain” moon, and even the tell-tale signs of incoming traffic through the local gateway.
The ships formed a rough sphere around the entire battlefield. The positions of the ships did by no means eliminate the sensors from looking away from the battle. They would easily detect incoming sources.
The captains had their orders. They were to get into position and just observe and report, for now.

The Tannelornian ships exited their ubecht fields, of the 200 total ships that slipped in to the urenbecht constructed pocket universe only 197 left. Several of the GAP bad-hertzfelds were too slow to avoid the singularities, and though anything short of a direct hit wouldnt release enough tidal stresses to harm a ship protected by a ubecht field or even a half decent grav impeller..it was enough to collapse the space time conduit of the urenbecht catapult.
***Loyal Warrior: Zweihander class dreadnought***
"Lord Altansel, we are detecting incoming ships..they appear to be the same ships that sent out the message to abandon the system." one of the armsmen stated rather flatly. The analysis was finished and a pict of the seaquestian moon came up on a hololithic display directly in front of the lord.
He examined it for some time, examing the fleet that was on its way, it appeared to be at least 3 flotillas by tannelornian standards. Immediately he commanded his own personal flotilla, to move to intercept positions as well as the 2nd assault flotilla. 24 vessels and 2000 morgenraetes were ready for the enemy if they would not listen to reason. They moved far away from the rear of the TFU fleet, gaining speed as they went preparing to meet the newcomers before they made it anywhere near the planet.
"Send out a transmission to the TFU fleet, tell them to hold their fire against us we are intercepting incoming forces, and no longer are able to comply with the cluster compact in assisting SQ forces."
Lord Altansel smiled. "Explain kindly to them that this world is no longer under seaquests control, and that to attack this world is to attack the cluster compact itself. Once all seaquestian forces have fled the system have their commander prepare for a meeting." Lord Altansel paced across the bridge rather briskly then turned.
"Order the seaquest forces to retreat, all GAP vessels proceed to the planets surface to take control of existing facilities. Explain to them calmly that this is the best way to end this conflict without any more bloodshed..and tell them to do it fast." he looked around him. Behind him a massive battle raged around the planets surface, his own forces had not engaged the enemy long enough to do more then a bit of damage..especially at the ranges at which they engaged.
Altansel ordered his crew to fire a loengren blast directly across the bow of the largest No endorse vessel. The massive 3 gigaton bomb pumped graser beam, the same energy released in a supernova, or a black holes energy burst shot across the space between the two fleet groups.
The massive shipkiller weapon's long range shot was a simple warning. The Tannelornian vessels would not allow the NE vessels any closer without a stiff fight.
***Miehmish battle moon***
Altansel looked across the bridge. The rest of his armada was headed towards the Miehmish vessel. Honour dictated they could no longer engage the TFU forces under even the possibility of SQ's involvement in the breach of the only rule to be enforced amongst those in the Cluster.
However Tannelorn was still at war with the Miehmish..and after action reports against the moon sized divine dragon over mars had many Tannelornian ship's gunnery officers wishing to test the Ubecht weapons at full power against such a target.
The divine dragon was protected by one of the most advanced shielding systems that had ever been fielded in Sol. When the britmattian empire had invaded the atheists reality, a similar smaller shield had been used to defend their final city from invasion. It took weeks for the allied forces to bring the shield down.
However of course, this was moot. Ubecht catapults could latch directly on to the slow moving vessel, and allow their ferocious 22 gigaton impacts, capable of splitting moons in half with a single shot to tear holes straight through the massive frame. Of course a great deal of the superstructure was transformed in to basic particles due to the intense kinetic forces unleashed when the 5 ton "lead" or really, a clever combination of the base 4 isotopes of lead slammed in to the vessel at 57% the speed of light.
Needless to say 70 ships armed with Urenbecht cannons would not have much trouble dismantling the moon sized vessel. Not much trouble at all considering the level of Technology the miehmish showed in their last encounter, not a few scant months earlier.

