The Python Awakes (FT Intro)

Pythogria

---Pyon, Pythogrian Homeworld---

"Geralt, are the preparations complete?" the Supreme General, Ezal Farel, asked his advisor.

"Yes sir."

"Then... engage the plan."

This would be a momentous event. Pythogria, a superpower from Earth, had fled Earth long ago. It fled for one reason.

Space.

The Empire simply ran out. Not to mention, you start to have problems after massive nuclear wars and massive plagues.

And thus, they fled. They built the Empire again, in space. Greater. Far Greater. A grand total of 21 star systems were under Pythogria's command.

But this came with a price. Isolationism, once more. What had been ended by the now long, long dead Khonsu Izakabad riegned again. Pythogria had had almost no contact with anyone for thousands of years.

Ezal was going to change that.

Through the depths of space, a message was sent.

"Pythogria..."

The Emperor looked in shock over the transmission on the screen before him. He had heard the stories from generations ago. Of how Cravan and Pythogria had developed a friendship. And how they had become so close in those days. He began typing a message to the Limited Democratic Empire.

To: Supreme General Ezal Ferel
From: Emperor Kyle Craven II

And so the Limited Democratic Empire returns. I have heard stories of our nations' relationship in the past. Do you think we could continue it today?

Greetings, Pythogria, from the Interstellar Reich. Perhaps you remember us in a previous incarnation, the Divine Imperial Reich of Tocrowkia all those centuries ago? If you do or do not, it does not matter. Our ways have changed since the old days. Perhaps we could arrange something?

We look forward to your reply.

Pythogria...the name slipped off the tongue of Emperor Droma like silver. Why did it seem somewhat familiar? There had been no Pythogria recently in the wars against Hataria and Spit Break, allied with nations such as Mini Miehm and Chronosia...yet somehow Droma thought he should remember it. But for some reason it had come to his mind, in the middle of a simple boredom exercise, hit by a mental Force wave.
The Emperor deactivated his lightsaber, the red blade slipping down as the target drone deactivated as well. Droma walked out of the training chamber as one of his apprentices, Sion, kneeled before him.

"My lord..."
"Rise, Lord Sion. What is it that you have come to me..."
"We have yet again another new nation rising forth from the depths of the galaxy, my Lord. A Pythogria...not one that has been familiar in the recent conflicts."

Droma smiled to himself. Maybe, it seemed, the waning of his essence was farther off than it appeared to the aging Emperor.

"Very well, Sion...you have done well. You shall send back a personal comlink to them, inform them of our willingness to continue relationships."
"For our own gain, my Lord?"
"No, maybe a mutual one, for once. I have forseen something..."
"As you wish, my Lord."

Sion bowed low, his skin crackling along the many lines of his once-gruesome injury, before he walked away, shutting the durasteel door to Droma's chambers as he walked out. The Emperor smiled...maybe Sion did have a future after all. More so than the power-hungry Nihilus...
Sion, meanwhile, had taken a slight detour from an immediate comm with return to Pythogria. Stopping by the Imperial referendum, the largest collection of knowledge on the capital planet, he searched the archives of countless holosources for a "Pythogria". Several topics came up, and Sion took the largest source.

Pythogria-Many years ago, Pythogria and the Amazonian Dominion, once close allies, developed togeter during the pre-hyperspace years, before the development of technology that allowed the Dominion to carve out the niche of space now held, from the Foundation to the Outer Colonies. Pythogria was somewhat more advanced, though contact was lost once the Dominion left the planet for the realms of deep space.

Sion shrugged, about to turn to compile the comm when a familiar...face...confronted him-the deaths-head mask of Lord Nihilus, his direct rival.

Looking for something, Sion? thought-spoke the mysterious figure before him.
"Indeed, Nihilus" growled Sion, "sent by the Emperor. It would be in your interest to get out of my way."
You look in the archives for a simple messenger-boy task? I find you suspicious, Sion.
"Your suspicion will get you killed, I vow that."
So be it...good day, foolish one. I'll be at your throat one day, my lightsaber cutting through your tendons...

Sion pushed Nihilus out of the way, his once-alright day now put in a darker light by the rival Dark Knight. He would deal with that one soon enough...but for now, the Emperor's bidding was at hand. Setting up a holoprojector, he stood at the apex of the machine, set up the activation, and began speaking, his presence caught and recorded by the machine as he made his message.

"The Limited Democratic Empire of Pythogria, he Amazonian Dominion hails. The Star Empire, the Amazonian Dominion, hears your call from the depths of space and the interstellar void. My master Lord Droma recalls your race from times unto before the day, and has the desire to rekindle lost connections from where we sought out and left our roots. Whether you remember us or not, we do remember you. I am Lord Sion, Apprentice to the Emperor, Lord Droma."

Sion sent off the holocomm via the Dominion Holocomm system, then felt for his lightsaber, igniting the red blade and glanced around the holo room. Nihilus was watching from somewhere...he could feel his presence.

"Sir, Amazonian Beasts has been contacted!"

"Them? You can't be serious."

"No, sir. I am serios. Amazonian Beasts."

"Well then Zarathumdra darn it contact them!"

This was transmitted to Amazonian Beasts.

"We do remember the Dominion. Most of those memories are good ones. As such, we would indeed like to rekindle relations between the Dominion and Empire. We propose to re-forge our alliance."
Amazonian Beasts

Vyraat Karath, Helton Neyo, and Droma all convened in the Emperor's private chambers discussing the rise once again of Pythogria, gone for much time to the depths of space, from where the Dominion had turned to others for the usual border war or interstellar conflict. And with the Casseopians always trying something new against the rest of the galaxy, another ally to assist in the wars certainly wouldn't be bad at all.

