Roman Store Items (Ignore)
Please just ignore this post, I am making a storefront on another thread (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=479438). Sorry about this.
Enhanced Contact Lenses:
Unlike twentieth century contact lenses, these actually work as enhancement and give the person wearing them. They are micro-sandwiches of electronics. Just like normal contract lenses, these lenses are placed in the eye but they have special automatic cleaning systems that allow the wearer to keep them in their eyes for months at a time. The lenses will not be noticed except under careful examination of the persons eyes. Many features automatically activate but special optics are activated by making a twisting motion with the wearers optic muscles.
Billboard Lenses: These lenses simply transmit data from another close range system and work almost like computer monitors placed in your eyes. These are used for the simple transmission of data, special enhancing displays, virtual reality, and even weapon targeting. The only danger is that the transmission of the other equipment can be picked up at very close ranges.
Cost: $6,000 per pair.
Light Amplification Lenses: These lenses work by simply increase the light so that a person can see in dark conditions. They will not work in absolute darkness because they must have some light to work properly. These lenses automatically activate when the conditions require them and shut down when conditions are too bright.
Cost: $8,000 per pair.
Microscopic Lenses: These lense enable the wearer to magnify objects up to 100 times their normal size for better microscopic work but have a ver limited range. This is limited to about 2 feet (.6 meters)
Cost: $5,000 per pair.
Polarized Lenses: The glare of bright light and sunlight is filtered as well as a normal pair of polarizing sunglasses. The lenses automatically compensate and require no trigger from the wearer. The person wearing the contact lenses can look directly into the sun
Cost: $3,000 per pair.
Radiation Detector: Normally used by engineers that may have to work around radiations. The lense simple creates a visual representation of radiation levels along with warning messages as needed. This system is general kept on but may be shut off when needed.
Cost: $4,000 per pair.
Telescopic Lenses: These lense enable the wearer to magnify objects up to 8 times their normal size for better long range vision. These lenses are activated by the wearer of the lenses.
Cost: $5,000 per pair.
Thermal Imager Lenses: These lenses give an optical heat sensor and converts the infra-red radiation into a visible heat source. The person can see in darkness, shadows, and even smoke. These lenses are not true light amplification. The wearer must trigger the lense to activate them.
Cost: $8,000 per pair.
Ultra-Violet Lenses: Allows wearer to see in the ultra-violet range which allows the person to see in the dark under many conditions. Though images will be off in color under many conditions. These lenses are activated by the wearer of the lenses.
Cost: $5,000 per pair.
Underwater Lenses: These lenses compensate for the distortion underwater. The lenses automatically compensate for being in the water and require no trigger from the wearer but in order to focus for different water conditions they must be controlled by the wearer.
Cost: $5,000 per pair.

Artificial Skin
Skin is grown in special vats and is used to replace skin. They can be made in virtually any color. Most common is normal skin colors but may be bright colors or may be mixed like a dalmatian spots or other unusual styles. The texture is also variable and can be scales like snakes and many other styles as well. The skin has sweat glands grown into the skin as well.
Cost: $2,000 per square foot
Artificial Muscle Replacement
There is a similar system also available know as Muscle Augmentation which boosts the Muscles with high strength Miomers. Muscle Replacement replaces the muscles with vat grown muscles. As more replacements are added, the muscles look heavier and heavier. Up to four levels of muscle replacements may be fitted but with all four, the person will look like a heavy body builder. This cannot be combined with Muscle Augmentation but may be added to bio-system limbs as well.
Cost: $8,000 per level
Artificial Hair
Like skin, the hair is grown in special vats and can be grown in virtually any color. This can include natural colors, unusual colors such as bright orange or green, or even mixed colors such as leopard spots or tiger stripes. This can be used to augment lost hair, replace hair, or even be used to cover the body in artificial hair.
Cost (eyebrows): $600 per pair
Cost (larger areas): $4,000 per square foot
Artificial Bone Replacement100,000 sold!
This is used to replace severely damaged bones structure and reinfroce lesser damage.

