What is this?
This is not an Earth. It’s an area shaped much like the RL Earth, but of course it’s merely a region (geographically speaking) in which the continents are identical in shape and size to the ones IRL. It’s entirely connected to the NS universe, and if you sail far enough North, or South, or whatever, you’ll eventually leave the region and enter the other NS regions entering it (though I’m not creating a region gameplay-wise).
Why am I doing this?
Well, Tiburon used to have one like this, with about five players, and eventually he decided to retcon my presence there and give the entire area I used to occupy to Etaros. This is entirely Tiburon’s prerogative, and I do not have a problem with it. However, I do not wish to retcon the various of RP threads I have put into this, so I created the Non-Earth - to minimize retconnage. This has now taken on a life of its own, and many players have claimed stuff in the Non-Earth. Some have since left Nationstates, some haven't. At any rate, here's the current list of members. If you want to claim stuff, go right ahead.
Why would you want to join?
Because you love me. Or because you want land. Or because your country is for some reason culturally similar to the place which possesses this land IRL (like Hallad).
How do you join?
Apply here, explaining who you are (links to old RP’s would be nice) WHY you want to join, what do you want. Once approved, start a thread role-playing the colonization and IC joining.
Remember: This is not so much a colony-fest as it is an RP impetus. So choose with relevance as to what your nation is like. Try not to claim stuff in Northern Europe when role-playing as a Muslim culture.
