It was summer and Yuri Andropov was depressed. His girlfriend broke off their two year relationship after she found another man. He had several bad relationships before, but this one was a disaster. All around he saw happy couples and found himself wanting to be in love again. He worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. And lives in the capital, Jonensberg. A friend at work noticed his problems and sent out a letter to help him out a bit.

Giovanni Monet read over the letter of Yuri Andropov. He thought that his sister, Bianca would be interested in this. Bianca was a succesful woman in Thetania, she had a excellent career and life. Giovanni gave her the letter and she expressed her interest.

Giovanni wrote this letter:
''To Yuri Andropov,
I have read your letter of you in search for a soulmate. My sister, Bianca is interested. Bianca is 23, has brown hair, has light blue eyes, likes reading, writing, sports, athletics, gymnastics, and many other things. She is respectful, caring, polite, and other good traits. I hope she is an acceptable suitor to you. May you have the blessing of finding a woman to be with and perhaps marry.

Yuri stumbled into his apartment and flipped the switch. The postman left a letter and he picked it up. Yuri opened the letter and read it.
'What's this?' he thought. In an instant he realized it must've been Valerik's doing, he's been on his case to get a girlfriend for a few weeks. Not wanting to be rude he replied. He wrote directly to this Bianca, he was willing to persue this.

Dear Bianca Monet,

Your brother wrote of you and you sound like a wonderful person. I'm not really looking for a suitor, just someone to love and be with. perhaps we could meet sometime.

Sasha Migori was most certainly not an average citizen but she'd be having problems with guys and decided to see about dating an average joe who didn't either go after her for her title and money, or act weird because of it.

Looking throught a list of classified ads, she noticed one from Kulikovo that sounded promising.

To: Yuri Andropov

I have read your classified ad and would be interested in meeting you. My name is Sasha Migori and I'm twenty-four. My hobbies are horsemanship, fencing, tennis, jogging, general outdoor activities and reading. I'm a dog and big cat person and have an Irish Wolfhound by the name of Shag and a Mountain Lion names Jane. I hope you'd be interested in meeting me as well.

Bianca packed some of her things up and went onto a Thetanian aircraft heading to Kulikovo. When the plane landed, Bianca stepped out, expecting to meet an offical or escort.

OOC-Should I send her now? Making sure.

The next day Yuri recieved another letter in the mail. He read it and couldn't believe it, another interested woman. The young man went to the phone and yell at Valerik.
"Valerik, what did you do?" he asked over the phone.
"Just sent out a personal add for you, just trying to help" he calmly replied.
"I've recieved two letters!"
"And the problem is?..."
"I can't handle that, what if there are more?"
"You have plenty of sick days saved up, good luck...By the way, the one lady, Bianca arrived at the airport"
"What?! How do you know this?"
"remember, I work for the Foreign Intelligence Division" he laughed. Valerik hung up.

He ran to the subway and hopped a ride to the airport, hoping that Bianca wasn't upset at anything. He felt like an idiot and tried to find her.

Valerik, a devious fellow typed out a letter to help his friend out.

Yuri would be pleased to meet you. However, he is unavaliable at the time. But, he would like to meet you sometime.

Bianca waited at the airport, walking around as she got a look at the nation of Kulikovo. ''This is a nice, well kept nation. I am glad that I am here.'' Bianca said. She continued to wait, not minding it, thinking that Kulikovo's officals went late or something.

After a run in with the security at the gate he made his way in. The airport was busy with commuters. Yuri tried a mental picture of what Bianca looked like, there were sadly a descent amount of women who looked like her. So, he did the only thing he knew to do "Bianca Monet!" he called out but not too loudly. He walked around the gates, looking for her.

Bianca saw Yuri and she went up to him, dressed in a simple but nice looking Thetanian dress. ''Greetings.'' Bianca said to Yuri when she went up to him. ''I am Bianca Monet, it is an honorable pleasure to meet you. You must be Yuri Andropov?'' Bianca stated, wondering if this man who was calling for her was Yuri Andropov.