"Possibly we should personally meet with them?" questioned Neyo, the general of the Dominion army. "Try and form a better alliance, persuade them against our enemies?"
"Too soon to be persuading to see our political views." Droma echoed, "but a personal visit would be nothing bad. Admiral Karath-" Droma turned to the Grand Admiral: "-I suggest you, Ragnos, Sadow, and Sion should personally arrange a diplomatic visit to rekindle lost ties and alliances to the Pythogrians. I will be out with Nihilus and Kressh, and General Neyo shall have command while I am gone. The three apprentices are the most diplomatic. Do not foul this up."
"As you wish my Lord, I shall contact the Pythogrians immediately with your request." the middle-aged admiral responded.

The three went their seperate ways, Neyo returning to Galactic Command, Droma to his chambers, Karath out to the flagship Vindicator to send a short comm to Pythogria offering the meeting.

Return Comm to Pythogria
-the Amazonian Dominion

An alliance would be fitting between our two nations, but perhaps we should make a personal meet to re-kindle what has been so long missing, divided by the black spires of space. The Dominion would be glad to host diplomatic representatives of Pythogria to launch further talks amongst reinitiating alliances.

As soon as the message had reached the Eternals, they sent a small diplomatic ship that shown of gold down to the planet. As it entered the atmosphere it appeared to be a bright new star in the sky. Then it cleared the atmosphere and found the capital city below and hovered until it had found an open landing pad. There it landed without any clear opening waiting for representative from the area to come and meet them.

Though the real reason, is that they do not really like massive structures that are very visible and without any planet life on them. Also, they feel kind of claustrophobic in cities with giant structures everywhere; they would feel much more comfortable in the country for example.

On the Border of Pythogrian space
For centuries, this small cluster of stars had been ignored. It had appeared uninhabited, and a raider has no use for an uninhabited world.

On the border, the fabric of space shuddered, as thirty jury-rigged FTL drives dropped the Celtic Knight Fleet into Pythogrian space. In front of the fleet, the flagship, the Fianoglach, sent a message to the fleet.

The gravelly voice of Warlord Lynch boomed out of the ships' intercoms. "There is a small colony on the fourth planet of the nearest star. Thirty pounds to the ship who lands soldiers first! Twenty ounces to the man who brings me the head of the Colonial Magistrate!"

The raiders roared their assent, and the fleet was set in motion. The cruisers hurtled towards the colony, scraping sides and colliding with each other, each ship racing for the prize. Belowdecks, thousands of soldiers prepared a wide assortment of powerful rifles, and loaded themselves into dropships. Sixteen squadrons of fighters were ready for launch.

Any resistance that the colony put up would be met with brutal force.

"Welcome, Pythogrian diplomats. We're sending you coordinates for our in-system colony and manufacturing base where we have our entourage waiting. Our corvettes will guide you in."

The corvettes shot around past the Pythogrian ship, turning about and transmitting the coordinates for Saleupau, the sinkhole-pocked world in the system where Sion, Ragnos, Sadow, and Karath waited patiently...

"Thank you for coordinates. We're following you."

The Imperium III started its engines, guided towards Saleupau.

Richard bowed. "En Taro Adun. Thank you for your welcome. I come here to settle the alliance between our peoples, and perhaps to forge new deals, such as trade."

"Of course. Before we begin, would you like something to drink perhaps?"

The Emperor asked. A bottle of fine Tocrowkian wine and two glasses left a table at the far end of the room and floated around the two men, held in place by the Emperor's telekinetic powers.

"Thank you, sir." he poured a glass of wine, following his native countrie's manners. "So, I was just wondering..." he paused for a second, "How, exactly, did you gain telekinetic powers? Pythogria has not managed that yet."

The corvettes flew down through Saleupau's green-blue sky, banking off as they approached an absolutely enormous sinkhole. A large gray door, carved into the rock face, began to open, as a comm signal from the door beckoned the Imperium III to landing. Droid fighters soared past, running basic scouting patrols.
Inside the hanger, two dark-clad individuals, electro-pikes against their shoulders, stood silently in the hanger, waiting for the craft to enter.

"We are in dire need of several things. We have still not solved our shortage of Plasalmaton, Duerachrome, and tea."

OOC: Those two first things are matertials. Plasalmaton is like a goo that can bounce bullets away. Duerachrome is just plain really hard to break. It bends-- it doesn't snap.

The two men bowed low, their black cloaks falling against the floor. Two Saber Droids backed them up, their electro-sabers deactivated.

"If you would follow us," the first man said, "we will guide you to Admiral Karath and the Emperor's apprentices."

They then pivoted around, the two droids following in step behind them, as they exited the hanger, leading the Pythogrian delegate through the winding halls and spaces of the Saleupau Planetary Center, before finally coming to a large, rock-appearing door, with red marks etched on the outside.

"They wait for you in there." the guide spoke.

The door opened up, and a soft white light bathed out from the room inside, where a long table, chairs, and a few refreshments had been lain out. 3 black-robed individuals sat around the table, mostly staring off into space, as one gray-uniformed individual hurried up to the delegation.

"Greetings, friends. I am Grand Admiral Karath, behind me our Lords Sion, Ragnos, and Sadow-" he pointed out the other three in the room "-but please, do make yourselves comfortable."

OOC: Basically, the Eternals have a created a kind of serum in which the natural process of the degeneration of cells is slowed to a high degree, due to it slowing down of the process of cell duplication, which in turn slows down the aging process. As for the sickness thing the serum is intermingled with a number of chemicals which enhance the immune system against disease and viruses.

As for the tech, the Eternals will give you engines, which are basically more advanced versions of your own, but more perfected to the Eternals having been a space faring civilization for a VERY long period of time. Also, the Eternals will give you more deadly and powerful energy based weapons that have been designed off of your own basic designs.
