For those of you who don't know, the Chuunin Exams are the trials that shinobi must take in order to be promoted from low-ranking Genin to a position of leadership with their teams ie, Chuunin. They also gain the privilege of executing C to A-ranked missions. The hosting nation (in this case, Konoha) sets three major tests:

1. Intelligence Gathering.

2. Survival.

3. Tournament.

Self-explanatory, I hope. In any case, Coreworlds is going to host the Exams on the planet of Konoha and with Suna's help, ensure that the Exams are safe for spectators. So...here are the nations that may participate:

Konohagekure (Hidden Leaf): Coreworlds

Sunagakure (Hidden Sand): Draconis Nightcrawlis

Kumogakure (Hidden Cloud): [NS]Wooshaba

Iwagakure (Hidden Rock):

Kirigakure (Hidden Mist): Theao

These are the Five Great Shinobi Nations.

Otogakure (Hidden Sound): Ravea

Lesser nations are Grass, Rain, Waterfall, Sound and Snow.

Rules for characters:
They must be a team of three Genin (apprentices) and one Jounin (Master) to sponsor that team. They cannot be canon Naruto characters (because only DN and I will be able to use them.). A character can have a special bloodline technique, but either DN or I must approve them. There can be NPC teams, but they must not be as important as 'flagship' teams.

All right, here's mine.

Name: Travis Masaki

Age: 12

Rank: Genin

Affilation: Konoha

Attributes: Dark Blue hair, brown eyes. Short, medium build. Wears camo cargo pants and white T-shirt with a dark red jacket with rolled-up sleeves over the shirt. He also wears goggles and black fingerless gloves. His Leaf headband protector is on his belt.

Powers and weapons: The youngest in-training member of the Masaki Clan, he has just begun his training last year but is already a skilled young Jedi Shinobi. In a recent major mission (The Worldjumper Saga (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=450889)), he has gained several elemental abilities, but has yet to master them all. His lightsaber is golden, a color also gained from his recent mission. He also carries standard shinobi weapons, like shuriken and kunai, as well as other items. His father Daniel recently taught him to teleport and throw lightning, although the boy has much to learn.

Name: Kagome Outerbridge

Age: 12

Rank: Genin

Affilation: Konoha

Attributes: Brown hair, blue eyes, well-built for a girl. Wears khaki cargoes, a pink shirt and gloves for her staff.

Powers and weapons: Kagome prefers the way of the staff when dealing with enemies. She wields a phrik-alloy staff along with her usual shinobi weapons. A kunoichi, she's good with illusionary powers, but isn't above throwing fireballs or iceballs in the bargain. She can also channel energy through her weapons for added damage. It is rumored that Travis and Kagome are an item, but they'll deny it every time.

Name: Nicholas Kingfisher

Age: 12

Rank: Genin

Affilation: Konoha

Attributes: Sand-blond hair, blue eyes, taller than Travis. Wears a cloak over a green long-sleeve shirt, as well as dark cargoes. Like Travis, he wears goggles and fingerless gloves.

Powers and weapons: He has an affinity for being a sharpshooter. As such, he carries a high-powered blaster rifle on his back and two DL-50 pistols on his belt. He does carry a lightsaber, but doesn't use it much. He relies on support techniques to get into a position from where he can shoot enemies.

Their Jounin Sensei is Uzumaki Naruto.

Ands damn, I'm in too many RP's already to take part in this one. Which is a great shame! It would be fun to have some Naruto-stuff to follow now when I'm not watching it anymore due the filler shit they're currently making.

Anyway, a shinobi is basically a ninja that has the ability to use an energy source called chakra to produce techniques. A genin is an apprentice ninja and yes, it's based heavily off the Naruto series. Knowledge of Naruto is a plus. www.leafninja.com or www.narutofan.com are good sites to use when looking for techniques, or you can make 'em up.

What the hell is this all about? DN and I have been planning this for a while. It's also an important story arc for Coreworlds.

I know what this is about, I just tried to tell you that this thread may appear to those who haven't heard about Naruto before as somewhat confusing. Then again, participators will most likely be already common with it, so complete explanation of the world may be irrelevant for you. Anyways, good luck with this highly potent RP idea!

Yeah. This is Naruto in a Star Wars setting after all. Just make sure you have the standard as backup as well.

It's a good idea to create your own as the show doesn't have many techniques other than Konoha, Suna, and a few others. Just TG me or DN the techniques and we'll approve or disapprove them.

Abilities: Can partially counter Genjutsu as well as blocking the hypnosis part of the Sharingun. Grants a 180 degree field of vision in the eye it's active in. Grants perfect vision, regardless of lighting/visibility condition in active eye. Can switch eyes(but not fast enought to make it work as a 360 field of vision.

