The “Kingdom” of the great four corners …an island though almost the size of England was almost totally squared in shape in each corner was an independent nation, but each referred to themselves as a whole Kingdom together, despite the fact that none of them even had a King, the first “Corner”, a primitive nation supported itself with agriculture as they where little more advanced then the ancient Greeks or Romans, they allied themselves extensively with the second and third corners despite the fact that the nations had been at peace for over 60 years. The Second corner was no more advanced then Britain from the days of the American Revolution and supported themselves with a little more industry then the first as with the first they where allied with the third, the third held onto the power provided by its industrialization for it was the strongest of the three boasting WW1 level tech. Still the fourth and greatest corner was the fourth and things where about to upset the balance and peace the nations had, for the fourth had WW2 level tech and planned to use it to gain control of the island for itself. No more other governments in its path the fourth corner to rule forever over all the corners….

The attack came suddenly in a blazing attack, however the other corners managed to hold the initial attack at bay, but it wouldn’t last for long, as the four corners prepared for a major war with each other…

All four nations sent out an international message calling for help in there war efforts. The first, second, and third called for aid in fighting off the fourth, the fourth for aid in “liberating” the other three.

Forces of each corner (I do not know exact costs for any of the listed weapons, but as old as they are I expect they would be less expansive then modern tech, thus most of this may be affordable for my nation)

"Also, get a jet prepared for the Military Prefect. I want him to fly to whichever faction we decide to support and manage our forces."

Fighting continued as thousands of fourth corner troops pushed against the first corner, fighting took place in the manglo forest, as MP40s rang out several Gladius armed solders fell, then the first of the few trained with AKs opened fire killing a few solders, only to be struck with an MG-42 to the face. Solders armed with Pilums ran out and threw them and the Pilums stabbed into several solders. One brought out a Grenade then pulling the pin but was then hit by gunfire. The solder falling over dead lose the grenade as it went off into a group of solders with Sarissas and Pilums.... tanks began moving into the forest preparing to crash through their enemies lines and advance on their capital city...

Second corner troops launched an attack on a defended position of the fourth, only to be met with heavy machine gun and semi-auto fire forcing the offensive back, soon 6-Pounders where brought up as they fired at the defences the fourth corner troops took cover. But the second corner troops could not afford to advance...

The third corner held a line with the fourth, the fourth planed to wait for the other two to fall before they began an attack, for the moment the only battles they fought where through the air, as Bristol F.2s would attempt to engage Bf-109s, JU 87s, and B-17s that moved over the boarder to strafe or bomb enemy forces....


At sea, the Canarias moved in the direction of the first corners fleet, its only threat as of yet was the third corner Battleship Pelayo, who it could outrun and spot easily, and all fifty of the Avenger torpedo bombers where looking for it as to take it out leaving the Canarias master of the sea. Without AA weapons
If the Pelayo encountered an Avenger, it would stand almost no chance.

The Raptors were divided into several different squadrons, but for the time being they all flew together. 250 Fighter Jets flew above the Fourth Corner, en route to assist the Fourth Corner forces. The Thundercheifs were just now entering the airspace of the Fourth Corner, as they were somewhat slower than the Raptors.

Military Prefect Actius Julianus sat in the confrence room of his jet, surrounded by several officers. He was the highest authority in the room for the time being and was now planning military moves.

"I want an assault force of 5,000 loaded up onto Chinooks and ready to go as soon as possible. Also, alert the ships that we have to be on standby. We may need them," Actius said.

The officers scurried to carry out the Prefects orders. They began to make phone calls and get in touch with field commanders.

Meanwhile, in the cockpit, the pilots signaled to the Fourth Corner.

"This is Goverment Flight 122, we have Actius Julianus on board and request to land at your Capital city."

The Government of The Most Serene Republic of Connaught-Kerry has obtained permission from its President, Gillian Allison, for sending in military help. Our nation's defence forces, Óglaigh na Connaught, shall send in a 1,000 member military force and a 100 member ambulance cadre to assist the First Corner.

