I'm new and I wanted a brief explanation on the importance on buying weapons and how to use them.

Thanks.

Hi. Welcome to International Incidents. First off, you should read the stickies - the three threads 'stickied' to the top of this forum. Second off, remember that this is a free-form forum in which people's nationstates interact. If you feel that you need, or want, to purchase weaponry for your nation, then it is your choice to do so.

If you are going to war (or you want to defend yourself), you are going to want weapons. If someone invades you and you have not RPed weapon existance, you will die. Bottom-line.

So you can do two things:

A. RP the creation of your own (feasible) weapons.

or

B. RP the purchase of your army from one of the fine storefronts here. (My storefront is below in my signature: GAFE) You would get a discount at my store probably because you are probably small.

Once you have the weapons, you can RP using them to defend or attack.

Welcome to NationStates. Please have a good time and read the threads stickied to the top of the forum. If you need an ally, just ask.

As for how to buy weapons...

Go to a storefront thread, or ask a player who you know sells weapons, about what he sells. Find what you want, state how many of each you want to buy, tally up the cost and ask for it. The storefront owner will confirm the order, and you will recieve your weapons in real-life hours.

As for using them...

If you fall into a war with someone, review your equipment. Post using whatever you are using. For example, if I rush the enemy with tanks, Icould be using my XM-1 82-ton MBTs... or I could be using XL-1 50-ton LBTs. Or XS-1 160-ton HBTs. Depending on what piece of equipment you have it will perform differently. My XM-1s are slow. The PT-72 is fast. (PT-72 being an amphibious Soviet tank.)

Any other questions, feel free to ask.
