The sleek destroyer cut through the moon lit ocean waves like a wolf on the prowl, and though they expected nothing to happen, it was the nature of those of Wayawulf to always see danger where there was none. But the Destroyer Lupin was not out on simple patrol they were investigating a crime. Two trade ships bound for Wayawulf on the massive Salt Lake had been torpedoed and sunk in the narrow straits that opened up into the ocean. Kein Lust was their prime suspect though of course they had denied everything. And instead of reacting with fire and brimstone as was per custom in Wayawulf, they instead made visible for the still watchful world that Wayawulf would not take hostile actions. They too of course were still recuperating from the short but vicious war between Hollingsworth and Wayawulf which had drawn several nations into the violent fighting.
“Steady as she goes.” Murmured Captain Reynolds to the rest of the deck in his usual soft silent voice which did nothing to pierce the gloom of the utterly “no nonsense” air of the bridge. The destroyer was running full radar and sonar scans and as of yet had detected nothing, but Captain Reynolds had that “sixth since” about things, and usually it paid off to heed his “itch”.
It was not believed that the Kein Lust navy had anything more than a few old destroyers, cruiser and air craft carriers and a hand full of old U-Boats. He was just beginning to settle down when the crewmen at the sonar station stood up with a shout
“Torpedoes in the water bearing down at us off the port bow!” The words barely left the crewmen’s mouth before the destroyer was rocked by the explosion, her back broken the Lupin sunk before a single alarm could be broadcast

Spartan satellites only watched over head. As they normally do... Watching observing transmitting. KH-6's modified to produce high res, real time video at low cost observed the lake as the Destroyer blew up. After watching the explosion they noticed a battle would surely unfold and so they made the satellite go into Geo-Syncronis orbit in-which the satellite orbited the Earth with it's axis over the exact spot it was told to watch.

"Admiral we sank it." the captian said as the destroyer sank.
"Radio the wolfpack to move on but do so quietly, run above the surface and lets get the aircaft carriers to launch the plane and give us a visual."

Pythogrian sattelites observed, noting everything that happened.

President Archer clenched his jaws in frustration, a few trade ships sunk was one thing but a destroyer sunk before it could even reach the ocean was another thing. The counsel was in an outrage as they sought a victim to point the finger of blame at; Wayaworth was trying desperately to sooth the inflamed situation and President Archer was in a bind. His nation was still recovering from the war, and he was sure the world around him was edgy to the point of trigger happiness, but he had to do something…

(Two days later President Archer stands upon the balcony of the National Council Hall and addresses the huge crowds that had turned up for the occasion, millions more watched and listened on TVs and radios)

“Two days ago a destroyer named the Lupin flying the flag of Wayawulf was sunk not far off the cost of the Salt Lake, before that two trade ships were sunk, needless to say there were many lives lost. I have declared; that any vessel within Wayawulf waters is to seek port immediately…this effectively cuts off trade…in or out of the sea, this embargo affects every nation in the region, including the Empire of Lord Hollingsworth, Kein Lust, Coyo, Arcalime, the Empire of Verros, and the Theocracy of the Holy Divines. The blockade will remain in place until the culprits are found…and destroyed. That is all thank you.

To back up the blockade on the Salt Lake and the Ocean the Wayawulf military steps up the boarder security on all fronts until the nation bristles with defences in an action that tells the world "Wayawulf is deadly serious"

"Admiral the speech just said all ships should go to port."
"We will not go to port you orders are clear enough?"
"Yes sir."
"Then bearing 205 on my mark....mark."

Though Wayawulf was not a super power in the world, it was still a tough country used to the ways of war, and its navy was no different, at once the word was given and the aircraft carriers, the destroyers and cruisers and battleships sailed out to blockade the gap where the Salt Lake opened up into the sea. But the real focused was under the water, the Wayawulf submarine fleet ghosted under the waves hunting hungrily for an enemy (Rag tag collection of submarines some more advanced Foxtrot Soviet subs, others much older and still others top of the line, but hardly two of them alike but still deadly dangerous and hunting with a will.)

"Radio the wolfpack to stagger. I want all aircraft reports."

