OOC: I need a country, any country, to allow my nation to be a little Ork reservation inside your borders. The area should match this map. (http://img447.imageshack.us/img447/2728/prop10sj.png) Thank you ahead of time.

IC:
Groktor scratched his head and slammed back more moonshine. The "guvunment" was requiered to give the Ork tribes a salary, to help pay off the guilt of nearly wiping out an entire race. They had even give the Orks a desolate, shithole piece of land to rule as a "modern nationstate."

"Whut a crock 'a shit," Groktor said aloud.

Deciding he wanted to do something, he left his bottle in front of his trailer, and stumbled towards "Da Red Tribe's" piece of "Da City." The Ork nation was divided into four claims for four tribes: Red, Blue, Brown, and Green. Less of a tribe and more of a street gang, each tribe controlled a "turf" of the one and only city. Going into the wrong turf.....well...you didn't usually walk out.

Before going to far, he decided to save himself the trouble and get on his "bike" and drive on up to the city. It was a cheap thing, Ork made, and was overly loud. But nonetheless, it tore towards the city had 120 miles per hour.

After finally getting to the city, he pulled up and hid his bike, knowing full well it could be stolen back. A large group of Orks, dressed in the "ooniform" of the Red Tribe: Anything with red on it. The symbol of the tribe was an Ork child with a hammer and sickle. Mind you nobody knew what the symbol meant, only that it pissed off humans and the other tribes.

"Komrades!" said a scarred Ork, "We'z been too occupied wit fightin' da udder tribes! We needs ta onify da kontry and den kill us sum oomies!" The speech, simple as it was, hit a chord with the assembled Orks. They soon made their way home, and gathered a few weapons. Most had a "Shoota" at home, which was nothing more then a louder, ork produced AK-74. Some of the poorer Orks, called "Grots" could only produce a machete or large cutting knife. Regardless, the word spread, and it wasn't long until all 6 million of "Da Red Tribe" were ready to kill.

ooc: i do have a puppet nation which could help you out. the people of Hok-Tu are like modern day mongol hordes which should be similiar enough to the boyz. the Hok-Tuans are also communist as well.

I also love 40K and the Boyz were my first army back in the days of the 2nd edition and all the clans.

drop me a TG or get me on msn and we can sort out something

The war had begun without delay.

Trucks had been outfitted with machine guns, as had anything with wheels. Life had simply been put on hold for the war, as if the tribe had one mind...one purpose. Still, few Orks even stopped to think why they should unify, let alone think on how well they had been driven to unify.

The first area to be hit was, of course, "Da City." Street fighting was now all over, the sound of gunfire unescapable. Homemade bombs and cannons were blowing whole blocks to pieces. Snipers....in the sense that a sniper was one Ork hidden in a building, were a rareity; Orks preferring to raid, pillage, and steal their occupied territories.

The attack had prompted all the other tribes to declare war upon each other, now creating a whirlwind of violence.

ooc: i'm not sure where the tribes lands would be but Hok-tu would probally be somewhere in the far east of Russia with some coastline as well as being quite large.

ic:

Hok-Tu may have been communists but they still called their leaders Khan following the long tradition of their warrior past.

in the capital of Hokistan the current Khan, Jagathu looked out from his office. the city was quite modern with a lot of the nation still nomadic and still following the old ways.

Still they loved their communism and the rumours the Grand Khan was hearing about an orkish tribes who were also communist warmed his heart.

"we may end up helping these people" he tells his female secretary, also a party supporter "send up a spy plane to find out whats going on there"

within the hour the 'raven', the latest stealth plane was flying high heading towards the area of conflict and ready to find out what was going on.

OOC: I don't know where my country is either. Still waiting for someone to say "Your reservation can be in my country."

IC:
The spy plane would be able to see all 6 million inhabitants involved in killing each other. "Da City" was a ruined, smoldering shadow of its former derelict self. War Trukks, pickups with machine guns in the back, patroled the more wild areas, pulling behind them Battle Trailers; mere trailers(as in the ones people live in) loaded with ammo and defenses.

The air had no great battles, a few orks had rigged up small gyrocopters with a gun or two...but around 7 were spread out among the entire population. "Da Lake" inside Blue Tribe territory was the only place where crude ships, more along the lines of the Monitor of the civil war, blew apart invading bands.

the pilot after flying high and taking pictures for a few hours radios a report back home detailing what he has seen before returning home.

###

"its a civil war" General Sighnas tells the Grand khan "and elements of it appear to be communist. Red banners and hammer and sickle symbols have also been picked out from the photos"

the leader ponders and says "we'll have to let this play out for a while because we don't know if we can even contact our comrades in the Red Tribe.

We'll send the Raven out again tomorrow with orders to try and radio them assuming they have access to radio"

contact would be attempted..

Morning.

Groktor awoke in a pile of moonshine bottles, he Shoota deviod of bullets. After brushing himself off, he tryed to remember last night. He had joined a gang, Da Grunchers if he remembered, who were going to raid Green Tribe territory.

And yet....some how he was in Brown Tribe territory.

