General Out of Character Notes:

I Am Finished With All My Write Ups, Thus You May Now Post. Please Read Below For Posting Rules

This is a newer, more refined military order of battle than my previous one. The previous one had gotten messy as I beefed up my military, and with the creation of this new ORBAT thread I plan to fix the afore mentioned problem AND give general information about the branches of military of I have. Generally I ask that you do not outright criticize me without any reason. Therefore, if you have unbiased, thoughtful opinions feel free to post it; if not, I ask that you go on with whatever it is you do and leave your garbage elsewhere. I might add more to the general OOC post as time goes on, so if you do end up RP’ing with me check back for updates. Thank you for understanding.

HailandKill Infantry Forces (HKIF):

The HailandKill infantry forces is the basic and most important part of the overall Killian armed forces. The HailandKill infantry forces is a branch that consists of males ages eighteen to thirty-five. The Killian infantry forces are an all volunteer force that is ever-ready to wage war on foreign soil or defend their homeland. Men in this branch are required to pass through a basic training course which teaches them teamwork, weapon skills, first aide, and any other important battlefield techniques they may need to utilize. Certain men who demonstrate outstanding leadership and competence are selected for either officer training. Officer training goes more in depth on weapons, skills, and leadership tactics, and is more rigorous than basic training. All men who are selected for officer’s training either become commissioned or non-commissioned officers in the HailandKill infantry forces. Many of these commissioned and non-commissioned officers are the backbone of leadership, often making the most crucial decisions in combat making them overall very important. Although commissioned and non-commissioned officers are important, they would not be able to function with the basic foot soldiers that fill the ranks of the HKIF. All soldiers, regardless of rank, in the HailandKill Infantry Forces are armed with, but not limited to, a Hali-21 assault rifle, at least 5 grenades, ten Hali-21 30 round ammunition clips, a .40 caliber Beretta sidearm, and 4 sidearm ammunition clips. Soldiers can also be armed with grenade launchers, recoilless rifles, light machine guns, or various other weapons that may be needed.

HailandKill Paratroop Infantry (HKPI):

The HailandKill Paratroop Infantry is smaller than its counterpart, the HailandKill Infantry Forces, but is vastly more agile, and mobile. The HailandKill Paratroop Infantry serves an important role in the overall scheme of the Killian armed forces, often being the first branch of the overall armed forces into combat. The age limits are the same as the HailandKill Infantry Forces but this branch of service is more selective of its members, having tough physical and mental standards for recruits to attain. The HailandKill Paratroop infantry is also an all volunteer branch of service. Training for the HailandKill Paratroop Infantry is tougher and more demanding than that of the HailandKill Infantry Forces, and many of the recruits often drop out before graduation. Men in the HailandKill Paratroop infantry are trained in weapons, teamwork, close combat fighting, stealth tactics, sabotage, airborne parachuting, and any other task they may have to utilize in combat. Officers in the HailandKill Paratroop Infantry are often picked out from the top of a graduating class. The men selected must then pass another training to gain any rank. Because of the nature of their missions not every candidate comes out commissioned or non-commissioned. The normal nature of the HailandKill Paratroop Infantry can change at a moment’s notice. Under normal circumstance the HailandKill Paratroop Infantry is used as a first strike unit, often given mission objectives that take place before an invasion. The HailandKill Paratroop Infantry can be deployed via land or sea like its counterpart, the HailandKill Infantry Forces. Overall the HailandKill Paratroop infantry is more flexible, and better trained than the regular infantry, utilizing more tactics, skills, and weapons. Men in the HailandKill Paratroop Infantry are normally armed with Hali-42 assault rifles, any number of grenades (depending on the nature of their mission), a DAK-91 submachine gun attached at the leg, and various amounts of ammunition for their weapons (again depending on the nature of the mission).