Modified Pheromones
Many of the bodies pheromones have been replaced by special ones. The result is that a person will appear more attractive to many people and their mental affinity. These pheremones have full effect on the persons race, have half effect on similar races
Cost: $30,000 each vial (64oz)
In many ways, these are similar to amplified hearing implants but are very small and fit completely within the ear canal with not surgery needed. The plugs may have multiple systems built into them. Up to three systems may be put into a set of plugs but the cost with be 50% more than the combined total of the three systems because of greater micronization.
Communication Plugs: Special built in long range wide band radio transmitter and receiver that can transmit a whisper and voices of other people up to 6 feet (1.8 m) away. It has a range of 20 miles (32 km) and with an additional antenna (hangs out the ear like a cable) the range is increased to 100 miles (160 km)
Cost: $1,200 per pair of plugs.
Sound Filtration System: Protects the ears from potentially damaging sounds by either filtering or blocking the sound.
Cost: $500 per pair of plugs.
Ultra-Ear: Allows Character to hear into the Ultrasonic Ranges. This allows the character to hear sound that cannot normally be heard. It can be turned on or off by the character.
Cost: $2,000 per pair of plugs.
Language Translator: This system translates people speaking into a language that the wearer can understand but does not help the person be understood by anyone else. This system is common so it is not as much of a problem as it could be. The system can store up to 50 languages.
Cost: $5,000 per pair of plugs.

Forest Camouflage Variant (http://www.angelfire.com/planet/mdor_site/images/equipment/rifle4_snow.png)
Info: An extremely powerful weapon but limited in rate of fire. This weapon was used by Roman forces as their primary sniper weapon. Instead of firing a burst like most rail guns, the SRG-1 Rail gun fires a single large plasma surge at huge velocities. It inflicts incredible damage and is very long ranged. It uses special recoil buffering systems but can only be fired when braced. A special high density Discarding Sabot round was developed to increase the weapons damage even further. The power for the rail gun is provided by special capacitors in the magazine. The weapon can be broken down into approximate 60 lb bundles and be carried by teams of three with one carrying three magazines. There are special plasma guided rounds available. The nose of the bullet can be altered in position compared to the main body of the bullet allowing it to alter course slightly. This allows the bullet to compensate for wind, drop, and if the target moves slightly. There is an integral plasma in the rifle and can also be controlled by others. The Rail Gun can also be used by a power armor although usually other weapons were preferred due to the weapons limited rate of fire.
Weight: 116 lbs (52.6 kg)
Rate of Fire: depends on handler
Maximum Effective Range: 8,000 feet (2,450 meters)
Magazine Payload: Unlimited
Cost: $220,000

Power System: Hydrogen-Fusion/Solar Technology with 15 year lifespan before fusion reactor runs out of fuel
Features:
Time Gate: Upon receiving the activation code the gate takes one minute to fully open the vortex. The gate stays open for 15 minutes and then takes another minute to fully close. The gate cannot be traversed during the opening and closing stages. Recharging: normal recharge time between activations is 4 minutes. The gate simply cannot be opened before the capacitors have fully charged. Doubling the recharge time allows the gate to stay open for 3 extra minutes, but there is a 10% chance that one of the generators will overload, resulting in a explosion which will destroy everything within a 4 mile radius. Activation codes: Because timegates are so incredibly expensive to build, only governments and large corporations build them. In order to win back part of the costs, shipping firms, independent contractors and alien governments buy transfer quota from the party which owns the timegate. Included with these quota are activation codes which are used to activate a timegate. Every time a code is used, it is logged and after a certain amount of uses the code is rendered useless, forcing the user to buy or upgrade a quota. The owners (almost always -Rome-) have access to special codes that allow unlimited use of the gates. Of course it is very interesting for pirates and enemy governments to know such unlimited codes and who has bought the access codes to which timegate. This has made data theft a even more lucrative business than it already was. Time beacon: Every timegate emits a constant signal in the vortex. The signal is encoded, and someone who has bought access time to a timegate can find the timegate through the code. The beacons are also used as a general navigation aid in the vortex. Because the beacon is a part of the timegate, it is also the receiver through which the signal to open the gate from future/past time into normal time is received.

