I have planned for a rebellion in my nation. It will be about the return of the nation to what is was like before Spanoism. Here are some of the groups involved.

The Janissaries- The Janissaries are an elite military group, disbanded by the Spanoists. They did not take kindly to this and they voiced their opposition, sometimes with the sword. The Janissaries are led by their leaders of the old.

The Sipahis- The Sipahis were also an elite military group, disbanded by the Spanoists. They also voice their opposition.

The Kizilbash- Another elite military group, against the Spanoists.

Maximillianists- This group seeks the return of the monarchy and the end of Spanoism.

More groups later, if I decide to make more.

Who are the Spanoists? What's their philosophy? And which, if any of these sides, would let me open Aesonic Churches in New Eonopolis in return for my aid?

Spanoists are from Eonopolis, etc. Also, the three military groups are not running for power, they simply want the Spanoists out. Also, Aesonic Churches could be opened, I will see if they could. Are you interested in joining?

Pythogria will aid the Jannisaries, Sipahis, and Kizilbash with money and weapons.

One final question, what is the Spanoist rule like? Democratic? Totalitarian? Basically the same as the monarchy without the royal family?

Heck, I'll support them too. So long as they work together for some form of democracy.

Could you also describe the differences between the elite groups of military? I know what they were IRL, but would like to know what do they actually mean here. And I'll propably support the Spanoists, if not openly atleast by providing training, funding and weapons.

For Aeson, Spanoism is a somewhat fascist-leaning variation of the theme "Government owns the people" (which is the a Madnestian motto also). What makes it fascist is the anti-gay attitude and hatredt against communism, I guess. Atleast that is the case with Eonopolis.

In the old days, Janissary refugees from the Auspicious Incident and Turkish people settled in my nation. So did Safavid Persians. Hence the three military groups.

The old Military is against Spanoism and they may be more elite groups, I am considering it. Also, the Janissaries use Mehter Music as well.

PT, past tech, MT modern tech, PMT, post modern tech (I normally RP at a low level of this. Some people consider orbital weapons PMT,) and FT future tech.

Thanks for telling me the tech levels. I guess we'll do MT-PMT. Also, one of the figures against Spanoism is Mustafa Bayrakdar, based on a Ottoman nobleman who I believe was in with the Janissaries.

Tech Levels

PT-Past Tech. The past. From spears to old cannons. (Examples: Swords, muskets, cannons.)

MT-Modern Tech. Stuff possible now, or in about ten years. (Example: M2A2 Abrams, AK108)

PMT-Post-Modern Tech. Stuff possible in the future. (For me, the only PMT I go to s up to 2020.) (Examples: XM-1, point-defense lasers, spacefighters that can only fight around Earth)

FT-Future Tech. Stuff that just seems impossible. (Example: Other worlds, aliens, guided plasma, 21 kilometre spaceships)

FantT-Fantasy Tech. Magic and Monsters. (Example: Magic, monsters, impossible stuff.)

Well, I use 6,5mm as my calibre and all infantry weapons are quite clearly Madnestian... And I haven't sold them anywhere, I think. Perhaps it would be easiest to just send the same type of weapons their normal army uses? NATO and Soviet (5.56 and 7,62mm ammo, M16-Kalashnikov) or something?

The Holy Republic of Disius, under Consul Commodus Agrippa Disius would help with the acctual fighting if the new regime was willing to agree to an alliance.

Uncle Noel, since he himself overthrew a reasonable incompetent monarchy many, many years ago, must concede that (for the sake of balance and to continue to be a 'grumphy old fart' nation) his support must go towards the legitimate government of Eonopolis: The Spanoists.

Uncle Noel may have little politically in common with these people, but he is also fiercely opposed to the spread of democracy. Democracy, in the eyes of the regime, is wholly illegitimate since true power resides with the vanguard of the proletariat and those seeking the Noelist revolution. Better to support a regime and mould it in our image, then to lose it democracy and have no hope.
Weapons and intelligence will be provided if requested by the legitimate government.

I will start now. Madnestan, you can come in when ready. We will start it on a new thread will I will create. Also, may the best faction win!
