At the start of time, there was only the LORD, when there was nothing, there was only the LORD, and at the end, the universe shall be judged by the LORD.

I have served my creator since the dawn of man. I have served him faithfully and loyally, throughout the rebellions of Lucifer, and the transgressions of Sodom. I have watched over the LORDS most favored creation. I have become the guardian of man.

I have seen their fall from grace, their sin in the garden of Eden. I have watched them drown from GODS almighty fury, but I have also seen them saved. I have watched as my LORD took human form and walked among them, I watched my master sacrifice himself for a world without love or care, and I have watched the purest of gifts, fall into darkness. For it is true, that though Lucifer is defeated, he is not completely without power.

In the human calender the year was 0000, the death of Jesus the Christ. Such a gift from my master should have been celebrated across the globe, but sadly, mans desire for sin and power blockaded the path of redemption. And so it came to be, war, power, and strife tore apart every civilization, and here is where we start our tale.

The year was 2230AD, and the city is Jerusalem. The planet is divided into two super states, the Eurasion Conglomerate and the Order of Light, both states are lost in power and hate, their souls now clearly starved of light. And the master watches the conflict with unease, as the last of his chosen people are preparing to destroy themselves. It is here that I am tasked with my eternal mission, I am now the guide of men. I act as the pillar of fire in night, and the pillar of cloud in the day. For it is now apparent, that lore and words are no longer suitable to soothe the souls of arrogance.

And so we left the Earth and the chaos behind, for GOD had chosen his people, the last remaining members of the Knights Templar. This legacy was once a proud military organization bent on destruction and evil, until, they evolved. My master had sought about a change in them, and so over time, their hearts were weakened, until all evil had been driven out of them. The only lust remaining, is for the Lord.

I took my masters flock far away from the Milky Way, we entered the void to rid man from the sin inherent in his heart, and slowly and surely I succeeded. My master has become happy at the purity of his creation, but yet, but still, so many dwell within evil. This new race of man, this pure light must now be forged into an army, it is time to wage a war, the final battle between good and evil. Lucifers time grows short, his power will soon dwindle. The exiles shall now, return.

The stone halls of the Cathedral beckoned the Inquisitors presence. For the first time in almost eight hundred years each and every one were called to the holy hall to hear the Lords instructions. The Milky Way had grown larger in recent months, the distant spiral arms so synonymous with the Galaxy were now clearly distinguishable by eye. The heart had told them to be wary of this place, for even though it showed great beauty, the Galaxy was indeed filled with traps of evil.

The hall in which the faithful were mustered was the oldest known part of the Cathedral, almost two thousand years old, the stones vibrated with history and honor; but they also vibrated with dark horrors of a sinful past. In the center lay the ark of the covenant, within the Ten commandments resided each one passed from God to Moses, and from Moses to his children. Alas, to think the heartache that the great prophet would endure if he could see the promised land now, ruined, destitute, ablaze with fire and discontent in the Lord, such acts would only serve to unleash a righteous fury, perhaps never to be quenched.

But the fury had already been unleashed, the anger was already apparent, for the LORD, was taking the exiles home, it was time, that the Galaxy became whole once more.

From the side halls and balcony's, children took their places; candles held between their soft hands. Letting out a soft psalm of David, the chamber filled with the presence of God, music re-sounded through the stones, baptizing them, absolving them of all sin long past. Until, at last, the message was here, the angel, the LORDS eternal messenger had arrived. The pillar of smoke extended from floor to roof, the soft white mist swirling in a uniform fashion, not a single piece of imperfection rocked the majestic sight.

"Hear me oh Israel, hear me and know my voice, that I am the LORD of your ancestors, Jacob, Moses and Isaiah. Hear me oh Israel, for these are the words of the LORD your GOD.

Behold, I send my angel to keep you. Behold I send my messenger to watch over you. Behold, I your GOD fight for you, now and eternally, for I remember the covenant with Jacob. Behold, I send an angel before you and to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

For you shall beware of him and obey his voice, provoke him not, for he will not pardon your transgressions for my name is in him.

But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and adversary unto thine adversaries. For mine angel shall go before thee and bring all into submission, for it is the will of the LORD your GOD."