Special Equipment:
APAR-16 Three Dimensional Search Radar System: An incredibly advanced radar and computer system first developed before the coming of the year 2100 A.D. and is the equal of the Aegis system on Coalition Navy vessels. Powerful and flexible system that is comprised of four panels that each emit radar waves. If allowed by the horizon, the system can track out to 900 miles (1440 km) and can simultaneously track and identify up to 1,500 targets at one time. The system controls missile launched from the long range missile launchers and the system track and guide each individual missile to an individual target for up to 300 targets. If a target is eliminated, missiles are automatically guided to a new target. The system can also control missiles launched from other linked vessels as well and can also act as fire control for gun mounts. Advanced Hull Sonar: Mounted under the bow of the ship. Range of 25 miles (21.7 nm / 40.2 km). This hull sonar system has both a passive and active system built in. Sonar system can track up to 50 targets at one time Advanced Towed Array Sonar System: The system is basically a long and very sensitive sonar system carried behind the ship on a long cable. Range of 100 miles (86.9 nm / 160.9 km). This towed array sonar system has both a passive and active system built in. Sonar system can track up to 64 targets at one time. Infrared Masking System (IRMS):From all over the hull and Superstructure a fine mist of cool waterdroplets is sprayed. This lowers and distorts the ship's heat signature. Give a -10% penalty to any Read Sensory Instrument rolls to detect the ship using Infra Red systems. This system is not effective at speeds over 40 knots (46 mph / 74 kph), as the spray is then blown away by the speed of the ship Radar Defeating Profile: The ship superstructure is designed so that the radar profile of the ship is greatly reduced. Because of this, attempts to detect the ship using radar are made with a -30% penalty to read sensor rolls when attempting to detect this ship. Combination Radar Detectors and Active Jamming System: Combination of radar detection system (ESM) and an active jamming system. The system can detect another radar system at 125% of the range of the transmitting radar. In jamming mode, causes -25% to detection but when it is active, other vehicles/ bases can detect that it is jamming, and some missiles will home in on jamming signals.

Endurance:
Submerged: 24 months due to advanced air srubbing systems and power systems release oxygen from the water. General: The ship carries 30 months of consumables and supplies aboard.
Maximum Depth: 2.75 miles (4.43 km)
Length: 2,000 feet (600 meters)
Width: 400 feet (120 meters)
Height: 200 feet (60 meters)
Cargo: In addition to two battalions of mechanized infantry, a brigade of regular infantry, and its aircraft squadron w/ ammo and equipment; the Collosus can carry an additional 18,000 tons of extraneous cargo.
Power Systems:
6 Hydrogen-Fission Reactors 2 MHD Drives (runs parallel to each other across the length of the submarine)
Weapon Systems:
Four Ion Pulse Cannons Six Laser CIWS Turrets 18 Heavy Torpedo Tubes Eight Cruise Missile Batteries Four Counter Missile Batteries Advanced Decoys: The submarine carries eight advanced decoy drones. They are a small automated vehicles that creates a false sonar image designed to mimic the submarine's sonar signature. It has a small propulsion system that can simulate movement (has a top speed of 25 knots) and maneuvers. If decoys are not destroyed, they can be recovered and repaired. Noisemakers: The submarine carries noisemakers to decoy torpedoes. These noisemakers are similar to those used by MT (modern-tech) submarines. The noisemakers are launched from the middle of the submarine Gel Coating: The submarine could form a Gel coating around itself by running a low powered electric current through its hull and releasing a set of chemicals into the water surrounding it. Under the influence of the electric current the chemicals bonded with the seawater, forming a thick gel that clung evenly to the hull. This coating absorbed both in and outgoing noise, which made the sub virtually impossible to detect by both passive and active sonar.
Special Equipment:
Enhanced Radar: Can identify and simultaneously track up to 364 different targets from a range of up to 500 miles (800 km) away. Advanced Hull Sonar System: Range of 80 miles (69.5 nautical miles / 128.7 km). This hull sonar system has both a passive and active system built in. Sonar system can track up to 32 targets at one time and can read sensor and weapon system rolls. Sonar also has built in communication system and sound pulse system to detect obstacles, objects, vessels and fish (schools and large animals), as well as measure distances and depth. Advanced Towed Array Sonar: The system is basically a long and very sensitive sonar system carried behind the submarine on a long cable. Range of 250 miles (217.2 nautical miles / 402.3 km). This is an incredibly sensitive and is as powerful as the special purpose pre-rifts SURTASS system. This towed array sonar system has both a passive and active system built in. Sonar system can track up to 64 targets at one time. ESM: This system is mounted in mounted in the superstructure and is extended in a similar manner to a periscope. The antenna is very hard to detect both visually and by radar. Can detect another radar system at 125% of the range of the transmitting radar. Quieted propulsion and Anechoic Coating: The ship is designed with a very quiet propeller design, the submarine's reactors make very little noise, and the ship is coated by a sonar defeating rubber coating. Without these features the submersible carrier would be very easy to detect and most of the special features are designed to prevent easy detection of the vessel. when traveling at speeds greater than that.
The drawback was that the gel would slough off if the sub exceeded 15 knots of speed, and that the sub only had a limited supply of the gelating chemicals aboard. In order to listen past the coating the sub reeled out a towed sonar array through the gel layer.