"Sir, I am picking up extensive Gate activity on the planet."
"Let me see the readings. It appears they are evacuating the planet or bringing materials in. Do an Energy Flow Analysis on the gate sites. That should tell us if they are coming or leaving."
"It seems they are leaving. The mass signatures are passing from this end to the other."
"Run a full analysis of their gate system."
"Yes Sir, also we are getting strange readings from the moon. There are energy fluctuations that are unusual but not in any danger ranges. They are out of place and that is what made them noticeable."
"Have The Clairvoyant concentrate their sensors on the moon. I want to know the location of every pebble."
"Relaying orders Sir. There is an incoming message. It is not coded."
"Source of the message?"
"Outside the Cluster."
"Play it for me."
"Check the moon for any sort of explosives and make sure we find out before anything happens."
"Yes Sir, I am detecting a reply message but it is garbled somehow."
"Can you clean itup?"
"No, it has been compromised too much and is lost."

"Cap'n! Scouts are pickin up Cluster Police transponders on their actives!"
"Throw it on the main holo-projector."
A three-dimensional rendering of the system appered in the center of the crowded bridge. No Endorse was obviously expected. However, there was still time to react. The Captain shouted across the bridge to his communications officer.
"Open a secure channel and tell the four Ballistas under Captain Wind to hold back, along with the eight Aardarks from group Point. They are to be folded under Wind's command and enter the system exactly five to ten minutes after us. Orders are to open fire on the moon regardless of casualties. All other vessels carry on, with Point folded into Main."
The twelve vessels in question pulled out of hyper and ensured that they were beyond sensor range and waited, charging their jump drives for a sprint into the system. The remaining thirty-eight, however, continued on. They would arrive shortly, and were now passing into easy detection range.
One of the communications officers noticed their entry into sensor range and called out to the rest of the fleet across a lightly encrypted communications channel. It could easily be decrypted by the time the fleet entered the area.
Welcome to the Cluster boys! Glad you could all be with us today. As we enter the cluster, please return your seatbacks and tray tables to their upright and locked positions, and return any girly mags to their holders. Rules are as follows: take no prisoners, and give none. This ends when we are all in the hands of the Forgemaster one way or another. Let's choose the terms ourselves, and ensure that we'll be remembered in song forever more! In short, LET'S GIVE 'EM HELLS!
As this transmission was recieved by all, the navigator looked towards the commander of the fleet. "Just a few minutes Cap'n."

A message was sent towards the incoming NE ships:
We request that you hold. There may some vague legal backing to Tannelorn's not allowing you to enter this conflict. Something about keeping it in-Cluster only.
A response message was sent to the Tannelorns:
One thing you should know is that SeaQuestians never retreat without good reason. We still stand guard over our planet as the last five-hundred colonists evacuate.
Also, I have to recommed against you sending ground forces down. There are a few surprises set up that you could trip as they are all automatic. We wouldn't want to see that happen.
Apologies, but we are unable to comply.
IC: The Obsidians locked on to the Union navy's flagship with their main cannons. With that much fire-power pointed at a lone ship, it was a forgone conclusion that it would be destroyed if the massive anti-fleet weapons were fired.
A simple message was sent un-coded to the Federal flagship:
We have you targeted. If you value your life, you will surrender now.
OOC: TFU, I've been shooting at you this whole time, with disrupters, phasers, Axial Super Lasers, and the Obsidians' Apocolyptic Warp Cannons. So, I expect to see a VERY large chunk of destroyed ships from my weapons alone.

The Fortress faded into Real Space from the deep reaches of K-Space. The energy crackled down the lengths of the barrels and arced to the gothic arms above and below the barrels. Along side the Fortress The Asmodeus shone in the sunlight. The Planet Killer glistened in the approaching twilight as the sun set behind Belle Terre. Warp energy crackled crimson along its entire length as the weapons came to life. Around them the ships that were holding position within T-Space began to fade into Real Space.
The purple glow of Dimensional Shielding lit up the night sky of Belle Terre. The remaining citizens would look up in wonder of why the night sky was glowing purple.
D’Rant was aboard the Fortress in the Council Chambers along with Tannelorn, Chronosia, WaterHelper, and the Communistic Gvmt Council Members.
“Place a Dimensional Bubble around the planet and one around the moon. If they attempt to blow it, there will be no planetary damage. The bubble will also block their gate technology so anyone left down there would be trapped.”
The intercom buzzed as the order was accepted.
He then opened a channel to all ships in the area.
Attention all ships

