We can sell you the ZS-1 Infantry Battlesuit for $10,000 each. Much of it is classified, but we can tell you it can take multiple hits from a rather heavy machine gun. It is very resistant to fragmentation grenades as well, and is compatible with any assualt rifle. It contains sensors, a radar, and a targeting system. Anyone not transmitting a certain signal will be highlighted as a target on the visor.

Pale Rider Arms will happily supply you with the finest in infantry enhancement equipment. Attached are specs for our current battle armor models, the PA-1200 Akuma and the PA-1000 Tetsu no Kami.

Akuma Powered Battle Armor

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v652/blaesa/Akumapowerarmor.png

The second in the PRA line of powered battle armor, the Akuma is at the pinnacle of PRA technology. Incorporating a wide variety of systems into its three meter frame, the Akuma is ready for anything.

Armament
Continuing in the tradition of PRA multipeds, the Akuma is equipped with a single power armor-grade universal weapons mount, which replaces the armor’s primary hand and forearm. This system is capable of mounting a variety of weapons, which include:
13mm machine gun (PRA GPHMG variant)
20mm chaingun
40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher
Iron Rain Gatling Shotgun (10 gauge)
30mm high velocity battle rifle
Thunderclap 60mm cannon
Ammunition for the weapon systems is for the most part belt-fed, with ammunition stored in a heavily armored backpack.

The second arm is unarmed, although the hand is capable of a full range of motion and thus is capable of using most weapons intended for infantry. The Akuma above is shown with a modified PRA shock bokken and chaingun.

PRA has also experimented with a series of back-mounted weapons, with limited success. While not yet included in the Akuma’s load out, Pale Rider Arms has high hopes that a later version may mount these weapons.

Interface
Included in the Akuma is a standard PRA datajack, allowing the pilot to plug directly into the power armor and operate it via direct neural interface. As usual, the armor features full ASIST (artificial sensory induction system technology), and prevents neural signals from the pilot’s brain from reaching his body, thus preventing injury. The pilot sits inside the chest of the armor, his legs extending to the upper greaves. His arms are contained entirely within the torso, and his head is contained directly below the helmet, which serves as a sensor platform and general target.

Sensors
The Akuma boasts a full sensor suite, with visible spectrum and infrared cameras scattered across the armor (one cluster in the head, one on the back, and one in the chest). The head also contains ultrasonic sensors, used to detect opponents using high grade optical camouflage. Also integrated into the armor is a full smartgun system, providing precision targeting information to the operator.

Armor
The Akuma provides an excellent degree of protection to its pilot, with up to seven centimeters of composite armor between the pilot and the outside world. The armor also features optional OLED camouflage, allowing it to act as an extremely effective sniper.

Power and Propulsion
Continuing in the tradition of other PRA power armor, the Akuma is powered by a polonium RTG, the same model as that found in the Tetsu no Kami. The half kilo of polonium provides power for up to six months before needing to be refueled. The RTG is, of course, heavily shielded.

The Akuma uses a unique method of propulsion: Instead of relying on servos and pistons like many primitive suits of power armor, the Akuma features a complete artificial musculature, precisely duplicating the range of movements of the human body using electroactive polymer artificial muscles (EPAM). By running an electric current through these materials, bundles can be made to expand and contract, flawlessly simulating the actions of the human body.

The Cost
The Akuma is available for the cost of 500,000 USD.

Tetsu no Kami Powered Battle Armor

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v652/blaesa/nazcapa.jpg

Engineered specifically for the elite PRA Red Samurai, the Tetsu no Kami (lit. God of Iron) serves to enhance the Samurai beyond their already impressive physiques to truly godlike levels. While not itself armed, its EAP musculature enables the wearer to weild weapons far beyond the capabilities of mere mortals. Tests have shown wearers of the Kami firing weapons such as the Iron Rain Gatling Shotgun or GPHMG accurately and unsupported.

EAM Musculature

The most important part of the Tetsu no Kami, the Electroactive Polymer (EAP) musculature serves to enhance the wearer's strength ten fold. EAMs are plastics that, when a current is run through them, the EAM will either expand or contract, pulling the suit with it. These polymers are interwoven and attached to the undersuit and out armor plates, duplicating the movements of the human body, increasing the strength of the wearer by effectively adding more muscle mass. In addition to acting in this role, the Tetsu no Kami's EAP acts as an additional layer of armor. Not only are the polymers themselves very resistant to ballistic penetration, they are interwoven with spidersilk threads for additional protection. Finally, the EAPs are perfectly capable of operating even when riddled with dozens of bullets. In fact, the undulating motion of the polymers tends to act in a reverse peristaltic motion, driving the bullets from the suit.

The Oversuit

The first layer of protection on the God of Iron, the Oversuit is intended to stop any incoming rounds far short of its inhabitant. The Oversuit is composed of overlapping plates of titanium-reinforced ballistic ceramics, protecting against rifle rounds up to 9mm. The plates slide over one another with ease, allowing a full range of mobility to the wearer, as well as allowing the armor to breath, allowing the undersuit to cool more easily.

The Undersuit

The Undersuit is an airtight layer of polymers over a comfortable, downy layer of the finest chinchilla fur, keeping the wearer comfortable and cool in any situation. The Undersuit reaches from the wearer's toes to the top of his head, covering everything but his face.

The Helmet

The helmet is an integral part of the suit. Containing complicated optics, including IR, ultrasound and night vision, the helmet is also attached to a computer core located in the back of the suit, which runs the suit's integrated Smartgun system. In addition, the helmet is the final stage in the suit's NBC warfare protection system, containing a rebreather and full air filtration system, allowing the wearer to survive for up to three hours in a complete vaccuum.

The Power Supply

The Tetsu no Kami utilizes a Polonium Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator to provide the suit with power. The generator houses half a kilogram of Polonium, enough to provide 60 kilowatts of power, more than enough for the suit's needs. With a half-life of 138 days, the suit can operate at full power for approxmiately six months before the Polonium must be replaced. This allows the battle armor to remain in combat for long periods of time without missing a beat due to power constraints. The fuel cell is shielded against radiation, and is removable, allowing it to be replaced with incredible ease. If returned to the proper Pale Rider Arms facility, spent fuel cells will be refilled for a nominal fee.

The Cost

Pale Rider Arms offers this suit to the general public at the low cost of only 400,000 USD.

Aeson War Ministry:

We at Brettonian Military Industries, producers of The Technology of Peace™, have been informed you are seeking a next-generation powered armor design for general usage.

As the purveyors of some of the finest and most aesthetically-pleasing modern weapon systems, we believe our high-selling assault suit, the AS-004H Stahlkörpe (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=447922) is just what your military needs.

Many have attempted, but few newer designs have been able to trump the Stahlkörpe's superior firepower, armor protection, and soldier-enhancing support systems. Additionally, few offer the longevity and full NBC-proofing that has become a hallmark of Brettonian armored systems.

We'll be in touch.
