The Mystery of the Missing Diplomats
-((OOC: This thread is still open))-
To: All Nations
From: Jayke Stormwell, Emperor of Mintel
Re: Cruise invite
As a relatively small nation, I would like to get to know more nations around this world.
So I have pulled together a large cruise ship (very safe I must say) and wish to invite any diplomat and/or ruler.
I wish to see many people there.
The cruise will last a week. There will be a pool on the top deck, so if you want a tan, you are very welcome to use it.
Mintel only wishes to meet all rulers and/or diplomates and get to know your nation.
Please RSVP so I may have some idea . ((OOC: It will start at 6:00 pm pst, if not, earlier)). If you have any questions, please reply back.
Sincerely,
Jayke Stormwell
Emperor of Mintel
We have a few questions about said cruise.
1. What are any diplomatic topics that might be brought up?
2. Is the cruise vessel equiped with a heli-pad?
3. What is the maximum number of attendents a nation might send in addition to the diplomat?
4. Is this a circular cruise or a linear one?
This cruise is a circular cruise, and if need be, we may open up a helipad if you wish to arrive by air. There is no limit to diplomats allowed, for the more, the merrier. I was more of thinking just a bit of relaxing fun on the boat so all may mingle.
We also have a little mystery game that if you care to send diplomats to the Saint Anne-Luc, we may all enjoy.

On board the Saint Anne-Luc
Mintel's diplomatic leaders awaited the arrival of other nations onto their large cruise ship.
Jayke Stormwell stayed in his cabin, ready to greet his guests. The Saint Anne-Luc had not set sail, waiting for more people to join.
His dresser sat with its double doors wide open and clothes strewn in front of it.
Countess Caligi's helicopter sent the message requesting the deck be cleared to the Saint Anne-Luc as it neared the cruise vessel.
"Clear the helipad!" remarked Captain Fambil in a loud voice. The sailors saluted and proceeded clearing the helipad.
Once the helicopter landed two men, one of Icelandic stock the other who appeared to hail from Italy, both in tuxedos stepped out. The blonde turned and aided a woman out of the helicopter. She had, deep, almost black eyes, lips the colour of blood, alabaster skin, and long rich hair of the deepest red.
She looked over the people for the first that would speak to her.
The Captain Fambil greeted their guest with a low sweeping bow.
"Welcome aboard the Saint Anne-Luc, Countess Caligi." he said with a wide smile. "I hope you enjoy your stay upon my ship." he remarked, gesturing her to follow him. "This way please." he said, leading her down some elegant white stairs.
He led her passed a white gate to close off the helipad and passed a huge circular pool, with over twenty white chairs surrounding it. Someone was polishing the glass, ready to serve.
"The dining room is three decks below here." he told her.
"I hope I do as well." She replied in a rich, slightly seductive voice. She followed the captain flanked by the two men who'd come with her. "And my cabin?"
The captain's smile widened just a bit.
"Your cabin is here." he said, leading her down a large hall, birghtly lit.
He ran the list of people with their rooms through his mind and finally reached a number.
"Your room is 0986." he told her, showing her her room.
He opened the door to her room and handed her her room key. The window was open and a small sea breeze was flowing through the room. There was a beautiful view of the ocean outside, and a king-size bed.
"Thank you captain." She replied as he showed her to her room, "And the one for my staff?" She asked as she took in the lavishness of her's.
The captain nodded. "Of course." he said, and pointed next door, handing one of her guards a key to next door.
"Mr. Stormwell wishes to see you at dinner at 6. Please join him." the captain said, smiling slightly.
Prince Krister of the Secular Empire was the representative from the Secular Empire. He was arriving by helicopter and would be arriving anytime now.
"Okay father, I'm almost there so I'll speak to you later," Krister said as he hung up the phone to his father back in Maraque.
The helicopter came in for the landing...
The sailors cleared a second helipad and directed the pilot to land on it.
They bowed to the people inside, waiting for the diplomat of Maraque to come out.
Prince Krister exited the helicopter followed by an assistant and four bodyguards.
"Hello, my name is Krister, I am the representative from the Secular Empire of Maraque."
The men bowed nervously.
"W-w-welcome Prince Krister of Maraque." the most senior stammered.
"Might you want to drop off your belongings into your room?" he asked, looking up a bit nervously.
Mer des Ennuis

The Armed Republic of Mer Des Ennuis will send Aron Tymoteusz, a state department official to participate in this cruise. He will only carry a side arm, and will not travel with major diplomatic staff. He will be on the next diplomatic flight out of Mer Des Ennuis, if his arrival can be confirmed.
"Oh, yes please. Where is my room located?" Krister said, shaking the mans hand.
Message to Mer des Ennuis: Arrival confirmed
The sailor shook it rather dazed, thinking, I've touched royalty! He smiled a bit nervously and led him past the pool to where the captain had led the woman.
"This way please!" he squeaked, and led him past the gate and into the tortuous hallway of rooms.
He led the Prince towards the rooms in the nine hundreds.
"This one." he said, while pulling out the room key to room 0980. "The Countess Caligi has a room over there." he said to Prince Krister in a quiet voice. "I think the captain is with her if you wish to speak to him. Oh, and Mr. Stormwell wishes everyone be at dinner downstairs at 6 pm." he added as an afterthought. "Do you need anything else? If you do, just press this little white button on the wall and someone will be with you." he started to bow before he added, "Oh, and here," he said, handing the prince another room key. "Your escorts room."

Jayke Stormwell looked at himself in the mirror and glanced at his watch. In another two hours, the dinner would start. He had planned the arrival of guests quite right so that they could arrive before dinner and maybe explore the magnificent boat.
The cooks were his own personal ones and were best in Mintel's lands. the Saint Anne-Luc was also one of his own private liners, which was bought on the spur of the moment by his ex-girlfriend who tragically died in an 'accident'.
He smiled again and walked outside his room to ask the captain about his guests.
"Thank you." Prince Krister said, as he slipped the sailor $200SED for his services.
Prince Krister put away his things and decided to take it easy before he was to go downstairs to meet Mr. Stormwall at dinner.
Mer des Ennuis

We've sent him on a supersonic diplomatic flight. He should arrive at around 5:00. Can you have a taxi of some sort waiting for him? He's traveling lightly, only four or five suits, a class-A uniform (having served in the military), and a few business casual clothes for less formal times.
"Thank you, and you can assure Mr. Stormwell I'll be there." Caligi replied as she entered her cabin while one of her two staff members brought her luggage in.
Sometime later, around six, she exited the room garbed in a deep red, low cut gown that showed off just the right amount of cleavage and she headed to the dining room.
After putting away his things, Prince Krister dressed in a black Armani suit with grey stripes, along with a white dress shirt underneath and a gold silk tie, the crest of his nation on the left side of his suit.
He exited his room and made his way down towards the dining hall with his assistant and one body guard.
Message to: Mer des Ennuis
Thank you. We await your arrival
Jayke changed his mind when he couldn't find the captain and left for the dining room. The table had candles lit on top of it. It was a complete waste of candles--There was a huge glass chandelier on the top of the ceiling.
He sat at one end and crossed his legs. The servers he had hired were bustling around creating the final touches for the dinner.
