Well, as the title says, I want an FT War. The plot behind it, I figure, could go something like this:

On one of it's most distant colonies, archaeologists have discovered an extremely ancient and powerful artifact of Chaos(You know, just your generic item of unimaginable power). And the Emperor, fearing what would happen if it were to fall into the wrong hands, ordered the item sealed and brought directly to him. How ever, the ship transporting the item mysteriously crashed en route to Earth on a barren and deserted planet. The seal placed on it was broken, and now the items chaotic aurora is growing at a rapid pace, summoning anyone or anything adept enough to feel it.

Well, that's the just of it. Of course the Tocrowkian fleets are racing to recover it before anyone else can get their hands on it, but by now the aurora can be felt millions of light years away.

It should also be noted that my opponent(s) in this RP don't have to be evil, either. They can be other "good guys", but with different objectives then my own. (My objective here would be the capture the item, not destroy it.)

The device was built about 1.3 billion years ago, during the sundering of the Eternals which resulted in the separation of the Eternals into the two races that exist now. The device was built by a group of Eternals that had organized on a planet in the hope of creating a artifact strong enough to rebuild the golden age of the Eternals and as well prevent the predicted sundering the Eternal race,

To do this the branches of the Eternals began to work on a project which would posses the power to attain their goals. And so for thousands of years these powerful and extremely intelligent Eternals labored endlessly as they developed the device that would make their hopes come true. Yet, the project needed an energy that was powerful enough so they did the unthinkable of destroyed a galaxy full of life to create a type of battery powerful enough to power the great machine. In doing so the machine so became corrupted, but through this it exceeded the hopes of even the Eternals who had designed it. But, as well half of the Eternals now sought to repent for this and made the decided to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to make the machine something of light, their lives would perish when it was first turned on and their essences would be put into the machine.

Yet, as last they were able to finish the machine that would make their hopes come true. Now at a supposedly glorious event, the machine was activated, but something went wrong, as according to the plans of the other half of it’s makers, half of the Eternals who had made it turned into pure light and were taken into the machine and made it a device that would not be able to be used for good or evil. As for the other half, they swore never to reveal the device to any other Eternals and that half went to join the Dark Eternals in their rebellion against the Eldest One of the Eternal Race and against the ancient practices of good and light of the Eternals.

Powers:
Dark:
Able to give the user life without death due to old age or disease, as well the user is made able to resist powers that would eradicate lesser beings, but at the cost of the lives of a thousand sentient beings that would feed the machines desire for blood.

Able to give the user the strength, knowledge, and power of a thousand men, it literally takes this from the sacrifice of a thousand men.

Able to destroy an entire planet in return for the lives of a hundred persons.

Able to consume the life force of an entire star system, but at no benefit to the user.

Able to alter the user’s body into nearly anything, (for example cannot change the person to an eternal), in return the lives of five hundred persons.

Able to control an entire star system’s population, but at a cost of a hundred persons a week.

Able to change or read the minds of anyone, save Eternals, in exchange for the life another person.

Able to kill people I the most horrible way possible.

Light:
Able to resurrect any being

Able to heal any wound.

Able to reverse aging.

Able to provide a shield for an entire planet.

Able to harness the power of a star to give power to any ship or planet.

Able to protect a group of people from any injury, from anything.

Able to give a person the powers of a member of the Eternal Watch.

There are number of different powers that I have not yet stated.

I'd assume yes on the plasma, since my weapons are plasma based (essentially SW turbolasers, which many consider plasma). Not so sure about the star weapon...

I'll start it as soon as I get the chance. Plasma weapons are a yes, it is FT after all. As for your launcher, how do you plan to use it?

Well the Star Launcher would basically be fired, burn through armor (it IS a star) and then it'd go mini-supernova inside the enemy ship. I'd use it as an expirimental, rather glitchy weapon.

No, plasma weapons aren't lasers. They're called turbolasers for some very odd reason, but a laser is a continuous beam of energy, much like lasers used for cutting. Plasma weapons fire... Well, bolts of energy. In SW they took on a teardrop or line shape.

Lasers are meant for precise and powerful shooting, with very slow rates of fire. Plasma weapons, like turbolasers, are made for massive barrages and salvos, much like modern day naval guns. What you need is entirely up to your fighting style.

Well then, my ships officially have lots of plasma guns, and a few big lasers. Plusa lots of little, anti-fighter lasers, and anti-fighter missiles. Are anti-ship missiles a good idea?
