A silent dark orange Battle Barge folded out system as an Inquisitor stepped forward on the bridge to look out at the open surroundings. This was Inquisitor Seva of the Ordo Hereticus and she smiled as she knew she was with the by far most intact Space Marine Legion in service of the Emperor's name. She was aboard the Fox Fang one of the oldest Battle Barges possessed by the Star Foxes Space marine Legion and the only one to incorporate females. A series of Warp storms had finally subsided in this area after a great many millenia. A series of systems closer to the fringes of the galaxy had been besieged as such since a recorded time during the Great Crusade. They had been scouring the Dark Galaxy for years searching for brethern and loyalists to the Emperor's name and recently they had received indications of astropath activity in this area and approaching the inner system they saw great Imperial ships some damaged and others not in the same way. They had come across a bastion of the Imperium protected by what appeared to be loyalist Imperial forces garbed as those of the Great Crusade. It was not unusual for any vessel not to catch even the slightest inkling of the Star Fox vessels which were so justly reknowned for being adept with their stealth missions. The Inquisitor knew it would only be time before others found out about this grouping of systems considered a bastion of the Old Imperium. She looked out slowly and Captain Auroros gasped sharply and whispered a short prayer to the Emperor. As the Inquisitor tracked her sight she saw a breathtaking and somewhat horrifying sight. A light grey Battle Barge emblazoned with the symbol of a black Wolf's head lain over a crescent moon glided swiftly into view and at once the Inquisitor knew that symbol as that of the Luna Wolves. She gasped in horror but at the same time in curiosity at these Space Marine vessels. She looked around and called to Librarian Pothos and gave the Librarian a look of concern and at that moment without even speaking to one another this Command group had decided to investigate.

In the Luna Wolves monastery Captain Lokas rose from his kneeling position in the chapel while muttering a silent prayer to the Emperor and then he got a vox communication saying that the Warp storms had finally let up. He muttered a grateful prayer to the Emperor as he realized his company's prayers had been answered. They were of the 30th Company of the Luna Wolves and as far as they knew still fighting in service of the Primarch Horus and the great Emperor to keep their outpost safe. He made his way to the command office of his Monastery-Fortress and he saw that his fleets were mobilizing and opening up astropath communications in hopes of finding other Imperium vessels nearby.