"Very good. Can't have out advanced tech falling into the wrong hands now."
"How are Fat Man and Little Boy?"
"Fully loaded and ready for launch. Once those modified Skipper Missiles are launched, they won't know what hit them."
"Heh, now to deal with our latest univited guests. Arm the Isolytic Burst charges."
"Aye, sir. Sending the arming codes now. When should we detonate the warheads?"
"At the first instant of them attacking us. If they want a war, we'll give them one."
"Understood, sir."
"Prep the Jovian Barrier. I won't all ships inside its projected radius before we throw the switch."
"Aye, sir. Transmitting new formation to the fleet now."
"Open a channel to all ships in the system, ours and everyone elses."
"Aye, sir."
Balroggan craft, you will back away from the Quake Moon immediately. Do not force my hand with any further acts of war. While you may be the older nation, you will find we SeaQuestians fight with a tenacity and ferociousness that will astound you. We will not give you the privilage and distinction of being the ones to destroy the Quake Moon. That right belongs to us as the moon belongs to us. Now, leave our space, or do we have to file a complaint with Waterhelper?
"Close channel."
"Aye, sir."
"Are our ships in position?"
"Yes, sir. All craft are within the project Jovian Barrier boundaries."
"Damn! I never thought I would have to use the prototype of the reverse engineered tech we found at Nirai Kanai like this."
"We knew it would have to come to this one day, sir. We can only hope that our scientists and engineers got things right."
"Agreed. For all we know, it could blow up in our faces. Speaking of which, activate the Quantum Resonator and begin the countdown for the clean-up charges."
"Aye, sir."
"Bring the Jovian Barrier prototype on-line and transfer control to my console."
"Yes, sir."
People hurried in and out of the chamber deep inside the Obsidian designated as the Belle Terre Defense Command. Located inside one of the great station's hangers, was the Jovian Barrier prototype that was reverse engineered from a super-shield technology discovered on Nirai Kanai. Originally intended to seal off the Quake Moon, it would now be used for a far different purposes. It had been hooked directly to the Obsidian's power core and to several banks containing a total of fifty Zero-Point Modules that had been brought in and set to one side.

The roar of warp energy filled the void as the 500 Chronosian vessels that had been deployed to the Cluster from preperations, finally arrived at this particular part of it. Weapons readied and armed; crackling and hissing amidst the uncertain void; following close to the immense Balroggan structure. Shields gleamed in the abyss, the surface of the vessels still gleaming with warp-enery; as a booming voice began to speak.

Should you act upon our soverign allies; we shall hunt you; till the ends of the universe. The Tannelornian fleet turned once again in the midst of battle, this time the units that were nearest to the fray turned upon the seaquestian vessels surrounding the planet. Of course at this range it would be truly meaningless to fire c-fracs..missiles and energy weapons were still very effective at 1 million kilometers or so.
The GAP ships however had been moving against the Seaquestian world for some time. The fire from the Seaquestian ships marked the hulls when it managed to get past the PBS screens, boring holes and ripping off pieces of Armour plate..but they also fired back. They engaged the seaquestians with Bloodhound missiles at extreme range, the bio-mech intelligent missiles sought out the most worthy prey their tactical cogitator could find, when approaching to a distance of 300 000 kilometers..they opened fire..Massive 2 gigaton graser bolts, the energy released in the death of stars arched towards the enemy ships. At this range only the missile system itself missing would deny them a hit.
For all of the seaquestians bluster their vessels truly were not that advanced. Slow, ungainly utilising simple shielding systems and underpowered weaponry they were not truly a threat to tannelornian vessels. Though when the GAP ships closed to their preffered ranges things would change.
However GAP ships were built to be cheap, durable and easy to manufacture. They were for use by the civilian caste of Tannelorn, to transport the replicant soldiers that would defend them to war, and to provide heavily armed patrols for Tannelornian rocks and worlds.
From behind them flights of far smaller missiles, Antimatter tipped with a charge of over 5 gigatons of force flew past, shark Bio-com targetting units locking on to the enemy vessels "blood scent" and flew at them mercilessly targetting, tracking and attacking the nearest vessels to them.
The Tannelornian ships themselves advanced quickly on the seaquestians, they were not utilising the full potential of the Ubecht field to attack as quickly as possible, and devastate their fleet in a lightning strike. They fully intended to get in to a close range firefight, where the new pulsar cannons, triple X rays and ubeck turrets could do horrendous damage.
However the ships crews were most eager to fire their Ubecht cannons upon enemy vessels. In tests and conflict the weapon proved capable of deconstructing a target to its base items by the sheer force of the impact. At 57% c, weighing 5 tons and made of a synthesised material cleverly combining the base 4 isotopes of lead, it was a devastating weapon.
However being able to fire the weapon using a Ubecht catapult essentially gave the weapon a barrel length of several hundred thousand kilometers.
The space time compression field could create a vector trap capable of hurling the shell out in to real space at a point almost 600 000 km away, and could in fact latch on to enemy ship hulls, effortlessly through shields.
The weapon had spent a fair bit of time in development, but already it had proven its worth against the Divine dragon and The Atheist reality fleet.
The Seaquestians were facing a fleet honed in the fires of battle for hundreds of years, and armed with technology the likes of which could only be explained by lesser scientists as magic.
Nothing evinced this more then the highly advanced Mk III omega pattern morgenraete high maneuver frames screaming ahead of the TFU and Tannelornian fleets, eager to get at grips with the seaquestians, whose dishonourable actions would show them how Tannelorn responded to wrong hearted, wicked deeds...

