Out of curiosity, Thetania, what is going on in the battle where my 2nd Legion is deployed and fighting the STO?

For now, he would just take the two cities, and then only he knew what would happen.

IC: Having taken the better part of the week to reach the coastline of Thetania, Mer Des Ennuis's Wasp-class assault ships were ready to deploy. All 30 ships contained a total of 56,000 troops ready for immediate deployment. The remaining 144,000 soldiers were in much slower merchant marine vessles, and would arrive after a beachhead and forward base was secured. 5,600 were armed with General Dynamics M312 heavy machine guns. Another 5,600 were armed with either Beretta M82A1 "light 50" anti material rifles. 4,000 each of Javelin Anti-Tank and Starstreak Anti-Air systems were deployed. The remainder were equiped with Steyr Augs. 200 up-armored HMMWVs, 300 Warrior IFV's, 200 Merkava Main Battle Tanks were unloaded. Artillery support consisted of 150 towed M777A1 and 200 HIMARS missle systems deployed in the rear.

The army (1 segment below an Army Group) of men had 2 objectives: Set up forward bases to prepare for the remaining 144,000 men and ordinace to be delivered, and to cleanse the Thetania from the scum of Scientology. Pythogria must object. If Mer des Innuis razes cities, it will become an ememy of Pythogria.

OOC: Yea, relay took a lot of time. My group was lazy so I walked for an hour and 15 before I was relieved. I'll be heading out for that before 11.

IC: Mer Des Ennuis is mostly interested in peacekeeping, though we will bring the horrors of the Banhammer to any city that does not capitulate immideatly. We have 1,000 HMMWV's in various up-armored configurations, 2,500 Warrior IFV's in various configurations, and 2,000 Merkava 4 MBT's (israel uses them for urban fighting. they are superior to the Abrahams for fighting insurgencies). We also have, deployable from our ships, 120 Apache's and 200 Blackhawks, and 40 Chinooks.

The trial will be for all Thetania. Michelle and other children will be witnesses, the videos will be used as evidence. It will be like the Nuremburg Trials, I guess.

A bullet flew through the air. It was trying to hit Michelle, but Giovanni took it. He was on the floor, bleeding. The Supreme General ran up, and began to administer first aid. "John, get me that medkit! NOW!"

John returned with the kit.

Khonsu took out a strange, blue substance. He spooned a bit out of the jar, and put it in the wound.

It began to work, forcing the bullet out, and beginning to break down sugar compounds in the cells, providing tons of energy, sealing the wound very quickly. However, the experience would leave Giovanni losing a lot of wieght, and most likely in a coma for a couple weeks. He woild live though.

Not bad at all. First time I did an RP I did it in the form of news releases, but for a fast paced (and semi-bipolar) thread, I don't think I could have done much better.

As for people, the government of Mer Des Ennuis would love to smack any prisoners with the Banhammer (think cherryred Sledgehammer) before launching their barely-alive bodies 24.7km away. I'd say that's a fair penalty for attrocities.