HailandKill Mechanized Infantry (HKMI):

The HailandKill Mechanized Infantry is a large sized, highly mobile, highly mechanical, well trained, deadly infantry. This branch of service is relatively important, as it backs up the HailandKill Infantry Forces with large tank support, and superior men. The HailandKill Mechanized Infantry is open to males between the ages of eighteen to thirty-five, but because the HKMI is the best of the best not everyone is qualified. The HailandKill Mechanized Infantry is the best branch of the overall Killian military in terms of training, weapons, and men. To make the HailandKill Mechanized Infantry an elite unit, men who apply to its training camps are screened to make sure they can handle physical, mental, and psychological rigors that come with the job. If a man does pass the three tests and screenings he still has to endure HKMI basic training. Basic training is only the first step, as it weeds out the weaker men. Basic training is just a harder version of HailandKill Paratroop Infantry basic training. The men who make it through the HKMI basic training are promoted to the real training for the HKMI. It is often referred to the "soul sucker" because many of the men who go into finalization training come out slightly different than when they entered. Finalization training teaches the men everything they need to know about their weapons, including how to use them more lethally. Men in finalization training are also taught the highest degree of teamwork, and usually divisions come out of finalization training as if they were brothers. Men are also trained in the highest degree of tactics, and explosive techniques. Another rigor all men in finalization training need to face is psychological training. Psychological training basically makes the men immune to psychological warfare. It is in this phase of training that many men either quit, break down, or change in someway; but this training mentally strengthens men and makes them almost immune to everything but bullets and shrapnel. In finalization training, the smarter, less physical men are selected to be tankers. Tanker training teaches men how to operate tanks. This includes, but is not limited, the use of fire control systems, driving and loading systems, machinegun systems, and basic repair; all tankers must have a basic understanding of physics. Also plucked from finalization training are the most adept recruits, who demonstrate the best leadership ability. These men attend HKIF officer training school on top of finalization training. The men often combine both the infantry officers' school and finalization training to form their own brilliant plans. Everyman who successfully passes both trainings is given some form of rank. All the foot soldiers of the HKMI are equipped with the Samson BDU-64 battle suit, a Hali-42 assault rifle, assorted grenades and charges, a personal choice of sidearm and sidearm ammo.

[Doctrine of battle usually calls for the separation of the "assault" part of the Mechanized Infantry, and the "support" section. This usually means that artillery pieces are in the rear of an attack, while most of the other parts of the division are on the front attacking and pushing forward.]

HailandKill Kriegsmarine (HKKM) and HailandKill Luftwaffe (HKLW):

The HailandKill Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffe were combined into the same branch of military in the late year of 2016. This decision was decided upon by the joint chief's of staff in the HailandKill military cabinet. This decision came about due to the large amounts of fighters and multi-role aircraft that were contained in the Kriegsmarine. With no official air force, the joint chiefs had found an ultimate reason to create one. The overall airforce is carrier based and thus is significantly related to the navy. Both branches work very closely together, and it is very rare to have the air fleets taken off the carriers to be land based. With the advent of the new HKLW came the advent of a new training system; one that would be more demanding and one with tougher standards. On the topic of the HailandKill Luftwaffe, it is another all volunteer force. Men can enlist at anytime and expect to be put in the new training facilities built ASAP. Luftwaffe training is simulation intensive, and many men spend up to sixteen hours in the state of the art simulation centers learning flying tactics, and also dogfighting tactics. Men in the simulators also learn teamwork amongst their squadrons as a primary focus. The men also learn how to deal with elements as they fly and dogfight. Throughout the simulation training men also learn their combat, countermeasure, and propulsion systems, and the recruits must pass a knowledge intensive test to earn their wings. Officers are chosen from the recruits, and often they are the best and brightest. Officers take a small course which teaches them aeronautical combat and bombing strategies. Also involved in the Luftwaffe training is a jump school, where pilots have to practice jumping out of airplanes to simulate an ejection. Many pilots carry various sidearms in case they are shot down over hostile territory. The overall airforce is carrier based and thus

