Cravanian FT Reference Thread
After seeing multiple nations RP as both MT/PMT and FT, I decided why the hell shouldn't I? I'm still mainly concentrated on my MT/PMT RPs, but this is essentially my nation in the future. So, without further ado...
Cravanian FT Reference
I'll constantly be adding stuff, but I'll kick it off with history and stuff, then move it into other things.
Also note that I take no credit for pictures displayed here unless otherwise stated. All of them were found in Google Image Search unless otherwise stated. I will cite my sources once I figure out where they came from exactly (forgot where I looked...), so as to cover my back.

History
The history of Cravan is a long and proud one, dating back thousands of years to a nation located on Earth in a region known as the Golden Triangle. Earth, however, has since been abandoned by the Cravanian people for a more suitable home.
The exodus from Earth occured approx. two hundred years ago due in part to a massive world war brewing which, at the rate the conflict was escalating, would wipe out the majority of the Earth. The entire population of Cravan was ordered to evacuate the planet, and a newly built transport fleet was used for the monstrous task. The fleet set a course for a newly discovered world which was Earth-like, and claimed it as their new home. It was christened New Cravan, and construction units immediately set to work to build infrastructure and prepare the planet for permanent settlement. The capital city, New Cravna, is the largest city on the planet and bears a remarkable resemblance to it's predecessor, Cravna. It lies on the Sapin continent, a tribute to the province of the same name in old Cravan.

New Cravna
The world has since grown to a population of three billion ((I figure I could up my pop a little when this takes place in the future, this will not affect my military numbers)), and is goverened by the same Imperial family in power thousands of years ago, the Craven family. The political system has endured for the past few milleniums, and Cravan still holds dear to the ideals of old.
****************************
Government
As stated, the government has not had any major changes over the past millenia. It is still a constitutional monarchy headed by an Emperor or Empress and his/her cabinet of Directors.
The Imperial Senate is the legislative body of the Empire. The number of senators is proportionate to the population of the region represented, however each region has only one vote no matter the number of senators. The Consul (head senator) of the region represented casts the vote, and this position changes with each election. The extra senators are usually used to assist in the drawing up of bills and the like.
****************************
Culture, Population, and General Info
The culture of Cravan has more or less stayed the same over the past centuries, remaing primarily of English/American and Spanish persuasion. Music, art, attire, and language has changed little.
Cravan is made up of strictly the human species, with not a single alien being currently residing on the planet. This does not imply, however, that alien beings would be discriminated against if they did reside on the world. However, Cravan has had an isolationist point of view ever since landing on New Cravan, and has even lost contact with Earth. It is unknown if an expedition will ever be sent to finally discover Earth's fate.
The humans of Cravan, for the most part, believe in purity. Their definition of purity, however, does not mean racial or ethnic purity, but instead purity of the body in the sense of artificial enhancements. Therefore, very few Cravanians have artificial implants or cybernetic enhancements unless it is necesarry for life to continue. Cravan's military does not use cybernetically enhanced soldiers unless the soldier volunteers for the duty and passes the examination required to become a cybernetically enhanced special operations specialist. (more on that later)
*************************
Military
The military of Cravan is divided into three branches: Fleet Command, Starfighter Command, and Ground Command. All three work together to achieve total victory, and combine strategy to supplement one another. Stats for each will be availiable below.
*************************
OOC: I will begin typing up the military next. Comments are appreciated. Please note I'll probably add some more detailed stuff to the above after I get the rest of this sorted out.

Nice. If Kraven does something like this, I will. Until then, I'm mainly MT/PMT.
Ground Command
The Ground Command is the spearhead of invasions and assaults, since no planet can fall without landing forces. They are the elite, and are trained for perfection. They use a multitude of equipment, from infantry, to mechs, to gunships, and everything else inbetween.

Elites
The Elites... The ultimate soldiers of the Empire. Intelligent, cunning, fast, strong, and deadly. One of the few things that can't describe them fully is quiet. They are made to strike fear in the hearts and minds of their enemies, their imposing figure and abilities able to stop almost anyone in their tracks.
The Elites are the product of years and years in research of genetic engineering and cybernetics. They are the only units which use such enhancements, seeing as they are fit for a lifetime of service in the military. They are trained from birth, engineered to be ruthless killing machines, loyal to the ideals which their homeland stands for, even though their mere existence is contradictory to those ideals.
An Elite stands at approximately 6'9", but their combat suits usually make it too hard to tell. They are engineered genetically to have extreme strength, supplemented by cybernetic enhancements which are both internally implanted and a part of the Elite armor. They have incredible speed, and can outrun most other infantry and some vehicles.
An Elite's equipment is top of the line, and as such is costly. However, it is rugged and proven to be effective, and well worth the investment. The Elite armor, the GENESIS Mk.II, is one of the single most advanced pieces of hardware in the Cravanian arsenal. It possesses some key features, such as personal shields, adrenaline controls, motivators in the limbs to increase speed and maneuverability, various types of sensory equipment, integrated comm systems, counter EM interference fields, and many other such features.
The Elites also use the most powerful weapon in the Cravanian arsenal, the CDR-76 Gauss Battle Rifle. This rifle uses high caliber armor piercing rounds which can deliver an EMP charge to enemy targets. Fatal to organics and destructive to cybernetics, the CDR-76 has the power to punch through the some of the heaviest of shielding, and cause extreme damage to the target. If unarmed, Elites will use brute force to subdue and destroy their target, and have the ability to use unprecedented strength to assault their enemies. Some will also use melee weapons, like the vibroblade and, for some, even a lightsaber. Their main weapon always takes priority, however.

