Lebanon, Willink; 7:30 PM
President Scharfe sat quietly at his Lavish Mediterranean-style mansion outside Lebanon, overlooking the city from a large hill. He sat on the gargantuan rear patio, sipping ice tea, thinking to himself. He had called a special conference, requesting several people to attend. The leaders of HailandKill and USSNA have been called, and a message was sent requesting Oberststadt Furher Saladin to attend.
As he rose from his seat, he glanced over toward the City center again, before the sky began to darken and rain looked inevitable. He stepped inside, just as rain began to fall, creating a unique sound upon the tiled roofs, filling the entire mansion with noise.
He walked up the large staircase in the center, before heading to his office suit, full of large bookcases, a large desk with a computer, and a small fireplace. He quickly shut the window, before sitting down next to the phone, waiting for a message from the Parliament.
He walked over to one of the bookcases, and took out a book he had browsed many a time. "The Lessons of the Saharistan War." It was a book that affected the nations policy for years. He opened up to a chapter, concerning the fallout following the use of nuclear weapons, and how all of Saharistans allies had abandoned him. He read a few pages, before walking across the small room, and lighting the small fireplace. He returned to his seat, and glanced into the fire, waiting for a reply.