"Da Brown Tribe" had the least amount of city and the most amount of desert and dirt, hence Brown. The were also very skilled bandits. Groktor clutched his weapon, refusing to allow it to be stolen. He saw the smoke coming from "Da City" and began to walk towards it, hoping to meet allies on the way.
******************************************************
The devestation wasn't over. The battle was still hot in the streets of "Da City" and bands still patroled the sand wastes. But now the mountanious edges were being thrown into war.

Fortressess were being built, and combat had devolved to WW1 tactics. Cheap ramshackle artillery pieces blasted the hell out of each other, as Orks launched shell after shell onto each other.

OOC:I will take up the banner, your in the center of the nation, thats the Red Tidean desert BTW. Can we say the south-eastern part of the desert? Expect Red Tidean rebels and goverment to get caught up in the midst.

IC: It had been about a year since the Red Tide Goverment had ruthlessely attempted to exterminate the Orks. However, Supreme Commander Gregori(the leader of Red Tide) DID, despite most foreign news reports to the contrary, have a conscience... it just rarely spoke. So when it did, he gave the Orks a strip of dirt in the Southeastern part of Red Tides Central Desert.

However, the paranoia still rested within Red Tides Goverment, and the Orks were not allowed to leave and the border of the reservation was garrisoned with Infantry Divisions.

The military units that had been positioned between Ork territory and the rest of Red Tide maintained their standard posts in their pillboxes, bunkers, artillery positions, and so-on. The sound of gunfire made their officers nervous, and so they had called Ariga(the nations capitol) for instructions. They recieved 'observe'. Along with that, the Airforce began to continously run M-10 Spy Craft(A Red Tidean version of the U-2) over constantly.

OOC: I will take it, just drop the 'me paying yearly salery' thing. My nations leader(yes, singular) is accountable to no-one.
Anyways, your in the south-eastern most corner, right along the coast. Thats the Red Tidean jungles BTW. Expect Red Tidean rebels and goverment to get caught up in the midst.

OOC: I am grateful for you post but the area the Orks inhabit is not jungle, but rather aird desert. They have no coast and are land locked. The system they live under is the system of the reservation: "Sorry we killed you, here's some money for your government."

If you cannot comply with these, then you need not assume the reservation is in your nation. However you are welcomed to join in upon editing your post.

OOC: Actually, it IS possible for my nation(a corporate dictatorship), to incorporate all of those. I DO have a desert(in the dead center of the country, which fits your second requirement), and-ocassionally-my the Supreme Commander's conscience nags at him. We can assume that it is one of those points. So, I will edit my post in accordance.

Now were getting somewhere!
IC:
The Blue Tribe had fallen to the Red, and there was much rejoycing among the Reds. Ammunition and weapons were stolen from the hands of the Blues, and the entire Blue tribe was enslaved.

The Red Tribe now had a total force of 1.3 expendable slave soldiers...and it would use them well. The Grots, as the conquered were called, were equipped with hand weapons and thrown into the front lines. The Red force pushed through the chaos of the city, now holding near all of it. But this was not the most interesting part...

Attacks were being launched on the Red Tide troops. A few gangs would ride up onto the border and fire machineguns at the humans. Artillery "Krews" began testing how far they could fire into Red Tide territory when they could no longer find an enemy.

However, the mountains were still a battleground. Krews operated in gangs of 2 or three artillery pieces, rolling from spot to spot among the mountains. Green Tribe footsoldiers were refusing to give an inch. All 3 of "Da Red Tribe's" gyrocopters were now acting as airborne bombers, raining a sack of pipe bombs or homemade napalm open any choice target.

at dawn the raven took to the skies over the reservation again flying high and with all stealth systems operational.

as ordered the pilot broadcast the message he was given.

"my nation, the peoples republic of Hok-Tu send greetings to the Orks of the Red Tribe. we would like to make diplomatic contact with your leader and to help out our Orkish comrades.

We will await your response"

the pilot had an hour of flight time before he had to return home and hoped a reply would come before then and before the Red Tidean airforce realised he was there.

The Red Tide Troops reacted as they all ways did to what was referred to as 'possible hostiles'. That is, ignore them until they open fire, then instantly send as much firepower their way as possible. The Red Tidean border gaurds consisted of five Infantry Divisions, one on each side, with the fifth one having its four brigades gaurding the corners. There was a training field about 2 hours away, which usually had a Mechanised-Infantry Division there on exercises.

Anyways, each division consisted of 20,000 men. None were reinforced with specialised brigades. The Infantry Divisions had nothing heavier then Light Battle Tanks and Medium Artillery Pieces. In the case of the former, they were LBT-44 tanks, in the case of the latter were towed 122mm ETC Guns. As it turned out, that would be all they would need for now.

Ork artillery crews would be quickly tracked via Counter-Battery RADAR and be pummelled by the artillery. The 122mm guns had a range of 30 kilometers, given that the Orks were using what was equivalent to WW1 guns, they would outrange the Orkish artillery a good bit.