(More to come as I think them up. Next post is Fleet Command.)
Fleet Command
Imperial Fleet Command is the first line of defense in the event of an attack on the homeworld. It uses a variety of ships, from the massive Legacy-class battleships to the medium sized Freedom-class cruisers. They are also the first to pierce an enemy planet's defenses, and are made to gain superiority over a planet in the even of a siege.

Sentries
Sentries are the Imperial Navy's newly adopted Marine. In order to save space on the various classes of warships, it was deemed necessary to move away from the Marines of old, and instead of stationing Troopers on the ships, Sentries were the new answer. Sentries are biomechanical warriors, who stand at 7'. They are ruthless, and are programmed to show no mercy against intruders. When activated, Sentries will stop at nothing to clear their ship of hostile forces.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c381/crave22/Cravan%20FT/cylon2.jpg
A Sentry.
Sentries are heavily armed, highly intelligent, and fiercely loyal to Cravan. Their main armament consists of four 7.62 Wrist Mounted Gauss Cannons, capable of ripping through all different types of armor. They can also be armed with rockets, high-caliber AP weaponry, and various other sorts weapons.
Sentries are most commonly seen onboard ships and space stations, but are very commonly seen working as security at various installations. They can also be deployed by security forces in the event of a riot situation or other such emergencies. Seldom are they used in offensive assaults, but it is not out of the question. Some ships have Sentries set aside specifically for boarding parties.
Sentries have extremely heavy and thick armor, and despite this are capable of a moderate rate of movement. Only the heaviest of weapons can really do anything truly damaging against them, and as such they are perfectly suited for the close confines of combat inside a ship.

Technology
Weapons
Laser Weapons
Laser weapons are used primarily for CIWS on incoming missiles and fighters in space. On the ground, meanwhile, they are widely used for anti-air and anti-armor turrets.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c381/crave22/War%20Games%20Characters/particlecannon.jpg
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c381/crave22/Cravan%20FT/lasersystem.jpg
Missiles and Bombs
There are several types of missiles, ranging from anti-ship nuclear warheads to anti-fighter directed nuclear warheads. Anti-ship nuclear weapons are used to punch holes in enemy armor, and cause massive damage to capital ships. Anti-fighter nuclear missiles, however, explode with a small shockwave to destroy enemy targets. Gravity bombs, meanwhile, can vary in size and warhead. They are dropped in-atmosphere on enemy forces and installations, causing massive damage.
Rail Guns
Rail Guns are the basic weapons of the Imperial forces, using electromagetic currents to propel slugs at high velocities and high rates of fire to their targets. They are effective at penetrating heavy armor, and are very deadly to ships, shielded and unshielded. Rail guns come in all sized, ranging from small CIWS autocannons to larger anti-ship cannons.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c381/crave22/Cravan%20FT/Railgun.jpg
Drones
Drones are a hybrid between projectile and energy weapons, and are shaped like a meter-long jellyfish, capable of autonomously targeting and destroying a small vessel, even if the vessel is moving extremely quickly. If several of these drones work together, they can even destroy a large vessel like a cruiser or larger. If guided very precisely, only two drones are in fact needed to achieve this. The drones are also able to penetrate most known energy shields.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c381/crave22/War%20Games%20Characters/image2003.jpg
SW-IX
The SW-IX is designed for deep penetration and collateral damage. It is a very simple concept, actually. The shell, a standard rail gun shell, is charged positively. As the shell exits the barrel, energy conduits cause negatively charged ion energy to coat the shell. What results is the ultimate armor piercing shell: The ion energy is directed at a ship's shields, and overloads the shields in just a large enough area to allow the shell through. The shell penetrates the ship's armor, causing collateral damage to the ship itself while completely bypassing the shields. If a ship is unshielded, the weapon will cause damage to and disable electrical conduits and other systems inside the ship.