"Colonel send the new jets to survey the ocean if you see Wayawulf flags report it and commission a new destroy for them"
"Yes my Lord"

"My lord the destroyer has been commissioned"

The newly commissioned destroyer was really a blockade runner for the smuggling of weapons to other countries. The wolfpack from Kein Lust found it and destroyed it thinking it was from Wayawulf. This caused an uproar in Lord Hollingsworth.
"I want all the submarines in the Salt Lake destroyed. All those who do not properly hail their country will be sunk."

Over the cold, lonley waters, an Asgarnian Navy RG-129 'Firefly' was patrolling. At any one time, at least 10 RG-129's were flying around the world. The pilot was beginning his descent to 12,000 feet when a radio transmission broke the usual silence.

"Flight 501, this is Asgarnian Naval Command, please respond immediatley."

"Aye, Command. This is Flight 501, how can we be of assistance?"

"Reports are coming in regarding a possible terrorist attack at the following coordinates: 3.00-5/1154.7_MN23-RR3-1. Please respond for a recon sweep over the area."

"Aye, Command. What is the Urgency Level?"

"Urgency Level is 2-Red. Respond immediatley."

"On our way, Command."


The RG-129 ascended, and leveled out at 25,000 feet. The pilot entered in the coordinates, and the aircraft made the proper adjustments.


"Capitan? Why are we changing heading?" inquired a young camera operator.

"We've been called by Command to investigate a possible terrorist attack in some nation. Now man your post, or I'll throw you off this plane," the Pilot responded.


In Balkan City, The Sattelite Command Center became active. The Center Commander began barking orders. After the confusion, the monitors displayed the new trajectory of the AS-9 Permanent Orbit Sattelite. Within 10 minutes, it would be over the target.


At Hewlett Naval Base, 7 Asgarnian Naval Gunships were readied. They were all of the Kiwi Class gunship. The ANS Individual, Philosophy, Brilliant, Legion, Champion, Island Defender, and Diamondback were sent to sea. Their instructions were to provide defense for an aircraft carrier, soon to be dispatched...

“Depth charges away!” cried the sailors manning the charges, and with a “Thump!” the two charges shot over the sides of the destroyer Echoes of October. The scout plane overhead wheeled around for another sweep, undoubtedly signaling to the crew in the communications tower.
Ensign Johanna smiled as the depth charges were released, but suddenly grew serious when she began picking up transmissions in Hollingsworth.
“Sir you should listen to this.” She said worriedly to her CO.

The Wayawulf army was perched on the border of Kein Lust glaring down their throats ready to dash across the border as soon as the word was given...if it was given. six hundred thousand soldiers and four thousand tanks and APCs were locked, cocked and ready to rock, but it all waited upon the descion of one man...President Archer, who glared openly at the map in his office, he glared at the troublesome nation of Kein Lust, he glared and gritted his teeth.

The Hollingsworth fleet,which consisted of 5 crusiers, 6 destroyers, 2 battleships and an aircraft carrier, sailed through the foggy night on its way to the Wayawulf blockade.
"Bearing 155 all ahead full" was the command passed down the line as the fleet neared the warzone.

"Radio the Wayawulf fleet and let them know were joining the battle...on their side"
"Aye sir"

Alarms were raised all over the Wayawulf fleet as the Hollingsworth fleet took shape out of the fog, the jets upon the two air craft carriers were scrambled and rushed to get into the air, while the guns of the cruisers, destroyers and single massive battleship were brought to bear upon the still shadowy shapes of their one time enemy ships, their waited upon the razors edge for the order to fire…

Wayawulf and Hollingsworth, if you need help, I can help you two against him.

Technical difficulties had delayed the Hollingsworth’s transmission of peace for only a few minutes, but in those few minutes the fire power of both fleets were aimed almost point blank at each other until the communications officers of both sides frantically affirmed each others intentions, and just as things began to settle and communications were passed back and forth the heavy cruiser Dragons Back vanished in a massive explosion
“Torpedoes in the water, damn this sonar!” cried the sailor at the sonar station. The fleet scrambled to take up a defensive formation as torpedoes zoomed in from unseen subs.

Wayawulf and Hollingsworth, if you need help, I can help you two against him.