The Óglaigh Forces shall not have any problems from accepting orders from First Corner Forces.

all we know is that they need Oil, oil to run Tanks, aircraft, and the warship Canarias, and ammo for the different units weapons. we do not however know the location of any of the said targets. so you will have to find them.

The Óglaigh has dispatched one surveillance aircraft over the Fourth Corner airspace and it has discovered a medium-sized petrol refinery close to the coastline. Two Óglaigh strike fighters were sent to the target with the intent to destroy them.

OOC: The two fighters can go upwards to 55,000ft, with a speed, at most, of 1255MPH. They are armed with electronic countermeasures, radar jammer, and 14,330lb of ordnances.

To First Corner

The troops have arrived at the capital, ready to defend the city. Also, two more strike fighters will land at the capital's airports in 1 minute, ready to strike at enemy targets. If you have problems with this, we will turn back.

Also, The Defence Minister of Connaught-Kerry has sent a military attache to assist in organisational matters. He will arrive with communications equipments for better communications with our Prime Minister.

However, we are currently operating out of our "Failite" office (Tourism Promotion Office), and we need more space. Is there any way we can get bigger accomodations?

Also, the Óglaigh missile branch has prepped all of its missiles (NOTE: Connaught-Kerry does not have nuclear capability) for launch at a minute's notice. They will be launched by orders of the President.

All Óglaigh forces on the ground have begun assaults against Fourth Corner strongholds.

Tanks are also on the way.

The aircrafts have been directed North West.

According to military intelligence obtained by our surveillance planes, the two strike fighters seems to have destroyed the petrol refineries. One of the aircraft was destroyed in the dogfight that ensued. One escaped.

Also, helicopters have been sent to evacuate the first corner leaders to a safe location.

The Óglaigh Air Corps have been sent in to fend off the airstrike.

According to military intelligence, all but one of the targets have been destroyed.

Anti-Aircraft Batteries have arrived at the Third Corner and is working hard to defend the area.

In addition, The Prime Minister of Connaught-Kerry has designated the First, Second, and Third Corner as a part of the Kerry Defence Region, and will do anything to repel an attack by the Fourth Corner. The Prime Minister also stressed that all treaties signed under duress will not be recognised.

OOC: guess one very very last post for the night can not hurt...

IC: two petrol refineries, 1 harbour, and other troop concentrations. where targeted by missiles. while most troop concentrations remained relitivly unharmed the harbour was hit, major damage was done, but the harbour was still useable, and the refineries where wiped out. the Third corner was now relitivly safe from airstrikes.

of the the JU 87 dive-bombers that where sent six of the ten surrvived and 8 had dropped their loads of bombs onto enemy tanks(this is due to the fact that i only remember your stateing of 4 aircraft in the area, one was destroyed, anouther reterning from a bombing run, this leaves two to combat my bombers)

a treaty has been signed between the leaders of the first and fourth corners, the treaty states that the first corner is a protected states of the fourth as well as an ally, as such first corner forces are now ordered to combat Connaught-Kerry forces and then attack the second corner. this is due to the fact that the offer was somwwhat benifating the First corner, whos leaders have not seen the great effect of the Jet fighters and missiles, but have seen what the fourth corner can do.

Monkey Fights wishes to assist you against this great evil in your land. There are currently 10 C-17s on path to your airfield along with 15 C-130s. These planes are loaded with troops, M1A2s, and humvees. Once they unload, they will fly again for more troops and armor. The Troops landing will supply your men with M-16 A4s and amo, as well as gernades and other necessities Also, 20 A-10s wish to land at the airfield for the readied defense against any armor that enters your borders. Fourth Corner,

Disius will station several fighters over key places that are needed. Also, we are prepared to send in more troops. As I write this to you, Chinooks are dropping an assualt force of 5,000 to help your infantry. We are preparing 5 air survallience crafts to go up and gather intel on the enemy Corners. IC: two petrol refineries, 1 harbour, and other troop concentrations. where targeted by missiles. while most troop concentrations remained relitivly unharmed the harbour was hit, major damage was done, but the harbour was still useable, and the refineries where wiped out. the Third corner was now relitivly safe from airstrikes.