Yuri turned around and became very nervous. He saw a beautiful woman talking to him "Uh-Hello Bianca, I'm Yuri Andropov. It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm sorry if you had to wait, this came as a bit of a suprise." he nervously replied, he didn't even have a flowers to give her or anything. It made him feel terrible, it wasn't starting off well in his mind.

''I don't mind the wait, it was nice looking around.'' Bianca said, smiling. ''Yuri, perhaps we could see the city? I would like to see the sights and hear the sounds of Johannesburg. Also, thank you for allowing me to come to Kulikovo to meet you.'' Bianca stated.

'It would be a pleasure to show you the city. There are many sites and places to go to. If you thought the airport was nice, the rest of the city will reallt impress you" Yuri replied with a smile and the two left the airport. He straightened himself up and they began to walk.

''I am sure I will be impressed by the rest of the city. Also, I can't wait to see the sights and hear the sounds of this city.'' Bianca said as Yuri and her walked together. ''Yuri, tell me about yourself. What does a young, handsome man like yourself do in this city of Kulikovo?''

Yuri smiled at her compliment "I work for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a rather boring job. I'm hopeful to become a diplomat, though I am too young. I used to be in the army, during the revolution" he replied as they walked down the streets. "I was born in the city of western city of Postovo, but I moved here a a year ago."

''I am sure one day you will be a diplomat. I am from Thetania. My brother, Giovanni Monet was part of the Great Hell or our civil war. It was pure chaos and despair. Giovanni's brother, Joseph Monet who leads Thetania, his daughter, Michelle has HIV and/or AIDS. In Thetania, I have a good life, awesome career and everything works out for me. Life couldn't be better for me.'' Bianca said.

"I'm happy that your life is going great. Our nation was once ruled by a brutal fascist regime. The workers finally rebelled and the bloody revolution lasted for over two years. I was caught up in it and became a soldier. Our Prime Minister, dantes was a hero of the revolution. I myself was wounded and later on recieved the Worker's Medal of Bravery." Yuri replied, he thought of his own life, his job was tough, his girlfriend left him and among other things but he kept a bright expression on his face.

''Thank you for saying that. Your revolution is like our Great Hell. Your old fascist regime is like our STO who butchered our people. Joseph Monet is my second brother, Giovanni, Joseph and I are all related. Joseph was the one who promoted a ''Thetanian Reformation.'' During the Great Hell, I watched as people suffered. My brother, Giovanni is well known for taking the bullet for Joseph's daughter when a man tried to shoot her. It is an honor to meet a war veteran like yourself.'' Bianca said. ''What in the city shall we see first?''

"The best part of the city is 'The Old District'. It's the oldest part of the city and full of beautiful buildings, some dating back as far as two hundred years, it's not that far of a walk" Yuri replied and they continued walking down the avenues full of people. "Some of the buildings still have damage to them" he said and pointed out the damage on some buildings, some bullet marks on the walls.

''Despite the damage, the buildings are still nice to look at.'' Bianca said as she walked through the Old District, admiring everything she saw. ''Yuri, thanks for showing me the city.'' ''Yuri, perhaps after showing me the city, you can show me where you work. So I get a picture of you at your job.''

'Im glad you enjoyed seeing the Old District. My job is a bit of a distance away. Sadly, visitors are only allowed in the lobby and a few parts of the Foreign Affairs Building. My department is off limits. If I showed you it, I will have to kill you" he joked "If you want we can go there".

''I would like to go there. Plus, you made a good joke there.'' Bianca said, smiling. ''I like you, Yuri. Your letter was 100% truth.'' Bianca said. She seemed to like the time she was having with him.

Yuri was feeling hopeful "Thank you, Bianca. I've been enjoying this time with you as well." he replied with a smile "Your letter too sounded truthful"

''You are most welcome. Also, thank you for saying that. You are truly a nice person.'' Bianca said. As they walked, she said ''Mind if we hold hands?''

