The hours had stretched into days and the days into weeks and the newest Samtonian defense zone was finally taking shape. Across the small peninsula claimed by Samtonia, infrastructure had been raised and improvements had gone up. The glistening cranes tantamount to ports towered over new berths, with ships of the People's Guard already using the site as a refueling station. Massive lines of troops and vehicles spread out, to barracks and training facilities across the area. And every airbase was full, planes beginning to cram up the secured spaces prepared for them.
Samtonia was running out of space. Colonists from the overcrowded cities in Samtonia were already flooding onto the territory, presenting immediate problems in infrastructure, upkeep, and space to the military commanders in the region. And with the entire area dissolving into what looked like war, now was the perfect time for controlled expansion.
It was with this intent that armies began assembling, that the navy began drawing near to the deepwater ports and planes began crowding airfields. Division after division was activated, the burning petrochemicals from massed divisions of tanks soon wafting into the air , obscuring satellite readouts. Of course, hints were dropped around that this was just to defuse any situation with the Kraven Corporation. But Samtonia didn't necessarily tell the truth to all foreign nations....