of the the JU 87 dive-bombers that where sent six of the ten surrvived and 8 had dropped their loads of bombs onto enemy tanks(this is due to the fact that i only remember your stateing of 4 aircraft in the area, one was destroyed, anouther reterning from a bombing run, this leaves two to combat my bombers)

a treaty has been signed between the leaders of the first and fourth corners, the treaty states that the first corner is a protected states of the fourth as well as an ally, as such first corner forces are now ordered to combat Connaught-Kerry forces and then attack the second corner. this is due to the fact that the offer was somwwhat benifating the First corner, whos leaders have not seen the great effect of the Jet fighters and missiles, but have seen what the fourth corner can do.

The President of Connaught-Kerry, Gillian Allison, has officially refused to recognise the treaty signed by the leaders of the First Corner and requests all First Corner military forces to resist the Fourth Corner at all costs.

Also, the President has signed an emergency bill, placing a caretaker government for the First Corner area with the purpose of preserving the territorial integrity of the area. In order to calm fears that the bill is a means to usurp a nation, the bill stipulates that upon winning the war, the caretaker government will be immediately and automatically dissolved.

The President also authorised missiles to be launched against 26 locations. 6 of the targets are refineries, 10 are harbours and bridges, and the rest are troop concentrations and munitions depots.

Off the Coast of the Fourth Corner

The fleet that was now off the coast of the Fourth Corner stood idle at the moment. Moments ago, they had received word from the Military Prefect that carriers would be joining them. The 4 CVN-1 Daewoo Class Carriers packed about 120 AV-8B Harrier II Carrier Based Attack Aircrafts an board, all prepared for battle.

10 DD Banks Class All Purpose Destroyers were escorting the two carriers. The ships would meet the positioned fleet off the coast of the Fourth Corner, and then attempt to destroy all enemy naval crafts.

A Fourth Corner Airfield

140 Apache attack aircrafts sat idle on the airfield, they had just arrived from Disius and were being refueled. On one of the runways, the Military Prefect's private jet landed with a screech.

50 of the 190 F-22 Raptors had returned from their mission to shoot down enemy bombers, and had the duty of patroling the air above major airfields. With those Raptors gaurding major airfields, Actius Julianus had a sense of security.

The Prefect still wanted to get this whole conflict over with so he could return to Disius, and so he sent out a message.

Connaught-Kerry,

The Holy Republic of Disius respectfully requests that you withdraw your forces from the Island and allow the First and Fourth Corners to carry through the intentions of the Fourth Corner. There is no point in your nations having any more of it's men die.

OOC: i said that your government defence budget was to small for your ships, so you would have to use extra unused money to fund your military, and with that you have listed in this war alone would streatch that amount to the limit, if you keep fighting you could exast your military power. it is not a question of if it is government money or not.

EDIT: in fact, you can not support 15 of them, a Ticonderoga class Cruiser(as is the ship you listed your ships are based on) costs 1.7 Billion dollers, with 15 of them thats about 25.5 Billion, your current listed government budget total is 12.5 Billion, so your government most likely cant even safely afford to have that many ships, even if you built them over time rather then buying them all at once

The Prefect got up out of his leather chair in the conference room of the jet, and straightened out his tie. He removed a silver flask from the left pocket of his pants, took a quick swig out of it, and then placed it back into his pocket.

Actius exited the small conference room and came into the main cabin of the jet. One of the men on the jet opened the door of the aircraft when the Prefect was ready to exit.

Actius slowly descended the stairs and called and turned to one of his men.

"I want you to arrange a meeting with the Dictator of this nation and myself. We need to discuss strategy."

"Yes sir, I will get right on it. Also, the 10 destroyers have met up with the original fleet."

The Officer saluted and scurried away to organize a meeting.

With First Corner Attacking Force

The Disiian assualt team moved in with the First Corner forces, into buildings being used or occupied with enemy forces.

The Coast of the Fourth Corner

The fleet of 18 ships took attacking positions and prepared to fight the enemy vessels. The Harrier II attack aircrafts also prepared to launch, as well as the bombers. They would soon attack if the enemy did not accept their request to withdraw.

