OOC-I believe OOC is out of character. Anyway, this is a thread for a Gala, etc in Yurislavania following Andrea's coronation. Theao suggested it to me.

Queen Andrea stood in front of a mirror, trying out a new dress. It was for the gala that was to take place at the Autumn Palace. Her maid helped her as she tried it on.

''Your Majesty, this dress looks well on you.'' the maid said politely.

''Thank you. I want to look good for the gala. I'll be seeing a lot of people from other lands there.'' Andrea said to her maid.

After she finished trying on her dress, she went to the Throne Room and asked that one of her ministers write up a notice for the Gala. Meanwhile, Andrea inspected everything, making sure the food and decorations were ready. She was also waiting for the personnel from Theao.

The minister sent this out:

''To All Nations,
Yurislavania is hosting a gala this evening. If anyone would like to come to the gala, please inform us so that we can know who will be coming. Thank you for your time.''

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that which was concerned with diplomatic relations, had hired and sent a number of top caterers, waiters, and other miscellaneous service personel that would aid in making Queen Andrea's gala an affair to remember.

Jason Le'ano, a young diplomatic agent of the age of eighteen had arrived with the service people. He intended to present himself to the Queen, and should she be willing, he was to request to be her escort.

When the servicers arrived, the officals let them in to establish themselves and set up for the Gala. As for Jason, he was brought to the Throne Room where Andrea was. She was wearing a formal dress with jewelry, this was her attire for the ball. When she saw Jason, she conversed with a offical in her native tongue before another offical said ''You must be Jason of Theao. We welcome you to Yurislavania.''

Andrea was hopeful the gala worked out and she thanked Theao for their help.

We are most delighted to be invited to your gala and will, of course, be in attendence.

"Yes I am, and thank you for the welcome. Your Majesty, might I request the honour of being your escort for the gala celebration?" He asked as he directed a bow to Andrea.

Andrea smiled and said ''You can be my escort to the gala. Thank you.'' Then Andrea said ''How are the preparations for the gala going?'' She wanted to know how things were doing from her escort to the gala.

Jonensburg, Kulikovo

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dannenberg shifted through the mail. He saw the letter from Yuriislavania. It was an invitation to a gala. Danneberg was far to busy to attend himself. The Prime Minister and other cabinet members were away in Tarayshia. So, he called one of his staff in, a young man who was trying to become a diplomat. His name was Valerik Andropov, he was once a member of the Foreign Security Agency as an agent. The aging Dannenberg called him in "Valerik, come into my office"
"Yes sir"
"There is going to be a gala in the nation of Yurislavania. I am unable to attend. Now, our nation is trying to open diplomatic channels with more nations. I would like you to go." Dannenberg said.
"Sir, it would be an honor. I will pack immediatley"

Our nations would like to send a trusted aide by the name of Valerik Andropov to the gala. It would give our nations a chance to open diplomatic ties amd possiblty other avenues

Yuri Vochenko (http://www.studiondr.com/images/art/people/afrikakorps.jpg) had been appointed the Horde's new political advisor. Tucked beneath his trenchcoat was a small slip of paper. On it were written the words

He dispatched a letter and had hiz Zeppelin readied.

The Horde of Doom wishes to field myself to this gala, in hopes of establishing new ties.

"Thank you Andrea, you don't mind if I call you Andrea do you?" He asked, "And I do believe the preparations are well in hand."

''To Kulikovo and the Horde of Doom,
You are both welcome to our gala. Your representives will be welcomed with open arms.''

''I don't see why you could not call me that. I'm not really that big into titles, at least for now.'' Andrea joked. ''That's good. I want this gala to be good.'' Andrea remarked.

"With you as a host, how could it fail." Jason replied in a charming voice. He looked at one of the staff, who gestured, "I've just been informed that they should be ready shortly."

Andrea blushed a little at Jason's comment. ''When they are ready, those nations interested can send their people over.'' Andrea said. ''The gala is to be in the Autumn Palace.'' Andrea stated.

*Lets Just Skip to him getting there*

Yuri had been shown into the palace, refusing to take off his mask or uniform. His trenchcoat flowed as he walked and he searched for this "Queen." He was really unaware why he was here, the Horde did not need allies.