Attributes: Tall and has a lithe build. Hooded black eyes. He has curly, medium-length, white hair, and His outfit includes a face-concealing collar. He uses an innovative form of martial arts that emphasizes using the environment to one's advantage.

Signature Jutsu: Sound Sphere (Creates a sphere of sound around an enemy that cannot be broken as long as Ayumi can be undisturbed and stay concentrated. Anyone in the sphere suffers severe acoustic damage that can cause extreme confusion, deafness, and loss of balance. Anyone in the sphere long enough will eventually be ripped apart.)

Ayumi is an extremely skilled Genjutsu user, a very good Ninjutsu user, but an awful Taijutsu user.

Weapons:Traditional Oto weaponry(Sound gauntlets, standard shinobi tools), preferred weapon is modified blades on his gauntlets.

Name:Noyo Takehashi

Age: 12

Rank: Genin

Affilation: Oto

Attributes: Short, has rust-colored eyes, and silver hair. His simple outfit is usually red. He uses an innovative form of martial arts that emphasizes duplicating the moves of one's opponent and using flips.

Signature Jutsu: Kyomeisen (Vibrating Sound Drill-An attack that involves the use of his Sound gauntlets, a device used to amplify and control the sound waves emitted from it to attack his opponent's sense of hearing. By damaging the victim's inner ear, the victim is rendered off-balance and nauseous.)

Weapons: Traditional Oto weaponry(Sound gauntlets, standard shinobi tools), preferred weapon is a long two-handed sword.

Noyo is a balanced Genjutsu, Ninjutsu, and Taijutsu user.

Name:Sen Suzu (Team Leader)

Age: 14

Rank: Genin

Affilation: Oto

Attributes:Very tall, wears black goggles over his eyes, long black hair. uses an acrobatic form of martial arts that emphasizes blows to vital organs. Specilized in unseen attacks and assassination. Body is bandaged.

Signature Jutsu: Zankukyokuha (Extreme Decapitating Air Waves-A jutsu which allows the user to freely control supersonic sound waves and air pressure with a device implanted into one or both of their arms. The blasts are powerful enough to destroy stone.)

Sen is an expert Taijutsu user, a decent Ninjutsu user, but a bad Genjutsu user.

Weapons: Traditional Oto weaponry(Sound gauntlets, standard shinobi tools), preferred weapon is a deadly garotte wire that can be manipulated with Sen's Chakra.

General Jutsus-These are powers all members of the team know.
-Kaze no Yaiba (Blade of Sound-This Jutsu creates a blade out of Sound which, being Sound, makes it impossible to block. This Jutsu requires no tools.)

Zankūha (Decapitating Air Wave)-A weaker version of Sen's Zankukyokuha.

Utsusemi no Jutsu (Projection Technique)-In order to hide their position, the user projects their voice from all possible directions with this jutsu. Used to confuse the enemy.

Shushagan no Jutsu (Vanishing Facial Copy Technique)-This jutsu allows the user to copy the face of another person, effectively impersonating the said person.

Shuriken Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique)-Similar to Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Shadow Doppelganger), the user throws one shuriken at the victim and then uses this jutsu to create multiple copies of the shuriken to make the attack more powerful.

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Doppelganger Technique)-Unlike the normal Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Doppelganger), this jutsu creates not just an illusion, but real bodies of the ninja. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among the user and every clone.

Kage Bunshin is one of Ayumi's favorite Jutsus.

Futon: Daitoppa (Wind Release: Great Breakthrough)-Involving all three Genin working together, The users sends out a powerful explosion of wind, which can easily level almost an entire area. It is known that a variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame, making it stronger and more damaging to the given target.

Hiru Bansho: Boka no Jutsu (Leech All Creation: Attack Prevention Technique)-The user merges with or within a solid nearby object, taking on its properties, and avoiding any damage.

Kanashibari no Jutsu (Temporary Paralysis Technique)-This technique is used to cause one's opponent to lose the advantage of movement for a few moments. Freezing them in their tracks, this creates an opening for a more dangerous attack.

Their Jounin Sensei is Furu Sanada.

Attributes: Blond hair, blue eyes with blue fur. Short with a slim but highly agile build. Wears black shorts and a red and white striped t-shirt, usually wears a black tunic over it, sometimes he wears a dark blue top instead. His Suna headband protector is worn on his forehead.

