It is time for me to jump into the NS RP world.
The Republic of Blaglug
Blaglug is located in the Golden Triangle region. Though Blaglug has territories, they will not matter or add to anything in RPs with this nation.
Blaglug's economy is fair. Obviously, for such a small and new nation, it doesn't have mountains of money. Currently, the government is focusing on increasing the strength of the economy due to the military operations and alliances the republic is currently dealing with. The nation feels, collectivley, that it is Blaglu's responsibilty to assist these alliances and not just mooch off of them.
The most important belief held by the country is political freedom. Voting is not compolsery, however most people believe this is for the best, as does the government. Political Freedoms are held as sacred, however are checked enough so that they aren't abused.
Crime is extreamly low in Blaglug because of its well funded police. People feel a little violated, however, that cameras are used in major and moderate public areas. The government feels, on the contrary, better to watch the public then to have the public killed and overrun with crime. "Without the police department," President Johnny Smooth was quoted, "our great nation would be overrun with crime and filth. The policies that have been put into place are geared at destroying the crime that hurts our nation, not spying on the public." The leading anti-camera intrest group declined to comment on the President's speech.
The people of Blaglug aren't opressed, however do to the actions to raise the economy and military, taxes are pretty high and people are growing weary of it. However, the people are living through it because they trust the government, which says quote, "They will be relieved soon."
Military
Blaglug's most valuable asset is its Air Force. Blaglug uses aprox. modern technology, with its Air Force being a little ahead of modern times.
Current military operations are being conducted in Arterus.