Yuri had become, as many had, closet anarchists during the civil war. He loved the sense of constant war, and the smell of burning cities. And now look where he was...

Still, in the Horde a stiff upper lip was the current command, and the citizens obeyed. Yuri lit up a cigar and made a hole for it in his mask. He stood near a corner smoking, waiting for this queen to approach him.

"Shall we go over there then?" He asked as he offered his arm to the diminunative queen.

OOC-Horde of Doom, not to be rude or anything but I want the gala to be ready first, then I will send a notice for it being ready. Me and Theao have discussed these things. Sorry for any mixups.

''I guess we could.'' Andrea said, taking Jason's arm. The officals shouted well wishes as they left.

''That is all good. Thank you for everything.'' Andrea said. ''Also, I am still thinking of new ideas.'' Andrea said. They reached the palace and when they got in, Andrea said ''Jason! Your people made my palace beautiful! It is all well done!'' She thanked him and the service people for the excellent job they did.

"They are amongst the best Theao had to offer. I'm sure a couple nobles are annoyed at losing thier talents, even if it's only for one gala." Jason replied with a grin. "Should we open the doors to the diplomats and representatives from the other nations?"

"As you wish." He replied as he went and sent off a message to all those that had applied that the gala was now only awaiting thier arrival to begin.

Queen Andrea noticed Yuri and walked up to him, greeting him. ''Nice to meet you.'' Andrea said politely. ''I am Queen Andrea of Yurislavania. I'm glad you could attend this gala.'' Andrea said politely. She was one of the youngest rulers in Yurislavanian history.

After sending the message off, Jason returned to see Andrea speaking to the first diplomat to arrive, and moved to join her.

OOC: Put simply, Croatian saying for "Finally!"

Taking the cigar out of his mouth and fixing his mask, he reached his hand out to greet the very young queen. She may not have been able to see his eyes behind his goggles, but no doubt they would show confusion.
"You are the queen? Um...thank you your majesty. It is how you say...ah, I cannot seem to master your language. It is good, but better then good to meet you."

He straightened out his trenchcoat and put his hand on her soldier. "Tell me malen dijete, tell me about your family."

''I am the Queen. My father passed on and I was an only child. My mother is still alive though, as are my relatives.'' Andrea said. ''I see you like to wear a mask. That's alright, it's your personal choosing.'' Andrea said to Yuri. Then she said ''I'll go see if anyone else has come. See you soon.'' Andrea left and went to see if the people from the other nations arrived yet.

Jason had arrived, and went over to the buffet, to get a small something before heading over to Andrea, "Would you like something to eat or drink?" He asked her.

''Perhaps, Jason. I don't seem that hungry or what not right now.'' Andrea said. ''Thanks for organizing this, I do hope the other nations arrive.'' Andrea remarked.

Commodore Dol stepped off a carriage, his shiny black boots clacking against the floor. He adjusted his monocle and sniffed the air. "I'm in the mood for a good hullabaloo," he said to himself.

The white haired, monocle wearing, handlebar mustached, commodore was about 6'2 and was slightly chubby around the stomach. He claimed it was his nervousness affecting his weight, but everyone knew it was clearly his knack of smelling dessert miles away.

He wore a navy blue tailcoat, with matching trousers, and bowtie. He walked around with an air of superiority, taking in the sites. He stopped as he observed some archetecture of the palace. Twirling his mustache with one hand and holding the cane in the other, he smiled as he smelled treats in the air.

I like to wear a mask?
Yuri had been horribly burned by UDF forces during the war, causing his face to resemble a monster's. Even if this fact had not been true, DSC had requiered all citizens to wear masks outside of the Vaults.
"Be exusing Queen. Would you be liking to see what lies under my mask? What gifts Civil war has given upon me?"

He stopped and took a breath.

"I am sorry for my outburst."

''I see another guest.'' Andrea said. She walked up to the Commodore and said ''Hello there. Welcome to Yurislavania. I am Queen Andrea.'' She extended her hand out to him in greeting. ''More people will come, I will have a lively and vibrant gala soon!'' Andrea thought to herself.

