'The United Republics of Vespeterium Minor has long been in conflict with the corrupt Jedi Order in Starcraft. The truth is, the organization that once pledged to help the innocent in Starcraft have now turned on those they have sworn to protect. They seek self enrichment, power and influence. But now, they have overstepped the mark. At 3:00pm Vespeterium Minor time, the Jedi order attempted to overthrow the Government of Vespeterium Minor and seize the power of this state for themselves. This cannot be allowed. They must be stopped, before they can do any more damage. This has been a message from the Office of the Mayor of Vespeterium Minor.'

Reein Sovo Axes Vespeterium nodded when he reviewed the message. Reein was an Arborian, a tall spider like creature standing at 8 feet high. Reein was 211 years old, and had been 'Grand Archan' of the United Republics since he had overthrown his brother, Paulo Von Gerrit, 7 years ago and established a moderate oligarchy in Vespetetium Minor. Senna, the smaller creatrue next to him spoke in a low voice. 'Do you think they will believe us Sir?' he asked.

Senna was the Deputy Mayor of the City State of Vespeterium Minor, he spoke in a low voice as he still found it hard to accept his new place in society. Just 9 years ago he had been a slave, like the rest of his race, the Ferra-Ka, until he had rebelled and found an ally in Reein and his friends. 'Well, will they?' he asked again.

Reein made a hissing noise and his eyes took on a blue tint. Senna knew by now that this meant that Reein was anxious, it was the same case in almost every Arborian. 'I don't know.' answered Reein. 'Our recent history hardly counts in our favour. The Jedi will find allies in the smaller colonies, especially those with majority human populations.' He shuddered a little. This is all Paulo's fault, he thought. He brother had been a lunatic, a Dictator and a genocidal maniac. He had attempted to wipe the human race from Star Craft, and now the Arborians were resented for this. Not a big surprise, but with over 50 billion humans throughout the System of Starcraft, not good news either.

'The Jedi will counter this with a broadcast of their own. Now we just sit back and wait.' he hesitated for a minute. Vespeterium Minor hadn't used military force since the Battle of Kerran Gate ended the Civil War. His eyes flashed blue again. 'Prepare the fleet.' he ordered.

Maten Capital City (Planet)

Dictator Darth Matter was reviewing the day's reports presented by the individual planet's Grand Moffs when a messenger ran it , bearing a message broadcasted by Vespeterium Minor .

After reading it for several minutes , he consulted helping them with his Grand Advisers and Vice-Grand Advisers . Eventually they all unanimously agreed ... because they were all Siths who were naturally interested to bring the downfall of the Jedi and make them extinct .

He then sent a hologram message to the Leaders of the Vespeterium Minors :

"The Galactic Empire of Mationbuds will gladly join your crusade against the corrupt Jedi . We will send 2 Fleets . The Empire Protectorate Starfleet led by Grand Admiral Sith Lord Darth Bane and the Retaliation Fleet led by Grand Admiral Sith Lord Marcus Periera to your nation to hunt down the Jedi .

Immediately he issued orders for the 2 fleets to be prepared to leave for Vespeterium Minor to hunt down and exterminate the Jedi . After several days of preperation , the fleets left Maten Capital Planet and the Maten II Planet for Vespeterium Minor and jumped to hyperspace .

As the fleets approached Vespeterium Minor , Sith Lord Darth Bane who was appointed as Commander In Chief of the Operation sent the message to the Vespeterium Minors :

"Vespeterium Minor , I am Grand Admiral Sith Lord Darth Bane of the Galactic Empire of Mationbuds . We are here to help you . With me are the Retaliation Fleet and Empire Protectorate Starfleets and my second in command is Sith Lord Marcus Periera . We are sent by Dictator Darth Matter to work with you to eliminate the Jedis ."

Senna ran into the room. 'Have you see...' he cut off as he saw Reein watching the holographic message. Reein finished watching it. 'Good, we have support.' he said slowly. Senna shifted uncomfortably on the spot. 'What is it?' asked Reein. 'I hear bad things about the Sith.' answered Senna. Reein nodded. 'I know, but the Sith have been one of our greatest allies for 1000 years. Anway, they're no worse than that lot.' he said, pointing to the picture of the Jedi leader on his screen. 'And the press like to take things out of proportion...' he muttered to himself. 'Send this message.' he ordered.

Your aid is most welcome, and we are happy to accept you help in winning this war started by the Jedi and ridding the Starcraft system of their corruption once and for all.

