With Dissolution of Parliament, most of the Ministers of Parliament return to their home regions to run their reelection campaigns. The Current Prime Minister Uthman Bin Bashir (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v504/Ottoman01/081600f2.jpg) was running a successful campaign against his rival candidates for the post of Prime Minister. As where was Sultan Suleiman al Bashir II, in all this mess…who knows? He was on an 40 day international tour of the world and tour of Khailfah itself, visiting the many regions of his own Khailfah and visiting many allies nations of the Khailfah . When asked who the Sultan support in the elections for Prime Minister, the Sultan merely replied, “Let the best candidate win the post of Prime Minister.”

In other words the Sultan was taking a neutral stance on elections, just he was following the tradition set down by past Sultans on the matter of staying out of Parliament politics, even thought his brother was running for another term, he maintain his neutral stance over the matter.

The other candidates were

Mansoor al Saad bin Sahin Pasha, Minister from Cairo, Egypt of the Hezbollah Party

Hashemi Mahmoud Farshchian, Minister from Terhan, Near East of the Al Muslimeen Social Democratic Labour Party

Dr.Džemaludin Čaušević , Minister from the Dominion of European Union, region of Sarajevo, Bosnia for the Union and Progressive Party

All these candidates were fighting it out to win enough to win the post of Prime Minister, was going to happen in 30 days

On the eighth day of the election campaigns, the candidate made a major news announcement from the Union and Progressive Party

At the Press conference

“Ladies and Gentlemen of the press, after a series of meeting with party leaders…the Union and Progressive Party is here by dissolve, we throw our complete support to Unionist and Reformist candidate Prime Minister Uthman bin Bashir, all our ministers are now members of the Unionist-Reformist parties, we reach this decision on the grounds that our parties can no longer exist in its current state with declining support..therefore we voted to dissolve our party completely and join the Unionist Reformist party. Just we are out of the race for Prime Minister.”

Another major news announcement came from Prime Minister Uthman bin Bashir

“Ladies and Gentlemen of the Press, after a number of meeting with Party leaders from the Parliament and House of Viziers, we the members of the Unionist-Reformist party here by announce that do a shift in our thought process and mindsets over the past 50 years, we are no longer Centrist pro Left Wing, we now declare ourselves officially Centrist pro Right Wing, we are still a Centrist Party, we are now more right wing with our polices do change in standing opinion on key matters of state…we assure the people of the Khailfah are still loyal to the original ideas of old Unionist party and old Reformist party, we shall remain that party commit to the idea of preservation of the Khialfah and protecting the our interest all over the world, we shall not turn our backs to the core beliefs of Khailfah…we are the faithful believers of the Khailfah and will always remain so…the Unionist-Reformist party protectors of the state, during the good times and bad that laid ahead of us…We shall always be loyal to the state, and to the Khailfah…we are party of the Muslims…let us never forget our roots and backgrounds…lets us never forget those who give their lives to Khailfah…we shall never forget the fighters..LONG LIVE THE FIGHTERS, ALLAHU AKBAR!”

Then the Prime Minister left the podium

In other news today, Prime Minister Candidates Minister Mansoor al Saad bin Sahin Pasha and Minister Hashemi Mahmoud Farshchian have engage in debate which Minister Mansoor debunk a key argument of the Minister Hashemi on foreign policy. Which he call for a passive policy then a active one. Minister Mansoor pointed out that a passive policy for the Khailfah has been nothing good for Khailfah overall.. since during the decades under a passive or active policy, the Khailfah still had to deal with international events somehow related to it, just it’s a fruitless idea to bother with such a out of date idea. This is a major blow to the Labour party support since it has castled a shadow of doubt within their mindsets.

By twelfth day a debate will host by Istanbul State University…please tune intill then

Elections to commence, Unionist and Reformists to merge

Linda Chang

XNN News-Istanbul Bureau

9th of XX, 20XX

Following the dissolution of Parliament, today, an announcement arrived at our newsdesk confirming that within 30 days, a new set of elections to decide a new Parliament will be held. Thus, campaigning has begun to formulate a new Parliament and decide the future course of the KLM.