''Yuri, I apologize if I have offended you or anything. Civil war is always bad but if you want me to see what is under your mask, I guess I could see it.'' Andrea said. ''Apology accepted.'' she stated.

"Would you like something to eat or drink?" Jason asked Andrea as he walked over.

Dol watched the girl walk up to him. He smiled to himself. I was never informed the queen had daughters, he thought to himself.

The girl introduced herself as Queen Andrea, catching the commodore of guard. He pulled his hand away from his mustache, pulling hard on it. Slightly teary eyed, he bowed low, taking the queen's hand and kissing it, as he would any queen.

"Forgive me, Queen Andrea, I was merely admiring your palace," he replied. His monocle fell from his face, dangling from his jacket. "It is an honor to meet you!"

''Sure. I would like a drink please, but not alcoholic, I am too young.'' Andrea said.

"Anything in particular?" He asked, as while technically of age, he didn't drink either.

"My face has a tendency to..do the scare to children. I would prefer my mask. Go, enjoy yourself with other guests! Do not wait for poor Yuri!" he chuckled. He took a long puff of his cigar, feeling the paper in his hand.

He took in the second guest. He wore a moustache that was popular in the Horde and must have been a military man. Yuri walked over to the man, streching out his hand.
"Halo, my name is being Yuri. How may you being?"

''Thank you. The Autumn Palace is certainly a well made palace. And it is an honor to meet you too.'' Andrea said. ''You may make yourself at home. I am just waiting for more to come, I am expecting Prince Drake of Fourhearts and others.'' Andrea stated.

''Perhaps some soda, I guess.'' Andrea said nervously. She nodded at Yuri and went to see the other guests and Jason.

The Queen's Cross

Drake sat in the Captain's Chair of the Queen's Cross looking rather annoyed.

Prince Drake might have been the Crown Prince in a nation of over a billion people, but Drake didn't exactly grow up like most princes did. When he was 12, his father kicked him out of the palace onto an airship. It was this airship actaully. He started out as a cabin boy with nobody except the Captain knowing his heritage. He grew strong and gathered quite a reputation in the Fleet for doing tough dangerous jobs. As he grew older, and the secret had let out that he was the Prince, he was made an officer in the Airship Armada. His skill with a blade and leadership under pressure gained him the fierce loyalty of his men, who would pass up promotions just to stay on the Queen's Cross

Now the Queen's Cross had recived a bit of an upgrade and High Command (...or rather his Father), felt it nessasary for Drake to play Diplomat. Which he secretly suspected was only to encourage him to marry and settle down.

The Master Cheif, the top ranked enlisted man on the airship, walked over to Drake and saluted quickly, "Sir!, We're getting close to our destination. Shouldn't you be getting ready?"

Drake looked over and gave the Chief a look. The Chief returned the look. Sensing defeat, Drake arose from his chair into his quarters to put on his dress uniform.

"Hey Cheif, remind me again why I'm doing this and not an ambassodor?"

"Because your father thinks that you need to get out more. People at home like to see the Prince getting out, makes them think your gonna get married some day."

"I know, I know, everyone reads the Times, but what about this headline..."

Drake paused to as he adjusted his gold tie. He grabbed his long black coat as he continued.

"Prince Drake leads heroic bombing raid against Kraven Forces!"

The Cheif gave him a look. Everyone in Fourhearts hoped. Everyone in the Fleet knew that Drake was just too wild to be tamed just yet.

"What? Too long? Ok...ok...Prince bombs shit out of Kraven"

The Cheif gave him another looked and handed him his raiper.

"Come on sir, we'll be landing soon"

Prince Drake walked into the Gala and took a look around. He was dressed in a long black trenchcoat which had a gold stripe running down the shoulders and arms. His rank of Air Commander was placed on his shoulder boards and his chest had several campaign medals from various missons he had flown on. His sword was fastened at his side, although Drake did not think he would need it here. In his hand, a small box with a gift for the new Queen.

"Twill be a wonderful party, I'm sure," Dol replied, wiping his monocle with his shirt.

"Greetings, Yuri. I am...well," Commodore Dol replied to Yuri, offering his hand, smiling slightly.