MHD (Magnetohydrodynamic) Drive
http://www.geocities.com/pwfootball89/images/noImg.png
A Magnetohydrodynamic drive or MHD propulsor, is a for propelling seagoing vessels. An electric current is passed through seawater in the presence of an intense magnetic field. Functionally, the seawater is the moving, conductive part of an electric motor. Pushing the water out the back accelerates the vehicle. The MHD is attractive to engineers because it has no moving parts, which means that a good design might be silent, reliable, efficient and inexpensive. Most efficient when used on submarines.
Cost: Depends - Telegram us with the designated submarine's statistics and an image link, and an estimate shall be sent back as soon as possible.
QuikClot® Hemostatic Agent1,030,000 sold!
http://www.geocities.com/pwfootball89/images/quikclot.jpg
QuikClot® is a proven lifesaver on the battlefield. It can be easily applied by a medic, wounded combatant, or any serviceman or woman to immediately contain blood loss and achieve hemostasis.
In addition to the Roman military, many other governments and militaries have approved QuikClot® brand hemostatic agent for use.
In addition to its ease of use by anyone who can tear open a package and follow simple instructions, QuikClot® products for military use are long lasting and rugged enough to withstand battlefield conditions and extremes of weather.
Homeland Security agencies, including the RDF, RIA, and MDBI, count on QuikClot® for rapid life-saving treatment of massive bleeding. Heightened homeland dangers have unfortunately become a way of life. But, many lives can now be saved - even in the most traumatic scenarios.
In situations where severe injuries may take place and acute medical care is unavailable - such as on a hijacked airliner or at the scene of a bombing - enforcement professionals or anyone within reach of QuikClot® can save lives.
What is it?: QuikClot® brand hemostatic agent is a breakthrough product that saves lives by rapidly stopping severe bleeding. It is composed of an inert mineral substance that can be formulated and delivered to meet a variety of medical needs and applications. QuikClot® is changing the way we look at traumatic bleeding, by giving the first responder and others, an additional tool they can use to save a life.
How does it work?: QuikClot® hemostatic agent is a molecular sieve, sifting molecules by size. When QuikClot® comes into contact with blood in and around a wound, it rapidly takes in the smaller water molecules from the blood. The larger platelet and clotting factor molecules remain in the wound in a highly concentrated form. This promotes extremely rapid natural clotting and prevents severe blood loss. Additionally, the nano-engineered particles provide key surface chemistry, rapidly enhancing the body's natural coagulation process. The process represents a new approach to hemostasis, which typically involves adding clotting factors rather than extracting elements to halt bleeding.
Directions: First apply pressure, then blot excess blood and any water from the wound area before pouring QuikClot® on the wound, and reapply pressure.
Advantages of using QuikClot®:
Proven lifesaver on the battlefield
Only hemostatic product to achieve 100% survival rate in comparative testing
Medic-applied, buddy-applied or self-applied
Easy to use, even in battlefield conditions
Forms powerful clot that stays in place through evacuation from battlefield to medical facility
Biologically/botanically inert; safe to leave in wound until further medical help is available
Controls high-volume arterial and venous bleeding when used in conjunction with a pressure bandage.
Deployed in every Marine Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) and in use by Army and Air Force medical personnel