"Its a pleasure to meet you face to face," Actius offered his hand forward, "I was hoping we could discuss an ending strategy for this war and an Embassy exchange. Also, the Consul wanted to talk about free trade rights when this is all over."

The Most Serene Republic has declared the First Corner to be its protectorate, enabling its militaries to defend the area. The Most Serrene Republic Government wishes to urge all sides to stop this warfare, and wish that the previous status quo is restored.

Meanwhile, existing military units on the ground is ordered to stand their ground and not attack unless attacked upon.

"the pleasure at this time, is mine. we can work out an Embassy exchange rather easily. you will be given one Government building to your own choisees in size and form, 150 persons will be allowed to work in it, with no more then 25 Guards out of that, they will be allowed light weapons only. free trade rights we accept. and on to the strategy, with our current state we need oil. the enemy has continued to launch missiles at our refineries. we need to stop the missile attacks, and get oil into our nation for use. at sea we can win, so long as the Pelayo is destroyed or captured. we must also drive Connaught-Kerry out of the First Corner, once that happens they can attack the Second from the north, and we may begin bombing there, as well as attack from the North West. once we have the Second Corner the Third will face overwelming numbers and in some cases suppirior tech. lastly we have developed new weapons of our own but need funding to make enough of them to be usefull. i would ask for your own tech, but it is not in our nature to take tech unless under extream stress, this is why we are as far behind as we are." Lupo finished and waited for a reply

After the war, we will attempt to assist with rebuilding and unification," Actius paused, "I will get bombers to make preemptive runs on targets and order the F-22 Raptors that we have to shoot down any threats on your refinereies. I am flying in an additional 10,000 men on Chinooks right away to finish this damned thing up. Once Connaught-Kerry is taken care of, hopefully in a peaceful way, we can focus all air and sea force on the remaining corners."

The President has rescinded its declaration, which would have expired following the liberation of the First Corner.

To Second and Third Corner: A Personal Message From The President

My Prime Minister recommended me to sign this proclamation. Under the laws of my country, I have to sign it, I cannot veto. However, I have consulted a legal expert over this, and he has advised me that the proclamation is out of line. I have since rescinded the proclamation and dissolved the government.

I hope this will not impair relations between our nations. Please understand that the interest of Connaught-Kerry does not lie in the occupation of the corners. Our interest is that all sides will come to peace.

Our military forces will not be used to occupy or usurp any governments.

Coast of the Fourth Corner

The Harrier aircrafts and the bombers reverted their course to the mainland. The ships still stayed in place, but the aircrafts now traveled to the Second Corner to run bombing raids.

120 of the Harriers, 5 stratofortresses, and 20 B-1b Lancers have started bombing raids in the Second Corner.

Border between the Fourth and Second Corner

15,000 Disiian troops entered the Second Corner, after being dropped off by by Chinooks, and layed down fire on any enemy units in sight. They were now attempting, with their air support, a push to the Capital of the Second Corner.

the Third Corner forces, not recognoizing MF troops as offical allies in the war they fought, politly escorted the troops and there weapons back to there ships. even though the arrival of such people sparked in many an urge to fire on them, the Thrid COrner could not afford to do that at this time

Fourth and Second Corner Border

The bulk of the Disiian force has only pushed so far into the Second Corner. Only 1 B1-b Lancer has been damanged due and was returned to the airfield for repair.

All F-22s and Harriers have ceased bombing raids for refueling, but will not be landed for long. While they are refeuling, the 15,000 Disiian troops has dug in to hold their current position.

Off the Coast of the Second Corner

3 DE Nova Class Escort Destroyers, 2 Carriers, and 5 DD Banks Destroyers made their way to blockade the Second Corner. The small fleet had orders not to strike unless the enemy approaches.

After much confusion and heated debates, Monkey Fights eventually landed their small forces to assist the 3rd corner. Jack Surma, who was in charge of the operation, directed the new vehichles. 20 M1A2 tanks and 20 A-10 warthogs were already prepared for any conflict. 500 men would remain on the ground to assist the defense of the 3rd corner, with other troops on standby if things got ugly. 10 F-16s were on the way to the small airfield to deter any bombers who might want to enter the arispace by the field.