The chamber remained silent as the pillar of white condensed into the familiar figure of the guardian. His grand wings folded back, his white robes trailing along the ground thundered authority of the divine. "Inquisitors, we are here to renew civilization. We are here to bring humanity back to the path of the LORD." The angelic voice reached all corners of the hall even though it was but a whisper. "We must begin upon the center of evil in this Galaxy, the heretics known as the Chronosian Imperium are our foes.... INQUISITORS ALERT THE TEMPLARS AND CLERICS, for to combat the dark, we must use the purest of the light!"

The children began their psalms once more, and the guardian faded back into smoke, his physical form degrading until once more, it was perfection itself. The Crusade of the righteous had truly started......

OOC: My apologies, this thread is currently closed. The war will of course expand, but not for some time.

The knights Templar were now the last soldiers of the LORD. It is said by some, that their souls are so pure that they are already half way into heaven itself.

Their inhuman strength and their unnatural long lives have made them the perfect guardians of the faith. Grappling with little more than swords and cross bows, it would be a wonder how these warriors could threaten any Empire, but as with all things from the LORD, not all appears as simple as it seems.

Grand swords which hang from leather scabbards would appear to the scientific eye, to posses no true trait apart from steal, but yet, the blade is fully capable of slicing through a bulk head. Their armour is made from a light composite of several common minerals, yet most weapons are unable to breech it. And their eyes, perhaps the most deadly of all their weapons. The eyes of the Templars are almost windows to God himself. When a Templar looks upon evil with intent, the demon will have two choices; flee, or face its greatest fear, Judgment.

Trained in combat from birth, the Knights serve one purpose and that is to fulfill the words of the guardian. Whatever he instructs it must be done. Wherever he demands, the Templars shall go, and whenever justice is required, the divine blades shall fall......

The training hall was filled with raw recruits waiting to serve the Crusade. Such a word confused the younger generations, Crusade was after all, a relic from another time, it had almost even been forgotten to most..... But the Templars were up to the task. GOD was behind their blades, GOD was their will.

Arrayed before the new recruits was the Templar elite, their mass training exercises resounded with precision, until eventually some Templars were no longer truly within this world. Some had reached a stage where their hearts, souls and minds were extended between the world of the living and the gates to eternal life. Such beings had been renamed clerics by the Grand Inquisitors, beings who moved with such haste, that their bodies seemed to shrink reality itself. Most people viewed an extended illusion when peering at a cleric, as though a man was in a million places at once, his face, armour and shield, brimming with light as it moved through shadow. Such a captivating sight would cause many an enemy to fall dead from their own infatuation.

The warriors of the LORD were indeed preparing in physical strength, while some, some people plotted in darkness.

Scurrying along the cold granite corridor, two Grand Inquisitors confided in secrecy, their plans for war protected by the guardian himself. The first, and the most popular of the two is Grand Inquisitor Eraxus, a man obsessed with scriptures, especially in regards to the lore of the law, most of which is still shrouded within Leviticus and Deuteronomy. The other man, far younger, but yet wiser was Grand Inquisitor Lavil who at this very moment, was being pushed for information........

"So Lavil" The first uttered without hesitation. "Have the guardians plans been revealed yet?"

The young man looked up with a faint smile, his face clearly demonstrating a series of mixed reactions. "So far the will has been secretive I'm afraid. The Holy spirit has yet to fill me with our detailed plans, but so far, I have been gifted with the knowledge of our first targets. Border worlds I believe, planets littered with heresy and sin, filled with people bent on pleasure and arrogance. I doubt we will be bale to save many, but my students shall try." The tone was sincere.

"I see brother, have we been gifted with any knowledge of their defenses?" The tone was understandably curious, but not overly concerned.

"Not as yet, but we do know that the worlds have wealth and strategic importance. Attacking from above the eliptical plane will strike the enemy hard, they have yet to face an extra galactic foe from such an angle, their defenses shall fall faster than any of us will expect."

"We shall see brother. GOD willing victory shall be swift, and conversions many." The two Inquisitors grabbed their crosses, each one grasping the wooden symbols in silent prayer for only a few seconds.

"Perhaps the Guardian will assist our forces.....?" Lavil aired hopefully.

"I doubt that will be necessary brother. The Templars are capable of dealing with any threat for now......" The open sentence smacked of disbelief and arrogance, but luckily for Eraxus, the guardian had decided that it was in fact, pride in the LORD........
