The Grand Shadow Palace (Death Hold City)
The Imperial Shadow Archducal council sat in judgement about a certain problem that had given the Grand Shadow Empire of Deatharon a new and major irritation. The one of the outer Baronies of the Grand Shadow Empire had started to convert to foreign religions such as Christianity, and Buddhism, and in some areas Islam.
The Grand Shadow Emperor Alfonso Von Antheron I, the divine ruler of the Grand Shadow Empire and Archduke of Death Hold could not stand to have his divine lineage threatened by these heretical beliefs that had suddenly started to appeared out of nowhere. The 18-year-old Shadow Emperor sat at the head of the Imperial Shadow Archducal council. The young Shadow Emperor looked upon the various Archdukes and Archduchesses that lorded over the majority of the Grand Shadow Empire's territory. They were all bound by their oaths of fealty to serve him and the gods from now to all eternity.
Shadow Emperor Alfonso after a few minutes of analyzing the group said, "These new foreign religions are a serious threat to the cultural and religious integrity of the Grand Shadow Empire. They preach the worship of false gods and saviors that should be ignored and eliminated from within the borders of our divine Empire. I Grand Shadow Emperor Alfonso Von Antheron I, henceforth decree that these heretics should be put to death for treason against the Gods and the Empire. We should also reinstate the Shadow Inquisition to begin cleansing the souls of the subjects of the Grand Shadow Empire of Deatharon."
The Imperial Shadow Archduke Eric Santanlio the head of Great House Santanlio replied, "My Imperial Sovereign, I would like to state that if we do as you decree the outside world will not forgive the mass execution of religious heretics. They may even place sanctions against the Empire or worse attempt open war against your divine and imperial right to rule."
The Imperial Shadow Archduchess Amelia Zhania the widow of the former head of Greath House Zhania said, "Why not just deport the foreign religious leaders and kill the ones with Imperial citizenship. That way we can not be held accountable for executing foreign citizens?"
The Grand Shadow Emperor Alfonso Von Antheron I, gave his final word before anyone else to get in a word to the conversation, "As your divine Grand Shadow Emperor who is of direct descent from the late Grand Shadow Emperor Akarth Von Antheron XIII. One of the many, Grand Shadow Emperors whom all descend from Minax the Supreme Goddess of our Empire. I have using my divine right to rule henceforth decree that all Foreign Religions are hereby expelled from the Grand Shadow Empire of Deatharon. If any subject of the Empire is caught worshipping one of these false gods they are to be interrogated by the Shadow Inquisition to gather a confession to their heresy. If they confess they may be spared at the cost of their property and be sold as a slave to the Slave Guild. If they do not confess their heresy they are to be executed by the method deemed proper by the specific Shadow Inquisitor."
The Archdukes and Archduchess all stood up from their seats and bowed before the Grand Shadow Emperor Alfonso Von Antheron. The head of Great House Von Antheron. They all walked out of the Imperial Shadow Archducal Chambers to enforce the new Proclamation that was sent from one end of the Grand Shadow Empire to the other. The Galick Barony in Arterus would also receive this new order from the Shadow Emperor…

One of the outer Baronies…….
The local Catholic Church was in session for Sunday mass. The Father leading the mass was Father Demetri an ordained priest of the catholic faith. The mass was going as normal as the regular attendance had come as they usually did during Sunday mass. The father was about to address the people when the door was kicked open and several Imperial Shadow Enforcers entered the church armed with their standard batons and several Enforcer issued hand guns. The Imperial Shadow Enforcers charge at Father Demetri and beat him with their batons. The Father was hit repeatedly until the Head Enforcer ordered his cohorts to quit. Two very large Enforcers picked up Father Demetri and the Head Enforcer said to the stricken Priest, "Father Demetri, by the order of the Grand Shadow Emperor you and all you teach are considered heretics against the benevolent and merciful rule of the Grand Shadow Emperor Alfonso Von Antheron I."
Father Demetri replied groggily, "I have been doing these sermons for years why have you suddenly beaten me and call me a heretic?"
The crowd and even the Imperial Shadow Enforcers all suddenly were quiet as the sight of an Imperial Shadow Inquisitor walked into the broken doors and said, "It seems you did not receive warning about your teaching being heresy. I will enlightening you then heretic."
The Shadow Inquisitor held up an official document and broke the seal that contained the Imperial Shadow Proclamation. The Shadow Inquisitor proclaimed to all present the following,

I have decreed my divine right to rule over this realm and henceforth decree that all Foreign Religions are to be hereby expelled from the Grand Shadow Empire of Deatharon. If any subject of the Empire is caught worshipping one of these false gods they are to be interrogated by the Shadow Inquisition to gather a confession to their heresy. If they confess they may be spared at the cost of their property and to be sold as a slave to the Slave Guild. The Imperial Shadow Enforcers began to round all the people in attendance including the choir. The people were to be sent to several Interrogation dungeons across the Grand Shadow Empire of Deatharon. They would be tortured to confess their various sin against the noble and benevolent ruler of the Grand Shadow Empire of Deatharon. This kind of sight could be seen all across the Grand Shadow Empire as thousands of proclaimed heretics were gathered and sent to be processed and interrogated for their crimes…