12 Ships-of-the-line moved out of the largest port in the Second Corner, they moved to attack the 100 some Triremes from the First Corner. as the ships closed the distance the SotLs opened fire with there cannons, several Triremes where hit, but soon AK fire came from solders on the Triremes, doing damage to the SotL, before long the ships closed the distance flamming Pilums where tossed at the SotLs hulls on others Grenades where tossed on deck and exploded. on the last few, grapples where tossed aboard and troops moved onto the decks of the SotL, Muskets and Pilums exchanged fire, then solders with Cutlass sabers and Gladii clashed solders on both sides died, eventualy some of the SotL flead the battle heading for the Third Corner

already, though Disius forces where holding there position, already 1,000 or more Second Corner troops where out of action, and the bombing did extream damage to what helped the Second Corner stay alive, and with the blockade in effect and with no airfields, the Second Corner had no way of geting supplies, save from the Third Corner, who was clamping down on its boarders and trade as threats grew closer....

newly developed V-1 Rockets where launched at the Third Corner today hiting major factories and other positions supporting the Third Corner military. officals say the attack was a major success, however it will remain some time before an attack will begin.

the Third Corner in retailation of the V-1 attack has effectivly sent most of its airforce to attack the fleet blockadeing the Second Corner, the force included 1,300 Bristol F.2s and 500 ZR-1 Zepplines...

Of the Coast of the Second Corner

120 Harrier II Carrier Attack Aircrafts took off from their carriers on orders to shoot down any Bristols they could. The Harriers, faster and equipped better, hoped to shoot down as many Bristols as they possibly could before they reached the Fleet.

The Fleets Field Commander had also requested 60 F-22 Raptors to assist in the assualt, which were now en route. However, the Raptors were not there yet.

Meanwhile, the crew of the ships took battle positions and prepared their weapons.

Over the Third Corner

With the airforce of the Third Corner, flying to try and destroy the fleet that was blockading the Second Corner, gone the bombers decided to take this opportunity to begin bombing raids.

50 F-22 Raptors, 5 Stratofortresses, and 15 B1-B Lancers had took off from the airfield and were now preforming bombing raids on the Third Corner.

Defensive Position in the Second Corner

With the Second Corner extremely weak, the 15,000 troops that were dug in made their move.

The 15,000 made another push to surround the Capital, requesting help from the Fourth Corner. The 140 Apache Attack Helicopters assisted the Disiian troops with fire from the air.

the Third Corner air strike moved forward when missiles came from infront of them, Zepplins and Fighters alike where hit, and if they where ot instandly destroyed they fell into the sea below them. still the force moved on, eventualy, the fighters ended up flying into the Harriers. they fired machine guns as they passed through, after the pass, the Bristol fighters stood no chance as they made into a dog fighting with the Harriers to by the Zepplins time to strike the enemy fleet....

the Bombers met a few Connaught-Kerry AA weapons and some Bristol fighters but the forces where for the most part inevfective as the bombing force struck hard, JU 87s and B-17s soon followed the Disius bomber force and struck many of the Third Corners factories and Coal mines

several thousand Fourth Corner troops followed up behind the Disius forces, 47 Panther IV tanks attacked as well, V-1 Rockets where launched. the First Corner launched an attack from the north with almost everything it had...the Second Corner troops began retreating into the Capital, there they would defend it from attack as best they could. they hoped the Connaught-Kerry solders would have more success in repeling the assault then they had...

Over the Second Corner

The 15,000 Disiians had now surrounded the capital. The bombing force that flew over the Third Corner, in which one Stratofortress was shot down in the bombing raid, now flew over the Second Corner capital city.

The 4 Stratofortresses and 19 B1- Lancers now fucsed on key targets in the capital city.

The Blockade

In the air, the modern jets had a major advantage. Despite the advantage, the Bristols had managed to shoot 1 Harrier down. Two Harriers also had to return to their ships because of damages.

The 50 Raptors had finally arrived. 25 had been ordered to help finish off the Bristols that were struggling against superior jets. The other 25 were ordered to fire at the Zepplins.

