King Minibakey II was huddled under his desk, sobbing. From outside the window, that was covered by steel blinds, the roar of an angry mob could be heard. Agents of BIS, Bakey Intelligence (and security) service, were standing around the room, machine-pistols out and body armour on.
"My own son," screamed the King, "my won son would do this to me!" The agents exchanged nervous glances, the majority of them prefered the hansome and popular Prince Edward to this sniveling wrech of a King.
Prince Edward was the bestseller author of How to be a Prince and Cheap Popularity and was a regular guest on Maria Belleis' TV show. The women loved him and the men respected him. He was young and hansome. He was nothing like the evil dictatorial King who was his father.
But today, with the support of major Military and Government figures he had surrounded Council House and the Royal Castle, thus imprisoning the King and Top Council officials. Then, after hearing the Prince's need for support on the TV and Radio, the public surrged out onto the roads and railways, stopping any Bakeynian troops from reaching the capitol. It was a well planned and executed revolt.
Outside the Castle, stood the Prince, he was strolling beside a line of 5 brand-new Internal Security Armoured Vehicles, they has been hijacked by an agent of Prince Edward, while on delivery to the Army. They were each armed with tear gas and surrounded by soldiers of the Paras, all loyal to the Prince.
"What now, sir?" asked the CO of the paras to Prince Edward.
"We wait, and see if the King's allies will come to his aid, we could lose too many men storming the Castle and Council House."
"Yes sir, we wait."

We have seen your rebellion against the King. And we wish to aid you. Specifically, we'll give you $2 Billion dollars and then $50 million dollars per week until the nation is yours and rebuilt. Just make certain the new government is at least pertly democratic.

Prince Edward was happily thanking Pythogria on his cell phone as a Para strolled up to him, he hung up and turned to the soldier,
"Sir, reported sightings of a helicopter landing outside Shamble. Nationality and purpose unknown."

Two stealth helicopters touched down outside the capitol. Armored and armed men poured out.

"All right, our mission is to offer assistance to the Prince, and to offer to storm the palace," said the commander, as his men moved in.

OOC: What's the situation in the capitol? Is there fighting going on outside the palace? Throughout town?

A newsreport, 10hrs after the revolt began: The square below the hill where the Council House and Castle is is under Princeial control, with five armoured cars and Paras supporting the Prince, but a Bakeynian Military base in the city is fighting back against the Prince, they are cautious about firing on the people though. Small skirmishes are breaking out among the surburbs and housing areas. Some major cities still support the King but the majority have joined the revolt, with the garriosons laying down their arms and joining the populace. Bakeynian troops are mainly stranded around the country.

The commander observed some firing. He moved up next to someone who had their back against a wall to avoid a sniper.

"Are you for the Prince or the King?" He asked.

"P...p...pri...King!" he stuttered

"Who are you?" gasped the man

The commander elbowed the man's gun hand hard, while drawing his pistol and placing it to the man's neck.

"Wrong answer. We're here with orders to help the Prince. You're going to take me to him."

"NO, I mean..." the man spluttered, "I can't, they'll kill me if I do. Please," he cried.

Well then I am a loser. As almost no guns are allowed in Pythogria.

ooc: neither side is very keen on guns, the king is scared of a rebellion (like this one) and the prince is a very nice guy and relises that guns kill people and death isnt nice.

The commander studied the man's uniform, and decided that he was probably a high ranking officer.

"Fine. Head back that way," he gestured towards where the rest of his men waited, "You'll be taken care of."

"Oh thank you, merciful commander." The man sprinted towards the other soldiers but as he ran a bullet hit him in the stomach and his inerds spilt out onto the pavement, he collapsed, shook a bit and then went still.

The commander sighed. "That's always the way of it," he muttered. He removed a white handkerchief from his pocket and waved it above his head as he stepped away from the wall.

Dusk was arriving and the dark was settling in. Both sides were downhearted, a long conflict loomed. A lull in the fighting began. The Prince organised watches and the distribution of blankets and food between the people. (he had the support of the 3rd logistics brigade to thank for that). Slowly the city quitened down and everyone settled down for a rough nights sleep.

The emperor of Pragnova Maguns the third had been informed by his intelligence staff of the revolt in Bakey and had given the order for his military to enter the conflict on the side of the king.

At the port of Al'esh the Pragnovan second fleet was hastily prepared for departure, Supplies and ammunition were loaded onto the ships. Men and vehicles boarded transport ships Transport ships. A group of 3 TH-5 stealth transport aircraft flew overhead towards Bakey as General Chase surveyed the operation from the ports command tower with his assistant Major Storm:

"How long till we are ready to Major Storm," asked the General

"We should be ready to go tomorrow and we should be there in 3 to 4 days, unfortunately we don’t know if the king will hold out that long so we are having Alpha squad flown out as we speak they should arrive in early morning while its still dark and should be able to enter the city and hopefully they will be able to reach the king and help him hold out till our main force arrives sir", replied the major

"How many alpha squad para-troopers are we sending out" asked the General

"72 sir"

"Excellent get in the command staff and have our informationand inteligence division send out a message to the King tell him help is on the way"

People were starting to wake up in the square, the prince yawned and pulled himself up. A young corporal from the airborne ran over to him,
"Sir, morning report. Bakey troops have retaken two majr cities, the others are still holding out but are under serious pressure. Shamble is firmly in our control now, apart from the Council House and the Castle. The Radar site at Berkword has seen transport planes crossing the border. We have sent up two flights of our helicopters to make contact with the threat. Various troops seem to be crossing the borders in our support, but our mole in the diplomatic section reports that Pragnova may be supporting the King."

"So," gasped the King, as his bodygaurds pulled him out from under his bed, where he had been hiding, "Have you found a way out?"
"Yes, your majesty, a passage leading to the sewers. Shall we inform the Council members?"
"Council members? Load of fools. If they cant find their own way out, they dont deserve to go free. Quick, lead me to this passage."