Powers and Weapons: Carries a gourd on his back containing sand which he can wield to attack enemies and defend himself. He also carries an arsenal of kunai and shuriken as well as other ninja items. He is able to teleport and his team mates reckon Eamonn is secretly teaching him to use chakra swords. His tail can also be used.

Attributes: Black hair, green eyes. Wears a tight fitting ninja-like dress, with visible fishnets on her arms and legs, that’s practical and allows for fast movement. Her Suna headband is around her right arm.

Powers and Weapons: Carries an oversized fan on her back, which can be used to block or summon weapons.

Name: Katsuo

Age: 11

Rank: Genin

Affiliation: Suna

Attributes: Brown hair, cat-like green eyes. Dark green cargo pants with a dark blue shirt and a black cloak. His Suna headband is also over his right arm and he puple marking on his face.

Powers and Weapons: Uses a puppet similar to his fathers puppet, Karasu, but built mostly by himself. He also has a cat with him that appears to help control the puppet. He is good with poisons and his puppet caries many poisonous needles that are fired on enemies.

Their Jounin Sensei is Eamonn Black.

Well like I expressed in the academy thread I wanted her to go to a ninja academy. After whatever happens in DN she travels to the Hidden Cloud village. Alright here is my character team.

Attributes: Honey-brown eyes and long dark hair. She is about 5'10. At the beginning of her training she wore mostly long robes because of her previous jedi training. She now wears normal female ninja garb. She is pretty old to be a genin, but she is quickly progressing. She also wears the Hidden Cloud Village band around her arm.

Powers and Weapons: Master of natural electrokinesis. Also has the ability to teleport. To help her better control her powers she join the Hidden Cloud village. She has developed a technique similar to a Shadow Clone Jutsu called Shock Clone Justu. She now carries a katana embedded with emerald stones. She is now trying to find a way to use both Chakra and the Force as one. She is still trying to create her own secret justu. First time taking the exams.


Name: Gordunt Crimson

Rank: Genin

Attributes: Dark hair and grey eyes. Wears traditional shinobi garb. He wears a Hidden Cloud Headband.

Powers and Weapons:. The fastest member of his group. Known for using more taijustu than jujustu. His justu is the Power Shock Jutsu. He carries the Crimson Lightning Blade, a sword that has been in his clan for centuries. He has taken the chuunin exams before.



Name: Shaoel Carter

Age: 22

Rank: Genin

Attributes: Really muscular guy. Surprisingly quick. Meant Lialai in the academy. He and Gordunt are rivals. He has a short haircut and has dark skin. He also wears a Hidden Cloud Headband.

Powers and Weapons: He is the best at harnessing his chakra. He can move at high speeds. If he gets angry enough his chakra can become visible. His special jutsu is Zap Cannon Justu. He carries a broadsword.

All of them are jedi knights, but because they began their ninja training their master took their lightsabers. They will be returned at the beginning of the tests. He has taken the chuunin exams before.

If you've read the IC, the team from the Hidden Rock villiage is already dead/death-marked.

Would it be alright to send a couple of observers from my Council, just to see something that 'isn't' done in the Ascendancy Sphere? Despite many oriental themes done in my empire, ninjitsu and such stuff isn't one of the themes done in my realm.

Kind would be curious at least to see what it is like. I'd probably send Ladies Funaho and Misaki as my representatives, at the very least. No more than three, not sure who the third would be.

Sure. It starts a month after the Second Task. That's so all sorts of people can start arriving and the ninjas can prepare to their very best, even learn a new technique or two to one-up an opponent.

CW, are you allowing Sasuke and Sakura the ability to summon snakes and slugs. I know that Naruto can summon toads. I was wondering because I would like to add an ability to tell you guys that my Jounin character summons birds. The king of the birds is Thorondor. If you want me to narrow the summoning type down I can.

Also I have another question. I was wondering if you guys minded if I changed the name of my Jounin character. I decided that Jirair Wescolum shouldn't be a ninja. If you guys say it is okay I will go back and change all of my posts that involve Jirair's name to the new name I have chosen. Also if you guys want a list of description of the Jounin character let me know. Jirair sounds to much like Jiraiya. I don't want anyone to become confused.

Not always true. Taikou is female and Keith is a boy. It does seem like summoning tend to be gender-specific, though.

No and yes.

If you listened carefully, you'll note that you just need to get to the tower at the center of the Jungle. It will take a while to get there, though, because it is miles of jungle and plains and stuff full off dinosaurs and other menacing creatures. To survive, you must live off the land, heh.

Oh.... There's a special force power which allows either a sith or jedi to communicate with beasts. Either make them stand down, fight for you (follow you), or to make them kill themselfs. Very usefull in this senario.