They had only known each other for a day but he took it as a good sign ". You seem to be a good woman and not at all" he replied and slowly brought his hand up and held hers as they walked down the street. "Do you want to get something to eat first?" he asked

''Something to eat would be great. Also, your hand feels warm.'' Bianca said, smiling.

Yuri smiled back, Bianca seemed to be very firndly "I know a great place just around the corner" he said as the two of them walked down the sidewalk and sat down at a table in the open-air part of the cafe. It was evening and the streets were still alive "Tell me something about you" Yuri asked as they ordered their meals.

''Something about me? Well, I can speak different languages, including Thetanian.'' Bianca said. ''Hello, Yuri. My name is Bianca.'' Bianca said in the Russian language. ''Would you like to know anything else? Also, tell me something about you.''

"Wow, you speak Russian? Though, Kulikovian Russian is a bit different but that's fine" he said. "Well-I hate my current position. being an aide sucks, it's long hours and less pay. Hopefully, I will get a position as a diplomat soon, what is it you do for a living?" he asked.

''I do speak Russian as well as other languages. What do I do for a living? I am currently a headmistress, the headmistress of Thetanius Memorial School. Thetanius is one of the Heroes of Thetania. He is well respected in my nation. I do have many degrees, etc in all kinds of fields. I can do many careers. Also, perhaps you'll find a better position or career.'' Bianca said.

"That sounds interesting" Yuri replied as he took a sip of his drink "I do want to stick with it. I view this as just a speed bump in my career. One of which I intend to get over soon" he replied, forgettng to mention all the other speed bumps.

''I am sure you will get over it. I like my career. The kids like me a lot at the school. I also help with Joseph's daughter. Her condition is not good though.'' Bianca said.

"I'm sorry to hear that" Yuri replied. Bianca seemed to be quite outgoing and he enjoyed talking with her, she semed to be enjoying herself as well. Yuri's moral boosted. "I think I'm not advancing very far is because of my young age" he replied.

''Thank you. I hope she can pull through.'' Bianca said. ''Age does not matter that much, I guess. A manager would be ridiculed for hiring a old man with no skill instead of a young man with skill, simply because the man with skills was of young age.'' Bianca stated. ''I hope the food of Kulikovo is good.'' Bianca said with a smile.

"Yes, Kulikovian food is good. There are many local dishes to choose from. Also, there are many international foods as well. The nation is very diverse." Yuri replied.

''I hope to try out Kulikovan food and drink. I like to try new things.'' Bianca said. ''I am sure Socialism will work here. It depends on the people. For example, some say people like Stalin or Mao or others twisted Communism around from its original form. I am not saying Communism and Socialism are the same, some think this and some do not.'' Bianca stated.

Hmmm...

"You'll like it, Bianca" Yuri replied "What kind of food do they have inThetania?" he asked as the waitress brought the drinks.

''Thank you for the drinks.'' Bianca said to the waitress. ''Yuri, Thetanian food is good. I believe it differs in the regions of my nation but overall it is very good.''

"I'm sure each region has deliciou dishes" Yuri replied as he took a sip of his drink.

''I already told you.'' Bianca said, smiling as she took a drink.

"Sorry, I have a bit of a hearing problem. I blame artillery for it" Yuri replied

''That is alright. I understand. What will we be having?'' Bianca said. She liked Yuri and enjoyed her time with him.

"Well, I don't know about you but I'm up for some steak. This place here has some special spices that they put on it to make it the best steak in the world, in my opinion" he replied. Yuri smiled. He was enjoying his time with Bianca, she seemed to like him enough.

''I will try some steak too. It would be nice to try some.'' said Bianca. ''I would also like those special spices on my steak too.''

"Excellent, you won't regret it" Yuri replied. The waitress came by and they gave told her what they wanted. A bit later the waitress returned with the food, the aroma of the food was mouth watering. "Now you'll get to taste real food" he joked.