The HailandKill Kriegsmarine underwent a major refit after the Killian loss/tie at the naval battle of Targul Frumos in The War of Golden Succession. The Kriegsmarine doctrine of battle also had changed after this loss and the nature of the refit was formulated to this new battle doctrine. The Killian Kriegsmarine isn’t nearly as large as other countries navies, but that is because of the large infantry that HailandKill uses. The ships that the Kriegsmarine uses, however, are top notch and make up for any size difference a fleet may encounter. The Kriegsmarine, like all the other branches, is an all volunteer branch. The ages of enlistment are from eighteen to forty, depending on the person's civilian job. Since there are so many tasks in the Kriegsmarine to perform, training is broken down into the section that you would be put in. The major training sections for the Kriegsmarine include: Missile fire control, battery fire control, bridge command, countermeasure control, and lastly overall ship and engine mechanics. When a person enlists, they choose the area they want to work in, and the Kriegsmarine does its best to accommodate their choices. Missile fire control recruits learn to operate their designated systems, and are trained on utilizing speed. The recruits must pass a time test in a simulation to successfully be put on a ship. Battery fire control recruits are also trained to punch in data, much like the missile fire control recruits. Because battery control is more date intensive, recruits learn to deal with firing angles, trajectory, the nature of rounds themselves, and elemental factors. These trainees must too pass a time test to be entered on a ship. Bridge command training is comparable to the HailandKill Infantry Forces officer training. To be entered in the bridge command training a recruit must pass a knowledge intensive test. If they pass they are admitted to the hardest training sect of the Kriegsmarine. This sect of training teaches the applicants doctrines of naval warfare and applying them to any situation. Many recruits fail out of this course, leaving only the best and brightest. The survivors of this mentally intensive course are given rank on how they score in a final test simulator. This simulator pits them as an admiral in a generic battle. The person makes verbal commands, and the commands and consequences are scored. The Kreigsmarine mechanic training is also a tough training. There are two separate sects for mechanical training, electrical engineering and engine mechanics. Both parts of the mechanical training are knowledge intensive, and many of the recruits have had some sort of experience as a civilian. All branches of training make the men ready for their assigned duties in the Kriegsmarine.

Side note: A fleet is comprised of rings of ships, starting with the small to the large. The first ring is comprised of light, and regular cruisers. The second ring contains the heavy cruisers, while the third ring contains destroyers. A fourth ring of ships is comprised of battleships. The core of a fleet is the dreadnoughts, galleons, and aircraft carriers. Below the ships are organized into their rings by reverse order; meaning the list is from the core, to the outermost rings. As always, the farther you go from the core, the more ships their are in each ring. Submarines usually operate between the cruiser and heavy cruiser ring, except they are underwater. This can change at anytime due to the nature of a battle. I hope this clarifies things, and most of the time my fleets conduct battle in this formation.

HailandKill Fast Attack Fleets (HKFaF)

The HailandKill Fast Attack Fleets are a sub-branch of the HailandKill Kriegsmarine designed for "hit and run" naval combat. The Fast Attack Fleets are smaller than their Kriegsmarine counterparts, ensuring a faster, more surprising attack. Ships in the Fast Attack Fleets are mostly Macabee made battle cruisers, specially designed for raiding and quick surprise attacks. The battle cruisers of the Fast Attack Fleets are to be taken seriously, as speed and tactics can overcome larger numbers. HailandKill Fast Attack Fleets have a certain doctrine that commanders adhere to. This doctrine is a "hit and run" style basis, which instructs the fleets to attack, move, and so on and so forth. The doctrine that the Fast Attack Fleets follows is what made the creation of the Fast Attack Fleets. The Fast Attack Fleets follow its name, and training for this branch is pretty much exact to the regular Kriegsmarine. Sailors learn to do their assigned post with the utmost of speed and efficiency. Units on a single ship learn to work together under any given situation. The HailandKill Fast Attack Fleets mainly are used for sneak attacks, and raids on enemy shipping. Whatever the speedy situation calls for, the Fast Attack Fleets are ever-ready.

