Under-Secretary of State Frederick Talis walked up the stairs to board one of the Aequatian Government's C-32F VIP aircraft as it prepared to take off from Bomfy Memorial International Airport just outside the capital of Magna Casa. Elsewhere on the tarmac sat a C-180 Carryall which housed the official's cars that would taxi him while abroad. As well, two F-1A Thanatos fighter aircraft with wing-mounted fuel tanks for extended flight, taxied into their take off positions on the runway and zoomed off into the air ahead of the others.
Within twenty minutes, all four aircraft were in the air and on course towards Lolitaland, Frederick sat back in his seat with a glass of Rye in his hand as he tried not to worry about the scenarios that played in his head concerning flaming wreckage and twisted metal.

Most Serene Leader Anastacia Ori sat comfortably in a faux-leather office chair, behind a handcarved, very large redwood desk. Her hands were folded comfortably in her lap, and her face gave no hint of emotion, beyond her normal calm rationality.
"Most Serene Under-Secretary Talis is in the air, and will be arriving in several hours. We are preparing accomodations for him and his entourage within the guest wing," Yuri Andropov was filling Anastacia in on the situation regarding the Aequatian envoy. The Most Serene Leader nodded, but didn't speak.
Yuri continued. "We have been informed, however, that Comrade Talis is bringing motorcars with him; should I contact the airport?"
Anastacia nodded. "Please do," she said quietly. "Preparation should be made so as to prevent confusion. Ensure that there is a party prepared to meet our guest. Thank you for updating me, Comrade Andropov," Anastacia said, dismissing her assistant. Yuri bowed, then left quietly.
Anastacia sat back in her seat, and closed her eyes for a moment. She hoped that the visit would go well; her country needed to expand out into the world. She was worried, however, knowing that the manner and dress of the Lolitas was... different, from that of most of the world. She hoped that the Under-Secretary would not be off-put by the childlike appearance that she, and much of her staff, had.

Frederick walked through the cabin towards the restroom and locked the door behind him as he entered it, the alcohol had helped calm his nerves, but not by much. Meanwhile, the group of aircraft continued on its course, the only break in the flight was the arrival of a KC-180 Supertankers to refuel each of the aircraft, especially the F-1A fighters which had long-since discarded their external fuel tanks. The pilots exchanged friendly "hellos and good-byes" before the KC-180 pulled away and let the aircraft run their course.
After a few hours the pilot of the C-32F had noticed the navigational beacon's signal from the Lolitaland airport before switching to a public radio channel, "Lolitaland Air Traffic Controller, this is Aequatian Flight Eagle Two, requesting vector for landing in Kyovich, over."
