"Feel free to sample my larder. I have several Elves recently captured outside Facehuggerian territory that you may find to your liking, my Prince."

Heinrich walked slowly through the room, shadows seeming to coil around him as he paced, taking in the fine art decorating the walls, and the classical rhunate architecture his hosts residence utilized.

Pulling a bottle of amaranth from a rack cleverly hidden in the wall, Doose poured two glasses, and offered the larger of the two to the prince.

"You see, I haven't had much use for such devices in recent times, especially since you were reported, ah... Well, may I ask why-"

"No, Doose, you may not."

Setting down his glass, Heinrich stepped forwards, the shadows flying away from him like living creatures. Doose flinched despite herself at the sight of the Prince's body, covered in scar tissue. He appeared somehow... wrong.

Doose shook herself, freeing her mind of such thoughts. Heinrich was her superior, her Prince, and as close to a friend as a Rhun could come to.

"I need those materials, Doose. There is a war coming that the Arbiter himself could not have anticipated. Rhunholm herself shall run with the blood of her people, and the Empire will be sundered. You are my confidante, Doose. You are one of the few on this wretched planet I may trust, and I need the Arcanos."

Doose stared in shock.

"Such thoughts are the highest treason! You will be arrested for even considering them, much less speaking them! Give me one good reason not to-"
"Turn me in to the Arbiter's forces? You should not worry so much, child. I have discovered new powers and a new... friend during my sojourn. My Grandfather can no longer sense me, and holds no sway over me, or anyone I care to extend my protection to. In any event, his attention should be... diverted right now. My 'captors' should be arriving to deliver my stasis chamber to him any moment now..."

"What?!? What the hell do you mean he's not there?!? You can't just walk out of a stasis field! And where the hell is our bounty?"

The Marine shoved Marlin, sending him sprawling off the boarding ramp of the Dirty Girl.

"You dare question my word, morsel? The Prince is not in his cell, and you dare question me? All that is in the cargo bay is the wreckage of a stasis cell, and a meter wide hole leading to the ship's exterior!"

Marlin gaped at the towering Rhun.

"Did you say... a meter... wide... hole?"

Scrambling into the Dirty Girl, Marlin sprinted to the cargo compartment where Heinrich's stasis cell was stored. Sure enough, a large hole bored directly through the ships hull stood over the wreckage of the stasis cell.

Marlin gulped.

"I think we're all in a whole lot of trouble..."

"Quite..." A voice echoed from behind Marlin, as Ezekial stepped forward, kneeling to examine the hole; sighing softly. "Once again, it would seem, we are thwarted. It took us so long to get him, and now; now, well, we seem to have another hunt on our hands. The Rhunish will be less than pleased..."

He ran a hand through his hair, before whirling about, eyeing Marlin with a mix of anger and suspicion. "And how do you suppose he was able to slip past our defences, break out of a Stasis Field, and rend a hole to freedom!?"