Andrea noticed Prince Drake and came to him. She introduced herself ''Greetings, I am Queen Andrea. Welcome to the gala and to Yurislavania.'' ''I see you are a military man, you have many medals.'' Andrea said to Drake. ''Make yourself at home if you wish.'' Andrea told Drake.

''Thanks. I hope it will be wonderful too.'' Andrea said to the Commodore.

Jason nodded and went to fetch Andrea a drink, of the requested type, before returning with it. "Here you go Andrea."

"Twill be a wonderful party, I'm sure," Dol replied, wiping his monocle with his shirt.

"Greetings, Yuri. I am...well," Commodore Dol replied to Yuri, offering his hand, smiling slightly.
"So, where you being from? Oh, by way, I no speak dis language good."

OOC-Other nations can come too.

''Thanks, Jason.'' Andrea said. ''You got grape soda? I like grape soda. Thank you.'' Andrea said, drinking her soda.

Prince Drake returned her greeting with a slow bow. Rising up again, he presented Queen Andera with the box.

"Your Majesty, It is my honor that I present this gift to you on behalf of my people. The People of Fourhearts sends you their warmest wishes for the future."

The box contained a silver necklace with four heart-shaped blue diamonds that were the color of the sky.

"It is a pleasure to meet you.

So I've noticed, thought Dol, chuckling slightly. "I am from the Protectorate Isles of Blastonia. Do not worry about the language, I tend to catch on quickly," laughed Dol, adjusting his monocle.

"I thought you might." He replied as the music began. "Would you like to dance?" He asked

Andrea smiled at Drake and took the necklace. ''This is a very nice necklace. Thank you very much.'' Andrea said, putting it on. ''I believe Jason wants to dance, I will see you soon. Thank Fourhearts for their support.'' Andrea said.

Andrea went to Jason and said ''Sure, we can dance. I have done some dancing before, I think I have.'' They went to the dance floor and began dancing.

Soon, other men and women, officals and nobles came out, interacting with the foreign guests.

"So how are you liking the party?" He asked as they danced.

''It's a good party. Everyone is interacting with each other. It is an awesome party.'' Andrea said.

"Then let us hope it continues to rock." He replied as the song finished.

Commodore Dol twirled his mustache again. He cleared his throat, his face showing confusion. "Mmmm ho ho...but my speaking language is still English, my friend!" he chuckled slightly. His eyes gazed towards a beautiful noblewoman walking by. He cleared his throat again, and adjusted his monocle, looking at the woman's...well...

Dol smiled, pulling his finger out of his mustache, again pulling his hair. With a slight yelp, he let go of his monocle, letting it hang from his jacket again. "Oh, bloody..." groaned Dol as he reached out to grab the swaying monocle.

''It will rock, I am sure.'' Andrea said. She left Jason and decided to see how everyone was doing. She bumped into Dol and Yuri and was glad to see them interacting.

''This party is turning to be a blast!'' Andrea thought.

Meanwhile, the woman Dol was looking at turned and saw him. She smiled and then continued walking.

"Ha ha! You have a taste for the ladies eh?" He slapped the man's back with freindship. "Ahem," he handed the man a picture. (http://www.ratraceproductions.com/trike-babe.jpg)
"Her phone number is on de back. How do you say...she be loving long time!" He gave as very loud chuckle and patted the man on the back again.

Jason began wandering the party, occasionally talking with one of the guest, either native or foreign. Other than keeping an eye on Andrea, his behavior was quite normal for a party guest.

Andrea talked to some of the noblility that were there. She was glad things were going well. ''I wonder if anymore nations will come.'' Andrea thought.

Dol blushed slightly as the woman smiled at him.

His monocle slipped from his face again as Yuri patted his back. Putting his monocle back on, he took a look at the picture, adjusting his monocle again. "MMmm ho ho! I may just see how she's doing sometime..." he chuckled as he looked at the picture and examining the phone number.

"Your Highness, marvelous party," Commodore Dol replied with a large grin as he shoved the picture in his pocket before anyone could see.

''Thank you, Commodore. I hope it will turn out even better.'' Andrea said in reply. ''How are things for you so far?'' Andrea asked. She wanted to interact with the people of the gala.

