International Kubran cooking Competition

Today, Kubrans take a day of from their work to enjoy the festivities on the annual Kubran cooking festival, the day when the culinary arts of the country are celebrated. There is much entertainment going on and there is even an amusement park. Of course, those are only small parts of the festival.

The cooking competition is by far the biggest event. Chefs from all around the world come to show off their cooking skills and compete for the grand prize of 2 million dollars. Over a course of 3 days sign ups for the competition are held and then the competition begins, lasting around a week.

Winners are given not only 2 million dollars, but are given a golden kitchen knife and a statue of themselves in any part of the city they choose. They also earn honour for their home country. Who will be the next winner?
