Malkyer

No, I don't mean "Bush War" as in good ol' Dubya and Iraq. Just to clear that up. Now that that's out of the way...
The Premise
I'd like to start a nice counter-insurgency RP, modeled on the "bush wars" of the late 1970s in southern Africa, in which South Africa, Rhodesia, and Portugal fought long and militarily successful, politically disastrous campaigns against communist and black nationalist insurgents.
Background
The Imperial Commonwealth of Malkyer has just finished fighting a war, in which one of the major fronts was the Viceroyalty of the Cape of Good Hope. During the war, rumors spread about independence for the colonies in exchange for loyalty during the war; such independence, however, was never officially offered nor granted. Many groups in southern Africa, mostly black nationalists and leftists, but interspersed with right-wing whites and ornery colonists, are clamoring for independence. Both the Viceroyal and Imperial governments are generally ignoring these petitions, focusing more on rebuilding the parts of the Empire devastated by war. Some of the more desperate factions are preparing for violence.
Where You Come In
Insurgencies cannot last without a refuge. This refuge can be a physical one (like the Viet Cong fleeing into North Vietnam or Cambodia during the Vietnam War), or a "haven" of continuous funding and supplies (the CIA provided such to the Afghans during the Soviet invasion in the 1980s).
I need some nations who, for whatever reason, want to see the Imperial Commonwealth out of Africa. You can RP as rebels and insurgents, supply them with funding or weapons, or have a cadre of your military train and lead them against the forces of order.
Insurgents:
Tinsuvilia
Kulikovo
"Forces of Order":
Malkyer
Khailfah al Musilmeen
Jagada
Upper Weston
Insurgent Supporters/Suppliers:
Tinsuvilia
Gruenberg
Amazonian Beasts
Mondoth
Liberated New Ireland
Note:
I am no longer accepting applications, as this has gotten pretty full. I will type an intro for the IC thread, and once that is up I will post the link in this thread, and TG to those involved.