"Yes, wonderful party! As we say in my country: Više jako piće toliko bolje!" Knowing full well that noone knew what he just said, he laughed a hearty laugh. He turned to the man with the moustache. "Exuse me, it was great doing the talk, but I am under orders to...eh..Govno dovraga!" He struggled to remember the word. "Ah! Mingle! That is word. Yes, I must mingle. It was pleasure!"

He a walked up to the man from Theao and tapped him on the shoulder. "Exuse me." He took a puff of his cigar. 'Do you have any...stronger drinks around then the soda fizzle?"

OOC-There are lots of kinds of drinks, Andrea had a soda because she is underage.

Andrea was glad Yuri and the Commodore enjoyed the party. She continued walking around, interacting with guests.

''I knew this would be a excellent gala!'' Andrea thought.

"Good to meet you, Yuri!" Dol shouted after the masked man.

The commodore turned his attention back to the queen. "M'lady, you may refer to me as Dol, if you want," He said with a smile. "Things are going well for me!"

"But how are things going for your, your highness?" he asked, suddenly serious. "I am so deeply sorry about your father. It must be hard to cope with..."

Drake was getting restless.

Something was happening.

Something wasn't quite right.


Damn it

He had his cell phone with him and was tempted to call and see how the ship was doing, but he resisted. He had after all just gotten here.

Still...something in his head wanted to go back to the ship.

Drake looked at the young man that was standing near the Queen. As the Queen excused herself, the man's face flashed with disappointment.

Hmmm...they're about the same age...obviously he's fond of her...

The two had been dancing earlier and granted, the two did make a cuter couple than Mr. Moustash over there.

Hmm.... hmm...back to the ship....need to get back to the ship...

She watched the Queen turn back and smile at Jason. It seemed that Jason had adopted a little sister.

My god....I'm feel like I'm at a prom.

Drake thought back for a moment. His cousin had been all excited about her prom. Something about under the stars or some romantic crap like that.

Under the stars? Bingo! That's it!

Once the Queen and Jason were standing realitivly close to each other again, Drake strolled over.

"Your majesty, I must congradulate you on your timing. The sky is very clear and there's a new moon out. Perfect for stargazing. You see, Fourheartsmen love to look at the stars. The best view is from one of our airships."

Drake paused and just before the Queen could respond.

"I'd love to show you and your escort up to the crows nest. It will only take you a moment I assure you. My airship can pick us up right outside the door. I promise you it's a sight to see my'lady!"


[OCC: Don't worry about Drake's feeling that something is wrong. It has nothing to do with the Gala or the airship.]

"Yes there are, what might you be looking for, brandy, scotch, vodka?" Jason asked as he'd made sure that there were alcoholic drinks, but made sure they were kept seperate from the non-alcoholic drinks.

''That is good things are going well for you, Dol.'' Andrea said. ''I have learned to deal with the loss of my father. I miss him but I've learned to go on in life, still remembering him.'' Andrea said.

She turned to Drake and said ''It would be lovely if I could see the stars and the moon with my escort. Would you care to lead us?''

Andrea was overjoyed, things were going excellently.

"No no, something for adults." he pulled out a small flask from his coat. "300 proof! Too much can make you go blind! Could you be having me a glass of Vodka so I may be water it down?"

As the man had asked for simply a glass of vodka it was assumed to be neat, at least by Jason. Getting a glass of the requested beverage he returned and handed it to the man before noticing that Andrea was motioning for him, "If you'll excuse me." He said as he walked over to the child queen.

''That is good things are going well for you, Dol.'' Andrea said. ''I have learned to deal with the loss of my father. I miss him but I've learned to go on in life, still remembering him.'' Andrea said.

She turned to Drake and said ''It would be lovely if I could see the stars and the moon with my escort. Would you care to lead us?''

Andrea was overjoyed, things were going excellently.

Drake smiled and began walking towards the door. He wiped out his cell phone and called the Cheif.

Cheif, it's me. Three for pickup. VIPs. Clear the crows nest! Out

Drake turned back and said, "I used to serve on this ship when I was a boy. My father thought I was too wild and put me in the Armada to set me straight. Now, he can't keep me out of the sky!"