SG-1A Riot-control "Blaster" Shotgun
http://www.geocities.com/mdor_site/images/equipment/shotgun1.jpg
Description:
The Blaster is a futuristic riot-control shotgun. Firing small packets, the 'batons' as they are called house an explosive battery that releases a low yield electrical charge on impact. The combination of kinetic force and stunning discharge are ample to stun, and render harmless, most humans, biobreeds, and robotic systems for a period of several minutes. Used in the same manner as a shotgun, the Blaster is quite popular in riot situations and prefered by most Roman MPs. Recent, more compact hunting versions of the Blaster have been appearing in the hands of freelance Roman hunters all over Lemuria. The infrared aiming scanner makes the weapon particularly good for stealth or night operations.

SG-2 Shotgun
http://www.geocities.com/mdor_site/images/equipment/shotgun2.jpg
Description:
hotguns are common weapons. The standard contemporary shotgun has a variable sized breech capable of adapting to most shotgun shell sizes. While a single cassette would need to be loaded with identical shells, after being fired the shotgun would need to be manually (though easily) adjusted to accept other shell sizes. Reloading a shotgun seems to be slower than most other firearms, but the adaptability, reliability, and common use of these weapons make them very popular. Most armed troops use shotguns as an alternate weapon to mix with standard sidearms and firearms.

HypnoTrancer Battle Rifle
http://www.geocities.com/mdor_site/images/equipment/hypnotrancer.jpg
Description:
-Rome- has many cybernetic drones functioning within it's borders and a special type of weapon was created to deal with the many threats they might encounter. The HypnoTrancer projects a beam of intense psychic and sonic energy that floods the target with sensory overload. Depending on the physical resistance of the target, it could be knocked out for quite some time (up to 60 minutes). Robotics and those heavily implanted with cybernetics (Bio-systems (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=10837358&postcount=3)) tend to be more resistant.
Type: Battle rifle
Operation: PsychoSonic projection
Type of fire: Single shot
Rate of fire: 12 rounds per minute
Sights: Fixed, Non-adjustable, notch/blade
Feed: 30 round removable battery pack
Weights: 3.5kg (Empty); 4.3kg (Loaded w/60 rounds)