Bianca tried some of the steak. ''This is excellent and well made. Never have I tried anything better.'' Bianca said. ''Does this restaurant have any of those huge steaks?''

"I'm glad you like it. Yes, there is a contest where if you eat their largest steak that there's a prize. I tried and failed before. It nearly killed me" he replied and began to eat.

''Can I try the contest? I am sure I could eat some of it. I would like to.'' Bianca said. She liked to try things like this, so she asked Yuri if she could. Bianca also liked eating her steak as well.

Yuri couldn't believe it "Are you serious?! You really want to try it?" he exclaimed. At the same time he thought how pathetic he would feel if she won "If you want" he gave in.

Bianca said ''Yes, I do want to try it.'' She finished her steak and called a waiter. ''Yuri, ask the waiter if I could get the huge steak now.''

"After already eating you want to tackle that behemoth. Oh well, waitress! My date here would like to try the steak contest" he called out. The waitress was a bit confused
"Yes-sir" she stuttered and told the cook. A bit later they brought out the giant steak and set it down for Bianca.
"Good luck" the waitress said. Other people began to watch.

Bianca nodded and began eating the lethvian steak. She continued to eat and after a while, she was almost finished. When she had one piece left, she threw it up in the air and caught it with her mouth. After she ate it, she said ''That was an immense but excellent and tasty steak.'' Everyone was cheering and clapping for her. ''Yuri, that was amazing. Wait till I tell my family in Thetania!''

Yuri's jaw dropped. He couldn't believe what he just saw. She did something that he couldn't do 'all she needs to do is crush a beer can on her forehead now' he thought.

"I'm having trouble believeing it myself. I'm sure your family will be stunned. A'are you alright?" he asked.

Bianca stood and did a cartwheel. ''Of course I am alright!'' she said, doing backflips before stopping. ''I could upset my stomach, I should not do that.''
''My family will be stunned completely when they hear the news. Also, Yuri, what is the prize they offer?'' Bianca said.

''May I get a drink, I want to wash it all down.''

"Uh-we get the meal for free and there's a 25 Kulka prize" he replied still stunned "And the next time we come here we get a free meal"

''That's a great prize.'' Bianca said. ''Before we go, I would want a drink. Also, thanks for taking me here.''

The waitress brought them a drink, she was a bit bewildered by it too.

"It was my pleasure, I don't deserve to be in the presence of greatness" Yuri smirked.

''Yuri, you are a interesting person.'' Bianca said. Bianca took the drink and said ''Yuri, what is the name of this restaurant?''

"Well, after what you just did I pale in comparison. Uh-this place is named the Red Wolf. Not a pretty name but a symbolic one." Yuri replied

''Yuri, I still like you, regardless. Also, it is a nice name for the restaurant.'' Bianca said. After they left, Bianca said ''Where do we go now? Perhaps you can show me where you work?''

"If you want" Yuri replied. They hopped onto a bus which took them to the Jonensberg Governmental District which was where most of the government building were. Like the General Assembly and the People's National Tribunal. It was a few miles ride to the district. He pointed out the General Assembly Building it was of classical design. Nearby was the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a more modern building. All the while they chatted and laughed.
"There it is" Yuri pointed out as they stepped off the bus. They walked towards it.
"There's the statue of Valerik Hylland. He helped secure foreign aide during the revolution and brokered several allainces. He was also one of the leaders and one of the founders of the Worker's Congress, our first legislative body during the war. And there's the Ministry over there" Yuri said as he held hands with Bianca.

''It is good you know of your nation's heroes. I know much about mine.'' Bianca said, admiring the scenery and the places he worked at. ''Can I see your office?'' Bianca asked. ''You are a handsome, caring young man. Thank you for everything.''

