Confederation of Allied States

CAS Charter:

*The Cofederation of Allied states shall be refered to as CAS.

*Members of the Confederation are required to found Embassies in other member's nations.

*Member nations are required to have some form of trade with other members.

*No member nation may attack another member nation. The said shall be tried by the Justice Tribune, which will be made up of 3 members voted to the position.

*All member nations have the right to rule in sovereignty, and no charter nor action by either amendmant or direct order (Save sactions) may infringe upon this.

*CAS Shall be ran by the founder, with an cabinent voted to postions by the rest of the members.

*The founder of CAS may propose a new amendment to this charter, or to remove an existing one. The Cabinet shall decide to remove or add by a 60% majority vote.

*The head of CAS shall hold Executive Authority to declare an Emergency state on a trade route or Nation/State, and notify member nations on an order to mobilise to protect and or assist the said nation. CAS Shall not undertake offensive military acts, unless deemed as needed in the greater defense.

*The founder as well as Cabinet shall hold the authority to approve or disapprove membership, to a petitioning Nation. This action can be vetoed by the Justice Tribunal if just cause against the applying nation is shown.

*All CAS member nations must stand ready to commit military forces in any conflict against a CAS member. While not required to go to war immediately when a conflict arises, all members must be ready and on alert if the Cabinet feels that said member is innocent of provocation.

*The founder of CAS may, with due cause, suspend a member-state for a period not to exceed 14 RL days. During that time the Cabinet shall review the member-state's conduct, should a majority of the Cabinet find against the aforementioned member-state, explusion will occur.

1.Must have at minimum 200 Posts.

2. Past RP's will be breifly looked over to see the overall RP ability of the nation wishing to join.

3. Nation Must be at least 4 months old.

In a passing question in this morning press briefing, the President made a point to state that "...the Confederation is little more well whipped dead horse. There is no justifiable cause to part from our present course of global diplomacy by way of the United Nations and the Union, to fallaciously follow the latest rearing of what has come to represent one the greatest failed temper tantrums of all time. This Republic shall have no part nor suffer any." Sentiments resounded by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr Sarah Hours during the Senate's Question Period.

OOC- Borman and I were going to refound UNA a month ago, but he has since gone rather inactive and i decided to continue on without him. The point of refounding was to kick out all the inactive nations, which is why people have to rejoin.

OOC: if I join, what economic/weapons benefits can i get?

While the Empire of Xeraph mourns the demise of UNA, we are gratified to see that Willink has stepped in and reorganized UNA into a new alliance, CAS.