One of the strong players in this new race are the Unionist-Reformist Party, a merger of the Unionist and Reformist parties. Vowing to take a middle-of-the-road stance with a slight rightist bent, it has rallied around incumbent Prime Minister Uthman bin Bashir to try and maintain a lead in Ottoman politics, striving to "remain that party commit to the idea of preservation of the Khialfah and protecting our the interest all over the world, we shall not turn our backs to the core beliefs of Khailfah…we are the faithful believers of the Khailfah and will always remain so…." in the words of PM Bashir.

The new coalition will face off against Mansoor al Saad bin Sahin Pasha of the Hezbollah and Hashemi Mahmoud Farshchian of the Al Musulmeen Social Democratic Labour Party, expected to field their usual agendas of expansion and strong isolationism, respectively.

Debate so far has been lively; a debate on the eigth showed Mansoor, the Hezbollah candidate, successfully arguing that isolationism is a foolish policy and outmanuevering Farshchian. The results reportedly caused support for the SDLP to drop. Another debate is scheduled on the twelfth at Istanbul State.

At Istanbul University

The three debates, between the candidates for Prime Minister was about to began; the entire chamber was full of students, news reporters and the camera crews

Then the carmeas zoom on the Minister as he got up and began to speak “ Ladies and Gentlemen…I present you the AMSDLP,one of the parties that are for the people and do anything to help impove the people standed of living…we will work for the impovement of our fellow brother in their time of need. We belive in making sure no one goes hungry or homeless….we belive the government first duty is to people…we belive that hawkish polices of the current government have done little good for the nation overall…we must take a passive role in international policy…we must make maintaining well beings of our people first before international policy.. The AMSDLP is the party of the people, it cares for the people compare our rivals…we say allow the social progarms get more funding…and cut the runaway defense spending…just we can stablize our nation without overspending on our arms, we must take a lessons from the outside world on how to manger a nation without overspending on our arm forces or being too hard on our people…we must care for our people first then everything else is second to that.”

Then the Host spoke again

Then the carmeas zoom on the Minster

“Ladies and Gentlemen, my opponent state that the current government is taking a too aggression stance in international politics, yet thanks to this stance…we have gain our respect in the international community …let my opponent states that we are overspending in defense sector of the economy, that may be true..but the current state of world affairs recommend high defense spending to protect our nation from attack… we shall not weaken our nation by welcoming outsider ideas and mindsets…we have must not comprise with the outside world…we can’t trust the outside world that much…we must be always ready for war and for the Jihad! Hezbollah party is successor party to old Pan Islamic parties of the early periods of reformist era.. we still hold true to the core beliefs of the old Islamic parties…we shall not change our brief to fit those of the western world…we are an Islamic state and must be proud of our background and history…we will defend our honour and will not take lightly any insults to our faith by outsiders or insiders alike.

Then the Cameras zoom on the Prime Minister

“ Ladies and Gentlemen, my opponents have pointed out many very important points, their mindsets are too narrow minded to realize these problems in the full light….we must care for our people it is the duty of the state to make sure that there is no child going hungry at night or to make sure that people have a floor over their head…but does that mean our state is to become a welfare state as Labour party has hinted to us…we shall not follow such a mad policy such as converting our state to become a full out welfare state. We shall not dare force our people to become dependant on the state for basic needs…we must make the people help themselves, yet we shall continue and keep in place those programs that are design to help our people in their rough times. But we shall not become a welfare state at all cost or it will mean the death of our nation.

Also we must keep our active role in international politics, yet we must not be too hawkish in our stance…we must be peaceful and at the same ready to fight for our rights. But our nations interest shall always come first then to second…yet must not be always hawkish or too passive, we must act in between to maintain a equilibrium is key in international affairs. We shall not enter a too passive policy as the Labour party wants nor should be we be war bend and hawkish in our overall party has the Hezbollah party wants.

