So your clip alone will weight near 6-7 pounds. As a Beta-C mag only has 90 rounds; 10 rounds on yours and weighs near 8-9 pounds. Also; how is your gun so damn light?"

You should expect it to melt after sustained shooting; or to crack easily after abuse of the gun. I know you extended the clip but if you did it would be nearly 3 feet long!

hummmmmmm i change the round to 5.56 and make ligher and smaller chip You said so your self you used NATO rounds so that'd be 5.56 x 45. The clip would be about two feet lond; still fucking outragous but still about a foot shorter. I suggest use a flat magazine feed.

standad 7.56mm or 9.56mm. or the 5.56 mm and the new protype 12.7mm round or really small 4.56 mm round caseless

i never had any promblems with it.

OOC: I see several problems. Number one, a mostly-plastic weapon means it won't be worth a crap in the field. Even composites are highly vulnerable to wear and tear on the mechanical parts. Besides that, M16s have plenty of composites in them and they still weigh almost 9 pounds.

The gun fires over two miles, with a muzzle velocity of around 2,000 meters per second? That's almost 1 mile per second. So the bullet has 2.5 seconds of flight time before it falls to the ground?

2,000 meters per second is 100mps HIGHER than a Kinetic Energy Penetrator round fired from a tank gun.

1) Your gun would probably blow apart, since it's constructed of such lightweight materials.

2) The cartridge would have to be beyond magnum, probably magnum times two. That basicly means the cartridges would be about the size of a .50 caliber round. Yet you're fitting 30 of them into a clip?

3) The recoil would be enormous.

4) There's no way you'd be able to fire it repeatedly semi-auto from the shoulder with any accuracy or speed.

5) It'd be .. REALLY loud. Not just the powder discharge, but the hypersonic speed of the bullet would create a lot of noise. Not to mention, unless the bullet was nearly pefect, it'd either

A) Shatter from air friction
B) Go off-course randomly and dangerously after a short distance

Sigh. Number one, if it's that lightweight, it's going to be a toy practically, like the Uzi. Or at least a sub-machine gun.

This means a lower caliber weapon, half the muzzle velocity, less accuracy and so on.

or take the weapon out of service and use the old AK-47