There are no betters or inferiors here. Only equals. We each have control of 1/20th of the entire Cluster, no more and no less. With the exception of the Inferno and Abh forces of course. But, that would be on a different power scale that's not the internal Cluster one.
As for the matter of standing down, we will hold fire for now. However, we will keep our defensive system's on-line and our weapons active in case we are fired upon.
In the matter of surrender, not going to happen. We're willing to have a diplomatic exchange where we can all come out on top. We would have offered the Union (OOC: Speaking of which, where did he go? He's still got to post the losses from all the fire and messages sent his way) the same, but they came in shooting and gave us no choice but to return fire.

You will surrender now; even your allies have bowed to our will; have respected our power. If you do not surrender, then it is most likely that you shall be utterly obliterated. Tell us, child. Is that really what you wish?

No; we will settle this, here and now. You will stand down as the losing party in this conflict. You are outnumbered; out-gunned; and most certainly not our equals. We are the grandest of humanity; that which has been perfected and molded over time. We follow the warplight of the Emperor. We are the warriors of his will; and we shall not resort to bandying about words with forked tongued fools like yourselves.
You will surrender now; even your allies have bowed to our will; have respected our power. If you do not surrender, then it is most likely that you shall be utterly obliterated. Tell us, child. Is that really what you wish?
Response message:
Tell us. How can a battle be lost when it was stopped in the middle of combat?
We have stood down, but you should know that we SeaQuestians may bend, but we don't break. So, while you may have our respect and acknowledgement of your power, don't expect anything other than the usual greating bows.
We are also not at war with you and have no such plans to enter combat with you. Thus, we have no legal cause that would validate a surrender. We are willing to talk and give concessions to make everyone happy.
Now, as the Federal Union is the only one legally able to demand a surrender, as they are the ones who we were in combat with, how would you feel about letting them make this call on if diplomacy is an option or not?

Do not bandy about talk of laws, worm. You stand before us as a party on the very brink of collapse; anmd all your haughty words cannot change that. You are nothing before the powers here gathered. You have violated the soverignty of the Cluster; you have made such a disasterous mess of things that right now your supposed allies in the GFFA, No Endorse; have began transmitting all the key data nessecary to knowing of this situation. They respect that the Balroggans and ourselves will force a compromise if nessecary.
The Union invaded you; without knowledge of your pathetic moon; without cause to go after it, and so honestly; I would rather have them render you and all your worthless ilk to ashes. This is all that will occur if combat is reinitiated. There can be victory, even if what you consider as combat was stopped. You and your people fleeing like rats from a sinking shi[; like you fled from Botany when the wrath of the True Gods was upon you. As a supposedly elder race you are woefully ignorant of the Universe; of the Immaterium. You may have faced other foes; fled before the furious tide of the Wraith, but before the Imperium you are excrement to be wiped from a boot; ants to be crushed under our heels. We are the chosen of the Gods; and if need be we shall Break you.