And as for the policy on change….we must always maintain our core beliefs …yet must have take note of change and realize that we must factors this in and how to adapt our policies to these changes to prevent decline in our mindset, yet we must not totally be conformist , we must maintain our non-conformist principles and not totally convent to Western thought since it will make us turn our backs on our ideological background and turn our backs on Islamic tradition, we can not do this at all…but we shall not destroy everyone we have build and create and fought for such a long time…by going on a mad Jihad path…we shall not do this mad war …yet we will not drop our arms and right to Jihad…we will only use Jihad when the situation dictated needs of Jihad... My people, the Unionist-Reformist Bloc has been the majority ruling party of this Khailfah for many years and has guide the people thought the good and dark times of our nation. The Unionist-Reformist Party is the voice of the people and voice of reason for our nation….we are the best choice for leading our nation…we stay true to our original believes of reforming the state in the hope of greater nation, it was us who rebuild the state after the years of chaos…we are the protectors and guardians of the state, the Unionist-Reformist Party here is to protect and improve the state, just we are the best choice party for the candidate of leadership in Parliament.” Just the” Debate “ was over and left up in the air for the people judge who was the best out of the three..

It seemed that one of the civilian plans was commandeered by media personnel and journalists. It was like a media convention in the DC-10, journalists, famous and infamous, known and unknown, all in one, very cramped plane. All of them wanted to see the speeches that would result.

The Sultan had return from international tour, so he fulfills his duties at the opening session of the new Parliament.

The Media was allow to broadcasts, the only media allow in the opening session were those of KNN( Khailfah News Network) and AMNN( Al Muslimeen News Network). Yet there a number of foreign diplomat were invited to see the opening session of Parliament, they assign to guess area of the chamber.

When the live broadcast began, the first thing that the people saw were the Ministers entering the chamber first, they were made up newly elected Ministers or reelected Ministers. The majority parties took their seat right side of Parliament and the opposition party took their seats in the left side of Parliament, now one could tell that Hezbollah Party had accepted a offer from the Unionist-Reformist Party to create a coalition government, do to the fact they were sitting at the right side of Parliament. Then after all the ministers were seat, they all rose up as the tetrarchs of the Imperium enter the Chamber.

First the Parliament Men at Arms, line up at doors of Chamber, they were dress in their black suits. Then when the doors open, the Imperial Black guardsmen enter the Chamber, they were dress in their black military uniforms, the leader of the group who ranked Captain, was holding an pole with Imperial Black Banner Flag on it and it had the symbols of the Khailfah on the pike, which were eternal Black Hawk fighting the Falcon in never ending battle. He marches to the center of the Chamber and planted the flag.

After the Imperial Black guardsmen had entered the room, the tetrarchs were allow to enter the room, it was dead silence as the tetrarch began to enter the room one by one.

The first to enter was Sultan Suleiman Al Bashir II (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v504/Ottoman01/9cf28c18.jpg), second to enter was Grand Vizier Mehmed Pasa Sokollu (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v504/Ottoman01/7bcc8e31.jpg), third to enter was High Chancellor Hashmir al Horatius Bin Assad (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v504/Ottoman01/255965c9.jpg) and last to enter was reelected Prime Minister Uthman Bin Bashir (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v504/Ottoman01/081600f2.jpg), they walked to enter and took their seats.

With tetrarchs seated, the Imperial Mehter military band played the Imperial Anthem. After the played the Anthem, the opening session of Parliament officially began, the Prime Minster rose up and walked to Podium to give his opening speech to Parliament and to the entire Khailfah.