In terms of direct fire... it was also in Red Tides favor(although the Orks had not comitted all that much manpower towards them). Numerous 6.8mm bullets were sent hurtling against any Orks that foolishly opened fire from Red Tide small arms, occassionally 15.5mm Heavy Machine Gun fire would join in, but never anything heavier then that. The divisions DID have heavier equipment, they just didnt deem the use of it nessecary(yet).

The Orks at first thought they were being attacked. The bunkered down and hid, some even shot at the "bird uh death." But after hearing the word "Komrade" they knew they were allies.

But how to respond?

The Orks, believeing that this brid god would hear them, began to scream at the sky inbetween battles, asking for "Gunz, ammos, and big bombas!"

The Krews learned quickly, and moved as quickly(sometimes while) they fired. The Orks knew guerilla tactics would be neccesary to harm their human foe, and it almost seemed like an instinct to them.

Krews now targeted Orks and any border guards located in the bordering mountains or the tanks located on the training fields. Brave Orks would drive by guards at speeds of 120 miles per hour, usually having an Ork on the back of their bikes to shoot up any tragets they could. Commonly a training camp or group of guards would have bombs flung at them by crude catapults, then be raked by machine gun fire by a war trukk, who would then pull away as more bombs were flung. The secondary blasts would kick up sand and disorganize the humans, allowing the trukk to survive.

The Green Tribe was now almost fully taken over, the remnants of the tribe fleeing into the guns of the Red Tide soldiers. Only the Brown Tribe remained untouched.

the pilot was also aware that orks (he wasn't sure which tribes although) were also attacking the Red Tidians as well and was non-commital in his reply.

"Comrades, I wll bring your request to our Grand Khan and will return with an answer soon".

he set a course towards Red Tidian lines and sent another radio message introducing himself to the Red Tidians

"my name is Lt Kolko of the airforce of the PR Hok-Tu. my government wishes to help our Orkish comrades of the Red Tribe before this civil war gets out of hand.

May I land and speak with an officer? My people are peaceful and only wish to help"

The training field was out of reach of the Ork Artillery, plenty of Orks began to escape through Red Tidean Lines however. As fast as the average Red Tidean soldier could react to situations, there simply was just not enough time to shoot something moving at 120 MPH as it moved by. Still, the divisions were suffering only a few casualties, although now they were beginning to shoot at Orks indiscriminantly. Any War Truck that appeared would be shot at by a LBT-44, which was equipped with a very good fire control system and laser designator. Their primary armament was a 105mm ETC gun.

There was a small flurry of activity at the communications post. The message puzzled and alarmed the Red Tideans. Red Tide had the most sophisticated SAM belt in the world. Easily capable of detecting and shooting down most stealth aircraft. This aircraft had to be truly stealthy in order to evade Red Tidean RADAR and LADAR. The reply was simple.

"Please hold your position while we transfer your request to our superiors."

It was about 15 minutes before the reply.

"You are to head to Strategic Command HQ IMMEDIATLY. Coordinates are being transmitted."

As it turned out, Strategic Command HQ was in the dead center of the country. It also had a powerful RADAR-X, a Over-The-Horizon RADAR capable of detecting ANY stealth aircraft in the world and capable of detecting regular aircraft as far out as 1,200 kilometers.

OOC: Probably my second to last post of the night.

IC: When Lt Kolko got out, he found an entire COMPANY(100 men) of Red Tidean Soldiers(which have the nickname 'MeatPuppets') with their Assualt Rifles, Light Machine Guns, and even Rocket Launchers pointed his way. A single man in a uniform, identifying himself as a major began to walk towards the aircraft.

Da Red tribe was in awe of the fire power of the tanks. They began to demolish some of the artillery and war trucks, making a fearsome....yet horribly built, new sort of tank.
Da Blastur's (http://gt.us.games-workshop.com/Results_Coverage/Dallas/40k_singles/40K/JerryDoyle_b.jpg) as they were coined, were simply an artillery cannon that could shoot foreward, and had armour plating. Mind you, this armour was car parts, steel from buildings and pipes, or whatever was on hand; but it was still armour. Da Blasturs were propelled usually by 2 V8 engines, scrapped from a few trucks. It's projectiles were simply artillery shells that were carried on the tank. The velocity at which the shells were fired would move "Da Blastur" at least a few feet back.

The tanks were cheap and couldn't match the Red Tide's firepower, but hey had 3 advantages:
1. Easy to Build
2. Easy to Repair
3. It could haul ass

Every now and then a Blastur and 3 bikes would attack Red Tide troops, but for the most part, attacks on humans decreased. The new weapons were thrown at the bandit camps of the Brown tribe, as were 90% of all Red Tribe forces.

Oooh, take a look… Krorks

Wow, more, suddenly they’re coming out of the woodwork

If I were superstitious, I’d tell you to stow it.

Heh. Well, they don’t seem to be a threat to us at present. Drop off an observer and we can keep an eye on them. The ones out in the Rudan area are more pressing at the minute.

Mark them down for routine culling?

Well, if you want, but I doubt we’ll ever get the time to go in for such brutality.

As you wish…

OOC: In other words, ‘glorified tag’ and ‘wave of general approval.’
