A great black and blue Star Fortress trimmed with white floats through dead space. Below this massive structure burns a planet even as warriors sweep across it. Great Marines lead by their Primarch Kivpa Hekis himself. Kivpa Hekis was born of the same flesh as Xander Darkthrope and Kailen. His nation however had been destroyed by a sun that had collapsed to form a white hole. Very few forces survived and now they banded together in a war fleet and began reclaiming worlds from aliens and daemons alike. They were the Hunters of Darkness Space Marine Legion and there was no other Space Marine Legion like them in existence and they had a vengeance and hate for those who did dark deeds like none other. How they differed from most legions was the fact that all the Marines were capable of flight to a great degree. They were a Legion that had the ability to soar with the greatest of ease. They also had a habit of striking from cloaked positions and striking ruthlessly with their bolter rifles which they could use to snipe a fly out of mid air. They were in all essence a combination of Star Foxes, Vindicare, and Space Wolves designed for stealth but then to strike in brutal combat. Few could stand before their awesome might. As Kivpa watched the planet burn he boarded his Thunderhawk and flew to the Star Fort Hunter's Lair and watched as his personal Battle Barge Dark's Bane was readied for battle once more and for it's next jump. Kivpa watched carefully in space and knew that soon the Ordo Hereticus and the Star Foxes would be upon them. He had been sensing them for a lot lately and he was sure they were looking for him.

OOC:I'd like to join this, but I'd like to know... would my tech be acceptable? On my ships I have laser gatlings, missile launchers, plasma beams, and mini-star launchers.

OOC Depends on what mini-star launchers is everything else sounds fine.

A silent dark orange Battle Barge with four similarly designed Strike Cruisers in it's wake folded out system as an Inquisitor stepped forward on the bridge to look out at the open surroundings. This was Inquisitor Seva of the Ordo Hereticus and she smiled as she knew she was with the by far most intact Space Marine Legion in service of the Emperor's name. She was aboard the Fox Fang one of the oldest Battle Barges possessed by the Star Foxes Space Marine Legion and the only one to incorporate females. It was not unusual for any vessel not to catch even the slightest inkling of the Star Fox vessels which were so justly reknowned for being adept with their stealth missions. The Inquisitor knew it would only be time before others found out about this deadly Legion. She looked out slowly and Captain Auroros gasped sharply and whispered a short prayer to the Emperor. As the Inquisitor tracked her sight she saw a breathtaking and somewhat horrifying sight, a fleet of four hundred strong Space Marine vessels grouped around a Star Fort. Librarian Pothos stepped forward and said to the Inquisitor, "He knows we are after him and he knows we are near. He readies his forces once more for an attack on yet another world." Inquisitor Seva turned back and smiled, "Then we cannot let him."

Kivpa strode casually to his armor room on the Dark's Bane inside rifles and bolters hung on racks while in the center of the room rested a large bow. It was actually one of the Primarchial weapons created by the Emperor for him. It had great and terrible destructive power and was a lethal weapon in his hands. He stretched out his arm and grasped it slinging the weapon across his back. And hefting his combi-rifle he turned to walk out the door however he paused for only a moment and looked behind him. He walked over to his desk and picked up a cigar and lit it letting out a long draw and then sticking it into the corner of his mouth he walked out of the room. He quickly arrived on the bridge of his Primarchial flagship and looked out of the viewports smiling he knew they would be here whether they could find any trace of them or not. He had left them an obvious trail after all as well as a tempting one.