If I remember right(based on the show), the scrolls summon the person(just like scrolls can summon animals/weapons/ect), then if it's done outside the tower, the students get knocked out by the superior ninja who then disappears.

Second, in relation to the kunai and hand signs, as long as gaps between the fingers remain tight, it is possible to hold something there while a hand seal is done, provided of course it isn't thick(which from observations a Kunai's handle/ring aren't. I know I can hold up to eight knives(large bread type knives between my fingers and still retain decent manual dexterity)

Try creating a complex hand seal while holding those breadknives, you can't. Move your hands and they'll get in the way and you'll even drop them.

Even when using basic hand seals you'll only see them holding one, pressed between the palms of their hands.

In Naruto, the only entity with red chakra, ever, is Kyuubi. All others usually have blue (at least in the anime). Gordunt is breaking that rule. Another rule broken: You should have told us about Gordunt's bloodline from the beginning. As it is, I'm about to stop the fight and give the win to Katsuo for cheating.

Sorry about not going into detail with that. The red chakra is something that the Crimson family has. It is somewhat similar to Hatake Kakashi's white chakra but with a little bit more shock to it. It is what the Crimson family is known for. I didn't think that would be considered a Kekkai Genkai.

The Raikyuu is a totally different technique from Rasengan. It is a lot different. Raikyuu uses chakra to force electricity into ball lightning which is then used as an attack.

Actually, Daniel uses the same technique, so yeah, Travis isn't blowing smoke.

However, the essence of the technique is not actually all that different from Rasengan. That uses wind. This one uses lightning. I'll allow it, but the red chakra will have to go.

How do you figure that Futon: Daitoppa wouldn't cut the strings? It is a wind blade created by an intense concentration of chakra. I don't see why it wouldn't cut the strings. Also I have another question. How can the Uzumaki and Masoki clans clame to be the only clans who signature moves are shaped into spheres? Nobody is positive who the 4th Hokage's clan was but he is the one who started the Rasengan. Also so that there won't be any further confrontation later on when my characters use Raikyuu attacks I am going to let you know that there are a lot of different versions of the Raikyuu they might use. Barak Kendalis uses a technique call Oodama Raikyuu. It is a lot similar to the Oodama Rasengan. It is one of Barak's signature moves. Also everyone on Team Barak can use the regular Raikyuu. Gordunt Crimson is the only one who can use the Crimson Raikyuu at this time.

Okay. I have made one last edit. I know for sure that by combining the Force and chakra into a new unique energy could break the strings. Gordunt channeled the energy through the Crimson Hybrid Sword (Combination of Lightsaber and Crimson Lightning Blade) and he used it to slice through the strings. It would go against the Jedi Code. Believe me it is fine that he forfeits. He follows the code whole-heartedly. Had it been a war or something of that caliber he would have used it, but this is just a preliminary match so he decided to step down. He will try again next time.

I'd like to put up a bit of a challenge to the Sharingun and the mist:
Namely Kakashi could not utilize it to see Zabuza(when he used it in the Water Country Arc) and had to utilize smell(his summoned dogs) to track him down.

It is also implied(thought not actually stated) that blocking/covering/obscuring the vision of the Sharingun nullifies it's ability.

Hmm. I could say that Kakashi's not a full-blooded Uchiha though. Remember that his is implanted from Obito. Uchihas will be more naturally able to use it than he does. While I agree that the Sharingan isn't infalliable when it comes to being blocked, a mist like this one isn't going to stop Reika.

That makes sense, to a limited extent, I must still disagree.
For one, Kakashi's eye is a full three tomoe and still can not pass throught the mist, whilst hers is a single. It would make sense that even without Uchiha blood, the signifigant advancement of the Sharigun would make up for any limits imposed by the lack of Uchiha blood.

It also mentions(In Leafninja.com) that it takes two tomoe to see throught Genjutsu, while Reiko only has the one.

I was not intentionally nitpicking. I was trying to clarify the differences between my views of the scene, and Coreworlds' interpretation of the same scene.

Also I've only seen Sasuke do a few fire jutsu at a time before running out of chakra.

Ysalamor are half foot long creatures in the Star Wars universe that neutralize the force in a bubble around them. It's a defensive measure against the predators that hunt with the force of it's homeworld.

CW, here is the issue I'd like to discuss over here (as I mentioned before):

As you may or may not be aware, Darth Deshoonde has "returned" to the Huntarian Empire and has "betrayed" the Huntarian Alliance and the GFFA (to an extent).... Or so it seems.

