Here’s the plot: The year is 2079. Two thousand years since the eruption of Mount Vesuvius destroyed the city of Pompeii. Many who lived by the old volcano, thought it was no longer a threat to the world and much less the world. Had they known better, not so many casualties would have been made… Vesuvius had erupted with a force unseen by any living human. Lava flowed down from the mountains and ashes filled the sky with blackness. Now the stories of before Vesuvius’s eruption, the time it erupted, and the aftermath are told…
Now then, in this story, you get to be a character, organization, or a country that has to somehow deal with the sudden eruption of Vesuvius.
Here are the choices that I can think of:

Italian citizen
Politician
Other country who tries to help Italy or bring it into even more chaos