Response message:
The SeaQuestian is quite strong and nowhere near collapsing.
As for the soverignty of the Cluster, we did not invite the GFFA members here today. They came their own accord.
And as stated before, we are willing to compromise, in a diplomatic setting.
As for you possibly being the choosen of your Gods, I honestly don't see how that has any affect on current matters. Your religious beliefs don't affect how powerful your guns are.
And we never said we didn't respect you or what you can do.
As for the matter of the Wraith, we have encountered them once (OOC: That was back when you had the Wraith Hiveflee puppet) and never again. If you want to discuss encounters with the Wraith, talk to Gate Builders.
As for Botany, we didn't flee at all. Botany was lost with all hands. We have the black box retrieved from the system's Oort Cloud before the Warp Storm reached it to proove it as well. They went down fighting for their lives as Mini Miehm's unprovoked attack through the Stargate reached its culmination.
We would also rather go down fighting than allow an unfounded surrender to a nation we are not enemies with, nor intend to become enemies with.
Now, while change is a form of entropy and is the only constant in the universe, entropy can't exist without order. Balance must be maintained between Yin and Yang, good and evil, order and chaos, peace and war.
Why fight allowing the Federal Commander to do his job? You will still win in a way, only without having to lift a finger or waste ammo.

The series of messages was interrupted by a singular one from the massive Fortress.
“Hello No Endorse ships. You are welcome to stay and watch the upcoming event. We ask that you concentrate your sensors upon the moon below. We can only do this once so be sure to have the lens caps off your cameras.”
“Afterwards if things work out you can attend a luncheon and have some after dinner drinks. The Fortress will return to Draconus Prime and you are invited to attend. You will have to leave your navy at the edge of the Cluster of course but you will be escorted by Police Vessels both ways.”
There was a pause.
“This next bit is for the SeaQuest government.”
“The Council has determined you have broken your lease by bringing war to the Cluster. For the violation, your lease agreement has been revoked. You are from this moment considered Evicted from the Cluster.”
“It is Moving Day for you.”
“As for the debate over this little moon, you have no right to destroy it. It belongs to The Founder and the Cluster Council.”
“We hold the explicit right to decide its fate, which we have done.”
D’Rant closed the external channel and looked over to the Sequestarian diplomat.
“Well, since you are no longer residents of the Cluster, you are to be considered invaders. You have already started to evacuate your citizens so I am not worrying about them.”
He depressed a button on his armrest.
“Commander, you can begin the warm-up process. We are going to wipe that offensive moon out of existence. You know what to do and have the Authority to continue.”
He again looked up at the ex-ambassador.
“Do you want to watch the pretty fireworks? It might be the last chance you will ever get to see anything again.”
D’Rant issued a mental command to the computer and the screens along one of the walls switched views to show the moon and planet from several different angles. A number of them showed the Fortress with its four massive barrels pointing in compass directions.
Deep within the station, several switched were connected and Space Minus Taps were utilized. The energy flowed from the connection and channeled through the Dimensional Generators. The energies built up to an astounding level and one of the guns began to glow a brilliant purple. Elsewhere within the Fortress, two gateways opened and the power of ray chaos flooded the systems. The Warp Cannons began to charge. The barrel of another of the guns began to glow a sickly red.
The Fortress slowly turned to expose the Warp Cannon to the doomed moon. The Dimensional Bubble expanded to encompass the tip of the barrel and the massive artifact fired. The entire Fortress shuttered and every sensor within 20 light seconds overloaded as the sickly red beam of energy leapt from the barrel. The raw Chaos slithered down to the surface of the moon, dissolving the crust and squirming on its own as if it were a living serpent. The Dimensional Bubble unconnected from the cannon and the Fortress rotated to allow the Dimensional Cannon to have access to the moon.
Below, the sickness settled upon the surface, reared its “head” and dove for the core. The body split and merged as if it were several serpents at once that kept being forced into a single body. The light from the “thing” spread until it was infusing the crystalline core of the lunar surface. Erie red light shone from several of the deeper crater like eyes staring out into space, watching those above who were there to witness its own execution.
It was time for the Dimensional Cannon to take its turn.
The Dimensional Bubble was extended to allow the cannon access to its interior. The edge of the bubble contacted and then enclosed the barrel whose opening could house a dreadnaught. The gun took on a purple glow and the Fortress fired (the bubble disengaged from the barrel immediately after firing although few would have bothered to look). A brilliant flash of energy almost brighter than the star spilled from the cannon as it drove into the moon. The energy beam carried right through the now corrupted core and right outside the other. Purple energy ate away at the edges of the hole through the moon as the redness inside screeched and writhed in agony. The sound somehow carried through both the airless void of space and the dimensional bubble. It rang in everyone’s ears as the moon died below. The last bits of it were being disintegrated by the ravages if the Dimensional Energy consuming the matter at the atomic level and depositing it evenly across the whole dimensional spectrum.
A wormhole appeared where the moon used to be. It was huge and seemed to take the space of the entire Dimensional Bubble. Through the opening, a round object appeared, being towed somehow by several of the Imperial Navy.
An open message was broadcast.
“We have replaced the target moon with another of the same mass and density so as not to afflict the planet below with more troubles. SeaQuest has done enough to this system.”