““Bismillah al-Rahman, al-Rahiim, this meeting of the Khailfah al Muslimeen Parliament is here by in session, I shall make my opening address to officially open Parliament into session. “ He pause for a moment before saying his speech

“Oh Members of Parliament, Ministers, Today we have form a new government which its goal is to guide the people and protect our people from any harm. We are the government of the Imperuim…we are not a government of liars..We won’t tell the people just what they want to hear…we will tell them the truth.. Oh Members of Parliament, this government shall not abandon the principals that our forefather lay down for us, we shall not bow to winds of change as many other nations have done before and are doing now. As the saying goes “ The Mountain shall never bow to wind, no matter how strong its blows.” …This saying is true for us my people, we are the mountain and winds of change shall never force us to change no matter what…we shall change on our own accord, by because of outsider opinion. Let them have their stuck up views on society, we shall manger our state without outsiders entering in our business. We shall maintain our independence at all cost, our state will not fall into the influences of outside nations or any secret societies, we shall maintain our freedom.
The government exists to protect the state and defend the rights of her people and insure they don’t go hungry at night or be under the threat of being attack by mobs. Our government shall not turn its back to the oppress people of world, who to come us to for shelter and home, we shall welcome them as kin and help rebuild their lives in our lands. We have a standing history of protecting refugees from many nations; we don’t judge them by their race, creed or political background…we judge by their actions. Nearly 20 million people move to our state because they have heard of our nation and how we protect refugees and help them rebuild their lives. We compassion to our follow man in his time of need.. We even show compassion to our foes in war…where they show no compassion to our people, massacre us by millions and burn our cities to ground during the years of Chaos…we show them compassion and forgiveness, where some say they deserve no better for raping us of what little innocent we had left of the world…some who say that should burn them as they burn us during those 10 long painful years of chaos.. from 1947 to 1957…but no when we finally got our revenge…we show them compassion and just show them we were the better man…and made them our kin and brothers…why some would ask we would after what they put thought…raping our people…killing millions of us like sheep…and throwing our dead bodies in mass graves to never found ever again…because my people, we wanted to show the world, we would not degrade into salvages and barbarians , we wanted to show that we can behave like Human beings and treat our follow man with respect…yet we are still forever scared from the years of chaos…as the late Sultan Mustafa bin Asad once said in his speeches in the years following the chaos wars.. “ Never again shall we allow ourselves to be burn like that ever again, we shall never bow our heads in defeat…never again shall we ..be raped and left to died…never again shall we trust the outside world like we did before…we are forever scar with pain of the years of Chaos, NEVER AGAIN WILL WE BE RAPE BY THE OUTSIDERS!” Well my people we shall never again face something like the years of Chaos….we pick stability over chaos, we picked limitations of freedom over total freedom for the sake of stability of the state.
We promote thinking of all kinds to prevent our mindset from rusting or degrading…we promote freedom of the mind and teach ourselves that all men are equal, no matter if they are black or white or rich or poor , we all HUMAN Beings…we all have our flaws..no is prefect, not even government is prefect, my people…we live in a imperfect world..just we shall never try to create the prefect state…we must reorganize this my people if we are to move on to our place in history my people. But for my closing statement my people, I swear to you this…this government has not fail its people…this government will fight to its dieing breath to insure that people don’t face harm..this government shall not fail the people at all cost, I promise you my people that I shall work with the Sultan, Grand Vizier and High Chancellor to make sure the Khailfah and her dominions and protectorates are rest in peace without being attacked.. I swear to you on my honour and my family name…that this government will protect its state interest in the world and our right to exist! LONG LIVE THE FIGHTERS, ALLAHU AKBAR!”

With that the Prime Minister speech was over, everyone in the chamber clap his or her hands for nearly two minutes, in pure happiness of the Prime Minister speech, which blew them away. After the speech the members of Parliament and guest were allow to visited in the reception area of the building, they all lead away to that part of building, and just clear out of the Chamber.

OOC: Whoever wants to greet and say good luck to the reelect Prime Minister or say hello to the other three leaders, use your diplomat to do so in the reception area, note most of the ministers speak English, or German, or Russian, French or Spanish, so communication shouldn’t be a barrier that much.

Also don’t try anything funny…there is at least 100 Parliament Men-at Arms and a number of Imperial Black Guardsmen around the place, also your diplomat would have been searched already for weapons.