Yuri smiled "Thank you Bianca, you're very considerate and sweet." he replied and he escorted her into the building. He flashed his security badge and the guard waved them through
"Security could be better, though" he joked and took her up to the floor where he worked. There weren't many people in the building, it was late. He held her hand and they walked down a row of offices
"This is mine" he said. It was a small office with the basics. "You shouldn't even be allowed in here but ti's no big problem, you're not a spy are you?" he asked with a smile.

Bianca sort of blushed at his compliments. ''Thank you for saying that about me.'' she said.
''This is a nice office. And I am not a spy, I'm just a member of the Monet family of Thetania.'' Bianca said, smiling. ''Yuri, are you related to Andropov who was the predecessor of Chernenko of the Soviet Union? I think it was him who let Samantha Smith tour the USSR.''

"No, I'm not related. Andropov is a common last name" he replied.

''I understand. I am related to Joseph Monet, I am one of his sisters.'' Bianca said. ''Yuri, what shall we do next? I am having so much fun with you.''

"I don't think it could get any better. Your company made it all worth it. My office is uh-the best part of the city" he joked "Perhaps take a boat ride down the Tyselska River. If cuts the city in half. It's relaxing and there are many sights to see. The lights of the city especially down by the water front are very beautiful" Yuri suggested.

Bianca blushed at his compliment. ''Yuri, a ride through the river would be great. I am sure the lights make the city even more beautiful than it is now and you more handsome than you are now.''

Yuri smiled "Well, I think they'd compliment your face more than mine" he said and they left the building, the guard asleep as usual. The night air was warm and people went about the streets. The river was wide and boats traveled up and down it. They boarded a small boat where there were several other people. Bianca and Yuri went to the back of the ferry and looked out.
"Isn't it wonderful" he said "Sometimes I'd go on the ferry and just watch everything for a while"

Bianca blushed more after hearing his compliment. ''Stop Yuri, you are going to make me blush myself to death.'' Bianca joked. She went on the boat and said ''I agree, it is nice to relax and watch everything go by.'' ''Yuri, where does the river lead?''

"Then I guess I'm a murderer" he joked "The river leads to north and branches off and leads southeast to the ocean, many many miles away." Yuri replied he gazed out at the city from both sides. The Kulikovian flag waved in the wind.

''Very funny.'' Bianca said. ''What a nice view of the city, it is peaceful indeed. Yuri, you are a sweet, caring person.'' Bianca said, giving him a kiss on the cheek before blushing again, hoping she did not make him uncomfortable or something.

Yuri's heart skipped a beat, she kissed him. He felt nervous, they had only known each other for over a day and she already kissed him. Usually due to all his failed relationships he would pull back, but he didn't. Something was different about Bianca. He felt warm and loved around her. A million things rushed through his mind. His heart began to beat faster now. Yuri turned to her his eyes looking into hers. He leaned in closer, closing his eyes and kissed her on the lips, his hands holding hers.

Bianca felt Yuri kiss her, on the lips. She held on to him and returned the kiss. After a while, she said ''Yuri, I don't know what to say.'' Bianca held his hands and said ''You can tell me your feelings, I don't mind.''

Yuri smiled "I think your the most wonderful woman in the world. I feel happy when I'm around you" Yuri replied.

''You think this? I also want to share my feelings. You are one of the most wonderful men I have ever met. I feel glad when I am with you.'' Bianca said before giving him another kiss.

"I don't think it, I know it" he replied with a smile. Yuri realized that she was different and he didn't want to lose her. He thought of what could be between the two of them.

''I know my feelings as well.'' Bianca said. She looked into his eyes, saying ''I am beginning to have new feelings for you.'' She kissed him and held onto him, thinking as well at what could be.

Yuri's strong arms went around her and they stood there, embraced in each other's arms. The warm air blowing across the river.
"We should probably get off the boat before it takes us out of the city" he said.

''Yes, we should. We can't get lost.'' Bianca said. After they got off, Bianca said ''Yuri, perhaps you can show me your home?''

