Currently, a tunnel system linking up nations with willing nations with land in Arterus The idea was sugggested by Kubra, and they have already proceeded to build it. Now the kinks must be worked out of the tunnel system. Safety measures must be installed, as well as countermeasures to a hostile takeover of the tunnel system.

OOC: You din't need to own land in Arterus to make a suggestion that will benefit the tunnel program.

I'm going to see if the Vampiracy and Intermania and TRC can arrange something. if we got tunnels underneath the channel, we could reinforce each other (with land units) much more rapidly.

Kubra, you're thousands of miles away, so i dont think we'll be meeting each other underground lol.

Having Co2 run thru the tunnels would extingish any fires that started.

With Kubra's permission we would like to link a tunnel from our south coast to your north coast for ease fo sending goods back and forth.I'll allow one for sending good,providing the company has a permit to use the tunnels.We will also be creating tunnels to link underground bunkers and such.Also we would be willing to link up with the GCR.

Co2 running through the tunnels would also extinguish any human life moving through them.

On the plus side, Shrak Aeronautics Corp. in assosciation wit the SHipyards at Wuller and Farthing, is willing to supply an air purification/high power ventilation pump system to prevent the extinguishment of people using the tunnels (Any tunnel is going to haveventilation problems, even the Chunnel has some pretty serious ventilation challenges, whcih is why the trains runnign through it are so high speed and electric, to prevent Co2 buildup that could asphyxiate passengers)

How much would this system cost?

Use a Gauss Railway; super fast transport speeds for passangers and goods.

Price depends on the length and diameter of the tunnel, depth of the tunnel beneath the water and expected traffic. (you need less ventilation for less taffic, or for high-speed traffic that doesn't contribute much to CO2 levels such as electric high speed trains)

Our base cost is usually around 1 million dollars per five miles of lenght, however, given the unique nature of this project, we can possibly offer prices as low as 1,000-15,000 per mile of length depending on conditions.

If Kubra allows it I want a tunnel running from the southern coast of the island to the northern coast,my estimate is that it will be around 1500 miles long.It would be used only to transport good between each other and making shipping easier.If possible I would want to run an oil pipeline through it.After that I would think about constructing a civilian one.

Given that the ventilation needs will be minimal for this tunnel, I believe that we could accomadate your ventilation needs for about five million dollars total.

That is for Electricly powered trains with a human controller and maintenance staff. At this price the ventilation system will also provide an option for upgrades over its lifetime to allow increased traffic if that becomes a problem

I accept this.After Kubra gives permission I will pay the 5 million,he does not have to pay for the system.I will have combat engineers install it when the tunnels are complete.

Excellent, we will send the equipment for installation as soon as you ask for it.
If possible though, we would like to install the system ourselves (at no charge) or have engineers present at the installation. The dimensions of this tunnel present interesting challenges and we would like to be on hand to quickly deal with any problems and to learn from the installation process.

You may install the system as soon as Kubra gives permission to dig the tunnels.We don't want to dig a tunnel on our side if Kubra won't let us link up with him.

If a tunnel is found running through Jaredcohenian waters or land, it will be either collapsed or it will be toxic gassed.

Sure we could meet underground, it would just take a couple decades! or centuries....

Although, the idea of using a Gauss railway has been noted.