Darth Bane was sitting down reading the progress reports when the Vespeterium Minor message came in . He replied as follows :

We thank you for accepting our aid . Together we can work to bring about the downfall of the Jedi . My fleets will be arriving in your nation in approxminately 1 hour time .

IC: 'The fleet is aprroaching.' informed a Ferra-Ka who was working at the controls. Thuilides, the Commander of the Fleet and an Arborian, looked at the screen. 'Tell them they can descend' he ordered. 'I'll call the grand Archan'.

As Darth Bane received the Vespeterium Minor reply , he gave the order and the 2 fleets's ships immediately began to descend but did not enter the atmosphere because they were not built to do so . Instead they orbited the planet .

Darth Bane transferred ships to a Venator Class Star Destroyer which could enter plenetary atmosphere and it began to descend and landed on Vespeterium Minor . When the Venator landed , he stepped out , flanked by the famed and feared Dicter Warrior Commandoes (OOC : Super Elite forces) , the 105th and 160th Vanguard Battalions , 180th , 181st , 182nd Clone Trooper Divisions and 8th Elite Black Guard Unit to meet the Vespeterium Minor Mayor ...

Garron Salmis, the Mayor of Vespeterium Minor, waited next to his motorcade of Big-Wheels. Next to him stood Mason Herrods (the Commander of the Vespeterium Minor ground forces) and Reein Vespeterium, the Grand Archan himself.

'Quite a large force' whispered Garron. 'All the better to defeat the Jedi with.' whispered Reein back. Reein now pulled up to his full height, 8 foot 7, he was tall for even his race, as he did if he felt need to impose some control on a situation. It was well known that despite their size, Arborians were weaker than many other species. They made up for it with their vast knowledge of industry.

Reein stretched out his hand. 'Welcome to Vespeterium Minor.' he said. 'We'll breif you on the Jedi whereabouts.'

IC :

As Darth Bane strode forward , his face showed no expression but the hatred against the accursed Jedi . He stepped over to the Mayor of Vespeterium Minor and briefly shook hands and shared some words before doing the same to the Commander of the Vespeterium Minor Forces and the Grand Archan .

Then Darth Bane whispered to his aide , a Dicter Warrior Commando Seageant Major "They seem to be pretty tall and intimidating . But together we can crush the stupid Jedi that onced plagued our land ."

Then he faced the Vespeterium Minor Dignitaries and said "Thank you for your warm welcome , we will gladly follow you to the briefing . After which we should immediately start on exterminating the Jedi" as he followed the Vespeterium Minors to the briefing area ...

Reein beckoned at a holographic map on the table. 'Our intelligence has pinpointed the Jedi stronghold on the planet of Erminion, a human colony. They have around 10,000 in numbers here and the support of a large portion of the human populace. It will be a hard battle, but we must invade and take this place. The humans have a large fleet around the planet, but it shouldn't be much of a match for our combined fleets, it's mostly older technology bought off the black market. This isn't the only stronghold though. There are many others, but if we destroy this one, the Jedi should have a harder time reforming.

OOC: I'm gonna be gone for a few days, when I come back, I'll make a new thread 'Invasion and War'. Look out for it.

OOC : Sorry for the late reply . These few days I'm experiencing problems with my com and the exams are just around the corner ...

IC :

Darth Bane stood and silently listened to the briefing and when Reein had finished what he said , Bane nodded back to show that he understood before continuing "Excellent news . Although their numbers might be large , our combined fleet and army size with superior technology should suffice to crush the accursed Jedi . I shall move my fleets ahead to do some minor damage and some basic havoc . We shall rezedevous in Erminion's orbit in 5 days time . "

With that , Darth Bane turned and left the meeting room for his Lambada Shuttle which took off for the waiting Eclipse Class Super Star Destroyer in orbit . Then once safely on the bridge , he issued a command and all the ships from both fleets turned their angle and after some adjusment , jumped to hyperspace to Erminion .

After 10 hours , they arrived out of hyperspace around Erminion and immediately started to power up their weapons before unleashing deadly tirades of Turbolaser , Heavy Turbolaser , Ion Cannon , Heavy Ion Cannons , Proton Torpedoes , Concussion Missiles , Truncheon Torpedoes , Laser Cannons while preparing their quad turbolasers for any initial starfighter defence .

He also ordered that the superlasers be charged up , at 1/5 power which was more than enough to wipe out a city . They wanted to wreck damage but had no intention of destroying planets ...