Yuri thought for a moment "Sure, it's too much of a walk so we'll have to ride the bus" Yuri replied as the ferry docked. They stepped off and the ferry continued on its' voyage. They got on a bus and it traveled through the city, Yuri pointed out other locations of interest along the way.

When they got to Yuri's home, Bianca said ''What a fabulous home you have. It is almost like mine.''

The two of them stepped in "You mean your apartment is as messy as mine?" Yuri said. Being single he didn't and having a rough work schedule made it hard for him to keep the place shinning. They entered into the main part where Bianca's belongings were.
"That's Valerik's doing" he commented. Only Valerik would do something like that.

''I live in a house or mansion, not an apartment. Also, you still have a good, cozy apartment.'' Bianca said. ''Where will I be sleeping tonight? I can sleep in the living room, I have no problem with it.''

"No, you can have my bed. This couch here folds out and I'll sleep on it." Yuri replied.

''No, you can have your bed. I can sleep on the couch. I don't mind it at all.'' Bianca said.

''It's not that big of a problem. This couch is so broken in you may slip into it and never see the light of day again. You can have my bed" he replied.

''I understand. Can you take me to your bed? I would like to see it.'' Bianca said.

Yuri put his keys on the counter and led her down the corridor to his room. He flicked on the light "Sorry for the mess" he said. There were clothes scattered about and various posters on the walls. Some of them political, some of them music groups. He gathered some clothes off of the bed and said "here it is, under all this mess"

''For a messy room, it is cozy.'' Bianca said, laying on the bed. ''Nice room, I seek you have a lot of interests.''

"Yes, I do" Yuri replied as he straigtened up a few things "I have posters from before, during, and after the revolution as a reminder and to show I'll never forget. And there are music posters as well"

''Can you explain the posters to me?'' Bianca asked. ''Thanks for letting me sleep on the bed.''

'It is no problem. These posters here are propoganda ones from the facist regime, here are some union protest and resistance posters. And here are posters and articles from when the old regime fell" Yuri explained.

"But, I don't want to bore you with them" Yuri said, noticing he was getting caught up in explaining the posters.

''You are not boring me at all. I find it fascinating and interesting.'' Bianca said.

"Thanks" Yuri replied, he relaxed a bit and took a seat on a chair. "It symbolizes the class struggle, the ideaological struggle" he siad.

''Populism is good in Thetania, I believe so. I have studied Communism and Socialism and read Marx's Manifesto.'' Bianca said.

"You have? It's a standard read in our political classes" Yuri replied "I have all sorts of books along those lines". He enjoyed knowing that Bianca shared the same beliefs as him.

''I have read it. I am not a Communist or anything but I am searching for something to believe. Right now, I believe in things like Respect for the People and the words of St. Paul ''What you sow so shall you reap.'' Bianca said.

"Those are good words to live by, Bianca. I'm glad that we share some of the same ideals" Yuri said with a smile.

''Thanks for saying that. Also, can I have a snack before I go to bed?'' Bianca said.

"Sure" Yuri replied and led her to the kitchen. It was small, there were still dishes in the sink and the cupboards didn't have alot on them. he brought out a plate of cookies
"You'll love these. I visited my parent's a few days ago. My mother makes the best cookies in all the Old District" he said.

''I would definately like to try these cookies out. Also, want to stay up late tonight? We can watch movies.'' Bianca said, liking the cookies.

Yuri took a cookie "That sounds great. Do you have a favorite movie?" he asked with a smile. he wasn't tired and it worked out just fine.

''I don't know if I do. How about the movie: Schindler's List?'' Bianca said.

"That's a good movie. I have it if you want to watch it" Yuri replied.

''You get it started, I'll bring the cookies and milk.'' Bianca said.

"Okay, better not eat them all before you get over here" he joked. Yuri went over to the couch and threw a shirt off it and put in the movie. He turned the lights down a bit. he didn't want her to trip over all his stuff.