As they walked out the door, The Queen's Cross was hovering over the courtyard with it's long ramp already down.

"After you young lady and sir!"

Once aboard the Queen's Cross Drake took the couple to the elevator that would lead to the crows nest. The Cheif, now in full dress uniform, stood waiting by the elevator.

"Sir, if you have a moment. A nobleman has a message for you."

Drake's faced flashed a tint of rage. He had known something was up. The 'nobleman' was cheif-speak for 'Sir, the shit just hit the fan, sir.'

"Of course I have a moment, You two go ahead and enjoy the view"

[OCC: Um, how old is Andrea exactly...I'm assuming she's a teenager? Right?]

Pouring very little of his "special drink" he moved his mask and gulped down the vodka. After placing the cup down, he fought the urge to...get intimate with the ladies at the party. He shook his head, trying to clear his mind. He knew he had a diplomatic purpose...some offer he had to make...but what.

He knew what would happean to him if he failed. DSC refused to accept failure. He would be liquidated.

He leaned against a wall, his hands on his head. He had to remember.

OOC-Andrea is 13 or younger, hence she is called The Child Queen. If this age is not ok, I guess I could change it.

Andrea admired the stars and the moon. ''Jason, the view is lovely, is it not?'' Andrea said to him. ''Thank you for the opportunity to see this!'' Andrea said to Drake.

She continued to look, admiring the view. ''Jason, thanks for organizing this party. I could never have done so on my own.'' Andrea said.

''I guess Drake had to go.'' Andrea remarked but in a polite way.

"Yes it is, I don't think I've ever seen the sky so clearly." He commented, "Your welcome Andrea, but it was you who made it a true party rather than simply a stuffy ball, and I guess he did, possibly something going on in his nation."

ooc: They're nothing wrong with her age, since while Jason likes her he doesn't like like her(since she is thirteen afterall)

OOC-I understand, Theao. I chose 13 because I wanted to make her a Child Queen, that was my storyline.

''Thank you for the compliment. The sky can be seen so clearly indeed. And if something is going on in his nation, I hope it is not something bad.'' Andrea said.

"So do I as he seems a nice enought fellow." After they'd continued stargazing for a while, he asked, "Should we go see how the party's gone in our absence?"

[OCC: I was just checking since Drake indicated in earlier post a suspison of a crush, but I've edited it since then]

The two could hear bootsteps on steel and a voice coming up from the stairwell.

"It's a fantastic view isn't it!", Drake said with pride. There was no sign of worry on his face. Just a smiling airsailor looking out at the stars.

"My crew can take you back down when your ready. Go ahead and take your time though. The stars are very peaceful. It helps to get a perspective sometimes."

Drake was thinking about all the lives that had just ended at the hands of Automagfreek. About how this changed the war his nation was fighting. About how busy he was going to for the next few days.

"My'lady. Allow me to offer some simple advice:

There will be times when you will feel that the world is on your shoulders. Just remember how the stars look. How big and vast the galaxy really is. You'll find that the world is not so small, even when placed squarly on your shoulders.


And with that, Drake went back down the stairwell.

''Yes, let us go to the party. I want to see how everyone is.'' Andrea said, walking with her escort.

OOC-Any other nations can join still if they want to.

''It is fantastic indeed.'' Andrea said. Andrea looked at the stars for a while before she went with Jason. ''That is inspiring advice, Drake. I will keep it to my heart.'' Andrea said, for his advice was good. She went with Jason to see the party.

OOC-I understand. The storyline was for a Child Queen, hence her age.

"Yes that is good advice." He commented as he and Andrea walked back to the party.

Commodore Dol had 'mysteriously" found his way to the desert table, and immediately ate a good many eclairs and other delicious desserts. Wiping his mustache and mouth, he looked towards the noblewoman who smiled at him earlier.

"Mmm...you can do it, Dol, ol' boy! Why, back in your prime, you were the hunk of the country!" he muttered to himself, as he made his way towards the noblewoman, nervously cleaning his monocle.

