Al Jumhuriyah al Susseq - Republic of Susseq Official Announcement

A brown-skinned man appears in the center of the screen, with a green-and-yellow striped tapestry hanging on the wall behind him. Hanging from the podium is another such tapestry with the Seal of the Republic embroidered on the front in Arabic and English. The man begins speaking in Arabic, and subtitles appear at the bottom of the screen in English.

Good evening. I am Fayiz Ullah al-Ghalib, King of the Holy Suseqi Republic. Our nation has become considerably large, and it is time we step out from the shadows that shroud our wonderful nation and announce our existance to the nations of this earth. We are a humble, hard-working nation under Allah, and with time, we hope to become a respected First World nation. As it stands now, the Suseqi people are building a new capital, to be titled the Susseq Jewel. Once this magnificent city is completed, embassy doors will open for the nations of the world to marvel at the magnificence of the Suseqi Republic. This is an excellent day for the people of Susseq and an even more excellent day for myself, as King of these wonderful people.

"Sir, an "Islamic Epublic" has sirfaced. Lower Sussex." th Advisor informed the Supreme General.

"Are they some kind of extremist theocracy terrorist group?" the Supreme General, Khonsu Izakabad, asked.

OOC: Are you a terrorist group? Are you a theocracy? Do you RP being an extremist?

"Islamic what?"

"An Islamic Republic, sir," his head advisor added, still a little sheepish from his last encounter with the Emperor, "The Holy Susequi Republic. They have just declared their . . ."

"Yes, yes," Emperor Christian Victor responded, "I'm having enough trouble dealing with our interests in Chitzenland without having something else dropped on my plate. Arrange some good trade relations and such with them. Other than that, just watch them."

"The people will not like us being involved with Muslims," John Williams, who was with the Emperor at the time, interjected.

"True enough," Christian chuckled, "But we do not want another conflict right now. Especially with a well developed nation. Besides, we are not making love with them, we are merely opening less than hostile relations."

"True enough," commented General Roberts, the secretary of the military and personal friend of the Emperor.

We, the leaders of Errikland, send our blessings. It is in our mutual interests to open up friendly relations between our two religious nations. We would also like to establish your intentions on the world stage, whether they be peaceful or otherwise.

While I find it interesting that you should think the Suseqi Republic would have any impure motives, I gladly accept your offer to open friendly relations between us. I believe a free trade pact, allowing our countries to benefit from each other economically, is the best choice for both of our nations at this point.

OOC: No... My natio njust doesn't like theocracies, and HATES religious extremists. And I can't describe how much it hates terrorists. They have no bias against Muslims or Allah or anything.

As part of our standard greeting package we are hearby offering a 20 year old Tritium fueled, thermonuclear weapon to your nation, with a maximum yeild of 12 megatons of TNT. This weapon will be shipped, inert via guarded freighter or aircraft, it is your choice. It also includes the plans for the gas centrifuges and an explanation of how to enrich uranium.