''Don't worry, I won't eat them all!'' Bianca said, carrying the cookies and milk. She placed them down and then helped turn on the movie. As they ate, she said ''Dipping cookies into milk makes me feel like a little girl again.'' She liked watching the movie with Yuri, enjoying every moment of it. She hoped the future carried more good things with it.

Yuri sat there watching the movie with Bianca. He put his arm around behind her and they contineud viewing the movie. "Yeah, it's nice to feel younger once and a while" he replied.

Yuri emerged from the water "No, can't say I have" he splashed her and grabbed her and picked Bianca up again and tossed her into the water again. He was having a good time.

Yuri smiled "That would take a very long time" he replied. The sun was gleaming down on them. It was a hot but beautiful day. Dozens of people strolled down the board walks along the river. Birds flew about in the sky.
"There's alot to see. Southern Kulikovo is the greatest by far. There are mountains, hills, and forests with rivers cutting through them. It's a majestic sight. I like to go there and fish, hunt, camp, and hike. I'm an outdoorsman" he said as he laid back on the towel.

''It would be worth the long time.'' Bianca said. ''Southern Kulikovo does sound like a nice place. I am an outdoorswoman myself.'' Bianca remarked. She got up and said ''Let's go into the city. We should get ready, if we are to go to Port Archangel.'' She began packing her things, still enjoying the time with Yuri, her new boyfriend and perhaps one day, more than that, if things clicked.

"Then prepare yourself for an adventure" Yuri said as they packed at his apartment. Yuri called his work place and asked for some days off. They were finally ready and they walked out of the apartment.

"We'll need to take a train. It's not far enough to take a plane, besides I don't like to fly." he said as they got in a taxi which took them to a train station. Most of the trains and companies were owned by the government. Kulikovian Railroads was its' name.

''I am ready for an adventure. And a train would be great.'' Bianca said. She got on the train and sat in the window seat. ''Yuri, I am going to get some good pics and video with my camera.'' Bianca said.

The train began to pull out of the station. It raveled through the city for a while and they saw several othe rpoints of interest. Finally, it left the city to reveal the surrounding small hills and towns. It was very scenic "It sure is something to tape, I must admit" he said. The train ride would take a few hours but he would enjoy those few hours with her.

Bianca taped everything she could and enjoyed her time with him. When they arrived in the port city, Bianca said ''Look, Yuri! We are here! Let us explore and see your family!''

Yuri woke up and saw they were approaching the city "That's great" he said as he rubbed his eyes. The train moved down the tracks as it came closer to the city.
"Bianca, look over there. You can see the Angels Gate. It's two angels, one holding a sword and one holding an olive leaf. They are ontop of an archway and memorial to the revolution. I always loved looking at them" he said as he gazed at the Angels.

''The Angels's Gate looks nice. Can we get a picture in front of it?'' Bianca asked. ''I love you, Yuri. You are so much fun to be with.'' Bianca said, kissing him before setting up the camera.

"Okay, a picture infront of them would be nice" he said "I love you too. It's truly one of the most beautiful monuments in Kulikovo. It's good luck for couples to go to the angel who holds the olive leaf and kiss right next to it" he said. The train pulled into the station and they got off.

''Perhaps we can kiss to get good luck?'' Bianca said. They went to the gate and when she set up the camera, went with Yuri to the angel with the olive leaf and they kissed, the camera taking a picture. ''That was a great picture.'' Bianca said, showing Yuri the picture. ''Yuri, can we see your family?'' Bianca asked.

"That is a great picture. Okay, let's go see my parents. They'll be thrilled to see me and I know they'll like you" Yuri replied as they got in a taxi. It took them through the city to his parent's house. It was a modest house along one of the boulevards. They walked up to it and ringed the doorbell. It opened and Yuri's father, Nicolai. He was in his fifties and with peppered hair and a beard.
"Yuri, it's great to see you!" he exclaimed and gave Yuri a strong hug "And who is this young lady you have with you?" he asked.