Unfortunately, nothing happened and the Quake Moon remained (OOC: Stop trying to solve things for others, this thread was between me and TFU, and no one else). Both Obsidians had fired their Apocolyptic Warp Cannons and intercepted the Balroggan shot in mid-flight.
Transmitted to the Balroggans as all SeaQuestian ships and stations retargeted the Balroggan craft:
Bull! We have violated nothing.
As you are not the masters of this Cluster, you have no right to evict anyone. You are a security task force, nothing more. Waterhelper, as the owner of this Cluster, is the only nation with the athority to tell us to leave.
Its our moon, we'll do with it as we please.
Now, we request you leave our space and return our Ambassador, or do we have to file complaint with Waterhelper?
OOC: Expect more of the same if you try to do anymore of the same, Bal. I won't put up with you barging in and ruining this RP any longer.
Belle Terre Defense Command
"Is the move for the J.B. prototype in its new position yet?"
"Just. Once activated, it will seal the Quake Moon so that not even the Balroggans can get at it for the next five-thousand centuries or so. Would have been longer, but we had to remove some of the Z.P.M.s and cut the connection to the Obsidian's main power source to get it in position, sir."
"Understood. Activate it on my mark....Mark!"
Exterior
There was a pulse of energy that one would have to be blind to miss as the Jovian Barrier unit activated. It generated a spherical mass that grew to encompass the entirety of the Quake Moon in a barrier that was designed to withstand anything and could only be turned off from the inside, where no one was. Nothing could go in, or come out, for the next five-thousand centuries. Also, for some unkown reason, the exterior surface of the Jovian Barrier looked exactly like Jupiter.

You forced us to play our hand. Now the Quake Moon is sealed off from any attempts on it. Not even we are able to breach the barrier now protecting the Quake Moon. Now that the reason for most of you to be here has been removed from the picture, there is no reason for you to stay.
OOC: And expect more of the same if you try to pull a stunt like that again. I'm here to have a good time and get some good RP stories done, not let someone else barge in and ruin everything.