"Excuse me, kind lady. May I have this dance?" he asked, bowing low.


ooc: Yurislavania, do you want to RP as the noblewoman, or should I?

as a single carriage pulled up to the Autumn Palace it looked in a hurried manner. It was an important one no doubt, but it was fairly simple look to it.
Out of the carriage, came two teenagers holding hands, the boy was about 6'1 and had short black hair and and a suit on, while the girl was about 5'8 with a dazzling blue dress and beautiful blue eyes to match.

one of the palace guards had asked the coachmen "who are they?" while the coach man simply replied "that is Kenny and Anna, the Emperor and Empress of Cookborough."He nodded at this reply.

The two were walking quickly and saw that the party had already started
"we're late "Kenny muttered under his breath in a slightly exasperated tone of voice.

Andrea went back to the party and saw the Emperor and Empress of Cookborough. She went to them and said ''Greetings. You must be the Emperor and Empress of Cookborough. I am Queen Andrea of Yurislavania.''

OOC-I'll do the noblewoman, I suppose.

The noblewoman smiled at Dol and said ''I would be a pleasure to have this dance. I was thinking of dancing anyway.'' They went to the dance floor and began dancing together, with many of the other people there.

After several fast paced dances, Some nice slow dancing music began to play. Dol smiled as he put his hands on the noblewomans slender waist. "Pleasre excuse my rudeness, I have forgotten to give you my name. I am Commodore Dol, but my friends just call me Dol," he said with a smile. "What is your name?"

''My name is Helena.'' the noblewoman said, placing her hands around Dol. ''You are a good dancer.'' Helena remarked as she danced with Dol.

Andrea got a drink from the table and stood, watching her gala unfold. ''This is a most excellent gala!'' Andrea thought to herself.

"Helena, such a beautiful name," He replied smiling slightly. "I always say, a dancer can only be as good as their partner. And you, Helena, are a good dancer!"

"My lady, how did you get to know Queen Andrea?" He asked as he stared into her eyes.

''Thanks for the compliments.'' Helena said, blushing. ''My family knew Andrea's father. I talked and played with Andrea before, I did not know she would be the future Queen.'' Helena said.

''Would you like to do something else? The fervence of dancing has faded.'' Helena said.

"Perhaps you would like to go outside for a little stroll with me?" he asked, grinning widely. Dol, you sly man, you. You always had it with the ladies... he thought.

''I guess we could go outside for a stroll.'' Helena said. They went outside through the gardens. ''Do you like the gala so far?'' Helena said.

"Oh it is great fun! Back where I come from, such parties are not held often. Are you having fun, Helena?" He asked as he sniffed some of the roses. "Such a beautiful garden!"

''I am having fun too. This gala was made because Queen Andrea was told of a possiblity of having one or something.'' Helena said. Helena sniffed some of the roses and said ''Shall we continue our stroll?''

If anyone still wants to attend the gala, they can. Thanks to all who have done so already and thanks to Theao who helped me plan this.

"Of course!" he chuckled.

"So tell me, how is Yurislavania? This is my first time here...but you probably already new that," he chuckled, looking into Helena's eyes, while fiddling with his mustache again.

''Yurislavania is a nice nation to live in with great forests and the such. I'm glad you could come visit us.'' Helena said, looking into Dol's eyes.

"Tell me, Helena. What did you and Queen Andrea do as children? Do you two still spend time with each other?" Dol asked, inching slightly closer to Helena.

''We did many things. Although I was a teenager when she was a small child. Andrea and I are good friends, I believe.'' Helena said.

"Ah, excellent. With these recent happenings, I'm sure the Queen will want to keep her friends close to comfort her."

They continued walked a bit, before Dol faced Helena again. "Helena, what are your hobbies?"

''I concur with that statement.'' Helena said. ''I have many hobbies like fencing for example. Why do you ask?'' Helena said with a smile.

Jason wandered the party, talking with some guests, getting himself something to eat, generally helping on making sure Andrea's gala was a success.

"Oh, I do enjoy a good fencing match. I was required to learn it to be in the navy. I was quite the expert at one point."

"I was just wondering. Perhaps...you would like to have a sparring match with me sometime?" Dol asked nervously.

''That's good. You would then have a lot of experience. Also, a fencing match would be ok, I suppose.'' Helena said.

