Scientists aboard the sub out the finishing touches on the counter-chemical. It was somewhat tricky to make, but not too risky. It could cause you to develop allergies, but that was about it.

The chemical agent had been tested by Kura on various chemicals. As it would seem, the counter chemical was efficient at destroying the chemicals it was put on. It worked like anllergy. It would attack foreign substances like the chemicals. Although one of the ingredients was skin ells, so it was not too harmful to humans when it came into contact. The chemical if spilled on a human would not identify the skin as part of it. That way the skin would not be penetrated causing it to flow into the bloodstream, making the infected person allergic to nearly everything.

Of course their were cases where small amounts of the chemical seeped thorugh the skin and through the veins. The white blood cells attacked them, but only eradicated parts. Those cases developed allergies to milk and cats.

The Aesonic method of disposal consisted of a similar chemical, although contact with skin or direct inhalation of this would be fatal. It also dissolved pencil lead, through an as of yet unexplained chemical process.

One of the scientists got some on himself. Of ocurse, he just took some mold powder from a small bag. The chemical was biodegradable, making removalof the chemical easier. You couldn't wash the stuff off with wate,r because it attacked the water. the mold powder seemed immune and speeded up the decomposition process.