Really while he has embraced the Dark Side once more, he still hasn't forgotten his allegience to the Alliance and to the GFFA. In sort, he is suppose to be a spy (which only his master, Jorus, knows about)

Deshoonde/Magriel is the mysterious "shadowy" figure Shamman senced in the Shuttle as Aelikes came on downward towards Khoonda(sp?). And I have an idea:

I see two possible senarios for Magriel (if you even accept the idea he's even there)

1) He aids the DS players in capturing Travis Masaki to prove his "allegience" to the empire and fully aids the DS team in destroying Khoonda so that the Empire won't suspect him as a spy.

2) He aids the DS players in catpuring Travis, however, he allows Travis to escape to his fasha and the good guy team to tell them that their is a great spy in the Huntarian Empire and possibly to DS CoreWorlds.

The Empire still doesn't suspect him as a spy since he helped in the capturing in Travis. They just won't know he was the one who actually helped Travis escape.

I'll go with the second option since, while Konoha (got it right this time damn it) will technically be lost, it won't be as bad as a blow for Daniel or Taylor.

Now I can get to that responce with Nightshade.

PS: When Deshoonde encounters Daniel (assuming that's whom the "I" character is), they should recognize eachother since they met durring the early stages of the huntarian civil war. Deshoonde will explain everything to him via force messaging.

With this technique he can also sharpen his hair and do various things.

How it works: Gathering lightning into the Bishamon, Barak spins around very quickly, forming it into the likeness into a head of a dragon. Once lightning is drawn upon his body, a spinning current occurs, affecting anyone or anything in the area, temporarily trapping them in a spiral-like vortex and causing great damage.

Taijutsu style: He uses his sword most of the time. He fights with a combination of Kenjustu and Fencing techniques. If his sword is not available he quickly converts to a dancing martial art style that is similar to a Capoeira-Judo combination.

Personality: He is easy going and laid-back unless he is in a situation when he needs to be completely serious. He is a good-natured guy. He has a lot of morals taught to him by his aunt. His aunt had once been a well-known ninja, but had been allowed to retire early because the Raikage believed that she was becoming senile. After leaving the shinobi life, she became a bird-keeper. Barak lived with her all throughout his days as an academy student, genin, and chuunin. While staying with his aunt she helped him master their clan’s kekkei genkai, "Hea Tesabaki" (The Hair Manipulation Technique). Barak was a natural with his kekkei genkai and quickly mastered it. She also taught him the "Rairyu no Tatsumaki" (Lightning Dragon Tornado Technique).

While living with his aunt he developed a deep love for birds. He loved their birdcalls and how they were able to break the laws of gravity and fly high. One day while training, three birds of different species hatched. One was a crow. Another an owl and the last was an eagle. His aunt gave them to him. She said that they would be his comrades. He was very excited about them. He named the crow, Loki (name meaning “trickster god”), the owl, Wanshitong (name meaning “he who knows 10,000 things”), and his eagle, Thorondor (name meaning “king of eagles”). He raised them himself from a young age. All three them were very intelligent and could speak. He found that each one of them had their own special abilities. Thorondor was a great warrior eagle. He is very quick and his claws are as sharp as any kunai knife. His crow, Loki, was very cunning and quick thinking. He is funny and an excellent tracker. Wanshitong was the most intelligent of them all. He always is seeking new knowledge. He helped Barak with his studies. He also is a fierce combatant who could use Barak’s kunai knives and shruiken. All three have helped Barak become the powerful Jounin his is.

When Barak became a Jounin, his aunt gave him a box. She then whispered in his ear, “A gift from your father and mother.” She then watched as he opened up the box. Inside sat the Bishamon Blade. It was his father’s blade. It was a katana made with chakra-absorbing metal. At the bottom of the blade rested a beautiful alexandrite stone. On the bottom of the hilt was his clans symbol the mongoose with the diamond in his mouth. This blade was so sharp it was able to cut diamonds his aunt told him. Underneath the blade sat a small red box full of soldier pills. His aunt said, “They were your mother’s. Do not take more than one a day.” To make sure that he isn’t tempted to take more than one pill he only carries one. Barak gave her a big hug. She smiled and a tear came from her eye.

The next day Barak’s aunt died mysteriously. Even though she was old no one expected her to die any time soon. Barak was very sad. He knew that he wouldn’t have made it this far without her. She had a small funeral with only Barak, the Raikage and a few others attending. After the funeral the Raikage asked Barak to join the ARBU. He accepted and was quickly promoted to captain. He has now left the ARBU to become a full-time jounin. He is currently a jounin-leader.

Notes: He also can summon other birds for various tasks. He knows other jutsu and will also learn more jutsu throughout his adventures.