You could be of great help if you could supply as much modern weaponry to the armies of Wayawulf as possable heh we're using soviet and ww2 stuff so far:D

The aircraft carrier launched all 250 of its planes into the murky night. While the fleet turned head on into disaster.

And then it smartened up and approved the use of the 8th Imperial Fleet. It's yours for now.

Lord Hollingsworth moved his command headquaters to the capital of Wayawulf and with him brought 200,000 troops, 1500 tanks and APC's.

The ships of the Hollingsworth fleet charged into the onslaught of torpedoes to shield the surprised Wayawulf fleet and though it seemed as though the whole of their fleet was aflame they courageously pushed ahead. The Hollingsworth battleship Imminent Destruction, took three torpedoes as it sought to protect the Wayawulf air carriers. In an awesome show of strength the massive guns of the dieing battle ships blasted simultaneously into the water as its front began to slide beneath the depths. The Huge guns blasted the water into massive geysers. While the cruisers and destroyers lobbed depth charges into the water to explode violently blasting water high into the air, combined with the sound of hundreds of jets from both fleets rocketing into the air seemed to deafen every soul of both fleets…and then…it was over, won or lost it could not be told for their attackers were gone, leaving only the sound of the jets in the air and fast sinking ships of the gutted Hollingsworth fleet.
“Pass the command…flags at half mast…” whispered the Wayawulf captain to his staff officers “And contact the president.”

(President Archer once again found himself standing upon that dreaded balcony looking out over the crowds gathered together in the night like stars for they carried candles, one candle for each death at sea.)
“-through their selfless acts of heroism the men and women of the Hollingsworth navy put their lives aside to protect their once sworn and hated enemy, and through their courage lives were saved and a battle was won…we are still trying to find the nation responsible for these attack, and believe me…we have our suspicions, and for those of you out there who know what you are doing, let this be a warning…we are coming for you.”

-the nation of Kein Lust secretly capsizes all the ships in her fleet-

For many days now the native wilekin tribes of Earane Elensar studied the recent battles between the nation of Wayawulf and Lord Hollingsworth. They had all as a gathered tribe agreed to stay out of the ordeals of the other bickering nations and their messy battles, but the more recent conflicts between Kein Lust and Wayawulf they could not ignore any longer. There was some form of betrayal behind Kein Lust's mysterious attacks, and it would not go unnoticed. The Nation of Wayawulf and proven so far to be one to be respected, and Kein Lust's suspicious behavior was to be stopped. Many tribes of the ancient land of Earane had already began their journey to surround the borders of Kein Lust...and soon they would move in as silently as they crossed the borders to bring down the nation all together.

Greetings. We are more than aware of the problems facing your nation. The President of Asgarnieu has authorized the temporary mobilization of The Asgarnian Navy and The Asgarnian Costal Defense Forces. With your approval, we will send these troops and vehicles to your fine nation to assist in naval combat operations. We will send the following:


10 Mango Class Destroyers
20 Bananna Class Gunships
15 Plantain Class Missile Boats
10 Tangerine Class Cruisers
2 Pineapple Class Aircraft Carriers


We have also been authorized to mobilize 4 RG-129 'Firefly' Recon Aircraft. Two will be equipped with MADD Booms to locate the submarines, and the other two will be equipped with DV-2/65 Infrared Cameras to aide in the detection of the vehicles. With your approval, we will send them to an airbase or airport of your choice. We thank you for considering our offer, and we wish you the best of luck regarding this spat with these rebels.

Greetings. We thank you for accepting our offer of assistance. We will send the RG-129's immediatley, and the naval ships have been sent allready. We are also mobilizing the following to assist our naval vessels:

5 Peach Class Ammuntion/Supply Ships
5 Radish Class Submarines
2 Honeydew Class Helicopter Ships


The helicopters aboard the Honeydew Class Helicopter Ships will be equipped with BK/PV-12E-U Sonar Listening Devices, Bluebird Torpedoes, and D-500 Depth Charges. In addition, we are sending a unit of Asgarnian Air Force F/B-150E and F/B-150C Aircraft to aid in the spotting and destruction of all hostile vessels. If nessicary, we can dispatch Ground Forces to assist in the security of major cities and military installations. If there is anything you need, please request it. It will be found, and delivered immediatley. Thank you.