Bionetic Implants were a commonplace evolution of cybernetic implants. Inert mechanical or robotic replacements for biological human components were a thriving means of body enhancement for several centuries. The discovery of psicrystals, however, changed the entire direction of cybernetics. Bionetics were more compact, discreet, powerful, and reliable than cybernetics ever where. Powered and infused by psicrystals, Bionetics achieved the height of development shortly before and during the production of the BioSynth subspecies. Many of the more stable systems and developed implants became standard in the artificial BioSynth constructs
FaceMolder Reconstruction
Extensive slow tissue growth and genetic manipulation helps boost the natural attraction of the Biosynth. Flawless features as well as artificial pheromone excretion glands help make the Biosynth particularly pleasing, beguiling and charming. It is due to this reconstruction that most Biosynths exhibit apparently delicate and beautiful facial features.
Cost: $15,000 per operation
Behavioural Inhibitors
Artificial hormone glands that regulate mental patterns and behaviours. It is due to the Inhibitors that Biosynths are capable of retaining above-animal thought capabilities. Removal of the Inhibitors would turn a typical human into a rampaging creature of uncontrollable distruction and anarchy. It is also the Behavioural Inhibitors that allow humans to have such great focus of mind and spirit.
Cost: $10,000 per implant operation
HyperSynaptic Response Links
Wetwired throughout the entire nervous system, the Response links increase reaction time, response speed, and include multiple adrenaline chargers for instant boosts of superhuman ability.
Cost: $25,000 per implant operation
BioMusculature Restablization
The Biosynth's circulatory and musculature systems are much more efficient than typical humans. With a reinforced bone structure, Biosynths are capable of incredible feats of strength and power otherwise thought impossible to humans.
Cost: $150,000 per operation
SubDermal Plating ChemoTherapy
Large platelettes of flexible subdermal tissues have been strengthend to prevent deep, penetrating injuries. Capable of withstanding a single impact from a moderate range sidearm, the SubDermal Plating can heal over time like normal flesh. The plating covers all major muscle groups of the limbs and torso.

The weapons officer frees the pilot from controlling the missiles so he can retain his full attacks. E.S.M. ALIR (Around Looking Infrared): Range 40 miles (64.4 km). A set of IR sensors set to cover the entire area, including aft of the plane. Allows the Fabius' pilot to get visuals on targets at night, and also allows the pilot to target an enemy plane by detecting the heat from its engines. V.A.S.: Visual magnification that multiplies all images by about 300 times which allows visual identification and tracking of fighter sized objects out to 30 to 40 miles (48.3 km to 64.4 km). System has low light amplifications to allow for the systems use during night time conditions. The low light system uses light amplification to make a picture. Emits no light but will not work in absolute darkness. System can be dazzled by sudden bright sunlight but does not physically blind the pilot. Note that the system will NOT be blinded by the flashes of the Fabius' own weapons, as these are automatically filtered out. Radio Communications: Wide band and directional radio and video telecast capabilities. Range is 1000 miles (1609.3 km) and can communicate with up to 48 vehicles simultaneously. Special Equipment: (FT and MT)
Stealth Features: Causes a -80% to any attempts to detect the fighter using radar. The special shape of its exhaust also means that the plane is -20% to detect using IR sensors. All IR guided missiles are -10% to strike. The engine is also much quieter than it is on the standard version of the fighter. Opening the main ordnance bay greatly increase the aircraft's radar signature from the underside of the aircraft and aircraft creates no penalties to be detected in those conditions. Internal Active Jamming Gear: Causes -25% to detection but when it is active, other vehicles/ bases can detect that it is jamming, and some missiles will home in on jamming signals. Jamming also causes a -15% penalty to all radar guided weapons. Radar: Range 300 miles (482.8 km). The radar system can identify and track up to 48 targets simultaneously and is also capable of Terrain Following for low altitude flight. With Combat & Targeting Computer, the fighter can fire missiles at up to sixteen targets at the same time. The weapon officer frees the pilot from controlling the missiles so he can retain his full attacks. FLIR: Forward Looking Infrared. Allows pilot to get visuals on targets at night. E.S.M.: Radar Detector, Passively detects other radars being operated. Laser Navigational System: Allow flight at low altitude without use of Radar. Gives a map of the Terrain. Jamming Suite: (Electronics Warfare Version) Replaces all ordnance in the ordnance bay. The system creates a jamming field in a 60 mile (96.5 km) radius in all directions around the Aircraft. It jams all radars, radios, and all equipment that uses RF waves. This also includes jamming all friendly forces and all equipment in aircraft that is mounting the system and operating it. The system cause all radar system to have a 85% reduction in range. In addition, radar systems will have a -25% penalty to detect all targets within their reduced range. Laser communications and light-based sensors are unaffected by the jamming system. Jamming also causes a -6% penalty to strike with all radar guided weapons within the area but some radar guided missiles can home on jamming signals.
