Volga-Kama Bolghar

The Bulgar people traveled to what is now Bulgaria, assimilating with the Slavs. However, some stayed on the Volga. These Bulgars became Muslims (unlike their Orthodox Christian brethren in Bulgaria) and ruled over the lands they settled on. They fought with the Khazars, a group that converted to Judaism. The Volga Bulgarians stayed up, fighting many enemies like the Ulus Jochi or Golden Horde. The current leader was named Almas, after the one who helped bring Islam to these Volga Bulgarians. Almas married a Christian girl, named Anna and he respected her faith.

If anyone wants diplomacy, just say so. My nation would appreciate diplomatic relations.
