Official Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Saint Christopher from the Republic of Nicaragua
We, the Government of the Republic of Saint Christopher, do hereby announce the independence and formation of the aforementioned sovereign nation from the Republic of Nicaragua.
Having suffered under the unworkable economic policy failures of the Nicaraguan goverment, we have seen a deterioration in the standard of life for our people, our culture and our way of life.
We now hereby announce that we will accept no more of this mismanagement, no more of this willfull negligence, no more of this oppression of economic welfare and stifling of competitive development.
As of this day, the borders of the Republic of Saint Christopher (hereby to be known for the remainder of this document as the RSC) in its seccession from the Republic of Nicaragua shall be seen as follows:

All territory within the boundaries of the RSC will now recognise the government of the RSC as its lawful administration.
The Government of the RSC shall comprise a temporary Military Junta, the leading members of which shall co-sign this document, which will maintain full Executive, Legislative and Judicial authority in the short-term, during which civil unrest shall be quelled and adminstrative authority shall be ensured.
Following this transition period, free and democratic elections shall be held for the formation of a Transitional Government, which will form a National Assembly comprising of 100 members, and an Executive Cabinet headed by a President of the RSC. This Transitional Government shall then develop and ratify a Constitution protecting the individual and property rights of RSC citizens before calling for full national elections shortly thereafter.