Other Technologies
Energy Shielding
A shield is a translucent (sometimes with a purple or bluish hue) force of energy that is produced by shield generators. These generators can be placed on planets, droids, starships individual buildings, and even soldiers. The primary purpose of the shield is to block or deflect projectiles and lasers from hitting the object being protected. They are very powerful and effective, and have been known to shrug off even the heaviest of assaults.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c381/crave22/Cravan%20FT/Energy_shield-1-.jpg
Ground based shields.
Sensors
Sensors are used to detect incoming units, whether they be spacecraft, aircraft, or even land vehicles. Shipborne sensors have extreme multi-light year ranges, while ground unit based sensors usually have shorter ranges. Sensor arrays for planetary defenses usually have longer ranges than even shipborne sensors.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c381/crave22/Cravan%20FT/Dradisscreen.jpg
Short range sensor screen.
Subspace Com
Subspace coms are the primary communications equipment of the Imperial Navy, using subspace frequencies to send near instant communications to areas within extreme ranges of the ship's current position. Communication usually occurs on encrypted channels for the military.

Engines
All Imperial starships use Epsilon Mk.II sublight advanced VASIMR (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variable_specific_impulse_magnetoplasma_rocket) engines, which deliver efficient fuel economy for relatively high speed. They are descendants of the VASIMR rockets designed for Project Apollo in the late twentieth century, and have since been perfected through the use of fusion power.

Armor
Armor on all ships and units in the Imperial Navy and Army are a strong composite of various metals made to withstand the toughest of assaults. They are descendant of Project Apollo, like most of current Cravanian space technologies, and are layered in a similiar fashion.
Power Supply
All Cravanian ships use modern fusion reactors for their power supply, allowing them to operate at peak efficiency with little sacrifice of space onboard the ship.

I'm gonna let the Star Wars wiki do the talking...
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Hyperdrive
(Will add technology sometime later. Just gonna write this up real quick. Besides, everyone's got some sort of Jedi or Sith. Why not me? :p)
Cravanian Knights
Although Cravanians were isolated for over two-hundred years, not all contact with outside forces was lost, chiefly the Force. When the Exodus from Earth happened, Cravanian Jedi returned home to assist in restoring order. Over the years, more and more Force adepts revealed themselves in Cravan, and eventially the more powerful Force adepts who had formerly been Jedi formed the Cravanian Imperial Knights, an organization which held close to the ideals of the organization on which they were based, the Jedi Order.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c381/crave22/Cravan%20FT/04-jedi1.jpg
A painting of a Knight preparing for battle.
The Knights are completely independent of both the Jedi Order and the Cravanian government, but have sworn allegiance to both. The Knights are trained in the ways of the Force to preserve peace throughout Cravan and her territories, and will sometimes accompany Imperial troops into battle. They walk the path of the Light, having been isolated from the Darkness for so long. They also make excellent diplomats, often choosing words over the saber and being assigned as ambassadors by the Cravanian government.
Although they do not directly take orders from the government of Cravan, they generally serve the government and assist in military operations. When involved in a military op, they usually decide to wear the armor of the soldiers they accompany rather than the robes of the Order. This gives them better overall protection on the battlefield, and does not make them stand out.
http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c381/crave22/Cravan%20FT/KotoR_Concept_Art_2.jpg
An Imperial Knight in motion.
The weapon of choice of the Imperial Knight is that of the Jedi: The lightsaber. The most common colors are blue and green, but more experienced knights often have more exotic colored blades to symbolise rank or to give a unique advantage through the Force. Different crystals used in the construction of the lightsaber offer different advantages, and they can be mixed and matched to suit the needs of the Knight in question.
The current Grand Master of the Order is Master Jack Cauldswell, a wise and old Knight of the first generation of Cravanian Knights. He spent his entire life training in the ways of the Jedi, and spreading their teachings to the rest of the Knights. He serves as a prime adviser to the Emperor, and will occasionally move out into the field with his Knights on his flagship, a Freedom-class cruiser named the the Eternal Flame.
Craft of the Knights
The Knights keep a small paramilitary fleet of modified civilian ships and decomissioned warships for use as mobile bases and academies. They are crewed by both Force adepts and non-Force adepts alike, making them all the more deadly to those who dare cross them. Onboard they carry a multitude of shuttlecraft and fighters, ranging from freighters to starfighters.

The Imperial Knights also posess their own varient of the venerable Delta-7 Jedi Starfighter, the D7A Aurora. It is the pinnacle of Imperial Knight engineering, being completely designed by the Order. It is hyperdrive capable, and is mainly flown from cruisers operated by the Order and the enclave.

OOC-Should change the names. Seems unoriginal if they straight out have the name Jedi or the Force.

How so? They're independent of the Jedi Order, but they were formerly a part of the Order before Cravan went into isolation.
I am thinking of changing the names around, though.

OOC- I dunno, maybe it's because the Jedi are a Star Wars thing. Just my opinion.

OOC: Then tell everyone else who uses Jedi and Sith to rename their guys. :p Like Amazonian Beasts, for instance, who even uses the names of Sith from KotOR.
