== International waters off Mental Land territory ==

The Captain eyed the reply from the ML commander with contempt. He had been forwarded the official telegram from the ML goverment as well and he had both pieces of paper in his hand as he decided on a course of action.

He nodded to the radio operator to take a message but in the mean time he walked over to the loudspeaker. He addressed all of the Taskforce in a clear voice: "This is Captain Sobek to all ships. Prepare your assault troops and check all weapons systems. Be at full readiness in 5 minutes, full alert. Sobek out."

He instructed the Flight crews to ready their aircraft and returned to the radio operator.

"To ML commander: We will not withdraw unless with our proper payment but will obey your Sovereign laws and remain in Neutral Waters. Meanwhile any attempt to force us to leave will result in similar retributions. Out."

He switched off the set.

"Navigator, remain on our present course but stay out of ML waters for the time being. FO, inform all assault troops to remain ready to move out and the flight deck to speed up preparations. We don't want to be caught out with no air cover."

The emperor sat down at the head of the table in the situation room and rested his head on his hand. Unsure of his next move he took a few moments to think.

"They won't leave unless we give them what they want. But we don't have enough to keep them happy." He sighed and looked up to Brovloskie. "Tell me Harold. When did they become our masters." pointing to the overhead screen displaying the real-time radar image of the PW fleet.

A phone was slammed down and one of the many uniformed men spoke up. The emperor knew nor cared what there names were or what they did, just as long as they did it.

“Sir we have the Supremacy and Harbinger carrier group ready to go. As for air power 3 wings of tornado’s loaded out for ASuW combat.”

“Excellent. Send them all and arrange some fighter cover to deal with there carrier wings. Also bring the country to defence alert stations.”

The last command was only supposed to issued when Mental lands was in extreme danger. Even though the danger wasn’t “extreme” it was always better to be prepared. For all anyone knew this could be the vanguard to an invasion. Everyone would carry out his orders without question anyway. Getting up he walked back to the sergeant at the computer hoping to send his reply to PW.

“Send this to the fleet on our boarders.

“To Psychopathic Warmonger command, Captain Sobeck.

Once again we will send your goods when we are ready. We suggest you withdraw as we will refuse to send anything with your ships in such proximity of our waters. As I am sure you will soon be made aware. Our country is preparing is defences for any course of action you will take. We suggest that you withdraw or we shall gladly withdraw your ships from active duty."

== International waters off Mental Land territory ==

Captain Sobek nodded at the ML response. It was a typical one and one that he wasn't surprised at. The junior officers peered at him gingerly, the sweat glistening off their inexperienced brows, as they awaited his next crucial orders. He wasn't sure whether to call the ML bluff or avoid the inevitable destruction that would follow a confrontation here.

A report came in and was passed to him by a bridge officer.

"Sir, Imperial intelligence informs me that the Mental Lands carrier groups are preparing a strike and defences all over the country are bring readied. Also intel has located the uranium ore tankers and the IT component factories. Production seems to have ceased."

Sobek scratched his chin. So Mental Lands was grinding to a halt under strike action. How feeble, it would never happen in PW. He ordered the withdrawal of the combat group into Neutral waters but gave the green light to General Busse's assault fleet.

A telegram was sent to ML:

"PW fleet will withdraw to neutral waters. Any violence will be met with the same and will be seen as an act of war."
