The Reformation of the Code

The Royal Code
01-05-2006, 22:00
At noon exactly, General Hayden returned to Beth, the Royal Capital City. Beth harbor was a incredible sight, hundreds of ships of all sizes moving every which way.

But inside the great city, inside the capital building, past the great halls of marble and the great gargoyle statues, he entered a secret room, deep underground. There he met with none-other than Chancellor Alexander himself.
"Sir the arrangements have been made. We are ready."
The chancellor nodded. "General Hayden, we've been friends as long as i can remember, and now, more than ever, do i need you most. Take your army, and restore peace to this nation by any means. The people here in the new providences love you sir, they will support you to the end. With god on our side, and the just cause with us, we wont fail."

"Yes Chancellor." Hayden said, and left.

He traveled to the coast that day, to fort Carlyle, base of operations for the 2nd Royal Army, the sister army of the 1st Royal Army. There he raised the ready troops. Onward he went to the other bases, army, navy, and airforce throughout the week, doing the same.

The whole of the Royal Military was on his side. His words struck deep at every speech he gave,
"...the curruption must be stopped. If we cannot stand up now and use the law as our weapon, than we deserve to live under such rule. The state is currupt, your leaders are not. We shall march to the major cities of this nation, one by one, and dissolve the providence congress..."

And so they went, the next six months were turbulant times, as each congress was forcibly cast out, and a new, appointed general assembly sworn in.

Until finally, at the founding city of Akane, where the Royal Senate was headquartered, General Hayden arrived with his small band of 20,000 soldiers, and found a resistance; a resistance of over 600,000, nearly the entire male population of the city, and surrounding small towns.

Met with two options, leave, travel all the way to the Arterus Islands to bring the 1st Army home, and jepordize oversea interests, or stay and try to fight.

He decided to send a plea for help.

Nations of the world,
These are turbulant times here in the homeland. As the final step in my justification campaign, we must fully disolve the old Royal Senate. Unfortunetly, my current status does not allow me to easily complete the final step. So hereby, on the behalf of The Royal Code, I, General Hayden am sending out a plea for immediate international assistance. Anything that can be deployed here ASAP is badly needed before the resistance grows, and spreads.

With thanks,
Field Marshall, General Hayden