Lord Kharrack looked out at the new development with a rather bemused smirk. He had ordered all forces to stop, and take up positions around the planet. It was indeed a rather powerful forcefield, but you did not need to smash a shield with a sledgehammer to by pass it.
He relayed orders to the rest of the fleet, he ordered them to chase down the seaquestian armada and bring them to justice for their crimes. He sent 4 flotillas on the pursuit, lead by the Divine light of judgement, Truth of the Divine, Tranquility of heaven and the Heavenly warden.
All in all a total of 8 zweihanders 4 morgensterns, 25 einhanders and 12 shield carriers, with a total of nearly 5000 morgenraetes.
The rest of the fleet he told to stay put, and await the two naval trooper destroyers that had been assigned to his fleet at the outset of their mission.
Their urenbeck catapults, and special tactics and training as well as their increased proficiency thanks to the nova pancream, a nano machine generator inside their bodies lead Kharrack to believe they were the absolute best choice for the mission..and the mission was one in to the unknown..to destroy an unknown device responsible for sealing this moon away.
The seaquestians were playing with forces they did not understand, and if they had to batter this shield down as they did the Divine Dragons they would..and could..even if they had to bring in GENESIS to do it, vowed Kharrack.
ooc SQ you specifically put this in the cluster so you would have maximum allies and nations bigger then TFU honour bound to protect you..so stop getting annoyed when we do what we are supposed to inside the terms and agreements we signed. We cant just icly back out of them..we have to behave as police..we arent Allied with any of you..we are there to deal with problems and keep the peace.
The moon, the allies all of it became a breech of the peace. Why? because if your nation was even half way respect by its allies they would listen to the call to stay out of it.
You can continue your war with TFU..we dont care, however its likely the war inside the cluster is over..and it will carry on to other areas. Now TFU needs to split his fleet up and hunt you down. And if you like you can get the GFFA in to it and try to make it a bigger war..just dont do it in the cluster haha.

The destruction of the Quake Moon was recorded and transmitted about the universe, uncut and live. The recording would later be broken down to try to gain knowledge about the weapons used and the materials fired apon. But for now, it would merely stand as a warning to those who would defy the Cluster Police, complete with full commentary from the flagship's AI and a transcript of the major transmissions between the Cluster Police and the Seaquestian forces. A copy was even tightbeamed to Altera.
As soon as this was done, a response was fired at the Balroggans, the communications officer barely able to type after that explosion. The rest of the bridge crew looked stunned, absorbed by the sheer power displayed by the Balroggan craft.
Excellent, I'd love to attend. Quite a good way to change the day, we'd expected to die and now we're getting fed. Nice destruction sequence by the way, I like your chaos beam. Did the lunar destruction give any indication of the moon's composition?
ooc: SQ, Balrogga has the ability to do this. He has done moon swaps several times before, and there is no way that your energy cannon can stop his. (fun little thing where energy waves pass straight through each other)
I suggest that you reconsider your post. Also, nice phallic ubershield. Even if Bal puts up with your energy thing, I'm going to Black Hole it.

Surrender is not an option. However, if your commander is willing, our commander is willing to challenge him to a duel, winner of the deul is declared the winner of this battle, no questions asked. Will you accept this challenge?
OOC: This is the best you're going to get (but I'm not talking about a deul with ship, but a mano-a-mano match (ie, face-to-face)). Perhaps this way we can salvage something from this dog-pile of an RP and end this with some good RPing.
And you still need to post all those losses from my bombardment earlier and Tann's assault.

Within minutes of the erasure of the Quake Moon and the positioning of its replacement, an open message was broadcast to all present.
Now that the moon was safely disposed of and all the trouble caused by it passed, the presence of the Council was no longer needed. I invite all those residents present and the honorable No Endorse and those he wished to invite to attend a celebration of the bloodless conclusion between us.
Please meet at Draconus Prime after everything is wrapped up here. The event will be held upon the Blackstone Fortress in the Council Chambers.
The ITH has set up a Local Gate for the Draconus system so any ITH members can use the system to reach the event. If you wish, you can request an escort through the territories of the Cluster. This would allow safe passage for those invited.
I know you have questions about our method of removal, the time delay will allow you to finish your scans of the Event and to formulate questions I am sure you will ask. We will provide what information we can, barring confidentiality.

“I think our work here is done, we got rid of the reason for everyone rushing into the Cluster.”
D’Rant walked over to his seat and sat down. He looked at a few displays showing information regarding the stats of the ships outside. After being satisfied the outside forces have began to leave, he touched the communication button.
“Commander, take The Fortress back home. I bet their ships are getting worried what happened to the Council.”
A couple minutes later, the Blackstone Fortress faded away as it Uplifted into dimensional space. The Asmodeus escorted the massive station back home. It really was not needed because the station was a lot more powerful than the Planet Killer.
A short time later the Fortress Emerged back in its orbit around Draconus Prime.
The battlegroups remained around Belle Terre to monitor the situation...
