OOC: I'm just coming back after being away for a while. Restoration is a beautiful thing...time to start again. Biography is set somewhat into the future, but no tech change.

Just under a century after the end of WWII, the country of Germany established a government much unlike anything they had seen before. The country focused primarily on civil and political rights. They worried more about political correctness and less on their military might and economic stability. The people were let to do what they wanted to do as long as they didn't infringe on the civil rights of others. This seemed like a good idea and for a long time, it was. However, the lack of military power and the focus on welfare and "affirmative action" programs, along with other forms of "political correctness," caused the country to slip into a tough economic depression. No one could do what they wanted to do anymore, the country was unstable and under oppression by the forces of hunger.
Help came from an unsuspected source. The terrorist faction in post-war Germany had been growing with numbers of people who wanted to change the way the soft-government had been doing things. The Black Marc, the name of this terrorist faction, started to rise against the country's government with the leadership of a man named Trager. Trager had a vision of a country much like the older Germany with a stronger grip over its people. The terrorist group took over the government with a series of undercover missions that involved the assassination of influential politicians and the bombing of major political buildings.
Today, The Black Marc controls Germany and has changed the government to one ruled by a terrorist faction. They changed its name to "The German One," the name a symbol of the ideal that this is the one way that Germany was meant to be run. They have since strengthened the economy and cut back on civil rights. Few civil rights are practiced in order to keep "political correctness" from destroying the country again.
Now that The German One has been taken care of, The Black Marc is placing its "Marc" on the world by attempting to rid the world of nations who have continued to practice "political correctness." Welfare is destroying the world by making people lazy, and the new leader of The German One, Adolf Trager, is out to change the world one government at a time.