The Ships below, especially the destroyers, prepared to fire on any Zepplins that made it within range.

The Airfield

On board the Government Jet, officers were still giving orders and recieving communications. Word spread through the craft that more aircrafts and ships were going to arrive soon. The best news was that tanks were going to arrive soon, by transport planes.

even with Bombers over head and a stronger, more advanced army around them the last Second Corner troops prepared 20 6-Pound Cannons and there last 1,000 troops for a last stand....

at the Blockade, the Bristol fighters took heavy losses, and with the range they had travled where forced to retreat due to limited fuel supplies.and they heavy losses. however the Zepplins continued on, only to encounter desvetating losses...

At the blockade, all the aircrafts that were attacking the Bristols now focused on attacking the Zepplins.

The Airfield

C-1 Transport Aircrafts landed at the airfield and dropped off 250 Gryphon tanks for the war effort. The tanks were ordered to report to the force that had surrounded the Second Corner capital and prepare for battle.

Meanwhile, in the government jet, the officers ordered the launch of five AGM-3 HARM Radar-Seeking Missles on the Second Corner Capital. Additionally, 10 more of the same type of missles were launched at key Third Corner targets.

as of now, the Second corner has officaly surrendered to the fourth corner, however the turms of this surender are yet to be determined...

most Zepplins where taken out quickly, as they where big slow targets, a few got into range of the ship missiles, at this they died. one by one the Zepplines where all taken out of they sky....

Third Corner Victory!

the Third Corner got its first victory today when the Battleship Pelayo sacked a Fourth Corner airbase, all aircraft where destroyed and 103 lie dead

After the Third Corner vitory, the Holy Republic of Disius focused on sending their survaillence aircrafts to find the Third Corner battleship. 5 E-3 Sentry Airborne surveillance aircrafts now scoured the skies for any signal on the radar for this battleship.

The entire Disiian Fleet that was stationed on the coast of the Island was now patroling, looking for this damned ship.

Second Corner-Third Corner Border

10,000 of the Disiian troops were now on the border, preparing to enter the 3rd Corner at any moment. 250 of the 500 Gryphon tanks were now stationed on the border, preparing to invade at any moment.

140 Apache Helicopters, 200 F-22 Raptors, 160 F-195 Thundercheif fighters, and the150 A-10 Thunderbolts Close Air support aircrafts were preparing to launch a massive air attack to establish total air Supeiriority over the Third Corner.

The B1-b Lancers and Stratofortressess were order to make daily bombing raids on important targets on the border and ammunition factories. To add onto the daily bombing raids, 20 more AGM-3 HARM Radar-Seeking Missles were fired on the Third Corner: 10 on the Capital and the other 10 on various targets.

The Disiian Troops that weren't on the border were helping the Fourth Corner forces keep peace in the Second Corner. The Disiians were determined to get this war over with.

the Third Corner moved before Disius, launching a massive attack 4,000 solders with Springfield Rifles, 100 Mark IV tanks, 400 Bristol F.2 Fighters, and 200 ZR-1 Zepplines attacked the Second Corner boarder...

Over the ocean, approaching the third corner:

A single herculies chugs through the sky, 15 modified Hurricanes flank it, running as air suport, upon the sides of each plane the image of a fox mid run depicts thier origin.

Second Corner Border

The troops were not expecting the Third Corner forces to move on them, but none the less they were prepared. The 140 Apache Helicopters, 200 F-22 Raptors, 160 F-195 Thundercheif fighters, and the 150 A-10 Thunderbolts Close Air support aircrafts were in the sky.

The Apaches went to take care of the Zepplins with their missle fire, the Raptors and Thundercheifs were ordered to take out Bristols, and the Thunderbolts were ordered to provide fire on the enemy tanks.

The 250 Gryphon tanks fired on the enemy troops and tanks, hoping to take them out quickly.

The troops themselves fired a variety of weapons. 5,000 fired M16A4 assualt rifles at the enemy force and Colt M203 Underbarell Grenade Launchers. Another 2,000 used M16 Marksman rifles. 1,000 used Benelli M4 Shotguns and another 1,000 used MP5A2 submachine guns. The remaining force also focused on bringing down the tanks with Javelin Anti-Tank missle launchers.