HailandKill Special Forces (HKSF):

The HailandKill Special Forces by nature is an elite, superiorly trained, and secretive unit. The HailandKill Special Forces is not a volunteer branch of service like its counterparts; men must be selected to tryout for the ranks of the HKSF. Making the HKSF is an honor in every respect because each man selected to try out must be intelligent, physically rugged, and mentally stable under any condition. In general the most amounts of men selected to tryout come from the HailandKill Paratroop or Mechanized Infantries; it is very rare that a man is selected from the HailandKill Infantry Forces. However rare it may be, it still can happen as long as the soldier demonstrates outstanding overall qualities. Overall the HailandKill Special Forces is a very small unit. The exact number of men in the HailandKill Special Forces cannot be specified, but it does comprise over a hundred members. The members selected to tryout must first pass a series of screening tests to determine if they can handle the psychological, physical, and mental affects that come from the job. Exact tests can be guaranteed to be brutal on the psyche of the recruits, but exact tests again cannot be specified due to the top secret nature of the branch of service. HailandKill Special Forces Training cannot be specified either, because it too has a very top secret nature. It can be said, however, that training is weapons and tactics specific. Men must learn to be quick on their feet, and be extremely lethal with their weapons. Men also learn to be co-dependent on each other as well as independent of each other, should disaster occur. Men are also highly trained in the art of sabotage and stealth, on top of their other trainings. The weapons given to the HailandKill Special Forces are guaranteed to be top notch, and can change with the given assignment. Men are specifically chosen for their talents depending on the given mission. Many of the HailandKill Special Forces teams work off of various class submarines, ready to go at a moments notice. To sum up the HailandKill Special Forces: if you see them you won't be alive for long.

(Exact numbers of units and men will remain undisclosed. The exact weapons they employ will too be undisclosed. Both are undisclosed due to the absolute secretiveness of this branch.)

HailandKill Mobile Artillery Divisions (HKMAD):

The HailandKill Mobile Artillery Divisions were created after the Killian armed forces witnessed the importance of artillery during "The War of Golden Succesion". There were multiple artillery battles that pitted SafeHaven against The Golden Throne in brutal slug fests that would determine whether the attacker or defender got the advantage. Whoever won was irrevelevant as the Killian forces realized the importance of artillery in any combat situation. Men are selected for the Mobile Artillery Divisions based on their knowledge of combat systems and basic physics. Anyone person can take the test for the Mobile Artillery Division but they must past the test, which is combat situation and physics intensive to gain admittance to the Mobile Artillery Division. When a recruit is accepted into the Mobile Artillery Division he then enters training. Alot of Mobile Artillery Division recruits are drop-outs from the Mechanized Infantry, meaning that they are well experienced in combat systems but they were not cut out for direct combat. HKMAD, despite where ever recruits come from, is a well trained organization. Training involves alot of combat simulation in the Killian MAD centers. MAD centers are mostly conjoined with the Mechanized Infantry centers meaning that the Mobile Artillery Divisions are as well trained as the Mechanized Infantry when it comes to accurate killing. Men are assigned to a vehicle in training, meaning the vehicle they operate in training is the vehicle they use in combat. During training men become one with their vehicle, learning every quirk of the vehicle. Most of the time the HKMAD works with a regular infantry army to provide the combat soldiers with heavy firepower that they lack. The HailandKill Mobile Infantry Divisions will rain down hell on whoever they meet on the battlefield in the coming years, in conjunction with the regular infantry.

Standard Soldier Equipment Layout:
This section lists what an armed soldier usually goes into combat equiped with. It is not a definite thing, and weapons can be changed depending on the situation. Thus this is only a guideline and the few times soldiers do not have this layout, it will be mentioned in the post where it is relevant.

Hailandkill, your divisions contain the combat personal (referring to infantry) of 3 standard light-infantry divisions, and seem to be mixed up between being mechanized and standard light. What do you see the purpose of your light infantry divisions as? Usually they are considered to be footmobile and only last 2-3 days before linking up with friendly forces.

My only qualm is that your paradrop and mechanized divisions are really just brigades.

[OOC: I think that you need to work on the littoral combat operations section, HailandKill, as I don't see any corvettes or the like for littoral combat. After all, a superdreadnaught would be useless in littoral/brown water (but from a good distance, it could provide coastal bombardment support, but a lighter capital warship like the Kriegzimmer-designed-and-produced Elusive-class could easily do the trick as well), and the key to success lies in the tiny little armed speedboats, the corvettes and the marines, to name a few.]

OOC: This looks pretty awesome, would you mind if i used this as a basis for my military? I'll be looking at my needs also of course, but i like kriegzimmer too :)
