Aequatian Republic Joint Military Forces - International Combat Training Facility (ARJMF-INCTF)

As combat operations is dangerous to soldiers and adds to the fatigue of forces, real-life war games within a simulated environment is the most effective method of training for all branches of a nation's military. As modern conflicts are won by forcess trained with their equipment to the point of being the most adept experts, the role of the International Combat Training Facility is to provide Aequatian and Allied Nations' Forces with a perfect environment to simulate operations and missions on both a strategic and tactical level, including combined arms such as infantry, armour, artillery, combat engineering and support aviation. Air Forces also participate providing close air support, air interdiction and air superiority in order to prevent the enemy from using the same tactics.

The facility will be divided into a number of separate centres located in different environments around the Aequatian Republic that were selected as to their similarities to environments which forces are most likely to encounter when deployed on operations.

Alpha Centre - Located in the Western Desert 400km Southeast of Avellorn, Aequatius Prime. Its primary function is training maneuver forces in Military Operations in Arid/Desert Environments (MOADE) as well as limited Fighting In Built-Up Areas (FIBUA). Its permanent training unit is the Aequatian Republic Joint Military Force's 21st Training Brigade.

Sister Facilities: Fort Burnett (ARA), Bernstein Air Force Base (ARAF)

Bravo Centre - Located in the Northern Mountains, 250km West of Domus, Aequatius Prime. Its primary function includes both Mountain and Subarctic Combat Environments. Its permanent training unit is the Aequatian Republic Joint Military Force's 22nd Training Brigade.

Sister Facilities: Fort Stern (ARA), Craft Air Force Base (ARAF)

Charlie Centre - Located in the Jade Woodlands, which are 100km West of Espandor, Aequatius Secundus. Its primary function includes Jungle Warfare, Counter-Guerilla and Amphibious Assault Operations. Its permanent training unit is the Aequatian Republic Joint Military Force's 23rd Training Brigade.

Sister Facilities: Fort Davis (ARA), Fort Fowler (ARMC), Stevens Air Force Base (ARAF)

Delta Centre - Located in the middle of the island of Neo Aequatius, 300km West of Desedna, Neo Aequatius. The largest land forces site, its functions allows for the full mobilization of division-sized elements for simulated maneuver operations with the incorporation of air units. Airborne operations are also included, airlift assests allow for the full deployment of brigade-sized elements under realistic combat missions. Its permanent training units include the Aequatian Republic Army 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th Training Brigades and the Aequatian Republic Air Force 14th Training Force.

The Republic of Orezia would like to make its interest in participating in the INCTF known. We are not yet certain as to which forces to send since we're still organizing our military, but we are still interested in participating.

Bakey is very interested in INCTF and asks if she would be permited to send various forces to join in training.

Both the nations of Orezia and Bakey are welcome to participate in training activities once the final organization of the facilities is complete.

Of course Cravan is interested in participating in these training exercises. We'd love to send some forces over to train.

We welcome the nation of Cravan and its military to participate in exercises at our facilities. As the training centres are now open, we welcome all nations to send forces to Aequatio in order to begin exercises.

Do you happen to have orders of battle for these forces, so that I could organize an exercise?

The division comprises three infantry regiments, one mechanised regiment, one elite battalion, one AA battalion, one artillery battalion, one recon battalion, one engineering battalion, one medical company, and one MP company, plus logistical units.

A regiment comprises a scout/sniper company, a special weapons company, and three battalions, each with three infantry and one weapons company. The mechanised regiment is the same, but with motorised recon instead of snipers, and each battalion comprises three regular and one specialist company, the specialists being: Elite: mechanised, AA: mobile radar, Artillery: missile launchers, Recon: commandoes, and Engineers: bridging.

As the dictator of Cena465, I feel it to be best that I send my men to you to train.

My desired training exercise is an all out battle with no objective beyond routing the foe, and with an emphasis on tactical objectives to be siezed.

We will be expecting the arrival of Nova Boozian forces at Ericsson Air Force Base outside Desedna, Neo Aequatius. Once they arrive, the training area will be prepared for the exercise.

(Once your forces are here, I'll make a new thread for te exercise so that it can be played out.)

The Hallget, one of Boozia's twin super-carriers, and a small merchant flottila approached Aequation shores, while the commanding officer, General-Oberst Jalfainer, briefed his men from the carrier's deck.

"As you are all fully aware (you better be), this is just Kriegspiel. But real kriegspiel, not all that cissy no AFV, no bridging vehicles, no using the strategy your entire army is based on crap. So slam in the plastic bullets and pretend you're fighting Carlusites (OOC: Now gone nation who Boozia hated with a passion). Officers, you are cleared to call for air support at will, I've got some guys priotizing all the requests and they'll tell you you're place in line. Additionally, you may treat "casualties" of up to 75% as reasonable depending on the circumstances, and you are authorized to employ maximum military bastardliness under fire!"

That got a cheer. "Maximum military bastardliness" was the keystone of any small unit operation, and so many wargame rules limited its use to almost nothing. This was going to be a real fight, for enlisted and officers alike.

OOC: The training centre is far in-land, it may be better to use the aircraft from the airbase your forces will be provided.

Cravan will be sending forces to the Alpha Centre for FIBUA exercises. We are only sending a small force since we'd like to concentrate on small combined arms ops. Armored forces will be minimal. The following will be present:

IC: The fleet halted at the coast and requested permission to deploy soldiers. Boozia only provided any air transport for its actual airborne troops, whos equipment was wholly differant from the regulars, so the troops would have to slog it on foot.