''I am sure they'll like to see me and you. It is also a good picture.'' Bianca said. When she saw Yuri's father, she smiled and respectfully said, ''I am Bianca Monet, sister of Joseph Monet of Thetania.'' ''You must be Yuri's father. It is an honorable pleasure to meet you indeed.'' Bianca stated. She wanted to be respectful towards Yuri's family, knowing he would towards hers.

Nicolai looked at her "It's a pleasure to meet you, Bianca" he replied with a smile "Yuri, why aren't you as polite as her?" he asked and laughed. Yuri and Bianca walked into the house. Milena, Yuri's mother walked into the rom.

When Bianca entered Yuri's old room, she said ''What a nice room. You know, if I was a girl in Kulikovo, I would have wanted to be a friend at school of yours.''

Yuri smiled "Really, eh? I was a ladies man as a teenager" he said with a smirk "Well, no Kulikovian girls were ever in this room to tell you the truth.". His room had more posters on the walls. He never brought any girls in his room. Having two siblings and parents made it hard for him to do so when he was a teenager.

''You still are a ladies man. I don't mind if any girls were in here or not. I had some boys myself, but not in a sexual way really.'' Bianca said. ''I would have been your friend in elementary school too, if I was a girl in Kulikovo.'' ''Do you think we can have dinner here, with your folks?''

"I'm hardly a ladies man. You would've done great on the gymnastics team for my old school" Yuri replied with a smile "Sure, we can have dinner here. My mother's a great cook. She enjoys cooking to tell you the truth"

''Fascinating jobs, Mr and Mrs. Andropov.'' Bianca remarked. ''I wonder what is for dessert.'' Bianca said. She then looked at Yuri and whispered ''Your family is fascinating. Thanks for letting me meet them.''

"Thanks, I'm sure your family is just as fascinating" Yuri replied.

"Well, I have blueberry cheesecake for desert" Melina replied as she brought it out and set it on the table. Nicolai reached for a slice but was hit on the hand with a spoon by Melina. "Wiat until Bianca gets a slice, you mooch" she said.

"keep that away from Bianca, she'll inhale it" Yuri said as a warning.
"Nonsense" Melina responded and put a slice on Bianca's plate "I hope you enjoy it"

''They are indeed. Perhaps you would like to meet them one day?'' Bianca said.

Bianca smiled, this dessert she liked. She then looked to Yuri and smiled ''I'll exhale it straight at you, Yuri.'' Then she began eating the cake, saying ''What great cake, Mrs. Andropov. I am glad I have the privilage of eating here.''

"Flatery gets you everywhere" Melina said with a smile "Yuri! How comes you don't compliment me more?" she asked.
"Uh-the food is great, mom, thank you for making it" he replied in a childish tone. "I would like to meet your family, someday" Yuri said as he turned to Bianca.

''I am sure you can meet them someday.'' Bianca said. ''Yuri, what do you want to do now?''

"Yuri can get the hell out of my house. He's back for only a few hours and is already eating me out of house and home" Nicolai said in a sarcastic tone, he hit Yuri in the arm.
"Fine" Yuri said "Bianca, I'd like to take on a tour of the city" he said to her "Don't mind my dad, he's just joking...I hope"

Yuri got up "New Archangel has much to offer" he said to Bianca. "We should go check out some of the places, and let these two bicker about whatever they have to"

"What are you talking about? I haven't done anything to cause your mother to nag me about" Nicolai said as he stretched.
"Not yet..." Milena said as she was in the kitchen "You two go have fun"

As they left the house, Bianca asked ''Yuri, what will we be doing first here?''

Yuri thought as they walked out "Well-There's the Boardwalk" Yuri replied "There's all sort of stuff to do there. They have games, a ferris wheel, all sorts of stuff. It's on the beach. The place is similar to Coney Island. It's alot of fun" he said as they walked down the street. He was having such a great time with her, he was happy.