"You would have to be easy on me, Helena. I have not fenced in a while!" he chuckled. "What else do you like to do?"

''Let go see the party and Queen Andrea. And I would be easy on you.'' Helena said, giggling and smiling.

*Great I go to work, and I miss everything*

Yuri had enough of the party, controlling his urge to burn the place to the ground. The Anarchist inside was nearly screaming. Silently, and with a last puff of his cigar, he walked briskly out of the gala...

"I agree," replied Commodore Dol. He brought out his hand and waited to see if Helena took it.

Helena took Dol's hand and they walked to the gala.

Prince Drake had long since left the Gala, but a handwritten note on fine parchment had been left for the young queen.

Dear Queen Andrea,

Thank you for inviting me to your Gala. I apoligize for my sudden departure, but I was called away on urgent buisness. I hope our paths will cross once more.

Anastasia read the note and had a reply sent:

Dear Prince Drake,

I understand. Thank you for coming to my gala though. It was nice to meet you. I am sure somehow our paths may cross again.

Jason noticed the child queen reading a note and wondered if anything was amiss as from experience when a servent needed to tell someone something sensitive at a party, a note was the most common way of doing so. Walking over, he asked, "Does that contain a problem?"

Anastasia read the note and had a reply sent:

Dol smiled to himself. Here he was, an aged naval commander, with a beautiful girl from another country holding his hand, and perhaps willing to go on a date with him. He chuckled. Wait 'till the boys at home hear about this!

Seeing Queen Andrea, Dol walked up to her, holding hands with Helena. "Your highness, I must say, this is quite an incredible ball! I'm sure people will speak of it for years to come!"

I meant Andrea. Sorry for that.

''Jason, nothing is wrong. Drake of Fourhears wrote he had to go because of urgent business.'' Andrea replied. She turned to Dol and said ''Thank you for the compliments. Also, I see you are getting along with my friend.'' Andrea smiled at Helena and Dol. ''There is still plenty of food and drink.'' a waiter called.

"Ah, that is good." He replied as he noticed the party seemed to be beginning to die down.

"Are you enjoying the party, your highness? It is, afterall, your celebration!" asked Dol.

''Of course I enjoy it! This is a succesful gala indeed!'' Andrea said. Andrea left and took a plate of food and ate it while she watched the gala.

As Anna and Kenny walked slowly over to the food table they were talking very quickly
"this is such a nice party, kinda like the one we went to in the Sofian Empire, remember?"said Anna
"well not exactly but, i like this one better" replied Kenny
The two stared at one another looking derictly in each other's eyes and the said simultaneously "want to dance?"
Anna had started to blush when Kenny took her hand and they slowly danced across the floor.

Helena looked at Dol and said ''Tell me about yourself, Dol.'' Helena brushed her hair back as she waited for Dol to reply.

Andrea went to Jason and said ''Jason, how are you liking the gala? Are you having a blast?''

"I'm enjoying it quite a bit, and you?" He asked

''I am enjoying it too. Jason, would you like to walk with me in the gardens?'' Andrea said.

"Sure." Jason replied, looking at the child queen.

Andrea and Jason went to the gardens and as they walked, Andrea said ''Jason, what is Theao like? I'm sure it must be interesting and fascinating.''

"That'd be a matter of opinion as I find Yurislavania more interesting than home, but that might be because I'm use to it. As to what it's like, what would you like to know?" He asked

''I want to know everything on Theao. If it is possible to do so.'' Andrea said.

"Everything is a lot to cover, it'd be easier if you asked the basic questions and I'll cover them as best I can." Jason replied with a faint smile.

''I understand. What is your hometown like?'' Andrea asked.

"A couple thousand people, nestled in the Seit forest. It's comfortable, relaxed and generally a great place to live." He replied

''That is a nice nation you come from. Theao would be nice to visit.'' Andrea said. ''Shall we continue our walk or go back to the gala?'' Andrea asked, fixing herself up.

"Would you like to visit someday?" He asked, "And it's up to you if you wish to continue or return."

As they continued the walk, Jason reached over, picked a flower and tucked it into Andrea's hair with a smile.
