The Gate Builders

I think this had been long overdue, an 'earth' based on Bethesda's Elder Scrolls series of games, set in Nirn. I think something similar to this has been started recently, but focusing only on the continent of Tamriel. This one will cover all of Nirn.
Recent Events
The last Emperor of the Reman line has been assasinated, and the Akaviri snake-man Versidue-Shaie has assumed control of the Empire as the first Akaviri Potentate ruler of the Cyrodiilic Empire. There is discontent, but the provinces remain nominally under the control of Cyrodiil, whilst in reality still keeping most of their control over themselves.
Territorial Claims
Tsaesci-Controlled Cyrodiil
The central province of Tamriel, and the seat of power of the Empire, currently controlled by the Tsaesci vampire snake-men. A centre of trade and civilisation.
The Gate Builders
Thras
A land of bloated necromancers, militarily not powerful but capable of raising an army of the dead. Not occupied by the Empire.
Skyrim
Home of the fierce and powerful Nords, a snowy land few enter, even the Imperial Legions prefer not to stay there long.
Morrowind
Homeland of the xenophobic and fierceley culturally independant Dunmer (dark elves), Morrowind is the Imperial province with the most home-rule, granted by the Septims in return for the nominal service to the Emperor Morowind provides. Has a very small Imperial presence, mainly on the island of Vvardenfell.
Valenwood
Land of the Bosmer (wood elves), Valenwood is a huge forest, with cities in the trees. Like much of the Empire, Valenwood is in reality mostly free from the Empire.
Black Marsh
A dreadful place, filled with venom and disease, the Argonian lizard-people are the only ones who may call this place home. The centre of the Black Marsh is entirely free of the Empire's presence, although the outskirts are ringed by Imperial strongholds.
The Horde of Doom
Elsweyr
Elsweyr is the home of the Khajit cat-people, a widely varied race who range from almost house-cat like in appearance to very much like the Bosmer.
Akavir
(I'm changing the history here...A lot, in the name of not making thing's stupidly complicated) In the final year of the First Era, the Ka Po' Tun dragon cats launched an offensive on the rest of Akavir. The Tsaesci snake-men had already left in great numbers, headed for a conquest of Tamriel. The monkey-people and snow demons were swept aside in a tide of blood, and were all united under the banner of the Ka Po' Tun.
Summerset Isle
Home of the most gifted of all mages in Nirn, Summerset Isle is the home of the Altmer (High Elves). It is a land of few cities, but is a very magical place.
High Rock
Home of the second most powerful mages in Nirn, High Rock is the Home of the Bretons. Humans who interbred with elves in the early ages, the Bretons are gifted with a good understanding of the magical arts.
Hammerfell
New home fo the proud warrior Redguards, Hammerfell was carved out by bloody conquest.
