Gormoria

Prologue…..
The land of Gormoria was one of several eastern European nations under the control of the Soviet Union. This small eastern European State lived as oppressed Satellite State of the Soviet Union until the Soviet Union's tragic collapse. The land was sent into an immediate civil war as the old Gormorian Army broke into political divisions and battled to dominate this poor and now defenseless land.
The people had suffered the worst during this terrible time as hundreds of thousands of them were slaughtered in the brutal fighting that engulfed across the land. The war according to the news records lasted until May 1, 2006 when a young military officer named Joseph Corwin launched a surprise attack on the capital city of Gorinheim. This took the provisional military government by total and complete surprise.
The battle for Gormania was long and hard, for both sides as several armored tanks and mobile infantry divisions attacked the city and a vicious street fighting ensued as loyalist forces fought the radical yet brutal forces of Joseph Corwin. The battle was all for naught however, the Grand General Joseph Corwin had captured the nation's airforce early thus he began the bombing campaign against the city. The government shortly surrendered after the aerial bombers leveled several government buildings.
The self proclaimed Grand General Joseph Corwin upon taking the city. Promptly executed all the provisional government leaders. They were tortured in private for information about their friends and family and for their money. They were then upon completion executed by public beheading. The news report was shown across the world as images of several military generals who ruled the land like warlords were beheaded by an executioner's axe. The Grand General also proclaimed himself Grand Prince of Gormoria.
He declared that from now on the land of Gormoria was now a Principality and that it was to be ruled by the will of the Grand Prince and by his will alone. There were several people who objected. They soon found themselves tortured and forced to confess for their crimes and treason. They were latter beheaded or shot pending on if they were to have a formal display of the Grand Princes power. The Principality of Gormoria was a state under the absolute rule of the Grand Prince. The people cheered for their new leader who had ended the years of war and bloodshed, but they also feared him for his brutality and the power he represents..
Gorinheim (The Present)
The city of Gorinheim a city of 1 million inhabitants was still badly damaged from the intense fighting that had raged across the city. The Gormorian Principality Guard had been occupying this area securing his grace's new regime. They would then move out to secure the rest of the Grand Prince's realm once they had firmly established him on the throne. Their was fear that the people would rise against the Grand Prince and the Guard would never allow it..
The Grand Prince Joseph Corwin decided he better get his new regime recognized by the international community other wise they would try to destroy him for his brutal policies that he instated to secure his position in Gormorian society. He gave direct orders to one of his trusted advisors Joshua Herman. The newly declared Earl of Gormania the newly captured city that bordered the ocean...