Thus far, because of the suprise attack, the Disiians had suffered 18 casualties. They began to request assistance from the First and Fourth Corners.

third corner capital city airstrip:

The herculies sets down after an uneventual flight, it's cover regement flying back to thier country untill called again. Slowly the doors open as the zeolots walk out.

They form into 10 groups of fifty upon the airstrip as the commander walks towards a third corner general, "Alright sir, where are these scum," he questions, gathering the current battle line plans.

dispite heavy losses, suppirior firepower, and in some cases greater numbers the Third Corner troops pushed forward, they where determand to push the enemy out of the Second Corner...

the First Corner is licking wounds at the moment, we can supply forces to police areas currently under Disiian guard, so as to free the troops up

the Fourth Corner plans to use this attack to its advantage, most of the Third Corner army is attacking, and they will eventualy lose anyway, what we plan to do is come in from our own boarder. cutting off there supplies, we will start with large gains, they will then moves solders from the current offencive and defend against our attack...however we need time to mass our troops without them knowing...

Pelayo spoted! a patroling Bf-109 spotted the Pelayo heading south-west from the fourth corner, the Heavy Cruiser Canarias and four TBF Avengers have been sent to sink it, Fourth Corner leaders have asked Disius to send a warship after the Pelayo at this time

The Coast

All of the Disiian Ships stationed near the Great Four Corners have locked onto the enemy battleship and are now persuing the damned thing. Air support will be provided by the Harrier II Attack Aircrafts.

100 of the Harriers will begin to drop 500 Pound bombs on the Battleship until the Destroyers arrive.

Second Corner Border

The Disiian Troops were holding the line. Only 43 men had died thus far in the fighting. The Gryphon tanks continued to provide heavy amounts of fire at the enemy. The aircrafts overhead were showing their supierority.

Disius had ordered the policing forces to go to the border and help fight the Third Corner forces. The additional 5,000 men, arriving in APCs, and 250 Gryphon tanks had just recently arrived, refreshed and fully prepared to go into battle.

The additional tank fire reigned down on the enemy, as well as a storm of bullets being exchanged. Men were ducked behind whatever they could shield themselves with. They would pop out behind tanks or sand bag barricades and begin to fire at the enemy. The newly brought up men exited the APCs and began to provide additional fire support.

Despite the overwhelming numbers and technoligy that Disius had, the Third Corner forces were determined to fight. Although it was almost inevitable that they would lose, the Third Corner still fought.

the assault on the Second Corner fell apart, the Mark IV tanks where almost all gone, the air force was shreaded and the infantry had taken heavy losses, however now they where seting up to defend what they had taken, they moved the entire force of 1,000 Maxim Machine guns and there crews up, they would be the best and defence against whatever happened...

the Pelayo first encountered the Canarias, the Canarias held its distance as it would not have the power to get passed the targets armor, and the Pelayo could possibly sink the Canarias with one well placed shot...TBF Avengers and Harriers where next on the seen, the Pelayo fired all but its largest guns at the craft, however the Avengers managed to drop torpedos and the Harriers dropped there bombs...the Pelayo was damaged badly, so badly it was begining to sink at an alarming rate....

OOC: the Pelayo is based on the Spanish Pre-Dreadnaught Battleship Pelayo, its less then 400 feet long and has no true AA guns

The Battleship

The Destroyers enclosed on the enemy vessel and opened fire. Storms of heavy artillery fire from the Destroyers poured upon the enemy battleship, and the Harriers continued to bomb the enemy ship.

The Second Corner Border

The Disiian forces had suffered a total of 542 casulaties and 132 wounded. Still, about 14,300 men were fighting the enemy. The men get fighting the enemy, hoping the battle would end soon.

The huge bulg of planes in the air began to drop 500 pound bombs and shot down at the enemy troops. The 498 Gryphon tanks now focused on the enemy infantry, raining barrages of fire upon them.

While the men fought on the land, 10 Radar-Seeking missles were inbound for the Third Corner Capital.
