The troops marched side by side, weapons slung over their shoulders, their eyes straight ahead. This lack of looking side to side was a two edged sword. On the one hand, it made them seem like the unstoppable juggernauts they were portrayed to be.
On the other hand… The troops were marching through a dense jungle. Suddenly machine gun nests opened up on the column from either side. The troops were disciplined. They quickly took up positions and began firing back at the source. The fire stopped abruptly. Men rushed where the fire had come from, and found the guns, and those who had been operating them gone. All that was left was the hastily erected barricades designed to protect the gunners. The column reformed. The troops marched forward again.

“A column of loyalist troops was sent through the Kell jungle to seize this position,” announced the self-proclaimed Archduke Nicolas Mott to his inner circle. “As I’m sure you’re all aware, Jabari’s guerillas have no more love of the loyalists then we do. About twenty men made it out of that jungle.”
There were cheers from around the table. Nicolas raised his hand. Silence fell. “Above the obvious cause for celebration is an opportunity we should not overlook. We’ve been looking for a way to make peace with Jabari without loosing face. Him attacking these troops might just be it.”

A few days later…
A radio message was heard on sets across the country. “Archduke Mott has announced a ceasefire with Jabari, the leader of the guerilla forces currently in control of the Kell jungle. Impressed by the guerilla attacks against loyalist forces, Mott offered Jabari an immediate armistice. Jabari accepted, and diplomacy has opened up between these two great freedom fighters.”

Urgent Message
From: President for Life Acton Nekanori
To: All Nations
The disturbing alliance between Jabari and Mott marks an all time low for loyalist forces. We call for all nations to aid us in these trying times.
OOC: Should probably be noted, Nekanori was an oppressive leader. Mott is marginally better, while no solid reports are coming about things under Jabari.
